WHOOOOOOOOO YEAH YEAH YEAH LOOK WHO'S BACK? ITS BEEN ONLY 9 MONTHS YOU GUYS ONLY 9 MONTHS AHAHAHAHAHA But yeah, anyway, I got super inspired playing Breath of the Wild (which is now my favorite Zelda game, its so godly, go play it if you haven't already) and so it got me back in my Zelda writing mojo finally, which means another new chapter of this disaster. Though... given some things that... happen in this chapter... I have a feeling a lot of you aren't gonna like me too much after it but oh well. I'm writing this story for me, and this is something I wanted to write, so here it is! But before we begin I need to make this VERY clear:
WARNING: Because of some... elements in this chapter, this one gets a solid M rating, ok? THERE IS EXPLICIT SEXUAL CONTENT AHEAD which includes possibly non-consensual sexual actions depending on if you wanna look at the broad scheme of things. Oh, and uh, there's also alcohol mentions too if that bothers you. So If you still wanna read the chapter but don't wanna read any of that, I'll put a star where it stars (it pretty much goes on for the rest of the chapter after that point).
But anyway, with warnings out of the way, I suppose I have nothing else to say. Let's get started!
Chapter 26: The Sorceress and the Hero
For years she had been dreaming of this moment. And now that it was finally hers, it was somehow even more incredible than she could have hoped.
Cia's eyes scarcely left Link for a moment as he strode alongside her, their arms interlocked as they sauntered through the garden. Seeing as how the hero's affections for her were still new, the black witch decided not to push things too fast, lest her magic somehow falter, which was why she figured she'd take things slow at first. Test the waters of his love for her, so to speak. After all, with him held in her thrall as he was now, they would have plenty of time to move forward together.
Still, not as much time as Cia would have liked. Ganondorf's threat from earlier that very day still hung heavy and horrific in her mind. Three days. That was all she had to prepare Link for battle against the Gerudo king. Three days to empower him, to shower her magic and strength upon him, to steel him for the fight of his life, for his ultimate destiny. And she hated it. She hated so much that she had to be the one to thrust him into this deadly battle. In eras past, the princess had always been the one to do so, urging him into combat against this great evil without so much as a second thought for his wellbeing. And now, as much as she wished it wasn't so, Cia stood to do the exact same thing. It was all out of necessity of course; after all, the prophecy was very specific. Only the one of the spirit of the hero could defeat the king of darkness. She knew that, had committed it to memory and engrained it upon her mind with each one of his lives she had borne witness to.
It still didn't reassure her though.
Still, three days was at least some time for her to work with instead of none at all. And besides, heroes with less experience than Link had faced off against Ganondorf and won. Who was to say that he couldn't as well?
Yet even so, Cia did decide to take this time with her hero alone, more out of celebration over her triumph than anything else. The black witch had foregone her armor, and instead clad herself in an elegant silky gown, one that could easily be telling of royalty. Without her high heels, she stood quite a bit shorter than Link, which was something she had no complaints about. After all, she was more than happy to smile up at him adoringly as they enjoyed their romantic stroll.
"You know," Link spoke up, interrupting the black witch's worried musings. "I never realized it before but… this place is really beautiful." He smiled as he picked one of the nearby blue roses before gently positioning it in Cia's hair. "Almost as beautiful as you, my lady."
Cia sighed with deep satisfaction upon hearing this, her heart swelling with so much affection for him that she could scarcely contain it. With each sweet nothing he said to her, her love for him seemed to grow even more, if that was even possible. The way he looked to her with each glance, with true adoration and fondness, filled her with a warmth she couldn't even begin to describe. A warmth that, she hoped, would never have to end.
"You flatter me, my hero," she laughed melodiously, leaning against him as they continued their walk. "For certainly, you are the most magnificent thing in this garden… And that is something I hope will never change."
"Why would it ever change?" Link asked with a soft grin, pulling the black witch towards him. "As long as you're here, there's nowhere else I'd rather be."
"Oh…" Cia sighed once more, nearly moved to tears by his loving words. "I adore you… I adore you so much… Do you know that?"
Link responded by taking her hands in his and placing his lips against them chastely. "I do know that. I also know that I adore you."
"More than anyone?" she asked, her voice a whisper as they drew even closer together.
"More than anyone."
"More… more than Zelda?"
The hero let out a disdainful scoff upon hearing this, his expression darkening at the mere thought of the princess who had so painfully betrayed him. "Definitely more than her. But we don't need to talk about her anymore. After all," he paused as he placed a gentle hand under her chin, guiding her fervent gaze up to him. "It's just you and me now, my lady. And that's all that matters…"
Cia knew this wasn't fully the case, but she wasn't about to interrupt such a romantic moment with such ominous things, especially as their lips met once more. It was sweet, warm, gentle, and passionate to be sure, yet still innocent, and it left the black witch craving more. She wanted to move beyond simple kisses and embraces. She wanted him, in the deepest, fullest sense. She wanted to know him, to know every muscle and bone of his body. She wanted him to explore her, to greet her flesh and curves with intense, carnal touches and kisses that would sweetly linger upon her long after they were over.
She wanted his innocence. And by the goddesses, she was going to get it.
"Link…" she groaned as their lips parted, though they still hovered close. "We…. I… I want…"
"What do you want, my lady?" he asked with endless loyal obedience and devotion. "Whatever it is, I'll make sure you get it. I promise."
The black witch shuddered, her desire for him growing more and more with each passing second, especially as he pressed his warm lips to her neck. Her heart ached for him, more than it ever had, even before he had professed his love to her. All of her usual confidence and authority seemed to wane under his gentle touch. Her power, strength, verve, all were gone, replacing her with but the simple young woman she really was. A young woman who endlessly craved something she had never even known before. She would take his innocence from him yes, but in return, she would gladly give him hers.
"Link," she tried again, forcing her voice to be firmer than she could really manage as she started to move her hands gradually down his chest. "I… I want us to-"
A sudden crash from inside the palace cut the black witch off, startling both her and her hero by its abruptness. "W-what was that?!" Link asked in apt alarm, locking Cia into a protective embrace.
The black witch's confusion soon turned into fury as she heard a familiar roar rattle the palace, one that filled her with unspeakable rage the moment she heard it. "For the love of the goddesses, can't I have just one moment of peace with my hero?!" she growled, her staff appearing in her hand as her gown shifted back into her usual battle armor. "It's Volga and Wizzro," she explained to Link. "Those two idiots will be my ruin, for sure. But I have my ways of dealing with them…"
"My lady, wait," Link interrupted, placing a hand before his beloved. "You don't need to stress yourself. The last thing we'd want is worry lines forming on that gorgeous forehead of yours." To emphasize his point, he planted a loving kiss upon hear forehead, one that she happily accepted. "I'll handle them."
Cia caught Link's infectious smirk, eager to see whatever he had in mind for dealing with the rabble that was her generals. Together, they headed for the palace entrance, though the black witch stopped the hero before he could go inside and discipline her henchmen. "Hold on a moment, love," she put a hand before the hero. "In case you see it fit to use force against those fools, then it's only fair that I return this to you." With a simple flash of her scepter, the Master Sword materialized, floating above Link before handing gently in his outstretched hands.
"Thank you, my lady," the hero accepted this gift with a gracious smile, thankful to feel its familiar weight in his hands once more. He couldn't quite remember how he had lost it, but he was glad to know that Cia had managed to recover it and keep it safe for him in the meantime.
"Of course, dear," Cia nodded, looking over him and his sword. "It suits you… It always has. You're a constant pair, you and that sword. I trust you will use it well."
"Oh, I intend to," Link affirmed, strapping the blade to his back before going in. The black witch lingered near the door, content to observe whatever it was the hero might do and deciding to intervene only if she had to.
Disarrayed chaos was unfolding within the palace's grand foyer. Volga seemed to be an absolute frenzy, lashing his spear out at any spare monster that happened to be wandering about and killing them all without hesitation. Wizzro simply hovered over the scene, observing the dragon knight's fury with a smug, amused grin and showing no signs of trying to stop it. The madness only came to a grinding halt once Link entered the room, though the pause didn't last long, especially as Volga set his sights on the hero.
"YOU!" the dragon knight roared, his vision red with fury. A fury that was far beyond that of just of a warrior towards his foe. Rather, there was jealousy behind it, jealousy that burned as hot as the flames surrounding Volga as he charged for the hero without delay.
Link met his opponent's strike squarely using the firm edge of the Master Sword. With a surprising amount of strength, the hero shoved the dragon knight back, halting any further possible attacks by swiftly pointing the tip of the blade right at his neck. "I don't think you want to play this kind of game with me," Link said darkly, glaring at Volga with palpable ire.
"No, I don't think you want to play at this with me, boy," the dragon knight growled viciously. "Especially since you stand against me alone. I must admit: I've been waiting for this moment. A duel of skill and strength between just the two of us, with none of your pathetic little allies to aid you. It's long overdue."
"Like I would need any of them to help me take you down," Link scoffed, swinging his sword out without warning. Wizzro let out an intrigued laugh from his high vantage point as Volga stumbled backward, a bleeding slice torn across his collarbone already. The dragon knight became even more provoked upon receiving this wound, as light as it was, which was why he had no qualms about charging for the hero with his pike aimed right for his heart. Link easily and smoothly outmanurvered him however, stepping to the side and plowing Volga in the gut with a pommel of his sword before skillfully twisting it in his grip and preforming a clean backhand slice. The dragon knight's spear fell out of his grip as he let out a pained cry, wrapping his arms around the heavy cut that the evil-banishing sword had left across his chest. Volga had no idea how, but it had managed to easily tear through his thick armor as though it were nothing, something that Link clearly took smug pride in as he quickly made his next move. Using his mere strength alone, the hero forcefully kicked the dragon knight in his injured chest, shoving him to the ground hard. Before Volga could even try to recover, the hero slammed his foot down on his chest hard, pinning him to the ground before aiming his sword right at the dragon knight's throat.
"It'd probably be in your best interest to stay down," Link informed pointedly. Wizzro could scarcely hold back his sadistically amused cackle at seeing the prideful dragon knight go down so easily, though he was quickly silenced by a single hateful glare from the hero, one that spoke of his intention to do the very same to the dark wizard when he was through.
"You insolent whelp!" Volga seethed with burning rage, struggling hard to get out from under the hero. "The moment I rise again, I will take immense pleasure in ripping you limb from limb."
"Believe me, I'd love to do the same to you," Link deadpanned coldly. "But unfortunately, I know my lady still needs you, even if you are completely useless. So I guess I'll let you live. For now."
"Oh ho…" Wizzro mused, still hovering a safe distance above the scene and out of the reach of the hero's blade. "His lady, hm? Looks like Cia's plan actually worked after all…"
After momentarily stunning the downed dragon knight with another brutal kick, the hero backed off, still keeping his guard up, especially as Volga quickly stumbled to his feet despite his injuries. Link didn't even try to stop the dragon knight as he rammed into him, gripping him by the throat tightly as he held him up against the wall.
"You're a pathetic, mindless, foolish child," Volga snarled, his draconian teeth bared as he glared at the hero he was strangling, who simply returned his glare with an infuriating smirk. "You can't even see the obvious when its right in front of your face! Say what you want about me being useless, but at least I will not be thoughtlessly reduced to nothing more than Cia's obedient little pleasure toy like you, hero!"
"That's QUITE enough, Volga!" Cia shouted with a rage that surpassed even that of the dragon knight's as her magic broke his hold upon her hero. Volga cried out as he was violently thrown back, hitting the ground hard as Link landed gently and generally unharmed thanks to the black witch's power. After taking the time to make sure the hero was alright, Cia spun around, her mask and headdress appearing as she faced her general and refused to spare him from her wrath. "You sniveling, moronic, traitorous fool! Don't you ever touch him again! If I so much as hear you threaten my hero again, I will ensure you die where you stand! That goes for both of you," she finished, sending a cold scowl at Wizzro as he hesitantly glided down.
"B-but Mistress Cia," Volga attempted to interject defensively. "That… that boy, he-"
"He is your new master and you are to treat him with the same respect due to me," the black witch remarked, the orange eyes of her mask seeming to glow with rage. Behind her, the hero sent the dragon knight a triumphant smirk, clearly reveling in seeing his longstanding foe now forced to grovel before him. Volga barred his teeth and growled hostilely at him, but Cia was quick to silence him with a heavy blow across the face. "Can't you listen to a word that's said to you?!" she shouted, infuriated. "As punishment for this insolence, I demand that you relinquish your spear until further notice. Let's see how supposedly 'tough' you are without it."
"What?!" Volga asked in offended alarm, gripping onto his prized weapon tightly. "Mistress Cia, you cannot-"
"I can, and I will," Cia asserted, using her magic to rip the dragon knight's spear away from him. "And you should consider yourself deeply lucky that I'm not going to do worse than that. If you want to act like a petty child, Volga, then you should expect to be treated like one. Isn't that right, Link?"
"It sure is, my lady," Link smirked coldly, wrapping an arm around Cia's waist, much to Volga's hateful disgust.
"Now that we all understand each other…" the black witch continued, still scowling at the dragon knight relentlessly. "Both of you may return to your duties. We have some… business to attend to…" Cia bit her lip lustfully as she pressed against Link, who readily satisfied her with a gentle kiss on the cheek.
Without sparing either of the generals another word, the black witch and her hero proceeded past them at a prideful pace, their arms interlocked as they scaled the staircase to the palace's second floor. Volga and Wizzro watched with relative disdain as the couple left, though they waited until they were both well out of earshot to start complaining about them.
"I hope she doesn't seriously expect either of us to listen to that dumb kid," the dark wizard scoffed, crossing his bony arms. "Just because she's brainwashed him into having her way with him doesn't make automatically upgrade him to the level of some kind of god."
"I swear by the goddesses themselves that I'll kill that boy before he… he even knows what hit him!" Volga snarled, quickly correcting his statement as he stood, his hands clenched into tight fists.
"Ooo looks like the race to Cia's bed is on…" Wizzro cackled in mocking amusement. "But sorry Volga, but it looks like the hero's already beaten you there."
The dark wizard didn't have time to let out another laugh as the dragon knight lashed out at him with a wide swipe of his claws, though Wizzro easily teleported out of its path. "I already told you!" he shouted in immense frustration. "I harbor no such ridiculous "feelings" for our mistress!"
"Well if that's the case," Wizzro began, floating casually out of Volga's reach. "Then why do you want to get rid of that boy so badly?"
"Because—because I… I—I… he…" Volga stammered, trying to reach a reason that was far removed from jealousy and having a very hard time doing so.
Wizzro laughed once again, so hard that he had to wipe a tear away from his large, singular eye. "Well, well, well! Looks like the cat's got the dragon's tongue! Oh, but don't worry, Volga. I'm sure Cia's little spell over that hero won't last. And the minute its broken, you'll finally have our dear mistress all to yourself, just like you clearly desire…"
Not bothering to stick around and hear any protested the dragon knight might make to his claims, Wizzro disappeared into darkness as he usually did, his teasing chortle echoing in the grand hall even after he was gone. Volga let out a harsh growl, flames lightly surrounding his form as he glared daggers up at the doors leading to the second story, doors that Cia had made sure to close the moment her and Link had passed through them. Doors that an ever-growing part of the dragon knight wished he could have passed through with black witch instead. "It won't last…" he muttered in an attempt to reassure himself as he turned and began to head out, envy and desire stirring within him all at once. "I'll make sure of that…"
"I'm terribly sorry for how that miscreant of a dragon knight assaulted you, Link," Cia frowned as she fretted over the hero, checking him for any sign of injury. "If it is your desire, then I could always punish him even more for your sake. Perhaps a good flogging or a few weeks exile to the desert or northern mountains. I'll even let you pick…"
"As tempting as that sounds, I think I'll settle for what you did," Link remarked, turning to face the black witch and cupping both of her hands in his. "I don't see any reason to go overboard, after all. And besides, watching Volga literally simmer like that was hilarious!"
"That's one of the many things I've always loved about you, my hero," the black witch said with a light chuckle. "Your sense of mercy and justice becomes you." Cia's warm grin faded however as she met her hero's contented gaze, knowing that the harmony they enjoyed now could not last forever. "Unfortunately… that mercy is something you will have to abandon if you hope to survive what is to soon befall us…"
"What do you mean, my lady?" Link asked, confused.
"Link… I…" the black witch paused to steel herself before continuing, her tone serious and grave. "There is a darkness coming. One that… you have faced in your previous lives but likely have no recollection of in this one. It is an evil that has haunted Hyrule for countless generations, always poisoning the land with its malice and treachery. This evil made itself known to me quite recently, and… in its lust to conquer the kingdom, it has placed a heavy threat upon your head. Upon both our heads, really… A-and… I just want to make sure that you'll be-"
"My lady," the hero suddenly interrupted, gripping Cia's hands a bit tighter as he met her uneasy gaze with both concern and reassurance. "This… thing, whatever it is… if it dared to threaten you, then I promise you that I will not only protect you from it with every fiber of my being, but I'll make it wish it had never crossed paths with either of us. Because no one, no one threatens my beautiful sorceress and lives."
"Oh… Link…" Cia breathed, practically moved to tears by this vow. She had heard so many heroes make similar promises to their princesses in ages past. But never before had the black witch imagined a hero making such a wonderful pledge of protection to her. Unable to contain her rush of emotions, Cia swung her arms around Link's shoulders and lost herself in a passionate kiss, one that he fully returned as he folded his strong arms around her securely. Still, as they parted, the black witch knew she couldn't let this vow be a one-sided one. After all, she knew just how self-sacrificial heroes were, especially this one. Which was why she intended on setting the record straight with him here and now. "I want us to do this together…" she whispered, pressing her cheek against his affectionately. "You protect me, I protect you. We protect each other. So that one day, we won't have to any longer."
"Sounds like a plan…" Link murmured calmly, caressing Cia's back gently and lovingly. They held their romantic embrace for quite some time, though when it was over, the black witch still held onto her hero's hand as she led him to the highest room of the palace: her own. Her intentions weren't sensual at the moment, however, as instead of stripping him bare and shoving him onto the bed like a large part of her wanted to, she instead took him to the balcony. Cia couldn't help but laugh as she heard a small gasp escape Link as he stepped forward, his eyes wide with wonder as he took in the view.
"Whoa…" he mused, clinging onto the railing as he took in the scope of the landscape visible beyond the forbidden forest. "This is incredible! You can see all of Hyrule from up here!"
"Indeed," Cia nodded with an amused smirk as she leaned against the railing beside him. "You know… there were so many times when I would stand up here alone… dreaming of the two of us being up here together and looking over our kingdom… And now that it's finally coming to pass… it's more than I could have ever dreamed of…"
Link gave her a soft, though somewhat bittersweet smile, nodding silently as he turned his attention to the view once more, his expression quickly fading into worry. Cia's own smile fell as she noticed this, which was why she was quick to place a gentle hand against his. "Something troubles you, my hero," she noted with concern. "What is it?"
"O-oh… it's just…" the hero sighed, glancing away from the black witch somewhat guiltily. "My lady, I'm happy here with you, I really am… I mean, you're kind, and affectionate and so, so beautiful. Everything that anyone could ever want. But… I can't help but think about what happened with Zel—I mean, the princess."
"Link-" Cia started, not wanting to discuss this, but the hero continued nonetheless.
"I just… can't believe I never saw what was right in front of me all along," he sighed, running a hand through his golden hair as the dying sunlight afar in Hyrule's sunset skies cast tired shadows across his face. "I guess the thought of being more to someone like her than just another soldier to die for her cause was… it was something I wanted to believe in. And I did believe it… And I was wrong."
"Link, you were never the wrong one in all this," Cia comforted, placing a hand against his face and turning his gaze towards her. "Only the princess was wrong. She deceived you, led you to believe a lie about something that never was. But trust me when I tell you that none of this was your fault. Please, please never think that it was… I can't stand to see you bear such a great burden that isn't even yours in the first place…"
The hero was silent for a long time upon hearing this, only somewhat comforted as he stared at the black witch intently, a wave of remorse washing over him as he looked at her. "Goddesses… how did it take me so long?" he muttered incredulously.
"So long for what?" Cia raised an eyebrow, confused herself this time.
"For me to realize just how amazing you are…" Link shook his head, letting out a small, anxious laugh. "For the longest time I thought you wanted me for nothing more than just a trophy. I imagined you doing… horrible things to me out of lust and nothing else… And I thought it was all going to end with you killing me… or worse…"
"Link," the black witch gripped her hero's arms tightly, her tone desperate as she tried to hold back a sob. "You know that I would never ever do any of those things to you. I wouldn't even entertain the thought."
"I know that, now," Link sighed, unable to look her in the eye any longer as deep shame filled his tone. "Because you love me. You always have. There's no question about that. And how was I ready to repay you for that love? By running a sword through you for the sake of whatever the princess deemed to be 'peace'. And honestly? That's what's tearing me up the most."
Tears finally slipped down Cia's cheeks upon hearing this, her heart breaking for the clear guilt her beloved hero was going through. And in the midst of it, the black witch couldn't help but feel as though some of that guilt was her own fault. In the immediate aftermath of Link's declaration of love for her, Cia had made sure to wipe his mind clear of any memory of her actually capturing and using her vines to bend his will towards her desires. In place of those lost memories, she had supplanted false ones, ones that made the hero believe he had been gravely wounded in the Hylian charge on the palace of souls and abandoned by Zelda and all of his other allies, deemed nothing more than a worthless failure by his so-called friends as they left him to die. From there, the black witch had made sure that Link thought that she had been the one to come to his rescue, and while she gently nursed him back to health, he had deeply, and genuinely fallen in love with her, having no gripes about it whatsoever after what the princess had supposedly done to him. It was a suitable lie, one that Cia even occasionally managed to convince herself was true. But even despite it, she had been unable to do anything to ease whatever lingering regrets he still had, including the ones concerning her.
Until now.
"Link…" the black witch choked, wrapping her arms around him in a tight embrace. "Please… Do not let such dark thoughts haunt you any longer. All of that is in the past now… Look to the future instead… To the two of us being together… forever…"
"I'm trying to…" Link admitted, looking out to Hyrule once more, his blue eyes distant and troubled and his tone pensive and sad. "It's just… every time I think about how I was so prepared to hurt you… to… to kill you even, I… I just…" He trailed off, sucking in an uneven breath as he gripped the balcony's railing tightly. "My lady…" he muttered remorsefully, closing his eyes and hanging his head. "I… I don't deserve you or your love…"
"No!" Cia immediately protested, quickly forcing his attention towards her. "Link, don't say things like that! You are deserving of more love than even I can supply you with! You… You have been through… unimaginable horrors in this life and countless others. Your soul, your spirit, has been beaten down and abused so many times before and it's not fair. Yet you couldn't see that; you've never been able to see that. But I have seen it; I've seen it all. So many lives of endless dedication and service and devotion and suffering and agony and grief, and for what? For a heartless princess who couldn't care less if you lived or died?"
Upon being reminded of Zelda yet again, Link said nothing in response, but rather he glanced away from the black witch, still enveloped in his shame. "Link," Cia said, her tone firmer this time as she grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze. "Link, please listen to me. I've watched your entire life play out with my own eyes. And if there's one thing I know about you, it's that your heart is filled with so much love to give. But love is only worth giving when it is returned in full. And, my darling hero, I will gladly give you my love, on one condition, of course."
"A-and what's that?" the hero asked, his heartache starting to ebb away as he looked to the black witch once again, her soft, gentle smile filling his soul with hope once again.
"Give me your love in return."
Link could no longer contain his overflowing emotions upon hearing this. With a sharp intake of air, he suddenly locked Cia in a tight, frantic embrace, not hesitating to press his lips against hers firmly. The black witch was admittedly surprised by this, but still, she couldn't complain, especially as he easily lifted her off her feet, quickly spinning her in a blithe, romantic flair. She could sense a certain desperation to the hero's kiss, one that spoke of his deep inner turmoil, but of something else too. Something that Cia herself was well acquainted with: desire.
And, it was the only sign she needed to tell her that the time for hesitation was over.
"Link," Cia breathed heavily as their lips broke, though the hero was quick to pull her back into another deep kiss, one that lasted almost as long as the first. As they parted for air a second time, it was clear that Link had become addicted to the taste of her lips against his, as he was fully prepared to go in for a third time. Cia, however, stopped him, a light laugh escaping her as she gently pressed her fingertips against his awaiting lips. "Link, please," she remarked mirthfully, her violet eyes seeming to sparkle with enchantment, which seemed to perfectly match the fiery spark in her hero's blue ones. "I believe I can give you something even better than mere kisses…"
"My lady, what-" Link attempted to ask, though Cia abruptly silenced him.
"Shh, love…" she purred, a sensual smirk crossing her features. "I do believe it's finally time… time for me to show you the true depths of my love for you…"
**** (! warning!)
Link could only meet her smile with a bewildered expression for a moment, though when he finally understood what she was implying, he seemed to freeze up entirely. His face briefly paled before lighting up bright red, and Cia noticed with slight dismay that he was no longer able to look her in the eye. The hero himself broke into a cold sweat, his heart starting to beat fast as he tried to escape from the black witch's embrace, only for her to keep him firmly held in place. "M-my lady…" he finally choked, his voice tight and extremely nervous. "I… I've never…"
"Neither have I," Cia's coy grin remained, especially as she brushed the tips of her fingers against her hero's neck. Link couldn't hold back a longing groan at this, her very touch seeming to spark a fire within him that he was having an increasingly hard time controlling. "So…" the black witch continued, her voice still soft and lusty as she drew in closer to the hero, who could only meet her hypnotic gaze with wide eyes. "I suppose this will be an entirely new experience for us both…"
Link could only nod breathlessly as he somehow allowed Cia to take his hand and lead him back into her bedroom. His mind was racing with a million thoughts and fears at once, all of them multiplying tenfold as the black witch gently pushed him into the plush chair near her fireplace. Confusion washed over the hero's face, though it soon turned to anxious anticipation as Cia stood over him, her legs spread wide and a hungry grin on her ruby lips as she raised an eyebrow at him. "You're adorable when you're nervous," she chuckled before backing up a bit to give him some space to breathe. It was space that Link almost didn't want however, especially as the black witch started to walk away from him.
"My lady?" he asked softly, already craving for her to be close to him again. After all, with her presence came a rush of exhilaration and desire he had never known before in his entire life. And as much as it threw the rational side of his mind into an absolute panic, the irrational side craved it more than air itself.
"Be patient, darling," Cia laughed, her voice sounding like a beautiful song to the hero as she sent him a wry wink. "After all, it's only fair that I make you wait, seeing as how you made me wait for so many years for you. But still, you'll have me soon enough. For now, I think it best if we… prepare a little… hm?"
"P-prepare?" Link dared to ask, his cheeks burning warm as Cia casually slipped the shoulder piece of her armor off.
The black witch nodded, unable to hide her gleeful smile. "In the meantime, dear, why don't you take this opportunity to… loosen up a bit? Forget all your woe and regret and be at ease…" Cia's grin deepened as she snapped her fingers, a small table with several elegant beverages, all of them clearly alcoholic, appearing not too far from where the hero was sitting. "I promise, it will be much better if you are…"
Link frowned at what the black witch had laid before him, shaking his head as he looked away. "My lady, I've never really… W-well… I don't know if-"
"Link, please," Cia rolled her eyes in slight exasperation as she walked over to him. "You're an adult; you're allowed to act like one. Besides, indulging just a little is far from a crime." The black witch paused as she poured him a tall, fancy glass of some sort of gold, bubbling liquid, one that he was innocently unfamiliar with. "Just try it," she encouraged, handing him the drink. "It's champagne. I promise you'll like it, love. Plus, it will give you something to occupy yourself with while I make myself more… presentable…"
After gently caressing the hero's cheek, Cia strolled off into her nearby closet, sending him one more seductive wink before closing the door behind her. Link let out the breath he hadn't realized he had been holding in as she left him alone, unable to do anything but frown as he looked down at the sparkling glass in his hand. A small, almost fractured part of him was screaming that this was all wrong, and not just the champagne either, but everything about this. A rush of dread burst into his heart, one that felt far different from the remorse he had been suffering from earlier. Something told him, warned him almost, that if he went through with this, with Cia, then there would be no turning back.
But he wanted her, oh goddesses did he want her. Her immense beauty and seductive confidence beckoned him, invited every instinct and drive he didn't even know he had. She was sheer pleasure, a pleasure that he couldn't wait to familiarize himself with intimately. His heart swelled for her, his mind longed for her, and his lower half… well, it simply would not let him rest until he had her.
And yet… for as much as he wanted her, he couldn't deny that something felt off about it all. Somewhere in the back of his mind, thoughts of vines and magic danced distantly, lost in a sea of passion and desire. The familiar, frightening feeling of his thoughts crashing into each other all at once started to hit him again, and immediately, he remembered how he practically fell apart the last time this happened. His free hand gripped the side of his chair tightly, his breathing growing shallow as he looked for a way out. He couldn't bear to disappoint Cia by trying to satisfy her in such a state. He had to postpone this, to put it off until he was truly ready, he had to-
The hero suddenly froze as glanced down at the drink still in his hand, its delicate glass base gripped tightly in his hand to the point that it was near ready to shatter. "Forget all your woe and be at ease…" the black witch had implored, providing him with this very method of doing so. Link wasn't entirely sure what kind of effect alcohol would even have on him. After all, he had heard tale of many a soldier becoming enamored with the stuff to the point of pathetic dependency. His uncle used to drink on occasion, mostly more rugged drinks like whisky or Hylian ale, but he had always advised his nephew not to follow his poor example by even trying it at all. Still, despite such warnings, Link couldn't help but be curious all the same. And besides, it would certainly be nice to get out of his own head for a while, especially considering what him and Cia were about to do.
Throwing all of his inhibitions away, the hero slowly lifted the glass up and took his first sip, nearly choking at the admittedly bitter taste of it. Yet somehow, he managed to swallow it, he found that it sparked an interesting kind of warmth within him, one that was like the gentle flickering of a candle and one that lasted far too briefly for his liking. Bracing himself for the sour taste this time, Link took another sip of the champagne, a larger one this time, allowing himself to savor the calming sensation it spread throughout his body as he reclined back in his chair a bit. Cia seemed to be taking her time in getting ready, leaving the hero to finish his fist glass soon enough, and seeing as how the taste was starting to grow on him, he took the opportunity to pour himself another. A gradual wave of contentment started to wash over him, replacing his anxiety with peace as he basked in the glow of the nearby fire. It felt as though every part of him was tingling, but it was far from an uncomfortable sensation. Instead it made him feel lighter, more relaxed than he had ever really felt before, and more confident too. Certainly, he would be ready to reciprocate the black witch in full now. There was no way he couldn't be. He was everything she had ever dreamed of, and she was everything he didn't know he needed.
They would fit together perfectly.
Still, nothing could really prepare Link for the moment Cia finally did emerge from her closet, the image of tantalizing beauty itself. The hero's jaw dropped, his now empty glass slipping out of his hand and to the floor with a dull thud but not breaking somehow. The black witch had clad herself in a stunning, elegant silk negligee, its lacy black design revealing her shoulders and most of her legs, as well as pronouncing her already generous brests even moreso. Her silver locks hung loose and short, her cheeks flush in a soft blush, and her lips as crimson as blood. There was an telling hint of eager readiness in her eyes as she leaned against the doorframe, taking the sight of her amazed hero in. She could already tell from how his pupils were dilated just the slightest bit that he had indeed taken her advice and indulged himself a little, though not too much. His mind would still be there, but not as fretful or worried as it had been before, which was good; after all, she was going to enjoy this night for all it was worth.
"So…" she spoke, her voice low and lusty. "What do you think?"
"M-my lady…" Link stammered, stumbling to his feet. He swayed for a moment, the world seeming to briefly spin in his vision before everything centered on Cia once again. "You… you look… incredible…"
"Thank you, love," the black witch purred, sauntering towards him. "I'm sure I'll be able to say the same about you in a moment…" The hero took in a sharp breath as Cia's touch met him, her hands falling upon his belt first as she slowly undid it and slipped it off of him. His hands were trembling a little at his sides, not with fear this time, but with excitement, especially as the black witch playfully pulled his cap off his head, running her hands through his hair gently as she pulled him in for a long, steady kiss. The moment they parted, Cia worked her hand up the length of Link's scarf, easily unpinning it and letting it slide off his shoulders, along with his armor. Upon a mere nod from the black witch, the hero rushed to kick his boots off, not wanting anything to delay the inevitable. From there, Cia worked slowly from layer to layer, peeling Link's tunic off of him first, followed by his chainmail, then undershirt, until nothing but his bare chest remained. It was the black witch's turn to gasp this time, her eyes growing wide at the untainted perfection in front of her. She had always known her hero to be strong, but he was even more muscular and toned than she could have imagined. Faded battle scars marred an otherwise immaculate surface here and there, but even so, Cia couldn't help but think they made him even more alluring. Unable to resist him, the black witch brushed her lips against his chest, right over his heart, while Link gently massaged her shoulders all the while. When she had had her fill of letting her lips explore nearly every inch of his chest, she steadily began pushing him towards her elegant canopy bed, not stopping until he fell backwards onto it, taking her with him.
The couple shared a warm laugh at this as they slid onto the bed together properly, still not relinquishing their hold on each other for a moment. With a simple wave of Cia's hand, the curtains to the canopy flew closed and several small orbs of warm light appeared high above them, casting just enough of a glow for them to enjoy each other's presence by. The black witch's smile grew wistful and almost tearful as she hovered over her hero, who could only stare up at her with relaxed contentment as he lay under her. She had been dreaming for so long for this moment and finally, finally it was here. It was here, and it was going to be perfect. She knew.
"Link?" she murmured, leaning down to give him a soft kiss against his bare neck.
"Yes, my lady?" Link asked with a soft sigh, taking in how sweet and fragrant she smelled, like the champagne he had grown to have a penchant for.
"I love you," Cia cooed lightly, her tone sounding more youthful than it really was. "I love you so much…"
"And I love you…" the hero returned, his eyes slipping shut as he consented to the black witch removing the final barrier standing between them. He hardly even felt her slowly remove his slacks until his manhood was exposed to the open air. Cia herself froze, her hands on the waist of his pants that were only down to his knees, her face just as bright red as the Link's was. The hero could only really stare at the black witch though, the sudden fear creeping into his mind that he wasn't all that she had been hoping for. Cia quickly set his fears to ease however, as she placed a gentle hand against his member, running a smooth finger down the length of it, and taking delight and solace in how firm it was. Link couldn't hold back a feverish groan a this, his back arching as he savored her feather-light touch. The moment she was done, the black witch silenced him with a kiss, one that was deeper than any they had ever shared. Their tongues brushed against each other, slowly at first, then desperately as each one tried to explore every inch of the other's mouth. In the midst of this, Cia finished the task of slipping Link's trousers off, only to realize that while he was now completely bare, she was still holding back.
An almost dark grin crossed her features as she pulled away from him, noting with satisfaction the look of disappointment that flashed over his face. With easy, gradual movements, she guided his hands to the bottom of her negligee, feelings them tremble in hers as she helped him start to pull it off of her. Seeing as how it was already quite short, there wasn't much to take off, but as soon as it was gone, Link found himself breathless once again. Cia's usual armor already exposed a good fraction of her breasts to the world, but the complete picture was something else to behold entirely. No longer confined by clothing or jewelry, the true curves and physical grace that the black witch had been blessed with were on full display. Her already immense beauty seemed to increase tenfold, if that was even possible. He could scarcely keep his hands from running their course down her sides before finding a place at the small of her back as she began to lower herself down upon him.
The very moment they pieced themselves together was met with a unified groan of sheer pleasure from them both. Cia's lips found a home on her hero's neck, her teeth and tongue pressed tight against it as she felt all of the air he had left in him leave him. Her hair already hung low over her eyes, tickling Link's chin lightly as he felt the warmth that the champagne had left him with seem to explode beautifully with each passing second. His mind had lost control to his instincts as they guided his hands to slide from her back to her breasts, cupping them both equally and gently. Cia wailed softly at this, and for a moment the hero thought he was hurting her and prepared to remove his touch, but she gripped his shoulders tightly as an unspoken command to keep them right where they were.
Thought had no place that bed and that was something they were both just fine with. Still, it was clear that Cia was the one really in control, especially as she caught Link off guard with another deep kiss. She hummed sensually as she licked the remaining taste of champagne from his mouth, though he suddenly surprised her with an unexpected upward thrust. The black witch broke from him instantly, a pleasured cry breaking free from her as she dug her fingers into his shoulders, nearly drawing blood.
"Oh, Link!" she shouted, her voice raw with uncontainable ecstasy. Without delay, she collapsed upon him fully, her legs tangling with his as his hands gripped her thighs tightly. Her own hands pressed against the sides of his face, the black witch rammed her mouth against his, hungry for all of the kisses he could give her, especially as he thrust forward once more.
"Oh… my lady…" Link groaned, his voice quivering as Cia gave him a moment of air. His speech was somewhat slurred but his eyes were bright and alive, though half-lidded as he looked to the beautiful angel inches above him. For just the briefest of moments though, he saw not an angel of silver-white hair and warm caramel skin, but of sunshine golden locks and fair pink flesh. It was a familiar image, almost achingly familiar. But still, it passed quickly from his overwhelmed mind, especially as his passion possessed his body once again.
As the hero attempted to roll over, Cia forcefully stopped him, her movements growing more aggressive and insistent as she hungered for more. As incredible as this was, it wasn't enough. With a newfound lust, the black witch pushed down upon her hero hard, eliciting a sharp, almost pained gasp from him. Her blood felt like it was on fire as she pushed her hands against his head even moreso, her fingertips digging into his hair and holding on like it was a vice as she kissed his chest deeply. Link let out a strangled cry as Cia pushed against him once more, ignoring her own pain from the suddenness of it all as forced him to bare into her even more. The hero's passion-numbed mind suddenly awakened at this, his eyes slipping shut as he cringed painfully. What had at first been gentle and slow had turned into something he hadn't anticipated. And yet, even so, it was something he had a hard time forcing himself to let go of.
"M-my lady…" Link gasped, breathless and anxious as his hands slipped from Cia's breasts to clench the bedsheets tightly.
"No," Cia growled fervently, her lips still placed against his chest. The usual sweet, loving tone she addressed him with was completely gone, instead replaced with an icy, dominating one. One that shook the hero to his very core. "Call me by my name, Link."
"C-Cia…" the hero's voice came out in almost a whine, tight and somewhat broken. Still, the black witch didn't seem to notice his apparent agony as she continued to pleasure herself until Link forced himself to speak again, despite his struggling mind being caught in a tremulous tide between ecstasy and fear. "Cia… I-I… Y-you're-"
Link was quickly cut off as Cia suddenly slammed her lips against his again, her hands pressed tightly against his chest this time. As if by magic, the hero's trembling form soon began to still, his mind going right along with him. As she broke apart from him, the black witch let out a satisfied sigh, lazily allowing herself to slowly roll off of him to lie beside him. Link's eyes were dull as he stared up at the lights still floating aloft above them, his legs bent at awkward angles as his chest heaved, vying for lost air. Cia clung tightly onto his arm, thanking him with light, smooth kisses upon his shoulder. She hadn't gotten everything she had wanted their first time, true, but she had gotten a taste, and a rather sweet one at that. And besides, she would have plenty of opportunities to get more.
The spell the black witch's kiss had cast upon the hero steadily took effect as his eyes soon slipped shut, his body finally relaxing fully as he fell into a stupor. Cia smiled as his head fell sideways, his golden bangs falling lazily over his face before she gently brushed them aside. The canopy was still thick with the heavenly warmth of their love making, a warmth that the black witch savored as she conjured a large comforter to sprawl over them both. Seeing as how Link was already out of it, Cia pulled one of his limp arms over her, relishing its secure, protective hold around her.
The black witch's thoughts were sweet and light as she drifted off to sleep alongside her hero, his breath gently falling upon the back of her neck as he slumbered. No matter how hard she tried, Cia couldn't stop smiling. And really, how could she now, held in the warm, loving embrace of her beloved hero's arms in the glowing aftermath of intimacy? After all, she had worked so hard to get to this moment, had poured her all into this goal, and at last it was hers to hold onto forever.
At last, she finally knew what it was like to have everything she had ever wanted.
Wooo boy like I said I bet you all are hating me right about now. Still, for my first time writing smut ever, this was a lot of fun! Probably something I won't do a ton of (there will probably be at least one more scene like this in this story though, but more... pure, I guess), but still. Anyway, I'd just like to apologize again for taking ages on this, but hey, looks like I'm back and hopefully here to stay! Because next time around, we're going to have a... legendary meetup ;) But anyway, here's the chapter question before I go: How are you all liking Breath of the Wild? Like I said, I adore it. I beat it last week and sobbed like a little baby and I still can't put it down. So let me know your thoughts in the reviews (and if I could ask for you guys to be... nice in the reviews? I know what i did in this chapter was kinda... nuts, but still, I would appreciate if the reviews section wasn't just a bunch of flip outs over CIA AND LINK HAD SEX WHAT?) But yeah don't forget to REVIEW! Until next time!
