Sandy: *crosses arms*
Kitkat: Quit pouting. Now onto the story!
Rumpelstiltskin was not a happy dwarf. Everyone in the Spirit Realm knew better than to mess with him or try to back out of a deal. That's why he was so surprised when North actually agreed to hand over that icy brat. He should have known better.
But he never thought they'd find a loophole. Rumple was always so careful. He reviewed his deals, his contracts, for hours every night to prevent things like loopholes from happening.
So he found an ally in Pitch Black. They had watched Jack and the kids that one Halloween night, gathering what information they could. The plan was to attack the boy while he was alone. No witnesses meant no rescue. After all, why would the Guardians suspect Rumple? Sure they might suspect Pitch but as long as Rumple was there, no one could hurt the Boogeyman.
Then that dreadful Cupid girl got involved. Pitch's contract had said he could quit this mission anytime he wanted. Needless to say, Rumple now regretted allowing that condition. Especially since Pitch decided to spend more time with his lady friend and less time on being evil and whatnot.
'I guess I'll have to do this myself,' Rumple thought grumpily as he leaped on Jack's bed. He placed a hand on the Winter Spirit's shoulder and snapped his fingers. If anyone had been there, they would have seen a puff of black and red smoke surround the two beings before they vanished.
Phil was not happy a happy yeti. First North made him set the table up. Then he had to go make breakfast. Then he had to go fetch Jack for said breakfast. And on top of that, Jack was nowhere to be found.
"What do you mean he's not there?" North asked. Phil grumbled before repeating himself. "That cannot be right."
Phil followed North as he barged into Jack's empty room. The yeti leaned against the wall as his friend opened the window to see if Jack was outside. He was growing to worry about the boy as North frantically turned the Pole upside down looking for him.
So when the Guardians had been summoned as well as Scarlett and none of them knew where Jack was, Phil started to panic. Just a more so when he found a note under Jack's pillow.
