As soon as this arc is done, I shall do finally finish the Pooka arc. I don't know if you guys have been waiting for it or not, but once I'm done with the Masters of Winter, I shall write two more one-shots for that other arc. Okay, you can read the story now!

"We're lost, aren't we?"

River huffed as he and Jack hunched over the map. The girls both looked at one another with exasperation on their faces. Ash had pointed out they had passed the boulder that looked like an elephant FIVE times. And Scarlett was the only one willing to say anything.

"We are not. We are exactly where we need to be," River argued. Scarlett cocked an eyebrow.

"Where are we then?" Ash asked. Jack flushed while River just groaned and handed the map to her. "Seriously? Guys, the map is upside down."

Scarlett laughed as both guys ducked their in defeat and just let Ash lead the way. Out of the four of them, she was the one who connected with nature the most and that gave her a better sense of direction than most spirits.

"Are we there yet, Red?"

"No, Jack, we aren't."

"Ash…."

"No, we are still not there yet, Jack."

"What about-"

"Not you too, River! If you keep this up, Scarlett and I will leave you two behind!"

"Okay, now we're here!" Ash exclaimed as the four Seasonals finally made their way to Lake Avernus in southern Italy. "It's said to be the true entrance to the Greek underworld."

"Is that true? Are the Greek gods actually real?" Scarlett asked. It was a valid question. She was the youngest of the Seasonals and and been a spirit for only a short while. Jack took it as an opportunity to tease her.

"Said the Spirit of Autumn," Jack joked. Scarlett blushed her infamous crimson blush before glaring at her boyfriend. "I'm kidding!"

"Calm down, lovebirds. And yeah, they are. Hades is weird but his wife is pretty nice," River commented. Ash nodded in agreement as they all reached the edge of the lake. "Now what?"

"Now we hope Hades is in a good mood and actually lets us in. Otherwise…" Ash stopped talking as she caught herself. She was going to say 'otherwise, we'll probably drown' but realized Jack might not like that. "Otherwise, we're just going to rely on our powers to get to the entrance."

AN: Will they succeed? Why the underworld? And why does the author keep leaving you on cliffhangers? Find out next time.

Kitkat Out!
