Author's Section:
Welcome to the second part of 'An Evening to Remember'! I am your host, AuraPen, and I hope you are all enjoying this so far.
Terribly sorry that I took quite some time with this, but you know you guys always want the best and I'm here to give you all the best I can write, even if it takes some amount of time to do!
And believe me, you'd want brilliant chapters every two weeks instead of rushed and unimaginative ones every day.
Come on.
Setting: The Haunted House. Or mansion. I call it 'House'.
Characters: King Alfred, Lady Salome, Blaster Blade, Lady Ashley (Or, Ashlei. But I prefer Ashley, and if you guys want me to re-correct all the 'Ashley's I've written.. just tell me.), Sister Tarte, Sister Chocolat.
Summary: King Alfred and Lady Salome advance into the Haunted House, but what awaits them inside?
Please enjoy, everybody! It took me quite a while to type and I got stopped by writer's block and homework quite a lot of times. Believe me, it's hard getting something out every week, but today.. *cough* I am sick, so I decided to take advantage of my healing time and finish this for you guys.
And, that's enough of that. Go on, feast your eyes.

King Alfred and Salome
"What is wrong, Lady Salome?" King Alfred asked as she edged closer to him. They had entered the attraction a few minutes ago and he noticed Salome looked a little uneasy.
"Cobwebs! Um, I mean, yes, cobwebs. They get in my hair.." She said, a little too quickly. King Alfred looked around the corridor, eyeing the corners of the ceiling.
"But there's no cobwebs here, Lady Salome."
"There was! In that room back there. L-Let's just keep going." Salome huffed, clinging onto the King's arm.
"Of course." He chuckled.
Blaster Blade and Ashley
Ashley peeked around the corner, watching as Salome edged closer to the king. Blade tapped her on the shoulder. He was behind her, so he couldn't see what was happening.
"What's goi-"
"Shh." Blade was instantly silenced. Ashley giggled as Salome became flustered and quickly said she was concerned about the cobwebs. Behind her, Blade huffed, and crossed his arms behind her.
'Oh Salome..' Ashley thought when Salome grabbed King Alfred's arm, looking around quickly as they advanced. 'You're scared, aren't you?'
Tarte and Chocolat
"Got your mask on?" Tarte whispered. Chocolat whimpered at the sight of her mask in the small hand mirror. It was so very scary, it was a hockey mask with fake dried up blood on it, and she was holding a fake plastic chainsaw that could make revving sounds. Also, the costume she was wearing seemed quite similar to her mask, but was a few sizes too big for her.
"I don't like the look of it.. maybe a different one?" Tarte rolled her eyes. She too was in a different scary looking outfit.
"It's fine, it's scary, it's what we need. Now come on, I think I can hear some voices." Chocolat put away the mirror in the chest they had gotten their costumes from, and joined Tarte by the door. Talking could be heard down the corridor.
"Any moment now.." Tarte whispered. Taking in a deep breath, she readied her voice.
Combination of everyone
"Stop now!" Tarte's deep voice called to them. King Alfred stopped Salome with a hand, eyes narrowed. He scanned the area in front of them.
"Who goes there?" He called.
"Turn back and leave, or you two will meet a horrible fate.."
"Your majesty, it's merely just an actor or a recorded speech, the voice wasn't that good.." Salome nervously reassured him. Tarte was taken aback, and growled.
"Now now.." Chocolat tried to calm down her friend.
"Who does she think she is?" She muttered angrily. Chocolat whimpered. Tarte sighed, and cleared her throat once again.
"I haunt this haunted house..!"
"But it is an attraction at an amusement park." King Alfred said.
"Uh, I er.." Tarte shook her head quickly. "I mean, er, this used to be the site of a REAL haunted mansion, but then this stupid amusement park was built around it.. and I haunt this house on the day they first started the construction.. So leave now, or you will meet a horrible fate.."
"We're not leaving." King Alfred growled, standing protectively in front of Salome.
"FINE THEN!" Tarte huffed. "PREPARE TO MEET YOUR DOOM!" Tarte dragged Chocolat out of the door, and she revved her chainsaw and Tarte waved her bloodied dagger around dangerously.
What happened next happened in a blur.
King Alfred was pulled forward by Salome as she yelled a battle cry, charging straight at the Battle Sisters. Their eyes widened and they quickly jumped aside just in time to avoid Salome trampling on them. Ashley got up, bringing Blaster Blade up with her.
"Quick! They're getting away!" Tarte growled, getting up quickly. Chocolat did the same and they chased after the couple. Ashley looked to Blaster Blade.
"We should go help them!"
"It's just some actors," Blade sighed. "They're not going to kill them-"
A loud scream echoed in the hallways.
"On second thought, let's go!"
King Alfred, Salome, Ashley and Blaster Blade
"Aiee!" Salome cried, flailing her arms about in an attempt to rid her hair of the cobwebs that hung from the ceiling. King Alfred unsuccessfully attempted to stifle a few laughs.
"It's not funny!" She snapped, ripping a piece away from her hair. "What if a spider or a dead bug got in my hair?!"
"Sorry, sorry," King Alfred apologised. "Here, let me help." Together they untangled the cobwebs from Salome's blond hair. After they had finished, she untied it and ran her fingers through it, hoping there weren't any bugs in her hair and to get rid of any last bits of cobweb.
"Tha-"
"Ssh." He put his index finger on her lips and they stayed dead silent.
"Do ya think they came around this way?" A male voice asked in the distance.
"Not sure," A female one replied. "We lost them at the fork in the hallway. Those actors just laughed and left, so we have no idea where they went."
The voices were getting louder.
"Quick, in here." King Alfred led Salome over to one of the doors in the hallway. Sighing in relief as they realised it wasn't locked, they went inside moments before as the voices turned the corner into the hallway they were just in.
"I can't believe Salome ploughed right through them." Ashley commented.
"Why does this lady not address me properly?" Salome whispered. King Alfred shrugged.
"Me neither." Blade replied. They stopped right by the door. "Oh great. Now we've REALLY lost them."
"They're following us?" King Alfred was confused. "Stalkers!"
"They could have already left the place.." Blade sighed. Salome frowned, and walked out.
"Why are you two following us?" She asked, stepping out of the room. Ashley and Blade were taken aback by her sudden appearance.
"Salome! I mean, erm, Lady Salome!" Ashley corrected, remembering that she was in disguise as someone else.
"Answer my question." She stated, folding her arms.
An eerie silence surronded the group. King Alfred facepalmed.
"We, er, we're your biggest fans." Blade lied. He mentally kicked himself for making the worse excuse ever.
"Yes, we were following you because.. erm," Ashley attempted to play along with Blade's sorry excuse for a lie.
"Because?" Salome prompted. King Alfred stepped out and put his hand on Salome's shoulder.
"Don't be too hard on them, Lady Salome." He said, trying to calm her down. He faced the two. "Please go home and do not follow us anymore."
"Right.. thank you, your majesty." Ashley bowed. "C'mon Bla- Bla-"
King Alfred rose an eyebrow.
"Blake." She finished awkwardly, grabbing Blade's hand. "Let's go."
"Right." They walked off stiffly to the exit, and them King watched them leave, taking note of their appearances.
"Well, your majesty," Her words snapped him out of his thoughts. "Shall we get going? I've had quite enough of this Haunted House for one night."
"You're right," King Alfred agreed with Salome. "Let's get out of here."
Tarte and Chocolat
"Come on, Chocolat." Tarte helped Chocolat back through the window they came in through. Tarte rolled up her sleeves, eyes on the couple who had just walked out of the Haunted House. "We've got some more work to do."
Author's Ending Section:
Well, looks like I'll be needing more than 2 chapters to finish this off.
I am so sorry to everyone who has been waiting. Like, WAAAAITING for me. You guys know I just never update until 2 weeks after my last because of school, homework and a hawk watching my computer times.
Another thing to make up for this:
At the VERY bottom of my profile, you will find a word that says 'LINK'. Click on it, and it'll take you to a picture/photo which is how 'The Royal Pranksters' all started. For some odd reason I cannot get it to work on a FanFic, so I'm just going to assume it only works on my profile.
Well, I guess that's all I have to say. Please review, favourite and follow, everybody!
Goodbye!
