Chapter Twenty-Three
Jasper brings me tanning lotion while I am laying on my stomach enjoying the sun and I hear the sounds of Emmett and Matthew wrestling in my house. I caved in letting Jasper bring the family along, but only the Cullen children decided to come. I peak up from my chair to see Bella and Edward are canoodling in the ocean and Alice is walking the beach with Rosalie. The island is as beautiful as when Jasper first brought me here and told me that we own it. I smile when I feel the cool hands of my loving husband rub the tanning lotion on my back gently.
"I do not want this beautiful skin to burn," Jasper purrs.
"You forget that I am already dark as is," I giggle. Jasper sits on the side of the lounge chair to give me a massage, but it is not an innocent one. His finger tips graze the side of my breast as he runs his hands up and down my back, letting them hint at a grab at my butt. I groan at the feel and the thought of making love to my husband right here on the deck. Jasper leans down to nibble on my ear and it sends a shiver down my spine to my core.
"I am dying to have you," Jasper whispers into my ear.
"Behave, Mr Hale," I moan.
"How can I behave with a wife as beautiful as you, Mrs. Hale?" Jasper chuckles.
"Stop groping my sister out here," Matthew snips from inside the house. I giggle when Jasper slowly releases me and then walk out to the water. There is a crash from inside and it makes me concerned. I tie my top back on to walk inside to see what the noise is, only to find the boys have created a large hole in the hole of my living room that is connected to the master bedroom.
"I am going to kill you both," I growl. Emmett and Matthew laugh as I chase them around the house. I grab a pillow to throw at them, but I am slow next to their vampire speed. We end up running outside, straight into the water, and that is where I catch them. Matthew and I fall into the water with laughs while Emmett looks for a way to escape. I can hear everyone else laugh at our play fight and then realise how far out we are from land. Alice holds out a towel for me once we reach the beach, but Matthew grabs it before me.
"Well, what are you two going to about my wall?" I ask.
"We can have someone come in and fix it," Emmett chuckles.
"Em, there is no one that wants to come out here," I snort.
"I will fix it," Matthew sighs with a smile. I realise that Jasper is not around and look for him. He is sitting further down the beach, away from everyone and staring out at the water. I walk over with my hands covering my stomach and stand over him.
"Love?" I ask with worry. He remains still and it causes me to panic. I get down on my knees to be at eye level and he turns to me with a small smile.
"I miss them," Jasper says softly. "They loved coming here and oddly they were both conceived here."
"I know, it hurts to be here without them. But, Marcus is watching over them for us," I say softly. Jasper caresses the side of my face gently. I smile as I press my head into his hand. He pulls me closer for a heated kiss that takes my breathe away. A soft moan escapes my lips when he pulls me to straddle his hips and I can feel his stiff rod pressing against my core. I wrap my arms around him as the kiss deepens, but we stop after a few minutes.
"I want you right here and now," Jasper purrs.
"Then take me," I moan.
"I can't," Jasper says. I can see the sadness in his eyes as he says it, but I also see the need he has for me.
"Sweetie, what is wrong?" I ask.
"Rose is right about us always leaving here with you pregnant. I don't want us to leave here with you pregnant after our youngest children left us. I don't want them to feel like they are being replaced," Jasper says, as he puts his forehead against mine. "Also, my siblings are here on the island with great hearing and you are not quiet."
"I am not that loud," I gasp. Jasper pulls me closer with a small smile. "Love, you should worry too much about this. We will be alright, besides we want hundreds of kids anyway."
"I remember," Jasper chuckles. I wiggle my hips a little to hear my lovely husband hiss a bit and makes me smile. "Behave, Mrs. Hale."
"How can I behave with a husband as handsome as you, Mr Hale?" I giggle to repeat what he told me earlier. Jasper pulls me flush to his chest and down against his hips so I can feel his full length as stiff as a board. "My goodness, someone needs to help you out on your stiff friend."
"I can think of a few things that could help," Jasper purrs. "But, we should get back before someone comes looking for us. I am sure it is going to make you upset if someone was to interrupt our alone time."
"Well, you are going to be upset to hear that your brother and mine created a nice hole in our wall between the living room and the master bedroom," I say. Jasper leans back to look at me as if I am joking. "I am not kidding, love. There is a nice hole in our wall."
"Well, we are staying out here to have our alone time tonight," Jasper says with a wicked smile. Jasper stands up with me still in his arms and he walks us back to the house to see everyone is inside in the living room watching a movie.
"I thought we would not be seeing you two until late tonight," Matthew teases, as we walk inside.
"Why? Planning on making more holes in my house?" Jasper asks. "You want something to drink, darlin'?"
"No, I am okay," I say sweetly. "So, what are we watching?"
"Something stupid and girly," Emmett groans. Rosalie glares at him and he smiles sheepishly. Jasper and I sit on the floor with me between his legs and we all settle into the movie, which turns out to be The Notebook.
I open my eyes to see the credits are rolling and I am laying on the couch with a blanket over me. Everyone is outside with a fire going on the beach and I shuffle out there to join everyone. It is odd that I am now the only one that requires sleep and food. Jasper opens his arms for me to curl up in them and continues to talk to his siblings about what is next for everyone.
"We are thinking of going to live in Boston with Carlisle and Esme. You two should join us," Edward says. I know this routine, move to a new place to make people think we are humans that move around a lot. But, I am not sure how long I would enjoy that.
"Matthew and I are going to be joining them as well," Alice says to reassure me.
"I am not sure if I am ready for all of that. What about the twins and Manny?" I say.
"Well, Manny and Nessie are going off on their own together. The twins are welcome to join or remain in Forks with Charlie," Bella suggests. Charlie would take the twins in a heartbeat, but I know they are wanting to join the Volturi to be with their younger siblings and grandfather.
"I have a feeling that they will not be wanting to go with us," I say softly.
"They are joining the Volturi," Jasper says. "They left when we came here to the island. I cringe at the share information and the others stare at us in shock.
"Alright, let's go to Boston," I say firmly.
