Kurt sighed laboriously as he returned to his seat on the couch next to Noah, leaning his head on his boyfriend's shoulder. They sat quietly for a few moments, Noah's arms coming to wrap around Kurt and rubbing at his belly.

"I have to pee."

"Seriously babe, you just peed. You haven't even been sitting for 2 minutes." Noah sighed as he unwrapped his arms from around Kurt and stood to help his boyfriend up once again.

"It's not like I enjoy having to pee all the time. As if my back and feet don't hurt enough without having the constant up and down to the bathroom. Not to mention at this point Ms. Riley just thinks I'm using the bathroom as an excuse to get out of Chemistry every day."

"…I mean…isn't it?" Noah asked trying not to laugh at the pregnant boy.

"That is not the point Noah. The point is that I'm sick of spending most of the day in the bathroom. I swear this is almost worse than puking all the time."

"If you say so babe. I thought you had to pee, aren't you going to go?"

"No, the baby moved I don't have to go anymore. I could really use some ice cream though; would you get me some? And maybe a sandwich too, and some chips…" Kurt said as he began lowering himself back onto the couch.

"Sure thing babe," Noah said rolling his eyes and walking towards the kitchen.

He'd just opened the fridge when he heard Kurt yelling at him. "Noooooaaaaahhhhh, I have to pee again!"

Huffing out a breath, he let his head fall forward to knock into the freezer door, before turning back around to help Kurt off the couch once more.

"Thank you," Kurt said quietly once he was standing, pressing a kiss to Noah's chin as he waddled his way towards the bathroom.

Noah watched him walk, telling himself it was to make sure he was steady and not going to fall and not because he thought it was amusing to see his boyfriend unable to walk normally. Once Kurt was out of sight though he made his way back to the kitchen to resume making Kurt's lunch, that he probably wouldn't be hungry for anymore once he got out of the bathroom.

He had just enough time to set the plate with Kurt's sandwich (turkey, provolone cheese, exactly 15 pieces of spinach, and ranch NOT mayo) and chips, along with his bowl of ice cream when the doorbell rang. Like not that he was complaining about taking care of Kurt, because he loved him, but he really didn't need other people bugging him right now too. If he thought that he could get away with it he'd just not answer the door but as he looked longingly at the spot on the couch he'd been occupying when he wasn't helping Kurt up to go to the bathroom, the doorbell went again signaling that whoever was there wouldn't be leaving without being acknowledged first.

Huffing out a breath he made his way to the front door, opening it to find Santana standing on the other side, glancing from side to side as if making sure she hadn't been followed.

"Finally!" She snapped pushing her way past him and dropping into his seat on the couch. "Kurt in the bathroom?"

"Yeah…" Noah confirmed silently mourning the loss of his seat, knowing there was no way he was getting it back the rest of the afternoon.

"When he's out you're going to have to help me up so that I can go, because this baby isn't going to wait much longer. Also, I'm going to need a sandwich and ice cream too, so you can get started on that while we wait." Santana said calmly, propping her feet up on the coffee table and taking possession of the remote, immediately changing it from the football game he had been watching in between doing whatever Kurt asked him to.

Noah stared at her for several beats, unsure how to respond to being ordered around like this. At least Kurt phrased everything like a question, even if Noah knew he wasn't allowed to say no, it would at least look like that to anybody coming in.

"Are you-" he started to ask but was cut off when Kurt made his way back into the room.

"He's back! I need up Puckerman!" Santana demanded holding her hands out for him to pull her up off the couch. "Hurry up if you don't wanna have to clean this couch.

Rolling his eyes to the sky and silently praying for strength Noah helped the girl up because he knew that she wasn't lying about just peeing on the couch if he didn't.

"Don't forget my food either!" Santana demanded over her shoulder as she walked away from them.

"When did she get here?" Kurt asked as he sat back on the couch, attempting to lean forward to reach his bowl of ice cream.

"As soon as I finished making your lunch," Noah sighed handing the bowl to his boyfriend and dropping a kiss to the top of his head. "So naturally she barged in and demanded that I make her lunch too."

"Do you want me to make it for her? If you help me up again I can, I know you've got to be tired after helping me up and down all day, and you already made me lunch and haven't even been able to get yourself anything yet."

"Nah babe, don't worry about it. I'm fine, like you said I've gotta make myself something, so I'll just make hers when I'm making my own." Noah sighed moving the plate next to Kurt on the couch, so he would be able to reach it if he finished his ice cream before Noah made it back with Santana's and his own lunch.

"You're amazing, you know that?" Kurt asked smiling up at him from his seat.

"Yeah you say that now, I'm sure I'll do something to piss you off and change that opinion later though." Noah said smirking back at him before making his way back to the kitchen.

He managed to throw together his and Santana's lunches fairly quickly. He decided to keep it simple for himself, grilled cheese was both easy and kosher. Santana wouldn't be so easily or the last couple weeks she had been refusing to eat anything but wraps for lunch (turkey, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and siracha mayo). He hated himself a little bit for knowing exactly what to make her without having to ask what she wanted, but lately she had been spending more and more time with Kurt and himself, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing considering she was pregnant with their other child, so it was cool to be able to see her more especially since she and Kurt hadn't really be able to be around each other much at the beginning without taking turns puking their guts up. But it still kind of sucked when he was the only one home and got stuck waiting on 2 pregnant people at once when really all he wanted to do was watch whatever game was on and not think about any of his imminent responsibility.

"Puuuuuuuuuck where's my food? Your guys' kid is starving here so I needs me my wrap and I needs it now." Santana yelled, apparently back from the bathroom again.

Trying not to think about how even after the babies were born he wasn't going to be able to sit and enjoy a football game or really any activity probably for the foreseeable future Noah gathered up his and Santana's lunches and headed back to the living room, silently handing her plate to her and lowering himself onto the floor in front of Kurt, since the two of them had spread out across the couch, not leaving any room for him by them other than the floor.

"Santana put kitchen nightmares on, is that okay? Was your game finished? I know you really wanted to watch it today…" Kurt asked apprehensively, stroking a hand over Noah's mohawk.

"S'fine." Noah mumbled taking a bite out of his sandwich, trying not to think about how great a cheeseburger would taste right now. He'd promised his nana that he would be better about eating kosher and cheeseburgers were not kosher no matter how delicious they were. Plus he figured she probably had a point with the whole kosher thing, it's not like he hasn't got enough going against him in the sin department right now considering he's not even 18 and he's managed to get not one but 2 people pregnant without marrying them, plus the plethora of other shitty things he's done, he should at least make an attempt to be a good Jew even if the only thing he can really do right now is make sure he sticks to kosher meats and doesn't mix it with dairy when he's eating it.

Noah stays mostly silent as he works his way through his sandwiches picking at the carrots and shit he threw on his plate to stop Kurt from complaining that his lunch wasn't healthy enough, Kurt giving him a head massage the entire time and not saying a word about the fact that he isn't eating the healthy part of his lunch at all.

Then, just as he's starting to feel like he might drift off for a nice afternoon nap:

"Noah, I have to pee again." Kurt whines pathetically.

So, I know it's short but hopefully you enjoy it all the same. I promise I'm really trying not to give up on any of my stories. Once I've taken the time to post them online I'm pretty committed to finishing them even if it does take forever and a day. Unfortunately, as much as I would like to spend all my time working on my stories it more often than not has to take the back burner in favor of other responsibilities. 2017-2018 was a crazy time for me and I apologize that you've had to wait me out in this, but I've gone through 2 cross country moves worked 20 hour days from the necessity of having 2 jobs for a while and then gone back to school full time on top of working a full time job, so in the very little bit of free time I have where I'm not stuck studying (or still unpacking) I've been so completely burnt out that it's a struggle for me to find any speck of creativity to channel into my stories and produce anything that is close to resembling something I'd feel comfortable publishing.

I sincerely hope that you're sticking through this with me, even though I know it's been a stupid amount of time at this point but if you're still reading know that I will finish this eventually (who knows maybe 2019 is my year to finish my WIP stories) and I hope that you'll continue on this journey with me because at this point I'm just as in the dark about what's going to happen next as you are.

Love always,

Emily Rai
