Hello again! I wish you all have a fantastic week! If not, hopefully, this will help.
"Something weird is happening."
North turned around to see Scarlett holding Jack. But instead of him looking like a little baby, he looked to be three or four years old. "What happened?"
"I don't know. I put him in his crib last night and woke up to find him like this. It happened the night before too. He's aging really fast," Scarlett replied.
"Hmm. It's been about three days since Jack transformed. I think he ages a year per day. Right now he is most likely three," North deducted. It made sense, though who knew how long this would continue. "I've almost finished the antidote. Give me one more day."
Scarlett conceded. After all, she'd babysat Sophie and Jamie plenty of times. So how hard could it be to babysit a three-year-old Winter Spirit?
'Why me?' Scarlett thought as she sat frozen to her seat while Jack froze everything in her bedroom at North's. "Come on, Jack. Do you know how hard it's gonna be to unfreeze all this without damaging it?"
"No care," Jack replied as he struggled to hold his staff as he made it start snowing. Scarlett shivered. She tried to use her Autumn powers, but only the Spirit of Summer could melt Jack's snow.
"You gave me that!" Scarlett exclaimed as Jack got his hands on a bracelet Jack had given her a few weeks ago. It was a gold charm bracelet with a snowflake and an autumn leaf as well as a heart and a pink opal (her birthstone). Jack stopped messing around an examined the piece of jewelry.
Then he toddled over to Scarlett and put the bracelet on her lap. "For you."
"Thanks," Scarlett muttered. It was still kind of cute though. That didn't mean she wasn't going to yell at him once he was back to normal about her room. "You're lucky you're so cute."
"I know," Jack said in such a nonchalant way that Scarlett couldn't help but laugh at the boy.
"I have finished- what happened?!" North walked in and his eyes went wide when saw the mess Jack had made. "Are you alright?"
"I will be when I get out of this chair. So turn him back please," Scarlett watched as North bent down and gave a small cup to Jack. The boy drank it hesitantly and started to cough when he was done. Then a puff of blue smoke surrounded him. When it cleared, Jack was once again his teenage self.
He looked around and smiled sheepishly as he ruffled his hair. He winced at the look Scarlett gave him. "I'll unfreeze everything. Promise."
"Good. You can start with me."
Jack spent the rest of the day unfreezing everything and listening to the Guardians talk about how cute he was. They weren't going to let him forget this for a long time.
As he did that, Phil held baby Jingle as he waited for North to feed him the potion. A baby elf could lead to a lot of trouble. Like the sleigh getting painted blue. Phil had no clue how he was going to explain that to North but he knew the Russian wouldn't take it very well.
AN: Next up will be the chapter about Jack getting kidnapped. Did you guys like the chapter?
