Today, Gaara and I saw something completely and utterly absurd while we were walking to the Kazekage Tower this morning.
We saw Kankuro talking to a girl.
Okay, that last sentence didn't sound completely absurd, to a point.
What was absurd was that she ENJOYED his company!
Yes . . . ENJOYED!
Gaara and I were absolutely flabbergasted when we saw them talking by the cacti shop.
Yes, Suna has a cacti shop.
It's one of Gaara's favorites.
Anyway, you know what was the weirdest part of this situation.
She looked past Gaara.
She didn't even notice my good looking redheaded brother, aka the chick magnet of the family.
I was shocked.
Kankuro was shocked, in a happy way most likely.
Even Gaara's fangirls, who were tailing us as usual, were stunned into silence.
Then they gave the girl dirty looks for "disrespecting Gaara-senpai".
She ignored them too.
Yeah . . . she's gonna need to look over her shoulder for the rest of the day, and probably the week.
As for Kankuro, you should have seen the grin on his face when he saw that the girl he was talking to ignored Gaara in favor of him.
Gaara still does not know what to make of this.
And I'm here writing about it, now realizing I never caught the girl's name.
Damn, I should have asked for her name.
For all I know she could be an undercover enemy ninja.
Yeah, maybe that's why she was talking to Kankuro.
No one in their right mind would talk to him as if they liked him.
