"I think I have discovered a way to communicate with Ash," River stated. The others turned to look at the Summer Spirit. Everyone was gathered in the Globe Room, each reading different spell books working to find the best spell to release Sambala from her prison of stone when River broke the silence.

"Really? How?" Jack asked. River smiled as he clasped both of his hands together before he slowly separated, a ball of pure sunlight appearing. "What is that?"

"Watch," was all River said as the yellow yellow turned white before Ash's face appeared. She blinked a few times before her eyes widened upon seeing her friend's faces. Bunny ran over to get a closer look as the others crowded the light.

"River! You perfected your talking sun trick!" Ash exclaimed in a whisper. River nodded in excitement. "You guys have to hurry."

"We know. We figured out what he's planning. He wants to use you to take his place so he can leave his prison permanently," Scarlett said, also whispering in case OMW could hear her and the others.

"No, really?" Ash replied sarcastically. Jack huffed. "We don't have to rescue you, you know."

"I think Bunny disagrees with you," Ash smirked as Jack found the Pooka glaring at him. "When are you guys gonna get here?"

"As soon as we find a spell to free Sambala," Gaia stated. Ash smiled before a crash could be heard in the background. She turned and the Guardians felt worry knotting in their stomach as her eyes widened in both fear and shock. Then her face disappeared, replaced with OMW.

Another crash could be heard, causing River's sunlight to fade for a second before it zoomed to show Ash's cage demolished, with her body sprawled on the ground with OMW, who loomed over her.

"Touch her and you die," Gaia threatened. OMW just laughed as he brought a sharp knife made with glass and ice out of his pocket.

"It's nothing personal, kids. But Manny has to pay. And what better way to do that than hurt his beloved Guardians?" OMW looked at their angry yet confused faces. Then he looked at the one he had set his eyes on ages ago. "Time for hope to die."

As the knife sunk into the poor Seasonal's flesh, all hell broke loose.

AN: Duh! DUh! DUH! Wahaha. Little short but next one will be longer. Hey, I'm considering doing a spin-off story (don't know when but sometime in the nearish future) based off of Bunny's Springflower and Autumn's Orphan. What do you guys think?

Kitkat Out!
