A Fresh Start

Chapter Ninety-Nine

It took less than ten minutes for Jeffrey to get to the Beacon. After he parks, he turns to Sam and asks. "Are you ready?"

"Are we going in the front?"

"That's up to you."

"Would you think I'm a coward if I said I don't want to face her?"

"No." Jeffrey says, opening the car door. Getting out, he walks around the car. Opening Sam's door, he helps her out before he reaches for the luggage.

"You don't have to bring it all." Sam says. "Just bring the black bag."

"Okay."

"And the makeup bag."

"Okay."

"And the small black suitcase."

"Anything else?" Jeffrey asks, grabbing those bags as well as his.

"Yes, let me help." Sam says, reaching for one of the bags.

"Sam."

"My arms not healing so I can carry some of the bags." She says, taking the makeup bag and the small black suitcase.

"Alright, shall we." He says, nodding towards the Beacon.

"I'll follow you." Sam says, as Jeffrey walks away from the car.

Jeffrey walks around to the side of the hotel with Sam following behind him. When they reach the side, they walk up a ramp to a door. When they reach the door, it opens and one of the bellmen is there waiting with a cart. "Mr. O'Neill." He says, taking the luggage and putting it on the cart. "Mrs. Winslow asked me to be here waiting for you."

"Oh, okay." Jeffrey says, looking at Sam.

"She didn't want you to have to carry your bags up to the room, if you will follow me." He says, walking down the hall with Jeffrey and Sam following behind him. He looks towards the lobby and then continues on.

Stopping in front of an elevator, he pushes the button and then turns to face the direction of the lobby. A few moments later, the doors open and they step on. Pushing the button for the third floor, Sam moves back to the back corner with Jeffrey standing beside her and the bellman on the other side. They ride up in silence until Jeffrey asks. "Haven't I seen you before?"

"I've been here since the Beacon opened, Sir."

"No, it's from somewhere else." Jeffrey says, watching him.

"I used to work at the palace in San Cristobel. When Mr. and Mrs. Winslow left I decided to leave as well." The man replies.

"Of course, that must have been where I saw you." Jeffrey says, as the elevator opens and the bellman pushes the cart out followed by Sam and Jeffrey. "Your room is right this way." He says, walking down the hall. Jeffrey and Sam follow him until they reach the end of the hallway.

"You'll be staying in the Winslow suite." The bellman says, turning to them.

"Richard and Cassie have their own private suite." Sam says, looking at Jeffrey.

"No, the suite is dedicated to Richard. It was the only suite finished when Richard died. Cassie was here when Reva pulled the plug on his life support, so Cassie had the room dedicated to him." Jeffrey says, pointing to the small sign on the door as he hands the key to the bellman.

"Oh." Sam says, reading the sign. "The Winslow Suite, dedicated to the memory of Richard George Anthony Winslow the Second."

The bellman pushes the door open and then rolls the cart into the room with Jeffrey and Sam following behind him. "Thank you." Jeffrey says, handing him a tip after he finishes unloading the cart.

"You're welcome and enjoy your stay." The man replies, leaving, and closing the door behind him.

Jeffrey turns to Sam. They watch each other for a few seconds before Sam asks. "Why do I feel nervous?"

"Because we are married now, and it adds a new dynamic to the relationship." Jeffrey says, walking over to her.

"But…."

"Don't worry about it." Jeffrey says, laying a finger across her lips. "I'm sure I can help you relax." He whispers, leaning in to kiss her.

"J." She sighs, moving closer to him as he wraps his arms around her.

He deepens the kiss, softly licking at her lips until she opens them and then slipping his tongue inside to play with hers. They kiss for several moments before Sam takes a step back. "Are you relaxed now?" Jeffrey asks.

"I wouldn't say I'm relaxed, but I ain't nervous anymore." Sam replies, as he takes a step closer to her as she holds up her hand. "Wait."

"Sam, I've been waiting all day."

"Just a little bit longer." Sam says, reaching for the black bag. "I'll be right back." She says, walking towards the bathroom.

"Hurry." Jeffrey says, as she giggles softly, looking back over her shoulder and smiles.

She closes the bathroom door as Jeffrey looks around the room. Slowly, he walks over to the balcony, he pushes the doors open. Looking out at the lake, he watches the moonlight dancing on the water. He's still standing there when Sam comes out of the bathroom. "J." She says, stopping in the middle of the room.

Turning, he stares as she watches him. She had taken her hair down and it is flowing around her in gentle waves. She has on a pink robe tied at the waist, and she is beautiful, more beautiful than any women he had ever looked at, or been with before. Slowly he walks over to her and when he reaches her, he stops. Slowly his gaze washes over her, filling her with heat. "You're beautiful, Beca." He says, as he holds out his hands to her.

She takes a step closer, as he leans in and kisses her. She takes control of the kiss, gently nibbling on his lower lips until he pulls her to him and deepens the kiss. Wrapping her arms around him, she sighs when she feels his body pressing against hers.

He pulls her to him and holding her tightly as they kiss. He moves from her mouth to her neck and up to her ear, softly nibbling on her earlobe. "J." She sighs, closing her eyes and leaning her head over.

After a few seconds she turns her head and begins to kiss him, moving up to his ear. Slowly she runs her tongue around his outer ear before she too begins to nibble on his earlobe. After a couple moments, Jeffrey switches sides as Sam reaches for and begins to push his shirt up his chest, making sure that her fingers are bent so that she is scratching his chest as she works the shirt up. "Sam." He groans and she smiles.

When she reaches his arms, she steps back. He watches her for a few moments, before he pulls his shirt over his head, tossing it to the floor. He reaches for the button on his jeans, but Sam stops him. Replacing his hands with hers, she unbuttons the first button as she steps closer to him, lightly kissing his chest as she reaches for the next button and then the next, working her way down until his pants are undone. Laying her hand on top of his erection, she feels him shiver as he clenches his hands at his side.

Slowly she walks towards the bed with him watching her as he walks backwards. When they reach the bed, she gently pushes him until he falls back across the bed. He immediately leans up to watch her as she reaches for his legs, lifting them she pulls his boots off and dropping them to the floor.

When she stands up, he watches her. Gradually she moves her eyes over him, watching his chest rise and fall as he struggles to control his breathing. "Lift your hips." She commands, leaning over to him.

"Beca."

"Do it." She orders, watching him.

Arching his back, he lifts his hips. Reaching for his jeans, she begins to tug. Leisurely bring them down his legs while he watches her. When she has them at his feet, he kicks them off. Reaching for his feet, she pulls off his socks before she stands up. Again she gradually moves her gaze over his body, starting at his feet and working her way up. When she reaches his hips, she stops. Watching him, until he says, holding out his hand to her. "Beca."

Looking up, she reaches for the belt holding her robe closed. Tugging on the knot, she watches him as she pulls it free and he's able for the first time to see the negligee underneath. Sitting up, he slowly moves his gaze over her, taking in the smooth silk, the deep v-neck and the spaghetti straps and wishing that they would fall, revealing her breasts for him. When he starts to get up, Sam shakes her head.

"Lay down." She commands, moving closer to him

Lying down, he watches as she climbs onto the bed, moving towards him as he sucks in a deep breath and holds it. Kneeling over him, she watches him until he reaches up and lays his hand on her waist. Until that moment she didn't realize how much she wanted to feel his touch. Leaning over him, she kisses him as he reaches up and buries his hands in her hair, pulling her to him. She resists getting closer as she deepens the kiss, slipping her tongue into his mouth, caressing his.

Reaching for her, he begins to pull her negligee up as she moves away from him, moving down his neck, until she reaches his upper chest. As she loves him, she listens to every gasp, feels every twitch. She's completely in tune to with him. When she reaches his navel, she looks up. Watching as she runs her tongue around the rim of his navel before she drips her tongue inside. "Sam, baby." Jeffrey groans, reaching for and clinching the comforter beneath him.

Sitting back, she watches him for a few moments before she decides to kick it up a notch. Moving closer, she settles her hips over him. He can feel the heat burning through her as he arches his back. "J." She moans, when she feels his desire pressing against her.

"Beca, you want me. I know you do." Jeffrey says, in a hoarse whisper, reaching again for her negligee and this time she lets him begin to pull it up as she moves to kneel over him again.

He can only go so far and when he has reached that point, Sam takes over pulling the negligee up. She feels him suck in a deep breath as she pulls the negligee over her head, revealing her body to him. Hot sparks of desire rush through him, making him almost ache as he arches his hips again reaching for her and the freedom of not having anything between them.

Reaching for his waist, she pulls on his boxers. Pulling them down his legs, until she reaches his feet where he kicks them off. Letting his hips fall back to the bed. She looks up. After a few moments she looks at him and then moves over him. "Touch me." She whispers, staring into his eyes.

Little by little, he moves his hands down her body, stopping to caress her breasts, gently pinching her nipples until they are hard pebbles pressing against his hands, the pain and the gentleness of his caress burns through her, as she leans over and kisses him.

Moving on, he lovingly caresses her stomach as he whispers. "I love you little one." He moves on, slipping his hand between her thighs, cupping her desire.

"J." She whimpers, closing her eyes and moving closer to him.

Slipping his fingers into her desire, he begins to caress her. Gently at first and then as he feels her desire building he deepens his caress. "Touch me." He grunts, slipping a couple of fingers inside her.

"J." She groans, reaching for him and wrapping her hand around him.

"Do you feel that Beca. I want you so much, I hurt for you baby." He whispers, deepening her caress.

"I hurt too, darlin." She whispers, closing her eyes and feeling her body spinning out of control. Jeffrey feels it too and he pulls his hand away. "No!" Sam groans, reaching for him.

He looks up and their gazes lock. Moving over him, she reaches for him again, guiding him inside her as she sinks down over his hips. "Ah, Beca." He groans, holding onto her.

"J." She groans, closing her eyes.

"Look at me." Jeffrey whispers, looking up at her.

Slowly she opens her eyes and looks down as she begins to move, sliding back forth as he holds desperately to her hips. After a few seconds, her tempo increases. And then she begins to lift her hips, sinking back down on to him. They both continue to thrust, pushing the other closer to the edge until sharp explosions of the desire flashes through them.

Wrapping his arms around her, he rolls her over onto her back and begins to thrust. He feels her body clinging to his while soft flutters of release wash over her. "Beca." He groans. "Baby, I need you, oh god, I need you." He groans.

"You have me, J. Love me please." She whispers, arching her hips and taking him deeper.

"I feel you baby." He whispers, leaning over to kiss her as he increases his tempo and feels her respond.

"J, yes, yes." She cries, arching her back. Reaching for his hips, she holds him against her. "Oh...love… me." She moans, closing her eyes as deep swells of release rush over her again.

"Yes…Beca. I feel… yes!" He groans. He thrust one more time as hot waves of release swell inside him as he throws his head back, closing his eyes, groaning loudly. When the last wave of desire flows through him, he collapses in her arms.

Rolling to his back, he pulls her to him as he lays his arm across her waist and she lays her head on his shoulder as he whispers. "I love you."

"I love you too." She says, laying her arm across his waist. They lay there for several minutes before she asks. "Did Jeremiah tell you how he heard about the wedding?"

"No, he didn't tell me anything. But he wanted to know how I was going to take care of you, especially since I wasn't there to take care of you in Russia."

"That was beyond your control. I made that decision."

"It was a promise we made to each other. And to be honest I don't know that I could have left you back then, if the roles were reversed. I needed you too much then."

"Do you need me too much now?"

"Yes and no."

"What do you mean?"

"It's different now, maybe because we're older, maybe because we almost lost each other. I need you and I want you and I love you, but back then I thought my world would end if you were not a part of my life. Now I know that I can survive without you in it, I don't want to, but I can survive."

"I don't want to either." Sam replies, snuggling in closer to him.

"And you won't have too, because I'm not leaving you or our little one." Jeffrey says, laying his hand against her stomach. "You know I've been thinking about names for him."

"Him, how do you know it's a boy? It could be a little girl."

"Well, if it's a little girl we're naming it after…."

"We're not naming her Rebeca."

"I like Rebeca."

"I don't and you know it. If we name our daughter Rebeca, then we're naming our son Harland Billy."

"No, we're not."

"Is that why you never said anything about your middle name, because you don't like the name?"

"My middle name didn't matter, everyone knows me as Jeffrey O'Neill. They didn't need to know my middle name." She leans up to look at him. "Okay, so I don't like it. I'm used to being called by my first name. So, what do you think about Aaron James."

She lays there for a few moments, thinking about the name. "I like Aaron, but I think we should name him Aidan Jeffrey."

He lays there for a few moments, thinking about her suggestion. "Aidan Jeffrey, it's okay."

"I want my son named after his daddy." Sam says, lying down beside him.

"What about my little girl, if we can't name her Rebeca."

"I hate that name and you know that."

"I know, but I think it fits you."

"Rebeca does not fit me. And we can't name her Samantha either. What if we named her after your mother?"

"My mom." Jeffrey pauses for a moment before he says. "I think my mom would like that." He pauses again before he says. "We could name her after our mother's and not just mine."

"My mother's name was Merle Jean, and if we name our daughter that, we're naming…."

"We're not naming my son with my middle name. We can name her after my mother and your mother's middle name." Jeffrey says, as Sam sits up. "Where are you going?"

"To the bathroom." Sam replies, getting out of bed.

When she comes back, she crawls into bed, snuggling up beside him as she shivers slightly. "Are you cold?"

"Just a little."

Sitting up, he reaches for the covers and pulls them up. "Here." He says, holding his arms out to her.

Lying down beside him, she snuggles up beside him again, laying her head back on his shoulder. "So, now that we're married are you going to tell me where we are going for our honeymoon?"

"I told you it's a surprise."

"Come on tell me, I want to know."

"I know you do, but it's a surprise. I'll tell you in the morning when we're about to take off."

"We're flying somewhere?"

"Yes, it's not far and we'll be on a private plane and I cleared it with Dr. Sedgwick."

"A private plane, how did you manage that, Reva?"

"No, not Reva. I wouldn't ask her anyway, giving the way Josh feels about me. No, I have an old friend from the agency and he has a private plane and he said that I could use it anytime I needed to so I contacted him and he said he would let us use it and it's flying in tomorrow morning around eleven." Jeffrey replies, as Sam yawns. "Okay, back to our little girls name."

"We're having a little boy."

"Sam."

"Alright, so we can name our little girl after your mother but not my mother's middle name."

"Alright, so it's Michele. We still have to think of a middle name."

"What about Abaigail."

"Why not just Abbey Michele."

"I like that." Jeffrey says, as she yawns. "Close your eyes."

"I'm fine."

"You're tired, come on close your eyes." Jeffrey says, moving to his side.

Putting his arm across her waist, he starts to hum in her ear. After a few moments, she closes her eyes and settles against him. Within a few minutes, he feels her sigh softly.

He lays there for the next couple hours watching her sleep. Reaching out, he begins to stroke the hair lying at her temple as he whispers. "Love you so much Samantha Ann O'Neill. It feels strange calling you that after so long. I know we're going to have the life we wanted all those years ago. We'll raise our kids and spoil our grandkids. I can't wait to grow old with you. I want watch the lines appear on your face from years of being happy. I know you don't want all of that to happen. You don't want to grow old and get gray hair, but I'm looking forward to it, to everyday, watching you, loving you, watching our kids grow up and then our grandkids. And when it's time for one of us to go, I'll know that we've had a full life and that when we both get to the other side we'll be together again." He whispers, leaning over to kiss her.

"J." She mumbles in her sleep.

"Sh, I'm here." He says softly, as she sighs. "You know little one, you're going to have the greatest mom in the world. She's going to take care of both of us. She's going to love you and will always be there for both of us, loving us. It's not always going to be easy. We'll make mistakes, me more than her…."

"I happen to think you won't make as many mistakes as you think you will." Sam says softly.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you. I was having a talk with our little boy or girl."

"I know, I was listening and you give me too much credit and yourself not enough. You'll make a great dad. You'll love him or her. And you'll protect him or her. And he or she will be able to talk to you. I have more to worry about when it comes to parenting than you do."

"Why do you say that?"

"Because of how I was raised, I don't want to be my parents, especially my father. I don't want to manipulate my children, or force my views on them. I want them to learn things on their own and make their own mistakes. I don't want to control them or their lives, and sometimes I'm afraid that I will do that." Sam says, snuggling close to him.

"You won't, you have too much love inside you to intentionally hurt your children."

"You still give me too much credit and yourself not enough." She says, leaning up to kiss him.

When she starts to pull away, he reaches up to stop her. Burying his hands in her hair, he holds her as he deepens the kiss. Pulling away after a few moments, Sam looks up. She sees love and desire shining in his eyes. It's a picture that she will never forget or ever want to live without again. "I love you, so much." She says softly.

"I love you too." Jeffrey replies, laying his arm across her waist and pulling her to him as she moves to her side.

Facing each other, they slowly move their gazes down each other's body. When Sam reaches his waist, she sees how desperately he wants her and she looks up. "We've only been kissing."

"I know. I want you every minute, every hour of every day." Jeffrey says, laying his hand against her breast.

He can feel her heart beating against his hand as her breathing deepens. Flames of desire rush through her. Leaning up, she begins to nibble on his jaw, softly kissing him, as he pulls her to him and whispers. "Do you feel that Beca?" He whispers, pressing his body against hers.

"J." She whispers. "I feel you all the time." She says, slowly running her hands down his body, caressing him.

"I feel you too." Jeffrey replies, caressing her.

Moving closer to her, he leans in and softly nibbles on her lower lip, gently licking it until she responds. Opening her mouth, she sighs softly as he slips his tongue into her mouth and his hand dips below her waist. Slipping between her legs and lovingly caressing her desire as she reaches for him, holding him, as he looks down into her eyes. "You make me almost desperate."

"I know." Sam replies, delicately moving her hand over him, knowing exactly where and how to touch him to bring him the greatest pleasure and heighten his desire.

"Beca, I need you, now!" Jeffrey groans, moving closer to her as she lifts her leg.

Laying it across his hip as he pushes inside her, filling her with his desire and feeling hers cling to his, slowly he begins to thrust as he reaches for her, holding her against him. He continues to thrust, controlling the tempo until she begins to roll her hips, sinking into the rhythm of his hips and adding her own special twist every once in a while until he thrusts once more and then stops, fighting for control, as he feels her body clinch, clinging to his and caressing him. "Beca." He groans, laying his forehead against hers as he struggles to get control.

"Let go." Sam whispers, slowly rolling her hips against his.

"You haven't…."

"I want to watch you be swept away." Sam replies, still moving against him.

He feels his body building up to release and as he's about to be swept over, he reaches for her hips, holding her still as he shakes his head no. "You first." She leans in and softly kisses him. Clinching the muscles deep inside her, she smiles when he gasps. "Sam!" He groans, reaching for her.

"Go on." She whispers, as his grip relaxes and she begins to move against him again. Deep waves of release swell inside him, filling her as he thrusts once. Sparks flash before his eyes, as she reaches for him, holding him against her. His release seems to last forever.

They lay there for a few moments, until he feels his body relax. When he relaxes, he able to sense the desire raging inside her, looking up, he sees how tense she is. Rolling her to her back, he leans up on his forearms, and he begins to thrusts. Slowly at first, and then they feel his body responding, growing inside her. Caressing her desire as she reaches up and slowly she scratches her way down his chest. Her release breaks before either one of them realize that it's coming. Washing over them both quickly, he thrusts again. His release filling him as small waves of desire flutters over Sam's body.

Lying down beside her, he softly nuzzles her neck before he whispers. "Let's go to sleep." Sighing, she moves into his arms. Laying her head on his chest, they each close their eyes, and fall asleep.

Sam is the first to wake up the next morning. Turning her head, she watches him sleep beside her. "He's mine." She thinks, smiling as she reaches for his arm and lifts it and moving it away from his side.

Laying it across her shoulders and she snuggles in closer to him as he mumbles. "Good Morning."

"Hi." She says softly, lightly kissing his chest.

"Did you sleep okay?"

"I slept wonderfully." Sam says, laying her arm across his waist.

"I did too." He replies, turning his head to lightly kiss her forehead. "So are you ready for the first day of the rest of our lives."

"I've been ready, are you?"

"I've been ready."

"When do we have to leave?"

"In a couple hours." Jeffrey replies, as someone knocks.

"I'll get…."

"No, I'll get it." Jeffrey says, pulling away from her as he pushes the covers back. He gets up and reaching for his boxer and jeans he pulls them on as Sam sits up and the person outside knocks again. "Yes, I'm coming." Jeffrey calls, walking towards the door as he fastens his pants. He pulls the door open almost expecting to see Olivia on the other side.

"Mr. O'Neill." The bellman says.

"Yes."

"Mrs. Winslow arranged for you and your wife to have breakfast in the room compliments of her." The man says, pushing a cart into the room as Jeffrey steps back.

"Oh, well okay." He says closing the door behind him as the man rolls the cart into the room. Reaching for his wallet, Jeffrey pulls out a tip, handing it to the bellman.

"Thank you." He says, taking the tip.

"You're welcome." Jeffrey says, holding the door open for him and he leaves as Sam gets out of bed, pulling on Jeffrey's shirt as she walks over to the cart.

"Cassie arranged this." Sam says, taking the tops off the dishes.

"Yes." Jeffrey replies, walking over to her and seeing nose curl. "What is it?"

"The bacon." Sam replies, feeling her stomach turn over.

"Here, hold on." Jeffrey says, taking the platter and walking over to the door. Opening it, he puts it out in the hall and then closes the door behind him. "Better." He asks, turning to her.

"Yes, thank you." Sam replies looking at the other food as Jeffrey walks over to her.

Wrapping his arm around her, he nuzzles her neck before he releases her. "Let's eat." He says, picking up a plate. "But first, you need to get back in bed."

"What, why?"

"Breakfast in bed." Jeffrey says, leading her over to the bed

"Jeffrey, I don't…."
"Shush woman and get back in the bed." He says, teasing her.

"Excuse me." Sam says, looking at him.

"I said, get back in the bed."

"And I don't take…. Oh, you'll be sorry." She says, reaching out to slap him

"I don't think so." Jeffrey says, leaning over to kiss her before he helps her back into the bed and then fills them both a plate before he joins her.

When they are finished eating, he puts everything on the cart and then rolls it out into the hall before he returns to the bed and lying down beside Sam as she asks. "When do we have to leave?"

"We've got about an hour." Jeffrey replies, moving over to her.

She reads the expression in his eyes as he leans in. Laying his hand on her cheek, he gently caresses it before he pulls her towards him. After several seconds Sam leans back and looks up. "You know, we don't really have time."

"Sam." He whispers.

"We don't, but I'll make it up to you." She says, pulling away from him. "Think about the anticipation."

"I hate anticipation." Jeffrey grumbles as she climbs out of the bed.

"Really, you quite enjoyed it last night."

"That is not cool. You can't flirt with me and then not do anything when I try."

"We'll do everything once we're on our honeymoon." Sam replies, leaning over to kiss him quickly before she steps back and walks towards the bathroom, with him watching the sway of her hips he feels his body tighten in response. An hour later, Jeffrey closes the door behind them, leading them towards the elevator and the lobby.

Pushing the button for the elevator, Jeffrey puts his arm across Sam's shoulders and pulls her to him, lightly kissing the top of her head as she puts her arm around his waist. "Are you going to tell me where we're going now?" Sam asks, looking up at him.

"No, I will after we take off."

"What are you afraid of?"

"I'm not afraid." Jeffrey says, as the doors open and they walk on together.

Pushing the button for the lobby, Jeffrey moves back beside Sam who is standing in the corner of the elevator.

"If you're not afraid then why won't you tell me where we're going?"

"I told you I want to surprise you."

"J, you know…."

"You'll like this surprise, I promise." Jeffrey says, leaning over to kiss her as the doors open and Emma walks on.

"Hi Jeffrey." She says, smiling up at him.

"Hi, Emma." He says, stepping back from Sam and looking around for Olivia. "Where is your mother?"

"She's in our room." Emma says, watching Sam.

"Emma, I would like you to meet my wife Sam. Sam, this is Emma Spaulding, Ava's sister." Jeffrey says, turning to Sam.

"Hi." Emma replies.

"Hi." Sam says, holding out her hand. "How are you?"

"Okay." Emma replies.

"You're mom is in the room. Does she know you left?"

"Umm, no. I came out to get something to eat. She's sleeping. She does that a lot lately." Emma says. "Where are you going?" Emma asks, nodding towards the luggage.

"Um, we're going on a trip but we'll be back in a few weeks." Jeffrey replies.

"Oh, okay." Emma says, as the doors open and they walk out.

Emma goes to Olivia's and Jeffrey and Sam walk over to the front desk. About ten minutes later, Jeffrey and Sam leave the Beacon for the airport. Cassie had arranged to have one of the cars from the hotel to take them to the airport instead of driving Sam's car. The clerk at the front desk assured them that the car would be fine in the parking lot, so they leave.

Pulling up to the airport about twenty minutes later, the driver gets out and walks around the car. Opening the door, he waits as Jeffrey gets out and then helps Sam from the car. Putting his arm across her shoulders again, they walk towards the plane. When they reach it one of the flight crew greets them. "Welcome." She says stepping back as Sam climbs the stairs, followed by Jeffrey. Once they are on the plane, she says. "Make yourself comfortable, we'll be leaving as soon as your luggage is on board."

"Thank you." Jeffrey says, following Sam back to one of the cabins

They both sit down as one of the other crew member come up to them. "Will there be anything that you need?"

"I'd like some water." Sam says

"Of course, ma'am, Sir." She says, turning to Jeffrey.

"I don't need anything right now." Jeffrey replies.

"Yes sir." She replies, nodding as she leaves and they settle back into their seats.

The crew member brings Sam the water and then leaves again. A few minutes later, the captain comes over the intercom. "Mr. and Mrs. O'Neill, if you will buckle your seatbelts, we've been cleared for take off."

Reaching for their seatbelts, they buckle up as Sam asks. "Are you going to tell me now?"

"Okay, I'll tell you." Jeffrey replies, settling back into his seat.

"Well." Sam asks, impatiently.

"We're going to Niagara Falls." Jeffrey says, as she looks up.

"You're serious." She says.

"Yes, I booked us the honeymoon suite at one of the bed and breakfasts there and we're going to hang out and see the falls and… well do whatever we want to do." Jeffrey says, smiling.

Releasing her seatbelt, she stands up and moves over to his lap as one of the crew walks up. "Ma'am, we're still climbing. You need to be…."

"It's okay." Jeffrey says, holding up his hand. "I'll take full responsibility if anything happens. Could you excuse us?"

"Of course, Sir." The lady replies, walking away as Sam sits down in his lap and wraps her arms around his neck.

"I am to assume that you like this."

"Yes." Sam says, leaning in to kiss him. "Very much." She says when she leans back.

"Good." He replies, wrapping his arms around her.

"Beside the fact that we were going to go there before, why else did you decide on that spot?"

"Mostly it was because we wanted to go there before and the fact that you never went while we were separated and I know how much you wanted to go."

"We both wanted to go." Sam says.

"Yes, we both wanted to go."

"You said you booked us a honeymoon suite at one of the bed and breakfasts."

"Yes."

"How long have you had this planned?"

"For a while, are you happy?"

"Yes, very." She replies, leaning up to kiss him.

"Good." Jeffrey replies, as the Captain comes back over the intercom.
