A Fresh Start

Chapter Two Hundred

Warm sunshine shines into Richard and Cassie's room the next morning, waking Cassie. After they returned from Oakdale, they had gone to bed. Rolling to her side, Cassie watches him sleep. He hadn't said anything after they left Julie's Mom's. Reaching up, she brushes a few strands of his hair from his forehead. The boys would be home later but she wanted to spend this time being with him. She moves in closer to him as he asks softly. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. How are you?" She asks, leaning up beside him on one arm.

"I'm okay."

"You didn't say much after we left Oakdale."

"I feel better about the situation with Julie. Maybe eventually she will let me be apart of her life, but I think I can go on and live my life knowing what I know, now."

"So, you're not going to contact them anymore."

"No, I'm going to give her, her space."

"You're okay with that?"

"I'm at peace with that. I want to be apart of her life, but I understand why she's reluctant to have me around." She sighs and then lays down beside him. "What's wrong?"

"I think you're letting her blame you for something you and I had no control over. We had no way of knowing that Camille would come after us or kill her husband. And I don't think it's fair that she's keeping you from your brothers family for that."

"I under..."

"I know you understand. But what about standing up for yourself."

"I am standing up..."
Cassie pulls away from him, sitting up and then turns to him. "No, you're not. You're doing the same thing you did with Edmund."

"How can you possible compare Edmund to this?" He demands, staring at her.

"Don't get angry and not listen to me. You are the most understanding and accommodating man I know. But when Edmund would do something to you or the country of San Cristobel, you never looked at him as a man. You saw him as an ignored, miserable, excluded child. And that was the reason the cycle between you and Edmund never ended. I know you felt somewhat responsible for the way Edmund was treated. But Richard, at some point he had to take responsibility for the things he did. He never did that because you always saw him as that child that grew up with you, miserable and alone."

"I am responsible."

"That's my point right there. Listen to me, and I want you to hear this. You are not responsible for the things your father did to Edmund. You are not responsible for the fact that your father lied to Princess Charlotte and San Cristobel by placing you on the throne of San Cristobel instead of William, leaving Edmund to be second. You are not responsible for Camille coming after us and ultimately ending your brother's life. None of that was your fault. And I think it's about time you quit blaming yourself and stand up for yourself instead."
"Did you always feel this way?"

"I used to wonder why you never made Edmund pay for the things he did to you and San Cristobel. You had the power to punish him, but you always let him off."

"Until he came after you."

"And the same fire you felt when he came after me, you should've felt when he came after you or San Cristobel. In any other government, if someone did the things that Edmund did to you and to San Cristobel, he would have been thrown in jail or executed. I respect that you want to follow Julie's wishes, but I think you at least owe it to yourself to see her and explain to her what you want and feel. After that, the ball's in her court."

"I'll think about it." Richard says, holding out his hand.

She lays back down beside him, laying her arm across his waist. They lay there for a while. "I don't want you to feel like I was attacking you."

"I wouldn't feel that way. I want you to tell me what you're thinking or feeling. I wish you would have said something about Edmund before."

"Edmund was your brother. I understood that you wanted the relationship that you had before Reva came to the island and he started to seriously undermine you."

"I would be willing to bet that Edmund started undermining me long before Reva came to the island. And you're right, I did see the boy I grew up with. I remembered how our father would completely ignore him for days and then when he did pay attention to him, it was to criticize something that Edmund had done or said. I always saw the look in his eyes that he had after the accident. That look of hollow aloneness and it wasn't there until then, at least I don't remember it. He wanted so much to be apart of things, and everyone, my father, servants, titleholders, even the people treated him as if he was nothing more than a spare to me."

"And you feel guilt for that, even today, you feel guilt for that."

"Yes, I suppose I..."

"It's not you suppose, you do. You feel guilt for the way Edmund was treated, but you never treated him that way."

"Are you sure about that Cassie?"

"Yes, I am."

"And you don't want me to let my guilt for what happened to Matt keep me from standing up for what I believe is right."

"No, I don't. She won't see you because of something that was out of all of our control. I'm so sorry she lost her husband and the father of her kids. I know what that feels like. And I am incredibly thankful that I have you back. But I won't let her put this on you because none of us could've controlled what happened."

"I will think about what you've said." He says, turning to kiss her softly. "When do the boys come home?"

"Not till later, did you have something in mind?"

"Yes, sleep." He says, yawning.

She laughs softly, snuggling into him. "I guess it is kind of early for Sunday." Closing their eye's they are both asleep within a few moments.

Ava walks into Company later that morning with Emma. They have spent the last few days getting settled into a routine and getting settled in at the Beacon. Buzz walks over to them as they sit down. "So, how is the Beacon working out?" He asks.

"It's going quite well." Ava says. "But I want to thank you for letting me stay here at the boarding house. And I know I still owe you for a couple months rent..."

"You don't need to worry about that. We're settled up." Buzz says.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, so Miss Emma, is it going to be blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes this morning."

"I think I'll have blueberry ones this morning." Emma says, smiling.

"Blueberry pancakes coming right up. Do you want...?"
"Blueberry pancakes sound great. I'll have some of those too."

"Two orders of blueberry pancakes coming right up. Orange juice and milk?" He asks, looking at Ava.

"Yes, but can you give the low acid orange juice, or apple."

"I see what we have." Buzz says, turning away.

"Ava, why do you want the low acid orange juice?" Emma asks, looking at her.

"Because of the baby, sometimes we I eat or drink acidic things it makes me sick because of the baby."

"Oh, what are we doing today?" Emma asks.

"I don't know. What do you want to do?"

"When will William be here?"

"Next week probably, why?"

"Well, maybe we could go shopping and find some things for him to make him feel at home."

"We could do that."

"And maybe we could go see Jeffrey and Sam."

"We could do that too. In fact, I need to see Sam about their house."

At the table beside a woman is sitting with her husband. The woman happens to be Emma's teacher. Neither Emma or Ava had noticed her when they came in until she turns around to speak to Ava. "Ms. Peralta." She says.

Ava looks up and doesn't recognize the woman looking at her. "Do I know you?" Ava asks.

"No, we haven't formally met. I am Emma's teacher, Ms. Nichols." She says, holding out her hand.

"Oh, hello." Ava says, shaking her hand. "it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Do you have a moment to talk?"

"Umm, sure."

"I couldn't help but over hear your plans to see Mr. O'Neill."

"That's correct, we might see my father and Sam this afternoon."

"The principal explained the situation surrounding your mother..."

"Excuse me." Ava says, holding up her hand. "Emma, could you go keep Buzz company."

"Yes ma'am." Emma says grudgingly.

"Thank you." Ava says, as Emma gets up and leaves the table. When she's far enough away from the table Ava turns back to her teacher. "You were saying."

"Yes, the principal explained to me the situation surrounding your mother giving custody of Emma to you."

"I don't see how that is any of your business."

"She only told me to keep me advised of what's going on with my students. Now I just heard you say that you're planning on taking Emma over to the man that sent her mother away and I don't think that's a wise decision. Emma has had no problems adjusting to her life no that her mother is out of the picture, but we can't say what she would do if she has to face the man that sent her mother away."

"Jeffrey is not responsible for what my mother did. He was the victim and yet he worked out an agreement with the DA to keep my mother from going to prison. He did that to protect me and Emma from seeing our mother being hauled of to prison in shackles and chains. And I've explained all of this to Emma. She understands fully what happened between Jeffrey and our mother and what those consequences imposes on Emma and myself."

"As I said, up until now, Emma has had no problems adjusting to living with you and her mother leaving."

"I look after my sister. I care for her, protect her and discipline her when necessary. She full understands what happened between Jeffrey and my mother and she also understands that Jeffrey only went to the DA on behalf of Olivia to spare us. If she does begin to have problems in school, then I would be happy to set up a conference at school and you can call me anytime if it pertains to Emma's school work or school function. Other than that, I will handle any situation or questions Emma might have about Jeffrey and our mother. Now if you'll excuse me." Ava says, as Buzz brings their breakfast with Emma following behind them.

"There you go." He says, sitting their plates down. "Will there be anything else?" He asks, looking at Emma and Ava.

"No, we're fine." Ava says, reaching for Emma's plate.

"Alright, I'll be behind the bar if you need me." Buzz says, looking at Ms. Nichols. She turns back around as Ava and Emma begin to eat.

Richard is the first to wake up a few hours later. Rolling to his side, he looks at Cassie. They had talked about a lot of things over the weekend. And he had a lot to think about but for a few hours he wanted to forget about Julie and Matt and the issues surrounding them. Reaching over, he lightly brushes her hair back from her cheek and then slowly moves his hand along her cheek.

When he was in the hospital in DC, he had felt that something wasn't right. And when Cassie had walked into his room, he knew that whatever was wrong was right again. The things she had said about Edmund surprised him a little bit. He hadn't thought about why he kept letting Edmund go, but maybe she was right. Maybe she let him go because he saw Edmund as the little boy that was treated like he was second to him. "Are you okay?" Cassie asks softly.

He looks up and smiles softly. "I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You seemed to be preoccupied."

"I was thinking about what you said about Edmund and I."

"Did I upset you? I didn't mean..."

"You didn't upset me. I want you to tell me what you think and feel. I was thinking that maybe I didn't punish Edmund because I saw him as the boy I grew up with and I felt sorry for him. I felt angry every time I found out about something that Edmund had planned and I would confront him and he would deny it and I would doubt what I knew was the truth, even when I found out about the plan with Rourke, he made me doubt myself."

"And you ended up fighting and stabbing him."

"I lost control that night."

"And loosing control isn't bad when you've been pushed." She says, rolling to her back and stretching before she looks at him. Seeing the look in his eyes as he moves over to her. "Do you want to finish what we started yesterday?"

"Do you want to?" He asks, as she reaches for him and he leans in.

The kiss is soft. Only a gentle brushing of his lips against hers. He pulls back and she watches him for a moment and then she leans in. Kissing him deeply, as he lays his arm across her waist. Pulling her to him. Their attention is totally focused on that kiss.

Pulling back, he murmurs her name before rolling back to her side, she leans in. Nibbling on his lower lip until she feels him totally commit to the kiss. When she does, she pulls back, smiling at his sigh of frustration. "Patience, handsome." She mumbles.

He looks at her for a moment and then gives her a slight nod before he leans in. Nibbling on her lower lip as he gathers her nightgown in one hand. Pulling it up until he can slip his hand underneath, laying it against her waist. Sparks of desire rush through her, flooding her blood stream with a small surge of desire. In that moment, she want her gown off. She has to feel his skin next to hers. Breaking his kiss, she demands as she lifts her arms. "Take it off."

He smiles before he leans in. "You're going to have to sit up, if you want it off. His breathe feels warm against her neck as he moves away from her mouth and down her neck.

She's at war with her body. She wants to feel his skin against hers, but she also wants him to continue nibbling on her neck. After a moment, she says. "Take it off me, rip it if you have to, but please, I..." She takes a deep breath. "...need to feel you, touching me, all of you."

"Sit up." He says, moving back. She reaches to stop him and he kisses her quickly before he mumbles. "You can't have both, right now."

Pulling away, he moves to kneel beside her. Slowly she sits up and then moves to her knees. The covers fall around them. Shivering slightly at the coolness of the room, he reaches for her gown as she lifts her arms, waiting for him to sweep it up and off her. For a moment, he pauses, watching her breast rise as she raises her arms. When she starts to lower her arms, he snaps out of the daze he's in. Gathering the gown up, he pulls it up. When it's off, he tosses it to the floor.

Sitting back he moves his gaze down her body. She allows him a brief appraisal before she moves over to him. Watching him as she moves closer. Leaning in, she kisses him softly at first. When he reaches for her, she wraps her arms around his neck and he pulls her to him. He moves to lay her down, bracing his weight against his arms. For a moment, he pauses while he watches her. Reaching up, she moves her hand over his face gently caressing his cheek. "I don't think I'll ever get tired of you."

"I certainly hope not."

"The way I feel when we're like this..." He pauses. Laying down beside her her, he says. "I can't really describe it. I want to give you everything and I want to take everything you give me." He says, moving his hand down her body. Relishing the satin smoothness of her skin and feeling the heat building within her. He pauses for a moment, laying his hand on the side of her neck, feeling the pulsating beat of her heart. He continues on, running his hand across her upper chest. He lays his hand between her breasts. His thumb softly rubbing the under side of her breast. It's not a large gesture, but it's enough to distract her. Along with the heat he can feel the steady beat of her heart. He swallows and then says. "When is heard each breath you take I know that we'll always fit together." He says, watching her breathe.

She tries to focus on him, on what he's saying, but her attention is on his hand. She needs to feel him cup her breast, knead them. She needs to feel the warmth of his breath just before he takes her nipple into his mouth. She needs the tugging of his mouth and the gentle rasp of his tongue as it plays with her nipple. Imagines invade her head, drawing each erotic picture clearer and clearer until she can't concentrate on what he's saying. She moans softly and he hears her but he says. "I want to bring you so much desire that you think we're going to die."

She swallows before she answers him. "I really hope that doesn't happen. And I know you want to take this slow because I told you to have patience, but I can't. I need you too much." She says, pulling him into a kiss.

The moment their lips meet, he feels the walls of desire pressing in on her. Looming over both of them, like pressing walls of granite, unmistakable and unbreakable. Reaching for her breast, he swallows her sigh of momentary relief, replaced by almost excruciating desire for each of them. Pulling away from the kiss, he goes directly for her nipple, realizing that each of them are too close to desperate.

Reaching up, she wraps her arms around his neck, burying her fingers in his hair. She hols him against her for several moments before she moves her hands to his shoulders, moving them down his back and slipping them over his hips, she pull shim against her. He's focused on her and bringing her as much pleasure as he can, moving between her breasts, caressing and playing with her nipples. He is vaguely aware of her hands moving down his back but she gets his attention when she pulls him to her.

Leaning back, he looks up. Seeing the raging storm in her eyes, threatening to overwhelm her. He releases her and rolls to his back. Lifting his hips and pulling his boxers off. He turns to her. Again, closing his mouth around her nipple, suckling them as she wraps her arms around him. Arching her back, she gives her body to him. She can feel his erection laying against her thigh and she tries to move her hips so that their bodies touch. He moves over her, hovering over her for a moment before he dips his head and lightly licks her nipple. "Richard!" She cries, arching her back.

Desire surges through her, crashing against her deepest soul. She reaches for him. Wrapping her arms around his waist, she pulls him to her. He thinks to fight her but she insists and he lays down against her. He continues to play with her breasts but she doesn't let him get focused on that. She raises her legs, wrapping them around his hips, she moves against him. "Sweet... Cassie!" He groans, feeling her body move against his erection.

She closes her eyes, moving against him. He lays his head against her chest while he supports his weight with his arms. He focuses on the slick heat rushing from her and over him. Mimicking their rhythm until he can't wait anymore. He looks up and when she feels him move, she opens her eyes. Seeing the demand on his face, she releases him. Opening her body to him, he moves up. Slipping inside her, he sinks deeper and deeper, feeling her close around him like warm wet velvet. They both struggle to catch their breath. He finally pulls back and she moans softly.

Thrusting into her, he moves deeper as she arches her back. Their rhythm increases again and again as he thrusts. Desire builds inside both of them, pressing against them. She wraps her arms around him, reaching for his hips. She pulls him deeper, holding on tightly as he pulls back, almost refusing to release him as he pulls away. Over and over again, until he feels the vibrations humming in their blood, beating against their heart and soul. He tightens the desire, like a musician tightens the strings of his guitar until finally the string breaks. Pulsing waves of heat sweep over her, pulling him deeper and refusing to let him go. He feels a throbbing wave of desire surge through him, flooding her body. Arching their backs, they sucks in a deep breath and then releases a loud groan.

When the waves of desire slow to small ripples, he rolls over to his side, sucking in a deep breath. She moves to her side as he turns to look at her, smiling he lifts his arm as she moves over to him. Laying her head on his chest, she snuggles in against him. He turns his head and lightly kisses her forehead. "I love you." He says.

"I love you too."

"How are the boys getting home?"

"We have to go get them. Harley is working tonight."

"When does she go to work?"

"Three."

"So we have a few hours before we have to go get them. I have an idea." He says, releasing her and moving to his side.

"What's that?"

"Well, there's a store on Main Street that's for babies. I thought we could go down there and look at the stuff and get some ideas for the nursery."

"That sound like fun."

"Then go take a shower and we'll go."

"Can you do something for me?"

"What?"

"Turn the heat on."

"Are you cold?" He asks, as she nods. "Alright, I'll turn the heat on and you can go take a shower."

"Are you going to join me?" She asks, looking at him.

"Do you want me too?"
"Well, we both need a shower." She says, trying to sound indifferent. He laughs, leaning over to kiss her.

"I'll be in there in a few minutes." He says, pulling away.

Ava and Emma leave Company after the finish eating. Getting in the car, Ava turns to Emma. "So, what do you want to do today?"

"Can we go see Jeffrey and Sam?"

"You want to go see Jeffrey and Sam."

"Yes."

"Okay, we'll go see Jeffrey and Sam. Let me call them and I'll find out where they are." Ava says, pulling out her phone.

She dials Jeffrey's cell. After a couple rings, he picks up. "Hello."

"Dad."

"Hey darlin, what are you doing?"

"Emma and I just left Company and she wants to see you and Sam so I told her I would see what you were doing?"

"Oh, we're at the house. Sam wanted to finish some work and I'm, well, I'm hanging out with her."

"Do you mind if we come over?"

"Not at all, we'll be here."

"Alright, we're on our way."

"We'll see you in a few minutes."

"Bye." Ava hangs up and heads for Jeffrey and Sam house. A few minutes later, she pulls up. Jeffrey is in the yard when she pulls up. She and Emma get out of the car as Jeffrey walks over to them. He and Ava hug before he turns to Emma. "Hello, Emma." He says.

"Hi." She says, hugging him. Jeffrey looks up at Ava as he's hugging her back.

"Is Sam here?" Emma asks, releasing Jeffrey.

"Yes, she's in her office." Jeffrey says, as Emma turns for the house. "She seems okay."

"Yes, she's fine. She wanted to see both of you today."

"How are you doing? Have you talked to William?" Jeffrey asks, turning for the house.

"We talked a little bit last night." Ava replies, following him and Emma.

"Does he know when he's leaving San Cristobel?"

"No, he couldn't say. But we're staying at the Beacon now so we have enough room until the loft is finished."

"Sam asked Billy to speed that along. And I was thinking that we'll move into this house early."

"You don't have to do that?"

"It will give the crew more room to work and Sam and I want to start living here. We've got a nursery to plan."

" I think everyone should be finished soon. I talked to them about the plans and they say they should have the upstairs finished probably by next week."

"Well that would be good."

"I heard about you not running for reelection."

"Yes, I decided not too. I want to spend time with Sam and the baby."

"So, what are you going to do? Will you open another practice?"

"No, probably not. I might do some legal work here and there but I doubt that I'll fully practice law."

"You've got something planned." Ava says, looking at him.

He looks at her and then smiles as he opens the back door. He lets her go inside and then he follows her closing the door behind them. "Sam's in her office. It's through there."

"You're not going to tell me what you have planned."

"No, because nothing is concrete yet." Jeffrey says, walking through the kitchen to the hallway leading to Sam's office.

"Have you said anything to Sam?"

"No, and I would appreciate it if you don't say anything to her. I don't know what is going to happen after the election. When I know, I will tell her."

"Okay, I won't say anything." Ava says, walking into the office with Jeffrey.

She follows him back to Sam's office. "...if something was wrong I would be able to see it." Sam says to Emma, holding up an x-ray.

"You mean you can see what's wrong just by taking a picture of my body?" Emma asks, looking at the x-ray.

"Not always, but most times. Sometimes, I know something is wrong from the x-ray but I have to look closer to find out what exactly is wrong."

"How do you do that?"
"By performing other tests and scans at the hospital." Sam says, looking up. She smiles when she sees Jeffrey. "Hi." She says, hugging Ava. "I was just explaining to Emma why we sometimes take x-rays of my patients."

"They use machines to take pictures of people's insides. It's cool, but it's sort of gross too. I like it." Emma says, looking at Ava.

"It maybe gross but it's important for the doctor to see what's wrong."

"Do you take the pictures?" Emma asks, looking at Sam.

"No, I can't."

"But you're the doctor."

"Yes, I'm the doctor. But there are things that can be harmful to unborn babies so I'm not allowed to take the pictures. I have a someone that takes the pictures for me and then I look at them."

"Like a photographer."

"Well, I suppose you could call her that, but it's really more complicated than that. They're called a radiology tech. They went to school to learn how to take the pictures with the machines and how to develop them so I can see what's wrong and make you better."

"It's still cool but sort of gross." Emma says, looking at the x-ray.

Sam smiles before she turns to Ava and Jeffrey. "So, what are you two doing?"

"We just finished eating breakfast and Emma wanted to see you and Jeffrey so we called and Dad said we could come over, so here we are."

"I'm almost finished with these notes I wanted to make. If you guys want to go upstairs and I'll be up in a few minutes."

"Alright." Ava says, looking at Jeffrey.

"We'll see you soon." He says, leaning over to kiss Sam. "Make it fast, I want to spend some of today with you."

"I be as fast as I can." She says, smiling as they turn to leave.

Richard and Cassie leave the farm about an hour later. After Richard had joined her in the shower they finally got out as the water was turning cold. As he pulls out onto the road leading to Springfield, he reaches for her hand. Looking at him, she smiles. About thirty minutes later, they parking outside the store. Getting out, Richard walks around the car and opens the door for Cassie. She gets out and he closes the door. Slipping his arm around her as he locks the door and they walk towards the store. He holds the door for her and then follows her inside. Cassie looks around and then looks at him. "They have everything."

"Well, you can pick whatever you want."

"Richard, we don't live in the place. All we really need is a crib, changing table and dresser to keep clothes and diapers in. That's all I had when I had Tammy. In fact, I don't think I had a changing table."

"We can afford more than just a crib and dresser Cassie. This is our miracle baby, so she should have whatever she wants."

"Oh, I can see how it's going to be as soon as she gets here." Cassie says, as they walk down an aisle of cribs.

"How what is going to be?"

"She's going to ask and you're going to give it to her. You are going to spoil her rotten, just like you did with Tammy and RJ in San Cristobel."

"I didn't spoil Tammy and RJ and I won't spoil this one."

"Oh please, Richard. She's going to look at you and you're not going to say no to her. You won't be able to."

"You might be surprised what I will be able to do. And I think you're going to spoil her just as much. What about that one?"

"That won't go with Tammy's room?"

"We can change Tammy's room." He says, looking at her. For a moment, he sees a faint flicker of pain in Cassie's eyes. "I thought you were okay with Tammy's room being used as the nursery. You suggested it."

"I am okay with it. But sometimes, thinking about changing her room, it hurts."

"I know." Richard says, pulling her to him.

"That's the last thing I have that was hers."

"You still have her darling. She's a part of you." Richard says, holding her.

"I'm okay with Tammy's room being the nursery." Cassie says, releasing him.

"We can do something different. Maybe move one of the boys..."

"We're not moving the boys. Making Tammy's room the nursery makes more sense."

"We could renovate the basement. Make a couple of bedrooms down there and a place to go when the weather gets bad."

"Why do you want two bedrooms?"

"Because it would allow us to hire someone to help you..."

"I don't need any help. I'm fine."

"You're fine now, but I remember how tired you got when you were pregnant with Will. When you start to show you'll need help around the house and with the boys. They are old enough to start taking care of some things themselves but you'll still need help." He says, as they walk along the aisle.

"Alright, we can hire someone to help me with the boys."

"Okay, that was easier than I thought."

She looks at him. "I can be understanding."

"I know. So, can we hire Ms Chitwood to..."

"She has her own family, but we'll still have to use her sometimes." He leans over and kisses her. "What was that for?"

"Because you're loving and loyal and I love that about you."

"Ms. Chitwood helped me when I need the most help. She's almost like the mother I missed having with Sarah."

"You're still totally amazing. So, we'll keep the nursery in Tammy's room and we'll remodel the basement."

"That's fine. I had forgotten about the basement. What about that one?" Cassie says, pointing to a crib.

Richard looks at the one she's pointing too. "Oh, it think that one is perfect. It looks like a bed and I think it could be converted to a bed once she's older."

"It can be." A woman says, walking up to them. "The rails are removable, so when she's older you can turn it into a regular bed. And it has attachments that you can order if you want."

"Attachments, for what?"

"If you want you can order a canopy for the bed."

"Oh, don't tell him that. He'll order it now."

"And she's going to need two closets for all the clothes and shoes you're going to buy her."

Richard says, as the woman smiles.

"My name is Marjorie. When are you due and is this your first child?"

"Not for several months, and we have two boys." Cassie says. "Do you have anything else that will go with the bed.

"We have a complete ensemble. Crib, dresser, changing table, rocker. The crib comes with the mattress. It can come in any color that you want."

"I want it in white. The room that will be the nursery will be painted a soft pink so the white will go with that color."

"What other stuff do you have?" Richard asks.

"We have a complete line of bedding, blankets, sheets, everything. We also have a lady that will hand crochet a baby blanket if you want. We also have all the little things you'll need. Bottles, nipples, baby bottle liners, thermometers, pacifiers, clothes, from infants to twenty four months. We have baby monitors. We have just about everything and if we don't have it in the store would be happy to research it online for you. We strive to be your one stop for everything you'll need for your baby."

"She needs something like that. With two boys and the baby, she needs as little stress as possible."

"Don't make me sound so fragile Richard, I'm not helpless."

"I know you're not helpless, but this... never mind. Can you show us the stuff that goes with this?"

"Sure. You've seen the crib. The changing tables and rockers are over here." Marjorie says, leading the way down the aisle.
