Hey guys! I'm back! (I haven't technically been gone but I haven't updated in about *checks the date* a whole week!?
Bunny: You're slacking, sheila.
Jack: *tsk, tsk*
Kitkat: Whatever. Point is, I am here again! Let's get started.
*On the last chapter*
"Touch her and you die," Gaia threatened. OMW just laughed as he brought a sharp knife made with glass and ice out of his pocket.
"It's nothing personal, kids. But Manny has to pay. And what better way to do that than hurt his beloved Guardians?" OMW looked at their angry yet confused faces. Then he looked at the one he had set his eyes on ages ago. "Time for hope to die."
As the knife sunk into the poor Seasonal's flesh, all hell broke loose.
As soon as the knife dug into Ash's skin, she gasped in shock instead of pain. It hadn't hurt; instead she just felt a chill shoot through her body. She sat up and shook her head as she tried to get the strange ringing noise she now heard out of her head.
"What? You should have turned to stone!" OMW yelled as Ash looked at him, seemingly unfazed. Bunny let loose a sigh of relief before he stomped his foot against the ground. Though he knew North and Gaia would get the others here, he didn't feel like waiting. He had to get to her.
As soon as he broke through the earth, he punched OMW in the gut before Bunny turned his attention to Ash. "Are ya alright?"
"Yes. I feel fine," Ash replied. Then she sawit and her eyes widened. Bunny look to the direction she had been staring at and he muttered a curse under his breath. Where Sambala had once stood, only small pieces of stone remained. "Where…?"
Just as Ash spoke, a portal opened and North along with the others came running through. "You're dead!" Jack yelled as he aimed his staff toward OMW. Surprisingly enough, he paid no attention to the Guardians who now formed a protective circle around the Spring Spirit.
Instead, the former ruler of Winter just sat on the ground, his eyes locked on the last spot he had seen the Snow Queen. The knife hadn't worked. Ash hadn't been harmed or magically bonded to the mountain.
"How could you?"
Everyone turned to the entrance to the cave. There stood a woman with skin the color of snow, lips the color of rosebuds, and pale blonde hair with icy blue tips. She wore a gown similar to Elsa (Disney's Frozen movie which I do not own!) and a look of both horror and disappointment. OMW ran toward her, but she raised a hand to halt him in his tracks.
"How could you do that? How could you harm an innocent woman who couldn't defend herself? How could you be willingly to take the love of someone else's life away like I from you?" at this point, Sambala was crying as she spoke. She had waited centuries to be reunited with her beloved only to find a cruel shell of the man she once knew.
Jack broke from the circle, and turned a deaf ear to his friends as he walked towards the two beings of Winter. "Um, excuse me? I'm Jack, Spirit of Winter. What's going on?"
Sambala turned and smiled sadly. "I was taken by Pitch after having to be turned to stone so I would not melt. And while I was away, I see Henry has hurt other people in hate. I do apologize. Trust me when I say I'll have a long conversation with him while we're trapped here."
This time it was Gaia's turn to look confused. Until realization dawned on her. "The knife worked on you, not Ash. It may have reversed Manny's spell, but now you're both bound to this mountain."
"No. No, please. Sambala, I wanted to have you back. And it was Manny's fault! His Guardians should pay!"
AN: Little short, but still works. I'm kind of tired of this arc. Are you guys still reading this or waiting for the arc to be done? Tbh, I do that sometimes. I just wait so I can skip the boring old arc. Let me know what one-shot you want after this arc is over (only one more chapter after this, I promise) and then I'll the second half of the Pooka arc. Remember that? It'll only be a chapter long. Let me know!
Kitkat Out!
