To Boxkid….you are good. Or I'm just bad at making up puzzles. Maybe both. Yes it is one of the books that L Papadopoulos is in. I won't spoil anything for anyone who reads any of Rick Riordan's books so I won't say which book. And yes, those trailers were so brilliant! Now this is going to be short and will be based only on the beginning of the film.

Darkness. That's the first thing I remember. It was dark and it was cold. And I was scared. But then….then I saw the Moon. It was so big, it was so bright! It seemed to chase the darkness away.

And when it did, I wasn't scared anymore.

Why I was there, what I was meant to do, that I'd never known. And a part of me wonders if I ever will.

I woke up in a children's hospital to come face-to-face with a doctor. Doctor Manny Moon, to be exact. The doctor told me that my name was Jack Frost. But that was all he ever told me. I never saw the man again. When I woke up again, there was a different doctor who looked confused when I asked about Moon. He said there had never been a doctor by that name.

*Three Years Later - Jack is now 19*

"Come on, Wind! Let's go home!" a young boy with brown hair aka Jack cried as he ran ahead of a young girl with blonde and pink-streaked hair with sky-blue eyes along the streets of Burgess. Her true name was Wendy, but Jack had shortened it to Wind since she was as wild and bipolar as the actual thing.

"Wait for me, Jack!" Wind cried as she tried (and failed) to catch up to the older boy. She had grown up on the streets until she met the newly released patient with amnesia aka Jack. He was too old for the orphanage but he'd found a job as an ice sculptor and had a neat little apartment the two lived in now.

Shortly after the duo had moved in they had met their new neighbors, a friendly albeit crazy bunch. Nicholas St. North (North), a Russian immigrant who ran a toy shop with all handcrafted items, Sanderson ManSnoozie (Sandy), a Sleep Specialist, E. Aster Bunnymund (Bunny), a painter, and Toothiana Queen (Tooth), a dentist. They all lived in their own homes of course but spent most of their time together.

Locals called them 'Guardians' because of how charitable the group of friends were and because of how they looked after all the children in Burgess. And that included Jack and Wind. As a matter of fact, those two were the group's favorite kids.

"Jack! Wind! Dinner's ready!" Tooth called out. After it was discovered that Jack and Wind only really ate Ramen or easy to make stuff, Tooth had insisted that they eat dinner at her place every Tuesday and Thursday. Mondays and Fridays were at Bunny's, Wednesdays and Sundays were at Sandy's, and Saturdays were at North's.

"We're coming, Tooth. We may have to wait for Wind since she's so slow," Jack teased as he approached the door. Tooth shook her head and pointed at the boy's bare feet. "What? Shoes are too clingy."

"I am not slow!" Wind huffed as she made her way past Jack and ran inside the apartment building. "You're bigger so it's not fair!"

"Jack, how many times must I tell you to quit running with no shoes on?!" North scolded. Jack rolled his eyes as he plopped down into his sit. Bunny smacked the back of his head as he sat besides the boy.

"North, ya oughta know by now he won't wear shoes," Bunny helped Wind into her seat as he gave North a 'you really thought he would listen to you?' look. Sandy nodded his head in agreement.

"Enough about boring Jack. I beat him at a snowball fight!" Wind exclaimed proudly. Tooth smiled at her encouragingly as she scooped the girl a big helping of mashed potatoes.

"Oh really?" Tooth asked knowingly. Jack crossed his arms and muttered something about the sun being in his eyes. "Well, you must be very hungry after beating him. Eat up."

AN: Kind of short but I thought it was sweet. Next up is Jack's Fear of Fire.

Kitkat Out!
