Hey guys. It's been a week or so and for that, I apologize. Work's been a little hectic. But here's the update! Hopefully, on Wednesday and Thursday (my off days) I can write a little more and finish this arc and the other requests.
North was not a happy Guardian. His son was kidnapped in his home while he was there. And he didn't even notice.
To say North was feeling guilty was an understatement. He had worked so hard to make Jack feel safe only for Rumple to come and undermine everything the Russian had ever said or done.
"Where is he?!" North slammed his fist on his work table. He had replaced his ice sculptures with a map of all known spirit beings locations. Tooth placed a hand on his shoulder.
"We'll find him. Rumple can't hide Jack forever."
"Yeah. And then we'll beat his bloody arse," Bunny added. Tooth smacked his shoulder. "What? We are doing that, right?"
"Of course we are," Gaia replied. Scarlett looked over at her before she stepped to the side, putting some distance between the Autumn Spirit and Mother Earth.
"Guys, we can worry about giving the dwarf what he deserves later. Let's focus on finding Jack. Where haven't we looked?" Scarlett asked. No one said anything for a few seconds before Phil cleared his throat. "Yes, Phil?"
Instead of speaking, since half the people in the room didn't speak Yeti, Phil walked over and pointed at one spot on the map. It was the only place they hadn't checked. And for good reason.
The entrance to the Dream Realm, which was located in Tristan da Cunha. Only immortal had ever gone into said Realm and came back. He wasn't exactly the Guardian's favorite guy.
"Do we have to ask him?"
"Who said we were going to ask?" Bunny responded. Sandy shook his head and shrugged. They had no choice.
Pitch Black was their only way of getting Jack back. To say the Guardians were desperate was an understatement, to say the least.
The Boogeyman felt a shiver run up his spine and he ate dinner with Cupid, his girlfriend. Read Chapter 80: Love from a Distance if this makes no sense.
"What's the matter?" Cupid asked when she saw Pitch's confused look on his face. He took a moment to respond.
"For some reason, I get the feeling I have to do something unpleasant soon."
AN: Short but an update. Two chapters left. They'll hopefully be longer than this.
