A Fresh Start

Chapter One Hundred Thirty One

As they walk into the loft, Sam says. "I'm going to take a shower."

"Okay." Jeffrey says, walking into the living room.

Reaching for the remote, he turns the TV on. Sitting down, he tunes into the local news channel, listening to the news, smiling as he hears her start to sing in the shower. After the news goes off, he flips through the channels until she leaves the bathroom, wrapped in a towel. He gets up and follows her upstairs. When he reaches their bedroom, he stands in the doorway watching her. Looking up, she smiles at him through mirror. "What are you doing?"

"I'm watching you." He says, walking into the room as she smiles.

"When do you have to go back to work?"

"Monday." He says, walking over to her and wrapping his arm around her, pulling her back to him.

"So, we have all weekend together."

"Umm, yes. What will we do?"

"I've got to go with Cassie to find a dress. Can you stand to be without me?"

"I think I'll survive as long as you don't get into anymore fist fights."

"Olivia." She says, looking away.

"Hey, I was kidding. She's not going to stop us. She hasn't stopped us."

"I know, but I wish we could come home without having to worry about anything."

"I'm not worried about Olivia. I have you and our baby and my daughter and that is all I want or need."

"What if she tries to do something?"

"What can she do? I'm with you and that will not change."

"But as soon as she realizes that, what if she can't handle it? She'll try to do something to you or our child. I lost you once, I won't loose you again."

"You're not going to loose me and she's not going to do anything to our child, even Olivia won't hurt a child." Jeffrey says, softly kissing her neck, looking up, he sees that she doesn't quite believe him. "Why don't you get ready for bed? I'm going to take a quick shower and then we'll spend the night together and I'll hold you until you believe me." He says, smiling at her

"Okay." She replies, smiling back at him.

He walks over to the chest of drawers and pulls out a pair of boxers and pajama bottoms. She watches him leave and then turns back to the mirror, looking at herself, sighing softly. Picking up the comb, she begins to comb her hair. When it's smooth, she opens a drawer and pulls out a night gown and slips it on. Walking over to the bed, she pulls the covers back and then sitting down, she props up her pillows and leans back against them. She's laying there when he comes upstairs about fifteen minutes later.

Walking over to his side of the bed, he pulls back his covers and then sits down, propping up his pillows. He lays back before he turns to her. "So, will you tell me why you're worried about Olivia, or is it something else that has you upset?"

"You know she's a threat, J."

"She's only a threat if we let her be one. I'm not going anywhere. I have too much to loose if I did."

Sighing, Sam moves over to him. "I don't believe you would ever knowingly leave me. I don't believe you would ever choose her, but I don't trust her and I can't pretend that she's capable of doing something to force this stalemate we're in."

"We're not in a stalemate. She's only a factor in what we do if you let her be. And I'm not Patrick, I will not leave you."

She lays her head on his chest, wrapping her arm around him. "I believed that would never end and it looks like it has."

"You don't know that for sure. Patrick and Megan might be able to work through this."

"Wesley men are notorious for being stubborn, Patrick is no different."

"And Megan is a Whitmere, like you said. She's not going to let him go without a fight. Look at you, you hung on to me and I thought you were dead."

"I didn't have anyone but myself."

"Which was definitely harder, and we are not going to end up like them." He says, kissing the top of her head.

She sits up and turns to him. "I want you to promise me something."

"Alright."

"I want you to tell me if you ever feel like I'm ignoring you. We can't forget to take the time to be together and to talk to each other. If we split up, I don't want it to be because we simply gave up."

"I promise that I will tell you if I feel like we're growing apart. And we'll take the time to talk to each other and take the time to be together and I will not leave you." He says, reaching up and pulling her to him, kissing her.

Leaning back, she looks at him. "I promise you the same things. I won't leave you without fighting for you."

"Good, now can I see my present?"

"Your present?"

"That little bag you won't let me see what's inside."

"I'm saving it for a special occasion."

"This isn't a special occasion?"

She smiles at him as she leans forward. "No, it's not, but we can still have some fun."

"I like you in the cotton gown anyway." He says, leaning up to kiss her.

"Umm, and I like you exactly like you are." She says, sitting back "Well, maybe without as many clothes."

"I think we can change that."

"We can, how?"

Scooting down in the bed, he lifts his hips, pulling his pajamas and boxers down, kicking them off as she moves to kneel over him. "I like that change." She says, leaning in

"You do." He asks, leaning up softly kissing her.

Lying against him, she wraps her arms around his neck, deepening his kiss. Wrapping his arms around her, he pulls her closer, loving the feel of her body lying against his. After a few moments, he pulls back. "I like you in my arms, but I have something better." He says, reaching for the hem of her night gown. Leaning back, she looks down as he works her night gown up. She lifts her arms as he pulls it up and over her head, tossing it to the floor as he stares at her. "Beca." He sighs, reaching out to cup her breasts, slowly moving his thumbs over her nipples.

"J." She sighs, closing her eyes

Both of them feel desire burning through each of them. Leaning into him, she kisses him as he continues to play with her, gently massaging her breasts, loving her with his hands and the heat from his body. Pulling away from him, she moves down his neck, kissing him, nibbling on his neck, slowly moving her lips over the pulse beating there.

His breathing deepens. His heart beats against his chest. And desire rise in both of them. Wrapping his arms around her, he tightens his embrace, holding her to him, loving the feel of her skin touching his, her breast pressed against his chest. She pulls back, letting her hair fall around them, letting it brush against him. It feels cool against his skin. Reaching for her, he moves his hands down her body, caressing her, stopping to play with her breasts, weighing them before he gently pinches her nipples, feeling them harden in his hand, pressing against his palms.

She moves down his chest, kissing him stopping when she reaches his navel, playing with him. She feels him jump and she continues to play, nibbling on his lower stomach, slowly running her tongue over his navel. She can feel his erection pressing against her, slightly scalding her thigh. She reaches for him, wrapping her hand around him while she continues to play with his navel.

After several seconds, he reaches for her, burying his fingers in her hair, he holds onto her. He tries to move her on, arching his hips, silently asking her to end the torture. She looks up through her lashes, watching him. He reaches for her, slipping his hand between her open thighs, cupping her before he gently caress her desire. He's surprised at how deeply she wants him, slowly rubbing his fingers over her hidden desire. Her grip tights around him as he pushes their desire closer to the end, squeezing as she moves her hand up and down his erection. "Sam." He groans.

She looks up again. The heat, desire and love she sees in his eyes, forces her to move. She pulls away from him. Rising up, she leans in to kiss him, swallowing his groan as she guides him inside her, swallowing him until they are completely connected. He reaches for her hips. Laying her hands on his chest, she looks down into his eyes as she moves her hips, sliding back and forth, slowly.

He reaches for her hips, holding onto her. Letting her set the pace and loving the looks on her face. Loving the desire he sees shining in her eyes, hearing the desire build in her shallow breathing, feeling her body as she moves over him. Slowly he moves his hands up her back, applying a slight pressure on her back until she looks down and reads the need in his eyes. She leans over him, continuing to move her hips over his as he closes his mouth over her breast.

He plays with her, flicking her nipple with his tongue, tugging on her with his teeth, soothing the pain by gently sucking on her nipple. He has her completely center on his mouth until he reaches up to play with her other nipple, manipulating it like he was playing with her other one. She pulls away from him.

Sitting back, she deepens her movement, pulling him deeper until his hand fall back to her hips. Lifting his hips, she sucks in a deep breath. "J!" She moans, closing her eyes. They both feel her body clinch, holding onto him as she increases the movement of her hips and he continues to thrust, sweet waves of release rushes over her, clinging to him.

Wrapping his arms around her, bringing her to him, he rolls to her back. Leaning up on his arms, he thrusts. Answering flutters of her release washes through her and over him. He's so close to loosing control, but he doesn't want this to end right now. He leans back, watching her as he continues to thrust against her, building her to another release. He fights his bodies demand for release.

"Jeffrey!" She cries reaching for his hips, holding him to her as she surrenders to the need fighting for release.

He feels it break over him, clinching around him as she arches her back. He thrusts once and then once more before he lays his head against her chest and let's go. He release burns through him from deep inside. Rushing through him and filling her. Collapsing into her waiting arm, he sucks in a deep breath.

They lay there for a few moments before Jeffrey rolls to his side, taking in another deep breath. "You get better every time we're together."

"I love you too." She says, moving over to him.

"Are you okay?" He asks, turning his head to look at her.

"I'm fine. I don't want to end up like Megan and Patrick."

"First, you don't know how they are going to end up and second, we're not them, we've been apart so we know how we feel when we're not together, and I don't know about you, but I don't want to go back to that."

"I don't want to either, but we can't let indifference and complacency creep up on us."

"I don't think we'll ever become indifferent. You're too good."

"I'm not talk just about sex, but thank you." She says, with a smile.

"I know you're not and I like when you smile. Come on, roll over and I'll sing for both of you."

"You'll sing for both of us, are you sure he'll understand what you're saying."

"Yes, he's going to be and artist like me."

"I didn't know a mayor could ever be an artist." She says, rolling to her side.

He moves in behind her, laying his arm around her waist, he pulls her back to him and softly kisses her shoulder. "A mayor can do and be anything." He whispers before he starts to sing softly.

She lays there listening to him, feeling his body against hers, feeling the warmth of his hand on her stomach, holding their child, closing her eyes, she sighs softly.

Cassie is sitting on the couch. Her feet pulled up and tucked between the cushions as she stares outside. Richard was upstairs putting the boys to bed. After Jeffrey and Sam left, he took them upstairs to get ready for bed. When he comes back downstairs after reading Will two stories and tucking both him and RJ in, he finds Cassie sitting on the couch, staring out the window. He sits down beside of her, taking her feet, he begins to rub them gently. She notices but she doesn't say anything. "The boys are in bed. I had to read Will two stories before I could get him to close his eyes and go to sleep." He says, as Cassie nods. "It was nice to see Jeffrey and Sam. They look happy."

"Yes they did." Cassie replies, still looking out the window.

"What are you thinking about?"

She looks at him and then turns back to the window, after a few minutes she answers him. "I was thinking about Sam's cousin, Megan."

"Her cousin, why were you thinking about her?"

"She was in Sam's wedding. She was Sam's matron of honor."

"I know who she is. Why were you thinking about her?"

"Sam and I were talking while you and Jeffrey were in the barn loading the cradles."

"Okay."

"She told me that Megan and her husband split up."

"I'm sorry to hear that, but I don't see why that has you upset."

"I was thinking about Edmund."

"Edmund! How could Sam's cousin have anything to do with my brother? They don't know each other, as far as I know."

"No, they don't know each other. Sam told me that Meagan's husband left her because she went back to school and that got me to think about you and me and then I began to think about Edmund."

"Please tell me that you think I would ever prevent you from doing something you wanted to do."

"No, I don't think that. You couldn't even if you tried." She says, with a smile.

"Don't be so confident, but I'm still confused, how does Sam's cousin splitting with her husband lead to Edmund?"

She looks at him for a few moments before she says. "We never really discussed Edmund."

"Cassie, I love you and…."

"Don't do that. Don't try to push this aside. I know it hurt you to know I was with Edmund. I felt it when we were in the barn, it changed but when you first touched me after I told you about us being married there you wanted to drive him out of me."

"It changed because I realized that it doesn't matter. I left you and you were hurting, I realize that. And I know you didn't turn to Edmund because you wanted him."

"I don't know why I picked Edmund. I know everyone told me that he hadn't changed. I heard all the reason they told me that we shouldn't be together, but I ignored them and my own warning system."

"You ignored them because you were hurting.
"Maybe, or maybe I wanted to get back at you for leaving. You promised you would be there with me and then you were gone, like that." She says, snapping her fingers. "And I was alone again."

"I can't blame you for that."

"Maybe I blame myself. If I had stopped and really paid attention to what was happening around me, I might have realized something was wrong with every thing. I might have realized that you were still alive."

"You don't know that Cassie."

"I knew everything else about you. I knew when you were tired. I knew when you were frustrated. I knew when you were happy. I even knew when you were sad about Will, and I knew when I wasn't even around you. So why wouldn't I be able to realize that you weren't gone. But I panicked. I felt it the moment I woke up from that dream and I couldn't bring it under control. I knew what Edmund was. I knew what he did, what he could do and I still slept with him. I planned to have his child."

He moves over to her, taking her hand he says, "Cassie, we handle each stressful situation differently. We had been through so much for so long before my accident. And we hadn't had enough time to settle back and relax after we came back from San Cristobel."

"What are you saying?"

"I'm saying that you're not responsible for what happened with Edmund. You were hurt, angry at me for leaving you and probably angry at me for not being truthful with you about our situation, and I'm fairly certain you were probably angry at Reva and the world. You were scared and…."

"But that…." He lays a finger over her lips.

"…that's why I'm not mad at you for being with him. Yes, it hurt me that you were, but I understand why you were and I understand that although you were with him physically, you were never with him spiritually and that spirit is why I love you. Why, I will always love you. And you have to forgive yourself for Edmund and everything else that happened while I was gone. You can't take it back. I can't get back the years I was away from you and the kids. We can only move forward and cherish the time we have now."

"Hawk said the same thing to me, well not the part about moving forward and cherishing the time we have together, and you're right we do need to do that, but he said that I have to forgive myself for being with Edmund. And maybe you're right, I can't blame myself for what I did after your accident but I hate the fact that I hurt you. I wouldn't…."

"I know you wouldn't knowingly hurt me. Just like if I had stopped and thought about all the things going on before you found out you were pregnant with Will I would have known there was absolutely no way you slept with Roark. We all do stuff that in hindsight we realize is absolutely stupid and reckless. Now, if you try to sleep with anyone else besides me, that's a different story."

"What would you do?" She says, moving till she's sitting in his lap and wrapping her arms around his neck."

"I would go absolutely crazy." He says, wrapping his arms around her.

"Well, you don't have to worry about that. I will never want anyone but you."

"Nor, will I ever want anyone but you." He says, leaning in to kiss her.

Cassie pulls back, watching him she says. "Maybe we should go upstairs."

"Why do we need to go upstairs?"
"What if the boys get up?"

He leans in to kiss her. "They are asleep and I want you." He says, slipping his hand under her shirt.

"You want me, but what are you going to do if one of them comes down stairs and we're in the middle of this." She asks, as he brushes her hair back, nibbling and kissing her neck.

Slowly he moves his hands up her stomach. "I seriously doubt that will happen."

"Why?"

"Because I made them use the bathroom before they went to bed and I didn't let them get anything to drink before they went to bed, so they won't need to go to the bathroom." He says, cupping her breast.

"So, what if they get thirsty?" She asks, as she kisses him.

He pulls his hand from under her shirt and she feels like a part of her is missing as he wraps his arms around her, deepening the kiss.

Wrapping her arms around him, she leans against him, pressing her body to his. He takes a deep breath and she takes advantage of the opening, slipping her tongue into his mouth. Reaching up, he buries his hand in her hair, cradling her head while he slips his hand under her shirt again, moving his fingers over her back, up and down her spine until she shivers.

Pulling back, she looks at him and smiles. "Do you still want to go upstairs?" He asks, watching her.

"Umm, no." She says, leaning in to kiss him again.

"Good." He mumbles, reaching for button on the front of her shirt. "Because I don't think I could go anywhere."

He unbuttons the button and then moves up to the next and the next until he has her shirt unbuttoned. Laying his hands on her waist, he looks up, her soft pink bra peeking through the opening of her shirt. Slowly he moves his hands across her stomach, her shirt falling open as she looks down, watching him for a moment before she looks up. "What are you thinking?"

He looks up and then back down, watching his hands move up her body. "I was thinking how your skin reminds me of soft cashmere."

"Cashmere, I'm that expensive."

"Yes, cashmere and silk, that's what your skin reminds me of." He says, as he reaches her breasts, slowly moving his thumbs underneath her breasts.

She leans in, kissing him softly as she reaches for his shirt. He changed clothes after he got home and before William had arrived. He was wearing a t-shirt that Tammy had bought him when they were in Morocco on a state visit and suddenly she realized what he was wearing. "Where did you find this?"

"It was in the back of the closet in a box. I was looking for something the other day and I happened to pull this out. Tammy got this for me while we were in Morocco for the trade agreement with France."

"Yes, she thought it was just what you needed."

"I believe she thought I needed to loosen up."

"I don't think so. I think she wanted you to feel like a normal Dad, with a normal wife and kids and a normal life." Cassie says, slipping her hands under the shirt and reminding him of what they had been doing.

"I felt like a normal dad with her and I feel like a normal husband right now." He says, leaning up to kiss her.

"Even though, we're not technically married."

"It's only a technicality and a matter of time."

"Lift you're arms." Cassie says, moving to pull his t-shirt up.

He lifts his arms, watching her pull his shirt up and reaching to help when she reaches his arms. He pulls the shirt up, tossing it to the floor, before he drops his arms. Sitting back, she looks down, watching him breath. He watches her, watching the subtle changes in the rhythm of her breathing. How her eyes fade a little more as her desire builds. Looking up, he catches the gentle swipe of her tongue across her lower lips and he feels his heart skip a couple beats. Reaching up, he lays his hand against her cheek.

Looking up, she catches the flash of desire in his eyes before they begin to fade to a pale golden green. "I don't know if I've ever told you this, but I love the way your eyes fade to a pale golden green when we make love." She says, leaning in, kissing him softly before nibbling on his lower lip.

Opening his mouth, he reaches up, laying a his hand on her neck, he lays his thumb over the pulse beating at the base of her neck, feeling her heart beating against his hand before he focuses completely on her kiss, deepening it as he wraps his arm around her. While they kiss, Cassie moves to stand up and Richard leans up, following her and not allowing her to break the kiss until she moves straddle him. "Take the pants off." He whispers, pulling away from her.

She looks down into his eyes and then to her jeans. She'd changed clothes after William left and before the boys had come home from school. Standing up, she reaches for the button, popping it open as he settles back against the cushions, watching her. She leans over to kiss him, keeping him right there with her. Pulling away, she stands up and slowly pulls the zipper down. Slipping her shoes off, she stands over him, watching as he slowly lifts his gaze from her waist to her eyes. They stares into each others eyes for several moment before he reaches for the first button on his jeans, pulling it free and then the next and the next until he has his jeans unbuttoned. She can see his erection straining against the confines of his boxers. "Is it hurting yet?" She asks, staring at his erection.

He swallows before he replies, "No, not yet, but that helped.

She leans over him, laying one hand on his thigh the other on the back of the couch, kissing him.

The relief he felt from opening his jeans vanished the moment her lips touched his and her tongue began to play with his lower lip. He reaches up, slipping his fingers into her hair, moving around to the back of her neck, he holds onto her. After a few moments, she pulls away. Standing up, she reaches for her jeans and tugging them down, she's careful to keep her underwear in place. She bends over, pushing them down her legs. Standing, he reaches out to hold her steady as she steps out of them. She kicks them aside, before she looks up.

He's already lift his hips, tugging on his jeans also making sure that his boxers stay in place as much as he wants to pull them off, he plays her game. When he has his jeans to his knees, she reaches down, lifting his leg, she pulls on them. Pushing them down his legs and off his feet while he settles back and watches her, when she drops his foot and stands back up, he looks at her as if to ask, what now?

Leaning over him, she kisses him long enough for him to reach up but before he buries his hand in her hair again, she pulls away. Kneeling before him, bracing her body with each hand on the cushions on either side of him, she kisses the side of his neck, nibbling on him, softly licking the skin beneath her lips and tasting warm salt. He reaches for her, but she pulls away, moving down his neck to his upper chest. She stops for a moment, pulling back to looks at his nipples. They are hard but she knew that she could make them harder.

Leaning in, she lays little kisses on his upper chest as she moves down, nibbling on his warm skin. She playfully swipes her tongue over his left nipple and smiles when she feels him jump, repeating what she just did until he reaches for her. She pulls away, moving to the other nipple. She changes things, lying against him, so that he can feel her body against him, she nips, nibbles and plays with his other nipple until, he reaches for her.

Closing his hand over her breasts, he squeezes and plays with her breasts until she feels her nipples pressing against his palm. She refuses to give up control, moving away from him, she moves until she's almost sitting on the floor. This allows her breast to almost lie against his throbbing erection. "Cassie." He groans, laying his head back and clinching his hands.

Kissing the center of his chest, she stays there for a few moments before he decides he's had enough of her playing. Reaching for her, he pulls her face up to look at him. "You asked if it hurt, it does." He whispers, staring into her eyes as he lifts his hips in silent invitation.

She reaches for his boxers, tugging on them. He reaches to help her, pushing them down his legs as she tugs, kicking them off as she stands up. She reaches for her panties, but he lays his hands over hers, stopping her. She lets go, letting him pull them down, kicking them to the side before she moves closer to him. He catches the deep husky scent of her arousal and it burns through him, pushing his desire almost past the point of explosion.

Kneeling over and kissing him, she reaches for his erection, closing her hand around him for a few moments while they pause to taste each other. He reaches up, laying his hand over her left breast, feeling her heart beating against his hand. He looks up as she takes him and guides him into her welcoming warmth. Releasing her, his hands fall to her hips. She wraps her arms around his neck, she sighs softly, feeling him as he brushes against her hidden desire, and filling her like no other man ever has. "Richard." She moans.

She begins to move back and forth, slowly at first and then with greater speed as desire rushes though each of them, building layers of heat and tightening muscles inside each of them. Laying her hands on his shoulders, she begins to rise and fall, taking him inside her as he lifts his hips, pressing against her hidden desire. He can feel that she's about to loose control.

Leaning up, he kisses her. Wrapping his arms around her he feels her release break, swallowing her cry of release so that it doesn't wake the boys, he feels her body squeezing his, milking it as staggering waves of desire crashes against each of them. Releasing her from the kiss, he stops her. Looking down, she sucks in a deep breath, reading the look in his eyes. "Are you sure?"

"It's going to hurt, but I need you beneath me." He says, taking a breath.

Nodding, she pulls away. She can almost feel the agony for him as he leaves her body. Lying down on the couch, she opens her arms to him as he gets up. Moving into her arms, he kisses her as thrusts inside her in one swift movement. Fluttering waves of her release washes over him, clinching the muscles deep inside her, holding him tightly as he thrusts. Bending her legs, she lifts her hips and he slips deeper. "Cassie." He groans.

He's pounding against her and without warning his release snaps, flooding his body, ripping through him and bursting forth and filling her with a flood of warmth and staggering waves of another release. Holding still, he lifts his head, watching her suck in breath after breath while their release slowly ends. He leans in, kissing her before he collapses into her waiting arms.

Billy and Ava are on the front porch of Sam's house as William pulls up. Parking he gets out of the car and walks up the sidewalk, catching the tail end of their conversation.

"…Rick's spoken with a medical supply company in Chicago. They are bringing all of the stuff we'll need to furnish the medical office. I've got shopping trips planned for tomorrow, to looks for stuff for the waiting room and the staff's office as well as their break room." Ava says, as Billy looks up.

"Hello, William." He says holding out his hand as Ava turns around.

"Hello, Mr. Lewis." William replies.

"Call me Billy."

"Alright, Billy." William replies, putting his arm around Ava's waist.

"We're just finishing up, if you can wait for me?" Ava says, looking up.

"Actually, I think we've finished everything for today. You and His Highness take the evening and enjoy."

"But we still…."

"We've got it under control and I'm sure you'll make great progress tomorrow, but tonight, take the night and spend it with him." Billy says. "And tomorrow morning, don't be in a rush to get to the site. We'll have plenty to do with the upstairs rooms."

"Thank you." William says, as Ava stares at him.

"Umm, yes, thank you." Ava says nodding as Billy turns to leave. "I wonder what in the world that was about?" Ava says, watching him leave.

"I think that was about him giving us some time together and personally I'm glad he did. " William says, putting his other arm around her.

"I'm surprised that's all. This morning he seemed like we were pressed for time to finish this before my Dad… Oh, crap, my dad." Ava says, pulling away from William.

"What about him?"

"They were coming home today."

"Okay."

"I was so busy with this I didn't even remember that they were coming home. We need to go over there." She says, releasing him.

"Ava, wait. Think about it, if you were just back from your honeymoon would you want people showing up to see you. I think they would like few more days…."

"Days, I can't stay away days." Ava says, turning to him.

"Alright, not days, maybe a day or moments to be alone, I know that if we were just married and just back from our honeymoon I wouldn't want to share you with anyone." William says, looking up and catching the look on her face. "What?"

"You just said if we were married."

"Yes, so."

"We just go together William. If you're… are you thinking about marriage?"

"No, no, I didn't mean it that way."

"How did you mean it?"

"I mean… I don't know I was talking about your Dad and Sam and I seriously doubt that he wants to share her with anyone right now." William says, looking slightly uncomfortable.

"Maybe, you're right. But I'll have to go over there first thing in the morning." Ava says graciously dropping the subject of them getting married. "So, what are you doing tonight?"

"I'm taking my favorite lady out for dinner and maybe some dancing at Towers." William says, smiling as he watches her.

"Towers, umm… well in that case I need to go back to my room and get cleaned up."

"Do you want a ride?"

"No, I've got my car. I'll meet you at Towers."

"Okay, good, I'll see you there." William says, walking with her to car. He leans in to kiss her before he opens her car door.

"I'll see you then." Ava says slipping inside and William closes the door. "Thank you." She says,

"You're welcome." He says, leaning into the car. "I'll see you in about an hour."

"Okay."

He stands up and then steps back as she starts the car and then backs out.

An hour later, they are walking into Towers. He had called ahead to make reservations for them and when he walks in the hostess asks. "May I help you?"

"Yes, I have a reservation for two."

"And may I have your name, please?"

"Yes, the reservation is under William Winslow."

"Yes, Mr. Winslow, if you will follow me." She says, taking two menus and leading them through the restaurant. She takes them to a table close to the balcony. "Will this be okay, Mr. Winslow?"

"Yes, thank you." He says, holding out Ava's chair.

"I hope you and your wife enjoy your dinner." The hostess says, sitting down their menu as William looks up and starts to say something but she's already turned to leave.

William walks around the table and sitting down looks at Ava. "I'm sorry about that?"

For a moment Ava doesn't answer him. "It's okay, but to be honest I wouldn't mind being your wife when the time is right."

"Is now the right time?"

"I think we need to know each other better before we go to the next step."

"Okay." William says, picking up his menu.

Over the next hour, they had a nice dinner. Talking about different things, William explained what the next couple months will be like in San Cristobel. And Ava talked about the project Billy had assigned to her. They danced a few dances. They were getting up to leave when William looks across the restaurant and see Olivia, sitting with a man. "Your mom's here."

Ava turns around to look and then turns to William. "So, she is." Ava says, slipping her arm through his.

"Do you want to…?"
"No, I'd rather not deal with her tonight."

"Because of me?"

"No, because I don't want to get into the same argument with her and because we've had a wonderful evening I don't want her to spoil it."

"Alright, so where do we go now?"

"Do you mind if we're alone?"

"Umm, not at all." William says, with a smile before leading her through the restaurant.

Olivia happens to look up as he's leading her past the bar and she watches them leave as James asks. "Is that someone you know?"

"She's my daughter." Olivia says, returning her attention back to him.

"You're daughter, is she with…?"

"Yes, she's with the Crown Prince of San Cristobel and Cassie's brother-in-law."

"You must be very happy." James says looking over his shoulder he doesn't catch the look on Olivia's face.

When they reach William's room, Ava goes into the bathroom and the joins him in the sitting room. "Are you okay?" He asks, as she sits down beside him.

"I'm fine, why?"

"Because you got quiet after we saw Olivia upstairs."

"I'm fine."

"I wish you could both get past this. I don't want to be the reason there's a rift between you and your mother."

"You're not the reason there's a rift between me and my mother. My mother is the reason there's a rift between us."

"Because of the way she reacted to us being together."

"Well, there is that."

"So, I am…."
"No, this started before you even came into the picture. Most of this is because she refuses to see that my Dad is happy. He loves Sam and he won't leave her for Olivia, but she refuses to see that and she's putting me in the middle and on this I'm with my Dad."

"I'm sorry." He says, reaching for her.

She moves into his arms, laying her head on his shoulder. They hold each other for several moments before Ava pulls away. "You know, I missed you so much."

"I missed you too." He says, leaning into kiss her.

Wrapping her arms around him, she leans into him while he deepens the kiss. After several moments, she pulls back. Reading the expression in his eyes, she moves to get up and he asks. "Where are you going?"

"I'll be right back, don't follow me." She says, getting up and walking around the couch while he turns to watch her leave.

When she walks through the door to his suite, he gets up and walks over to the window, overlooking downtown Springfield. He standing there when she walks out of the room and feeling her presence he turns around she is standing in the doorway of the master suite. "Ava" He says, surprised to see her standing there without a single stitch of clothing on.

"This has been in the back of my mind all day." She says, walking slowly across the room to where he is standing.

She slowly starts to unbutton his shirt before she reaches down, tugging on it. Reaching up, she brushes the shirt off his shoulders and down his arms, letting it fall to the floor. She places a gentle kiss at the center of his chest, while her fingers work his belt loose, as he kicks his shoes off.

Reaching down, he lifts her chin as he pulls her closer to him, wrapping his arms around her and holding her tightly while they kiss. A few seconds later, Ava breaks the kiss. Glancing down, she opens his pants. Tugging them slowly down, she doesn't stop until they are at his ankles and he steps out of them. Taking his hand, she leads him into the master suite. When they reach the bed they stop. She looks up at him as she slowly runs her hands up his chest, stopping for a few seconds to caress his nipples. "Do you know how much I want you?"

Swallowing, William shakes his head no. Taking his hand, she presses it against her body, slowly running it down, stopping first at her heart so he can feel it beating against his fingers. She moves it down till it rest above her stomach so he can feel the rhythm of her breathing as it became shallower and shallower and then she moves on, until he feels the heat radiating from between her legs.

"Touch me and you'll find out." She whispers, releasing his hand and leaning up to kiss him as he slips his hand between her legs.

Sinking into her warmth, the feel of his fingers moving against her needy body is all she can take, holding onto him, she falls back across the bed. "Ava." He whispers, leaning over her as they kiss.

Reaching for her, his fingers slipping inside until he feels the tug of her body closing around them, slowly he moves them, his thumb pressing against her desire. "Will." She cries, arching her back opening her legs.

Reaching for him, she tries to pull him to her but he resists, pushing her higher with every second and every caress. He moves his thumb and she feels her desire snap, sucking his fingers deep inside her, arching her back.

He watches her feeling his desire building with every caress, every moan, every sigh until his boxers feels like they are going to burst Moving to his back, he arches his hips tugging on the boxers until they are at his knees. He is turning back to her, when she reaches for him, closing her hand around him.

"Ava." He gasps, arching his hips and pressing his body against her hand. Slowly he begins to move his hips as she leans over him.

Softly blowing warm air against him, it feels cool against his burning skin and he feels himself loosing control, feeling the tension and desire building inside him. Reaching for her, but she stops him.

Straddling him, she moves towards him until she feels him touching her. Slowly she guides him inside, closes around him while staring into his eyes. Leaning over him, she kisses him, swallowing his sigh as she moves against him.

His hands fall to her hips, directing her and their pleasure. Slowly she moves, until her desire is almost to the breaking point. He closes his eyes, giving himself over to her and their desire. Leaning over, Ava lightly kisses his chest, before she stops.

Surprised, he opens his eyes, searching for hers. Their gazes lock. She waits one minute, and then another and another after that. Reaching for her, his hands hold desperately to her hips. Slowly he starts to move her, thrusting against her gently until she begins moving on her own, reaching for the end. Reaching for everything they can give each other. Rolling over, he leans over her driving his hips against hers.

"Will, yes, yes, yes!" She cries, her cries getting progressively louder as she surrenders to him.

"Ava." He groans, pushing his body as deep as he possibly can.

Waves of passion wash over both of them, collapsing against her, burying his face at the base of her neck. Reaching for him, she holds him close to her until she feels them both begin to relax. Slowly releasing him, he rolls to his side. Turning to look at her, he watches her for a few minutes before he leans up.

"You amaze me. You do things to me that no one has ever done." He says, lightly brushing the damp hair from her forehead back.

"I know." Ava says, reaching for his hand and kissing his palm. "You do the same for me."

"I want this to go on forever." He says, lying down beside her. She turns to him, watching him.
