Alright, based on the reviews I have received from Winxgirl, Jacqueline4602, SugaBunBun, and Musical Frost, this is the order I have decided to do things. The last four are most likely going to be arcs of their own, hence the reason they are last.

Abby chases Bunny around and this time Jack DOES have a camera.

Now onto the one-shot!

Abby didn't really understand what had been going on in the Bennett's house lately. First, a bunch of weirdos break-in. A big man with a lot of hair on his face and a big belly, a short yellow man, a bird woman, a boy with a lot of blue and white colors who had a wooden stick, and a tall bunny.

While she may not have been born and raised as a hunting dog, she was a were originally bred to "hunt fast prey, like rabbits and hares, as well as foxes".

So no one could really blame her for trying to protect her wards (otherwise known as Jamie and Sophie) from the intruders. Nor could anyone blame her for giving in to her instincts to chase the rabbit, even if he was six foot one with nerves of steel and a master of Tai Chi.

When the intruders returned a few days later, Abby decided to observe them. After all, her older ward had let them in via the window. If he trusted them, then maybe she should as well.

The bunny had seemed to have learned his lesson and kept his distance, as did the rest of the strange bunch. Except for the boy with the stick. He pet her and sat down beside her. In an attempt to get a closer look, she sat on his lap to stare at his face. He had what humans called a smile and had a strange look in his eyes. No matter how hard Abby tried, she just could not figure out what the look meant.

Until his next visit, that is.

Eventually, Abby learned the names of all the beings, as both her wards said them frequently enough when talking to each other or the bigger wards (aka the parents). 'Sandy' was the yellow man, 'Tooth' was the bird, 'North' was the hairy guy, 'Bunny' was the bunny which made learning his name the easiest. And the boy Abby couldn't figure out was 'Jack'.

Jack came over one day while the wards were asleep and picked Abby up. She wasn't too keen on leaving her wards, but the boy told her he'd give her a treat. And Abby loved treats.

She loved them so much she let the Jack boy carry her and leaped out the window. She loved them so much she didn't try to wriggle away back to the ground nor did she claw the boy for scaring her.

After what seemed like three years (dog years of course), the boy finally landed in a warm, daytime place. That confused Abby to no end. The yellow ball in the sky disappeared every when the shiny white ball in the sky appeared. And then it was forever until the yellow ball returned. So how did the yellow ball come back so quickly this time?

She tried to ask the boy but he only hummed back before setting her down carefully. Then he pulled something shiny out of his blue fur (Jack's hoodie) and Abby shrunk away when she saw what it was.

The object that every dog knew and feared: a dog whistle! That thing was pure evil! Yet the boy placed it by his snout and blew. Abby tried to ignore the sound, but it was too late. She started to bark to try and drown out the sound when suddenly it stopped. Anxious barks turned into angry ones as she yelled things so horrible the author couldn't even type them up.

That's when the bunny appeared out of nowhere, just like the yellow ball. He was yelling and storming towards her. So Abby did what Abby did best: she chased him.

She chased him for what seemed like ages, Abby bounding throughout the weird place with strange white objects and big rocks and water that looked funny. All the while, Jack kept pace with her, helping her chase the bunny.

He held a black thing that had a white light (dogs can't see red) blinking and had it aimed at the bunny sometimes and her at other times. Abby wasn't sure what it was, but she didn't care. She had to teach the bunny a lesson.

Later, when she got tired and decided to rest on the nice grass, she didn't understand the words coming out of either of the strange individual's mouths. Abby didn't know what blackmail was. Was it paper that the terrible bell-ringer brought, but black instead of white? (Bell-ringer = mailman). What was revenge? Was it a new kind of treat?

Jack was true to his word and gave Abby a bunch of bunny-shaped treats. She devoured into them, occasionally looking up at the bunny who had stayed a little ways away from her ever since she sat down.

And that is how Abby taught the bunny not to mess with her. And how Jack got blackmail material against Bunny.

AN: So I know the camera was for the golden carrots, but I think Jack also wished to have it while Abby chased Bunny in the movie. It just sounds like him, doesn't it?
