Chuck Norris fact of the day . . .
They say it takes two to tango, Chuck did it alone . . .
The annual Suna Dance Contest was held today, sponsored by the Suna Times.
All dances were welcomed, from ballroom to breakdance, to traditional to modern, to Macarena to Gangnam Style.
The only thing that was required in the contest was that each entrant must have a partner or partners for their dance routine, because dancing by yourself can sometimes get a bit weird for the audience and the judges.
And guess who the head judge was!
Gaara, my dear journal! It was Gaara.
He was joined by a few notable people in the Suna arts & entertainment industry. (Yes we have one of those.)
You would not believe how many fan girls came out for the event.
And although they did have partners, their eyes were glued on Gaara for most of their dances.
Plus with the skimpy outfits they were wearing, it was like they were trying to entice Gaara to pick them as his potential date. (How sad.)
No wonder most of the all-male teams placed higher than the mixed couples and the all girl teams.
As for Kankuro . . . he was out on the prowl, trying to get any girl's number at the event.
He actually walked out with quite a few numbers.
And a few he didn't want to get. (You gotta love the grandmas. Cougar alert!)
As for me, I actually learned a few dance moves from the event. It was very educational.
