Ch. 27: Game Changer
"Do not despair my Predaking." Megatron said calmly as he growled making Elisa flinch internally. "For I vow to you that the autobots will pay dearly for the outrage against your kind." Megatron said with fake sincerity and Elisa wondered why Starscream and Knockout were smiling. "Shockwave report."
"It is true my liege Project Predacon has been rendered null and void. At least I have been unable to recover any beast forms. However there is something you must behold for yourself." Shockwave replied. Elisa joined her Carrier and Starscream as they came to the former lab.
"What is this?" Starscream gasped. Elisa's eyes were wide as she stared at the metal in front of her. It curled up into itself and it was covered in spikes all over.
"Pure cybertronian cybermatter." Shockwave announced. "Not unlike that which existed upon our primevil homeworld."
"Or that which engendered my citadel here on earth." Megatron added. "The result of the explosion?" He asked Shockwave.
"Indeed, yet the Cybernuclieic acid alone could not account with these cyberform. All possible logic points to the presence of one unexpected variable, synthetic energon." Shockwave announced. "Simply put this combination of elements could allow us to cyberform entire worlds." Shockwave added.
"Why do I feel a Shockwave plan coming on?" Starscream said annoyed. Elisa jumped when the scientist grabbed the seeker.
"Do not think for a moment Starscream that it has gone unnoticed that you left me at the mercy of the autobots!" Shockwave shouted.
"Master are you going to allow one lieutenant to harm another?!" Starscream pleaded but Megatron remained silent. "Master!" Starscream yelped again. Elisa took a step forward, but stopped when Megatron placed a servo in front of her.
"I'm thinking."
Elisa tensed when Shockwave shoved Starscream forward and grabbed his helm and started to push him forward towards a sharp spike.
"I am tempted to force you to share my perception of things." Shockwave said darkly.
"No! I only did what was best for the mission, but I do feel compelled to add that it was my very error in judgment that made this happy accident possible. If I recollect you were seeking to purge your laboratory of sensitive materials before the autobots arrived were you not?" Starscream squealed out.
"Your argument…is logical." Shockwave said before releasing him and letting Elisa let out a sigh of relief.
"Exemplary teamwork." Megatron said with a hint of sarcasm. "Now tell me Shockwave, why does this cybermatter resemble chaos?" Megatron asked. Needing to let go of her sudden tension Elisa quietly left the others and started wondering the cave in case any energon was present.
"The basic elements appear to be unstable. I will turn my attention to correcting that." Shockwave answered.
"Never the less, should we use this cybermatter to restore Cybertron or cyberform earth we would require a launch mechanism would we not?" Megatron asked. Shockwave only nodded. "Then we focus all our remaining resources upon the successful reconstruction of the Omega lock." He suddenly became aware that Elisa was missing. "Return to the warship." He ordered before he went after her. "Elisa?!" He called out.
"Over here Carrier." Elisa called out back at him. He looked at her puzzled as she was digging for something.
"Looking for energon again little one?" He asked curiously. She didn't answer as she continued her task. It wasn't long before she let out a gasp at her find.
"Oh no." Elisa cried weakly as she found that the Forge of Solous Prime had been shattered in two. Megatron looked at the broken relic curiously as Elisa let tears fall down her face.
"Why do you cry for a relic Elisa?" Megatron asked gently.
"Something as powerful as this carries energy like a life-force. When it shattered the energy died never to glow again." She said sadly. This knowledge made him ever more grateful that he didn't tell Elisa what had happened.

She knew she was taking a risk, but Elisa cautiously stepped out onto the deck of the Nemesis and flew off into the night. She had received a message from someone and went as fast as she could to meet with them. Elisa arrived at a small beach and when he saw who she was meeting he nearly jumped.
Elisa was meeting with Optimus Prime.
"How were you able to contact me?" She asked cautiously.
"Through the Matrix." Optimus said gently. "I am not here to harm you, but I am concerned for your safety." He explained quickly.
"You got my message?" She asked.
"Yes, and I believe you have a valid reason for suspecting Phoenix, though of course I have not seen her activities or Magma as of late." Optimus explained.
"She thinks Carrier cares about nothing but his power. I know that isn't true." Elisa said bitterly. Optimus stepped closer to her and pointed to the scar on her leg.
"What happened?" He asked.
"You don't remember do you?" She said quietly. He slowly shook his head no.
"I remember a scream, blood was everywhere and that's all." He added.
"Magma tore the bone out of my leg with his fire claws."
Optimus gasped and his optics went, but he let Elisa continue.
"Knockout put a brace on my leg so that I could walk again, but I don't need one now as Shockwave created a new bone that is stronger for me." Elisa finished.
"I am glad things are better for you." Optimus said sincerely. "Elisa I am concern for you safety." He said again.
"You shouldn't. You're an autobot after all." She said slightly bitter making Optimus blink in surprise at her tone.
"Elisa you know things don't have to be this way." Optimus insisted getting closer to her. "Megatron crossed the line a long time ago, but now he has you and Phoenix. I do not want to kill the only parent you have." He explained. Elisa looked over him, unsure of what to say.
"Why should I believe you?" She demanded.
"Because you are not a decepticon."
"I was born a decepticon and I will always be a decepticon!" Elisa snapped.
"No, you're not Elisa. I know who you are. You have your morals from Megatronous." Optimus said.
"My carrier is Megatron, not Megatronous!" She protested, stepping away from him.
"How do you know who Megatronous is?" Optimus asked curiously.
"None of your business!" She snapped and tried to push him away, but he didn't even budge due to his large mass and Elisa yelped in surprise when she stumbled and fell, but when Optimus went to catch her he missed and nearly fell on top of her. She blinked in surprise at how close he suddenly was to her and she shivered when his fingers suddenly traced over her face.
"I know you're afraid for him. Any child would be afraid for their parent. Please Elisa help me end this conflict. I know he loves you more than anything in this world. He will listen to you." Optimus pleaded. Elisa shuddered when his fingers ran down her neck.
"What are you doing?" Elisa whispered unsure of what to do. He leaned into her neck and started to give her gentle kisses making Elisa whimper at the sudden tenderness. She looked at Optimus nervous and confused and afraid of what was going to happen. She didn't want to do this with Optimus Prime no less, but his aurora just drew her to him because it was so strong yet gentle at the same time.
"Elisa…"Optimus whispered drawing her from her thoughts. He couldn't keep his control any longer and finally leaned into her and kissed her. She was hesitant at first, but slowly gave into him and let the pleasure take over. Optimus inched forward and was settled between her legs and she whimpered in his mouth as his panel was getting hot. When they parted from the kiss Elisa was gasping for breath.
"I'm not sure we should do this." Elisa gasped.
"Though I may not see it, with the Matrix I can feel your energy and it makes me desire you so much Elisa." Optimus whispered as he continued to kiss her skin.
"I know and I feel yours too." She moaned. He gently pushed her down and his servos traced over her skin and she moaned at the unfamiliar yet pleasurable touch.
"It's ok Elisa. It's ok, just trust me." He whispered as he continued to touch her.
"I know I shouldn't but I always have." Elisa moaned.
"You are so beautiful Elisa." Optimus whispered.

"I have some interesting news for you." Magma said with a grin.
"Oh really?" Phoenix said unamused.
"SeekGazer saw Elisa with none other than Optimus Prime." Magma announced.
"No way!" Phoenix gasped with her eyes wide and her jaw dropped.
"He fragged her." Magma added.
"Oh dear Primus!" Phoenix gasped before she rolled over in laughter.

"Carrier you know you don't have to do this." Elisa said gently as she felt nothing but anger around him.
"Elisa, I am doing this for you and Phoenix. I told you before I want you to survive." Megatron said calmly without even looking at her.
"If you care so much why not just go back to Cybertron and restore it. The autobots have no way of getting back to it as they have no space bridge. We could leave them on Earth." Elisa suggested.
"I have worked too hard and too long just to let them live. I know this war will not end until Optimus Prime is dead." He said strongly clenching his servo in pride. He turned towards her with a puzzled look. "Why all this protest Elisa?" He asked.
"I'm worried about you." She said gently rubbing his arm in comfort. He gave her a weak smile as he caressed her cheek. "I'm afraid of what would happen if the autobots ever found out about this plan." She added.
"They must already know as I sent Predaking to where Shockwave is getting the power source for the Omega lock." Megatron explained. The statement made her think of a few nights earlier when she met with Optimus. She knew that her carrier could never know about what she did. He would never look at her the same way again and he could even exile her if he wanted to. She could never tell him the truth. "Which reminds me, how had Predaking been towards you?" He asked curiously.
"I haven't seen much of him. I think he's still upset about what happened." Elisa answered. "Any news on Soundwave yet?" She asked.
"Laserbeak has yet to make contact." Megatron answered. The day hadn't started off right as Soundwave had been captured by the autobots and they had been unable to locate his signal for some time.
"So he'll really bring back Ratchet?" Elisa asked nervously.
"I have every confidence that he will succeed."

Soundwave did return with Ratchet and while Megatron went to the laboratory Elisa stayed on the bridge. She did her best not to pay attention to Phoenix as she entered the bridge.
"So was it good?" She called out making Elisa look at him.
"I beg your pardon?" Elisa asked confused.
"Was Optimus a good frag?" Phoenix said darkly.
"What are you talking about?" Elisa lied quickly.
"You know damn well what I'm talking about." Phoenix snapped.
"No I don't." Elisa snapped right back.
"You met with Optimus Prime and you let him frag you." Phoenix said right to her face.
"I would never do something like that! Optimus Prime is an autobot…the leader of the autobots I would never do something like that." Elisa protested. Phoenix growled and Elisa tensed ready for a fight, but they stopped when the doors opened and Ratchet and Megatron entered. Phoenix quickly exited as Elisa stayed behind. She wasn't sure how to react when Ratchet glanced over at her. She saw his optics go to her leg and his face was saddened for a brief moment before Megatron spoke.
"I'm sure you would more fully appreciate a tour of our facilities if you were comfortable." Megatron said and a troop released Ratchet from his bonds.
"How do you know I won't use these to amputate?" Ratchet said as his blades appeared.
"And pass up a chance to see our molescular masking field?" Megatron said unfazed.
"Your cloaking device." Ratchet said curiously as his servos reappeared. "Hmmpf shielding is shielding, high tech or low."
"Perhaps you'll be more impressed by our energon transfusion capacitor." Megatron said bringing the data up on screen. "It allows us to maximize our consumption a thousand fold."
"Decepticon engineering never fails to impress."
"Doctor we may be mortal enemies, but autobots and decepticons do share one common goal. You would like to see the ruins of our devastated home world restored to their former brilliance, as would I." Megatron explained as he brought the picture of Cybertron on screen. Elisa stepped closer to look at it in curiosity.
"Megatron, you would just try to conquer Cybertron all over again and enslave anyone who refuses to pledge allegiance to you." Ratchet protested.
"Of course I would and your comrades would attempt to stop me as ever, but at least we would once again possess a planet worth fighting over." Megatron said proudly.
"Perhaps, but you wouldn't stop there would you Earth would be next if not first. What assurance do I have that you would leave human kind be and that you instantly terminate me once you get what you need?" Ratchet asked. Elisa did her best to remain neutral.
"None whatsoever. After all we both know that as a decepticon any assurances I might offer would be worthless." Megatron said leaning over Ratchet. "But that does not change the fact that you may be Cybertron's only hope of ever seeing life again. He said before leaving. Ratchet looked back at Elisa.
"Perhaps you're seeing Megatron's true colors" He said quietly.
"I know how he works. I understand how this war works, I've got the scar to prove it." She said pointing to her leg making Ratchet turn away.
"Do you really think he's doing it for you?" Ratchet asked cautiously.
"He wouldn't lie to me about something so important. He wants Phoenix and I to survive. That's what he's always told me." Elisa insisted.
"But you don't even trust your own twin anymore." Ratchet argued back.
"No I don't, that's why I watch her carefully. Ratchet I know you don't like my Carrier for who knows however many reasons, but as I just said he's my Carrier. He is all I have and I am more than willing to follow him wherever he leads because I love him." Elisa said sincerely.
"I understand." Ratchet said with honesty.

"But how will we ever know for certain doctor if we do not try."
Megatron pressed the loading dock button to reveal the open view and something else.
"And how can we not try when the means finally lie within our reach."
Elisa stared curiously as Ratchet's optics went wide when they saw the fully reconstructed Omega lock attached to the Nemesis. Troops were still working on the final touches as Elisa saw sparks flying from equipment use and troops moving from one place to another.
"By the Allspark, you've actually done it!" Ratchet gasped.
"Decepticon engineering." Megatron said proudly. "It will not take long for these Omega lock's drives to be fully operational. All that is needed to restore our home is the Cybermatter to launch through it." He explained.
"Which requires a stabilized formula for the production of synthetic energon." Ratchet added.
"I have every confidence in you doctor."
"I'll do it…but then you already knew that didn't you?"
