Gaara decided to arrange a meeting between me and his newfound flame.
He figured since I was spying on him and the girl all the time, he figured that I should meet the girl face-to-face at least once.
Yeah, he found out I was spying on him.
He knew for a long time.

Yes, the girl's name is Amaya, and she is probably one of the nicest girls I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
She's not one of those sickeningly sweet girls that could easily get on someone's nerves.
She's more like a nice when she wants to be, but a kick-ass girl if you rub her the wrong way kind of person.
In other ways, she's a person I can relate to and get along with just fine.
Anyway, everything went well, which was a relief to Gaara, even though he didn't visibly show it.
But he shouldn't be relieved for long . . .
He still has Kankuro to deal with.
