The kidnapped arc will be about three more chapters after this one. And after this series, I will do a chapter on flashbacks. Then one chapter about the Guardians and their commentary on their movie. And THEN their reactions to AU'S like my genderbent one (I didn't forget you, MOMOtheDOMO). I also didn't forget you, louve-garoue. After these seven or so chapters, I'll do the sequel to chapter eight aka Wooden Beam. Now onto the chapter!
Jack was not a happy Winter spirit. He was getting a little irritated with the number of times his life was in danger ever since he became a Guardian. Though he had to admit Rumple sure did know how to treat a guest.
When he woke up, it was in a large room and on top of a really soft bed with blue covers. He had a giant plasma TV with an Xbox, PS4, Wii U, etc. And a fridge and pantry. As well as some NERF guns and other cool stuff. Get it? Cool?
Anyways, his room was pretty awesome. There was even a giant window that connected to a balcony and a door. An unlocked door. Jack couldn't find his staff, which worried him. He opened the door and walked out of the room. Or at least tried to. There seemed to be some kind of an invisible barrier keeping Jack trapped inside the room.
He tried to leave through the window, but he could only go to the edge of the balcony before he ran into the same problem.
'This is getting weird,' Jack thought as he sat back down on the bed. "Anyone wanna tell me what's going on?"
The TV turned on suddenly. Rumple appeared on the screen. He smiled and waved eagerly. "Hello, Jack. You might be wondering what happened or where you are. The answer is simple; I don't lose.
"I went to the Pole and while everyone was sleeping, I transported you here. I forgot your staff and I'd probably get caught if I tried to retrieve it. As the King of contracts, I hold absolute veto power over all of my deals. I did not appreciate your 'father'," Rumple made quotation marks with his hands and rolled his eyes. "Trying to outsmart me. So I used said veto power to make things right.
"Don't worry; I don't plan on doing anything to you. I supplied some entertainment in your room so you should have everything you need until I need you. You're in a safe and secure location. Though I wouldn't bother to try and figure out where.
"Not even Mother Nature herself knows where you are right now."
After that, the TV turned off. Jack sighed in irritation. He was still kind of tired and couldn't really think of a way out of the situation he was in. Which meant he had to wait for his family to come and save him.
He felt kind of bad though. Scarlett and the others must be pretty worried. Once they got him back they'd probably be overprotective. Or more overprotective than usual.
"This is gonna be a long day," Jack laid back down onto the bed and stared at the ceiling. "Wait. Is it even daytime?"
He looked out the window. It was kind of greyish but there was no stars, no sun, no Manny or anything to tell him what time it was. And there wasn't a single clock or watch (at least none that Jack could see).
"We need to chip the bloke or something," Bunny muttered as he sniffed the air. The Guardians and Mother Nature had split up to try and locate Jack. The fact that Gaia herself couldn't find him had everyone in panic-mode. "Should probably chip all of 'em to be safe."
By 'all' he meant all the Guardians. With the amount of times Pitch and Rumple and every other bad Spirit/Immortal threatened them, it was no surprise Jack had been kidnapped. He probably shoulda seen it coming.
After all, he was a new member of the Guardians. And while he was powerful, his staff helped. Take away the staff and Jack has to depend on himself and not his powers. Jack could do that, of course, but he could only do so much against Rumplestiltskin.
Everyone in the Spirit world knew of his strength. He had collected so many magical items, gotten so many powers, so many advantages, with his deals.
And it made Bunny sick to think that Jack had been taken by that annoying and soon to be dead/very badly beaten dwarf.
AN: In case you didn't notice, every chapter of the Kidnapped series will start with _ was not a happy _. Also, we are getting close to our one-hundredth chapter of this story!
