Chapter FOURTY THREE
Natsu launched a Fire Dragon's roar at Valkyrie. Darque, who had been standing in front of her master, moved to the side.
Valkyrie held out her palm and a black hole appeared, sucking in the flames.
"Wha- That's cheating!" Natsu yelled. Valkyrie shrug. She absorbed an Iron Dragon's roar from Gajeel, looking completely relaxed.
Darque floated in the air, her legs crossed. "Now, that's what I call simple." She said. "And I don't like simple. Come on, Valkyrie."
"I agree." Jura said. "Fights like these should be more dramatic." He clapped his hands together, and a whole bunch of shark rocks erupted out of the ground beneath Bacchus, who jumped out of the way.
Natsu appeared behind the Quarto Cerberus mage, and attempted to deliver a fire enhanced kick to his side. The older mage easily dodged, and sent the Dragon Slayer flting back to the ground. He landed a second later, grinning like an idiot.
Natsu was back on his feet as well, and the mages just stood there, not moving.
"I just had a wonderful idea." Darque announced out of the blue. She turned to Valkyrie, and the two stared at each other for a while, before Valkyrie nodded.
"I like it." She decided. A black hole appeared beside the mage, and she stuck her hand inside. "I...pick...Natsu!" She flew forward, and raised her hand shrouded by black. She thrust forward, brushing her hand against Natsu as the Dragon Slayer jumped out of the way. Valkyrie landed neatly on her feet, and Darque joined her.
"Smoke please." Darque nodded, and her body burst into black mist. It wrapped around Valkyrie, hiding her from view.
Natsu flew forward, ready to attack the swirl of smoke.
"Idiot." Gajeel muttered.
The moment Natsu's fist made contact with the smoke, it exploded. The competitors covered their noses and mouths as the smoke filled the area. A few seconds later, it cleared.
No, it moved back towards Valkyrie, and reformed Darque.
"What?"
Two Natsu's stood a few feet in front of Valkyrie, looking at each other, confused expressions on their faces.
Valkyrie mockingly waved her hand, and she jumped back a few feet. "Now, it's time for guess the real Natsu."

"Gajeel-san is smart when he wants to be." Wendy said. "What if he decides to see which one is the real Natsu by making them both attack Valkyrie?"
"This plan was suggested by Darque, who has probably had several lifetimes of experience. Lucy's also very smart. She's probably thought through everything." Jellal said.
Meredy nudged Wendy. "See that trust?" She whispered.
Wendy nodded.
Meredy squealed. "This will be so interesting!" She waved off the weird looks the males sent her. "Nothing. Girl talk."

Gajeel crossed his arms, sniffing the air. Valkyrie smirked. Gemini could copy everythign of the person. Smell wasn't any different. Gajeel gritted his teeth and frowned. The other two mages looked interested, and didn't attack, probably to see where this led to.
"Okay. Which one of you is the real Natsu?" He asked.
Both Natsu's replied immidietly. "I am." They glared at eachother.
"Gajeel-san thinks that you are an idiot, Natsu-san." Valkyrie chimed in.
Both Natsu's turned to glare at her, then at the Iron Dragon Slayer. "What? How would you know?"
Valkyrie held back a laugh as she heard Gamini's comments in her head.
"I can do a lot of things." She summoned a black hold and pulled out a apple. She then used her illusion magic to make it look like it had transformed into a hot dog stand. "Even things like this." She snapped her finger and an illusional third Natsu appeared. She quickly made it disappear before Gajeel caught on its lack of scent. "Why wouldn't I be able to read minds?"
Through the link with her spirits, Lucy could tell which one was the real Natsu.
The real Natsu turned to look at Gajeel. "So you called me an idiot?" He asked. "Who are you to say that, Metal head?"
"My thoughts exactly." Gemi-Natsu agreed.
Gajeel growled, glaring at Valkyrie, seeming to have realized her plan.
"Shut up, flame brain. Can't you see that the woman is just trying to get us to fight each other?"
Gemi-Natsu tiled his head. "So? This is a battle! We're supposed to fight each other, right?" He sounded like he had realized that.
Real-Natsu nodded. "Right!" He turned to Gemi-Natsu. "Hey! I have no idea who you are, but I like the way you think! We can beat up this Metal brain here, then figure everything out!"
Gemi-Natsu exclaimed something and the two Natsus leaped at Gajeel, who's annoyed snarl was cut short as he jumped away from a flurry of fiery limbs.

"Considering how well that worked out, I think our plan to defeat the Fairy tail mages is really good." Valkyrie whispered.
Darque nodded. "I thought you were going to get caught." She said. "Several times."
Valkyrie smiled under her hood. "Me too. But I didn't, and I managed to get what I had gone to get."
The two Natsus and Gajeel were in a middle of a heated fight. Gajeel still seemed to be trying to reason with the Natsus, but looked like he was loosing his patience.
She took a deep breath and snapped her fingers.
One of the Natsu's suddenly burst into a puff of smoke. When it cleared, someone else stood in his place.
"E-E-E-Erza?" Natsu cried out. Gajeel froze with one arm held up, ready to strike.
Gasps of shock and surprise echoed around the stadium.
"Why you guys fighting?" 'Erza' demanded. The two mages seemed too shock to realize how it should have been impossible for Erza to appear in the middle of their fight. That gave Gemi-Erza enough time to grasp the two Draogn Slayers by their heads, and bash them together. They were roughly dropped onto the ground.
A black hole appeared underneath them, and the two were sucked in. 'Erza' disappeared along with them. "Heavy loads coming your way." Another black hole appeared outside their fighting area, and the two mages were dumped onto the ground. The medics rushed towards them and Valkyrie turned back to the fight.
"Ooooo...Harsh." Bacchus chuckled. "Beaten by a girl."
"You won't be saying that when I beat you." Valkyrie replied.
"But...can you?"
"I don't like drunks." Darque muttered. "I really don't."
"I'll leave him to you, then." Valkyrie said. Darque grinned playfully at her, and floated over to Bacchus.
"Is that real blood?" Bacchus asked absentmindedly as he looked at the spirit up and down. The Spirit, who had been summoned in her battle form, looked down at herself.
Darque nodded. "Yup. It comes from all the people I've..." Her expression melted into a smirk, her teeth bared and her eye glinting in the light. "killed."
The spirit flew forward and Bacchus grinned before the two clashed attacks.

"I call that 'abandoning'." Valkyrie muttered. "Sure go have fun by yourself, and leave me with the strongest mage. See if I care."
"You sent her away." Jura chuckled.
"Did I?" She asked. She frowned at Jura. "Sadly, I can't really absorb your moves, cause it won't really do anything." She muttered. "But lets have fun, okay?"
Jura smirked. "Of course."
Valkyrie opened a black hole in front of her, absorbing the chunks of sharp earth sent her way. She jumped into the air, a few seconds before the earth started to shake. A huge piece of earth jutted out of the ground where she had been standing.
An angered yell sounded from Bacchus, something like "Keep you fight to your side!", which went ignored.
"It's my turn!" Valkyrie straightened her posture. "Fire isn't very affection against earth." She muttered. "But how about..." A black hole appeared in front of her. A swirl of white and silver launched itself towards Jura. An earth shield appeared in front of the mage.

The mages of Fairy tail instantly recognized the attack.
"That's Gajeel's roar!" Erza managed to stutter out, still shocked from her apparent appearance on the field.
"Valkyrie absorbed the attack before." Levy said. "So she can use the attacks she absorbed?"

"Woah!" Lector gasped.
"That's Gajeel-san's..." Rogue trailed off. "Then you can use Minerva's-"
Jellal cut him off, eyes sparkling. "Yup, and a whole load of other attacks we had absorbed."
Realization hit Cobra's eyes. "Is that why you had us fire our breath attacks at you?"
Jellal smirked. "Finally!"
Darque: I'm baaaaaaaaaaack!
