Author's Section:

Greetings, and welcome to a longer one-shot than the one previous! Just, still with a more terrible title than before (*sob*).

Thanks to James95 for his request, I hope this was what you were looking for!

Clan: The Oracle Think Tank and Link Joker.

Characters: Imperial daughter, Evil eye Princess, Euryale, Scarlet Witch CoCo and Little Witch LuLu.

Minor Characters: Goddess of the Full Moon Tsukuyomi, CEO Amaterasu, Companion Star Star-Vader Photon, Clipping Deletor Evo, Juxtapose Deletor Gaele, Gravity Collapse Dragon. (Note: I checked all of these Link Joker units to make sure they could lock.)

Summary (Straight from James95): "Daughter is jealous of Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu's popularity so Euryale decides to rub it in, only for CoCo and LuLu to defend the Imperial daughter. However, in a later attack by the Link Joker's which locks the others, Imperial daughter's abilities are unleashed and she is seen as a force to be reckoned with."

Time Setting: 11:47AM.

Setting: Magic Laboratory No. 3

"Alright, one more try before we have a small break." Imperial Daughter ordered. "According to my observations, we're close to accomplishing this!"

"Yes, your highness!" Scarlet Witch CoCo nodded. "Ready, LuLu?"

"Ready!" Little Witch Lulu tapped into her vermillion orb, starting up the process of transferring power towards the potted plant. The witches and the Imperial princess were working on a teleportation spell to teleport a living organism, a potted plant. Teleporting inanimate objects was fine, but teleporting a living organism was far more difficulting, considering the organism would obviously have a soul. The orb shone brightly, and fired a beam at the potted plant.

"Fingers crossed." Daughter muttered. The plant shone, bathing the room in a sharp white glow, causing them to shield their eyes from the harsh light. When it subsided, the trio found that the plent had not moved.

"I can't believe this!" Little Witch LuLu gave out a frustrated cry. "We've worked on this spell all week and it's still sitting there!"

"What are we missing..?" Daughter mused, flicking through the papers on her clipboard. "I'm pretty sure we were using the right combination of spells.. I've checked so many times."

"Girls, how about we take a break?" CoCo offered. "It's almost lunch anyway, and we should recover our magic. Perhaps we could re-collect our thoughts during our break?"

"Alright.." LuLu sulked. Together, they walked out to the mess hall.

Time Setting: 12:30PM.

Setting: Temple gardens.

"Aaaah, some fresh air!" LuLu skipped along the cobblestone path. The three were in the gardens after having lunch. "I hate how the air gets all stuffy whe we're practicing spells."

"I can feel the power coming from the air into us." CoCo breathed in. "This is truly a wonderful place."

"I agree." Daughter breathed in. Looking around the gardens, she noticed a small gathering of children. The happy kids gathered around CEO Amaterasu and the Goddess of the Full Moon, Tsukuyomi. The Imperial princess made a sad smile, what use was she, other than just being a princess?

"Jealous?" Daughter turned to see the Evil-eye Princess Euryale looking in the same direction she was. She didn;t really like Euryale or her snakes. They tended to hiss at her and almost snap at Daughter when she wasn't careful.

"Of course not." Daughter replied coolly.

"Oh, yes you are. Don't deny it." Euryale laughed a sinister laugh. "Jealous that they are more popular and more useful than you?"

"No, it's not like that.."

"Oh, so you are jealous?" Euryale caught on. She looked back at the kids around the goddesses. "Or perhaps you are caught up in how little worth you really are that makes you jealous of them?"

"That's enough out of you, Euryale." CoCo stopped her.

"I was just getting started, dear." Euryale said innocently. Her snakes hissed.

"The Imperial Daughter helps us with so many things, unlike you, who stays in her 'ruins' all of the time doing heaven-knows-what." LuLu said sternly. "You have no right to say such things."

"Girls, please.." Daughter begged.

"You're so weak that even the witches have to defend you." Euryale laughed. "What a joke!"

"Enough!" Daughter spat back. Suddenly, the ground shook heavily, and all the units fell down. A large black ring appeared in the sky.

"What's going on?" Tsukuyomi asked. The children started to cry and Amaterasu did her best to calm them. LuLu stared into her orb and gasped.

"What is it, what do you see?" CoCo asked urgently.

"It's Link Joker, they're attacking the Oracle Think Tank!"

"What do we do?" LuLu cried. The units and the children had attempted to get them to a safe place, but they found themselves surrounded in the gardens still. The children crowded in the middle, frightened for their lives.

"We keep fighting until we can't anymore!" Tsukuyomi yelled, slashing into Clipping Deletor, Evo. "Arrrrghh!"

"Tsukuyomi!" Amaterasu glanced to right, to see that Tsukuyomi was now locked. In her moment of distraction, the Link Joker unit in front of her, Companion Star Star-vader Photon, locked the CEO.

"We're done for!" LuLu yelled, her orb firing energy blasts at the Link Joker invaders.

"It's not over yet!" CoCo was summoning power into her staff but was abruptly cut short when Juxtapose Deletor, Gaele locked her.

"Co-" LuLu was shortly locked as well. Euryale's snakes posed a threat but the Link Joker units did not seem fazed.

"Got any bright ideas, princess?" Euryale yelled over the noise of children crying and people screaming. "If we can't do anything now, we're dead!"

"Do you think I don't know that?!" Imperial yelled back. The situation seemed helpless when a Gravity Collapse Dragon was about to lock her, until incredible power exploded from within her. "NO! I WILL DEFEND THE ORACLE THINK TANK AND ITS CITIZENS!" Rising up into the air, she felt as though chains that had once shackled her had now exploded. Power magic coursed through her veins, and she pointed at the locked allies. At once, the rings broke and the cards enlarged, returning the units to their original form.

"What's going on?" Tsukuyomi asked. All present looked up and watched as Imperial fired magical blasts without stopping, banishing the surrounding units. Flying high up, Daughter sped away from the scene to help out the rest of the Oracle Think Tank.

"It's no use, we're going to be locked!" Promise Daughter cried.

"Wait, what's that?" Sister Fromage pointed to the sky. A being wrapped in bright light was raining magical blasts down at the invaders, and one by one they rapidly began to disappear. The units that were locked were released from the black rings that bound them. All stared up high as the being descended to the ground, the invaders having gone away in defeat. Imperial Daughter felt the power lessen considerably, and she stood in pure as shock as everyone stared at her.

"Did I do something?" She asked. A little child walked up to her and smiled as Daughter picked her up.

"C-Can I be like you someday?" She asked.

"Um.. If you work hard.. maybe?" Daughter said nervously. Soon, people of all ages surrounded the Imperial princess, praising her for saving them all. "H-Hey! One at a time, I'll fall if all of you want to be carried!"

Time Setting: 10:34AM, two days later.

Setting: Oracle Think Tank temple square (They have those.. right?).

"I suppose I owe you an apology." Euryale said to Daughter, who was overseeing the re-construction of the buildings in the Oracle Think Tank territory. "You really are one powerful princess."

"Thank you." Daughter smiled. "And what I said back there? I'm sorry for that too."

"Oh, that? That's all behind us now." Euryale waved a hand. "You saved my life, the least I could do is forget all our past regrets."

"I'll do the same for you." Daughter nodded.

"Friends?"

"Does it even need to be said?" Euryale smiled.

Time Setting: 3:12PM, the following week.

Setting: Magic Laboratory No. 7

"I feel lucky today!" LuLu cheered. "We can do this!"

"With your help," Daughter patted Euryale on the back. "We can finally complete this."

"Thank you, princess." Euryale grinned. "It would be an honor to be your test subject." Stepping up onto the testing platform, Euryale gave the thumbs up.

"We're ready! Let's do this!" LuLu charged up her orb, and transferred the magic to CoCo's staff. The staff received magic power which was then fired at Euryale. The room lit up, and when it had subsided, Euryale was standing on the other side of the laboratory.

"The teleportation spell worked at last!" CoCo cheered. The group came back together and celebrated, patting themselves on the back for a job well done. From that day on, all magic projects were passed smoothly and easily with very few bumps, thanks to the guidance of Euryale, the wisdom of Daughter and the enthusiasm of LuLu and CoCo.

Author's Ending Section:

That was a lot of fun to write, even if it did cause me to keep flicking through Link Joker pages to find the units that have lock skills (seriously that Gallatin Dilaton though..). Once again, thank you James95 for your requests!

Will the second part of 'A Troubling Day' be uploaded tonight for 'Days in the Castle'? I don't know! We'll have to wait and see!
