A Fresh Start
Chapter Two Hundred Thirty Eight
"Rj, Will, come on. We're going to be late." Cassie calls as she walks downstairs. She's wearing a dark sapphire blue gown. Her hair is pulled back and twisted up into French twist and she's wearing a set of jewels that Richard brought her in San Cristobel. It was one of the few things she was able to bring with her when they left.
Richard is in the living room waiting when she walks in. He's still dressed in the suit that he wore to work that day but had changed his shirt after Will split his drink in him. He turns around when he hears her walk in. He stares as she walks towards him. "You look absolutely…."
"I think it's a good thing when you can't express what you're feeling."
"Let me try again, you are absolutely stunning. I don't think I've ever see you look more beautiful."
"Thank you." She says, as the boys come downstairs.
"Mom, do I really have to wear this suit? We're just going to the Beacon.'
"Yes, you have to wear the suit. We're going to the announcement party for your father's campaign, I want us all too look our best." Cassie says, turning to Rj as he sighs.
"I hate wearing a suit. Why can't I wear a pair of jeans and my boots?"
"Rj, your mom wants you to wear the suit. It won't be for very long." Richard says, as Cassie walks over to the closet.
"Get your coats." She says, opening the door. The boys walk over to her and she hands them their coats before she gets hers and Richard's. She hand him, his and then she pulls her own.
"Are we ready to go?" Richard asks, pulling his keys from his pocket.
"Yes, I think we are." She says, walking towards the kitchen with Richard beside her and the boys behind him. She picks up the clutch she had prepared earlier.
"Then let's go." Richard says, opening the door. They walk out with Richard behind them, closing and locking the door.
Cassie pulls her coat around her as they walk out the car. She opens Will's door as Rj and Richard get in the car. "Rj, don't forget your seatbelt." Richard says, as he opens his door.
"Do you need help with the buckle?" She asks Will once he's settled.
"I've got it." He says, as she nods.
Closing the door, she gets in as Richard starts the car. She buckles up as he puts the car in gear and pulls away from the house. It only takes about five minutes for them to go to the Beacon. Pulling up, they find the parking lot almost full. Once Richard finds a place to park, he turns the car off and looks at Cassie. "Are you ready?" He asks.
"Are you ready to be mayor?"
"I'm not mayor yet." He says, as he reaches for his door handle. Opening his door, he gets out as she opens hers and the boys follow them. He walks to the back of the car and slips his arm around as turn for the Beacon. "Rj and Will get in front of us." He says. The boys walk around them.
"Are you ready?" She asks, looking at him.
"Yes." He says before the start for the Beacon.
"Sam, we need to go?" Jeffrey calls from the bottom of the stairs.
"I'm coming." She says, as she comes down the stairs. "Don't rush me, I couldn't find anything that looked right." She says, as he watches her.
"You're beautiful." He says, as he holds out her coat for her.
"You have to say that? You're my husband."
"I will never lie to you. You're more beautiful now then you were on our wedding day and I didn't think you could get prettier than you were that day."
"I love you for saying that, but that doesn't mean that I don't need to see about getting some maturity clothes." She says as she puts her coat on.
"We can do that this weekend."
"You want to go shopping with me. Who are you and were did you put husband?" She asks, as he opens the door.
"This is your husband and maybe we should spend some time being a couple. We've been so focused on Jeremiah."
"Alright, we'll go this weekend." She says, as he open the door and they leave with him locking the house after he sets the alarm.
"Reva, let's go." Josh says, as she walks into the kitchen.
"I'm right here. There's no need to yell." She says, as he turns around.
"Sorry, I thought you were upstairs. Are you ready?"
"Yes, I was waiting on you."
"Let's go." He says, opening the door and then locking up as she walks out.
"Ava, Richard and Cassie are probably already down there." William says, walking into their bedroom. Ava's sitting on the bed with no clothes. "Why aren't you dressed?"
"I'm not going." Ava says, looking at him.
"Of course you're going."
"No, I'm not. I don't have anything to wear."
"I'm sure you have something." William walks into her closet. He comes back a few moments later with a dress.
"That makes me look fat."
"Ava you're pregnant and you're… beautiful but your body is changing and….
"What were you going to say?" She asks, looking at him.
"When?"
"You said that I'm pregnant and that I'm and then you paused. What were you going to say?"
"Ummm, I was only going to say that your bodies changing and you can't expect things to be the same."
"Why not?" She says, looking at him. "You're still the same and you did this."
"Ava, we both did that." He says, as she looks at him. "And I'm so happy that we did, but it's going to bring changes. And I know that you're beautiful in this dress."
"I was before I became and elephant."
"You're not an elephant. You're pregnant."
"You're not helping."
"If you don't want to wear this, then come in here and we'll find something that you can wear." He says, as she looks at him. "Come one." He says, taking her hand and pulling her up. An hour later and several rejections later, Ava's dressed. Someone knocks as William comes out of the bathroom. "I'll get it." He says, walking over to the door. Opening it, he steps back when he sees Emma's babysitter. "Come in, Ava's finishing up. Emma's eaten. She's finishing up her homework. If she gets everything done, you can bring her down to the party."
"Yes sir, Mr. Winslow."
"Thank you for watching her." He says, as Ava comes into the room.
"You're welcome." He says, as she walks up.
"We'll see you later." Ava says, as William walks over to the door. Ava follows him and they leave a few moments later.
Maggie pulls up to the Beacon shortly before seven. The press is standing around as she and the kids get out. When she walks into the hotel, she looks around for a moment before she walks up to the front desk. The clerk is dealing with a guest and while she waits, Cassie walks by. "Aunt Cassie." Mason says, as she turns around
"Mason, what are you doing here?" She asks, as she looks up. "You're all here." She says, as she looks at Maggie."
"Yes, I received an invitation from his campaign manager."
"How did Kevin know to send one to you and where you live?"
"I assumed that Richard told him. Is there a problem?"
"No, I didn't realize Richard had invited you. Is their mother…?"
"No, Julie had to go to Chicago for the weekend, so I'm watching them. And I thought this would be an educational experience for them."
"Well, follow me and I'll take you to the ballroom and Richard."
"Great." Maggie says, following Cassie with the kids behind them.
"Rj and Will are around here some where as well as Emma."
"Emma, who's Emma?" Mason asks.
"She's the daughter of my former partner. Olivia is out of the country so Emma is staying with her sister. She and her fiancé are here." Cassie says, as Maggie spots William in the crowd.
"That's the… well the former Prince of San Cristobel."
"Yes, and he's Richard's half brother."
"He's Richard's half brother, I didn't know. Well I didn't think about them being related. So he was Matt's half brother."
"Yes, I suppose he was so that would make him their half uncle." Cassie says, as they walk up to Richard. "Richard." She says. He turns to her and sees Maggie.
"Oh, you made it. Thank you for coming." He says, hugging her.
"You're welcome, and I brought the kids."
"I see that. Is Julie…?"
"No, she didn't come. She had to make a trip to Chicago for the weekend. I'm keeping the children for her so I brought them along. Is that okay?"
"It's fine. I'm sure Rj and Will are around here some where if you want to go find them." Richard says, turning to the kids.
"Thank you."
"Do not leave the ballroom. If you need to use the bathroom, come and get me." Maggie says. "And Mason, watch your brother and sister."
"Yes ma'am." He replies, as they all turn to find Rj and Will.
"Speaking of the bathroom, I need to go." Cassie says, as Richard and Maggie turn to her. "I'll be right back."
Richard nods as he releases her, turning his attention to Maggie. "So, does she know that they are here?"
"No, she doesn't. She knows about the party, but she doesn't know that I came or that I brought them." Maggie says.
"How did she find out about the party, if you didn't tell her?"
"She found the invitation in my kitchen and was quite upset about it. She knows about you coming to the house and she knows about me bringing Madeline's boxes to you."
"Of course she does. You told her before you brought them to me."
"Actually, I didn't. I brought them to you without asking her if it was okay."
"You…, why? She wants nothing to do with me and she wants his kids kept away too, so why would you risk that for a couple of boxes. I've gone all my life…."
"You went you whole life not knowing your mother or your brother. You have the right to know about them and you have the right to know your nephew's and niece. Julie is upset about Matt, it's not you. She's still grieving him and she's grieving the life that they had and the fact that it will never be like that again."
"And maybe we should force her to accept that."
"You can't force her to accept me."
"I'm not. I'm only allowing you to know who your family is." Maggie says, as Richard looks away.
For a moment neither one speaks and then he says. "I appreciate what you're doing. And I want my to know my brother's family but from now on I have to respect Julie's decision. You can all stay for the announcement but after tonight, don't bring the kids around without their mother." He walks away while Maggie watches him.
Shortly before eight thirty, Kevin steps up to the podium standing at the front of the ballroom. "Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, if I could have your attention please." He says, as everyone turns their attention to him. "On behalf of the Mr. and Mrs. Winslow we want to thank you all for coming. Many of you know the man I'm about to introduce. However some of you don't. He's a good and honest man. He has deep ties to this community. He's been in a leadership position all of his life. I give you Richard Winslow." Kevin says, as Richard walks up to the podium.
"Thank you Kevin." Richard says, as he turns to the crowds. "First I want to thank everyone for coming this evening. I appreciate all the support our family has received since our return to Springfield. I have brought all of you together tonight to announce that I have decided to run for office of Mayor of Springfield.
One of the things that has stayed with me from the first moment I came here was that this city has the feel of a small town, even though it's one of the largest communities in the state, with values that we all can fight for. I will work to continue that way of life for all the citizens of Springfield. My wife's family has lived in this community for several years now. We have decided to raise our children here. And we want to make this town everything it is meant to be
The city of Springfield faces tremendous opportunities in the coming years. We have started down that road over the last three months, by recruiting companies to build here and I have worked to make sure every one of the companies we recruit fit with the values that you believe in and I support, of hard work, environmental standards that surpass the standards set forth from Washington, quality of service that everyone deserves, ethical business practices between each other and the individuals that visit our community and state. And I will continue to bring those qualities to Springfield.
I will fight to keep our community safe. So our children feel free from drug dealers and child molesters. Our businesses know that no one is above the law and that no amount of money will circumvent the truth. I want our children to know that they have nothing to worry about while playing with their friends and watching cartoons, or waiting for Santa to bring them everything they want on Christmas morning. I want our wives and our husbands to know that they can safely leave their homes in the morning, knowing that when they return nothing will have changed.
Through out this campaign there will be many things said and I hope that me and my opponents will honor the principles of freedom and allow different ideas to be expressed without personal attacks upon each other. America is a beautiful place with a people that personify freedom for every other nation in the world. We are proud and we are strong. We work hard and we love hard. That is what I want to do for you and the City of Springfield. I want to work for you.
Many of you will question my legality to run for office, even my motives to run. For those that question the legality of my running, I have received my US citizenship and I will be releasing that paperwork to the public. My motive for running is simple. It is my duty to help my neighbors and the world around me. I wasn't raised in America. I am from San Cristobel as most of you know, but San Cristobel and America are not that far apart. I was its prince and I was its president, but San Cristobel has had democratic elections for almost as long as you have. I understand the principles behind democracy and I will fight to uphold those principles and beliefs. Thank you again for coming tonight and I look forward to being the next Mayor of Springfield. Thank you and God Bless."
When he walks off the stage, Cassie is there with Rj and Will. They hug as photographers snap pictures. After a few minutes, Jeffrey and Sam walk up. "Richard." He says, holding out his hand. Releasing Cassie, he takes his hand and they shake hands as a photographer snaps a picture. "Good luck." Jeffrey says.
"Thank you. I'm looking forward to it. It's been a long time since I've been in the position to help people and I've missed it. Thank you for putting my back together again." He says, looking at Sam.
"I didn't do anything special." Sam says.
"No, I think you did a lot of things that were special. One of them is not giving up on him." Cassie says.
"Giving up, really wasn't an option and Richard did all the work. I only made it easier to come back."
"Thank you anyway. I guess I should've gotten your clearance to do this before I signed up for it."
"I'm not your doctor anymore." Sam says, as Reva and Josh walk up.
"Richard." Reva says, as they walk up. "Congratulations." She says, as they hug.
"I haven't won yet." Richard says.
"It's in the bag. Springfield would be crazy to not make you mayor." She says, hugging him again. "I would probably be expecting a call in a few days if not tomorrow." She whispers.
"I'm sure I will get one." Richard says, with a smile.
"So, what's the first thing you're going to do?" Josh asks.
"Well, first I have to get elected." Richard says, as Maggie walks up.
"Richard." She says. He turns to her.
"I'm sorry to interrupt." She says, as she looks around.
"No, that's fine." Richard says.
"I'm going to take the children and go." She says. "Thank you for inviting us."
"You're welcome." He says, as she nods and turns away.
When he turns back to the crowd, he catches Reva's eyes. "She's the mother of a friend and she brought her grandkids to the announcement." He says. "So, Jeffrey what are you going to do after the election?"
"I'm not really sure." Jeffrey says.
"I think he should start paying a little more to his music." Reva says, as Jeffrey chuckles.
"Music is simply a way for me to relieve some stress." He says.
"Maybe so, but it could be more." She says.
"I think he should come to work at Lewis." Josh says, as they all look at him. "He's a lawyer and we always need legal counsel."
"I don't know anything about corporate law." Jeffrey says.
"You didn't have to learn about contracts in law school?"
"Yes but that's been years ago. I know nothing about corporate law."
"And no decision has to be made tonight." Sam says, slipping her hand into his.
"No, it doesn't. But I'd like you to consider it." Josh says, looking at Jeffrey.
"I'll think about it."
"You know I happened to notice a young boy playing with Rj and Will. He reminded me a lot of Jonathan." Reva says, looking at Richard.
"Really, maybe one of the guests brought their kids." He says, taking a sip of champagne.
"So, what's next?" Josh asks.
"I start campaigning. I've got meetings with Kevin tomorrow." Richard says, turning to Jeffrey.
"It's fine. I'm sure we can spare a few days of recruiting business to Springfield."
"Still, I'll try to work some thing out." He says, as Cassie turns to him.
"Would you mind if we danced?" She asks.
"Of course not Darling, if you all will excuse me." Richard says, as the rest nod and they leave.
"Do you think something's going on with him?" Reva asks.
"What do you mean?"
"Didn't you see the look on his face when I asked about the boy playing with Rj and Will."
"It was probably like he said. One of the guests brought their kids with them." Josh says.
"Maybe so, but I was married to him and one thing I could always tell about him was when he's hiding something."
"It's probably nothing."
"Well, I think we should dance too." Jeffrey says, turning to Sam. "If you want too." He says, holding out his hand.
"And pass up a chance to dance with my handsome husband. I don't think so." Sam says, taking his hand.
"If you'll excuse us." Jeffrey asks, looking at Reva and Josh as they nod.
"We should dance too." He says, taking Reva's hand and leading her out to the dance floor.
Jeffrey is standing at one of the buffet tables when Ava walks up to him. "Hi beautiful." He says, hugging her.
"Thank you but I don't feel very beautiful tonight." She says, looking at the food.
"Why? You're gorgeous." He says, looking at her.
"I look like a fat cow. I couldn't find anything to wear tonight and I'm only going to get bigger. It's…."
"It's beautiful and it normal. And it's natural for you to be self conscious of that."
"You sound like you're experiencing the same thing, or maybe Sam is?"
"She's getting a little self conscious as well. But I keep telling her that she's the most gorgeous woman in this town. I don't know if she believes me." He says, as she smiles. "That's what I wanted to see, that absolutely gorgeous smile." He says, as Sam walks up.
"Good evening Ava." She says, slipping her arm around Jeffrey.
"Hi, how are you feeling?" Ava asks.
"Tired of feeling as big as a house." She replies.
"I understand completely. I almost didn't come tonight. I couldn't find anything to wear that looked right."
"I had the same problem and your father has promised to go shopping for maternity clothes with me."
"Who are you and what have you done with my father?" Ava asks, looking at him.
"I am perfectly capable of taking a shopping trip with my wife." Jeffrey says, as William walks up.
"There you are." He says, slipping his arm around Ava. "I was beginning to wonder if you didn't sneak back to our room."
"No, I didn't sneak back to our room, but I'm actually not really hungry." She says, putting her plate down.
"You know we need to eat." Sam says.
"I know. I'm just not into eating right now. Would you like to dance?" She asks, looking at William before Jeffrey or Sam could press her about eating.
They walk away as Jeffrey turns to Sam. "Can I get you a plate?"
"No, I've been munching all evening. Is she okay?"
"Yes, she's fine. She's worried about…."
"I know what she's worried about. The same thing I'm worried about." Sam says, looking at him.
"Something you have no reason to fear. I happen to think you are the most beautiful woman at this party tonight."
"Thank you. Do you think something is going on with Richard?"
"No, I don't think so. Reva's just reading something into nothing."
"I was surprised that Josh suggested that you work at Lewis as one of their attorney's. Are you going to do that?"
"I don't know." Jeffrey says, as Richard takes up a mic.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I want to thank you for coming. I appreciate the show of support. This concludes the party. If you want to stay, Olivia's will be open for another hour. Thank you again for coming and we hope to see you at the polls in a year." He says, putting the mic down.
"Well, I guess the means we can leave." Jeffrey says, as he looks at Sam. "Are you ready to go?"
"Sure, if you want to go we can."
"I'll go get our coats." He says, putting his plate down.
"I'll tell the ladies good-bye." Sam says, turning to find Cassie, Reva and Ava."
Jeffrey walks up a few moments later with their coats. Sam is talking with the girls. "Holly said you're taking over Blake's case." Cassie says.
"Yes, I'm taking it over."
"That's great."
"You realize that there's no guarantee that she'll wake up even with me treating her." Sam says, looking at Cassie.
"I know she has to make up her mind. But you brought Richard…."
"It was Richard's choice to come back and it will have to be Blake's."
"I still think you'll be better for her than her other doctor. Can I ask, why do you think she hasn't woken up before now?"
"It's a number of reasons."
"Could it be that she's afraid to come back?" Reva asks.
"It's possible. She might be afraid of the repercussions from what she did before the attack. It's likely that she doesn't want to face it, or everyone's reaction."
"Speaking of before the attack, umm you know about…."
"I've already told her." Jeffrey says, looking at Reva.
"I didn't… I mean…." She murmurs, as she looks at him.
"It's okay. I told her about what happened between Blake and I when I found out that Holly wanted her to look at Blake's case." He says. "Are you ready to go?" He asks, looking at Sam.
"Yes." She says, letting him hold her coat for her. "Is it really cold outside?"
"Umm, it's sort of chilly. We might have our first snow soon." He says, as Sam shivers.
"That's the only thing I've never gotten used to, is snow and winter weather. We don't get much snow in Georgia." She says, shivering.
"I will keep both of you warm." He says, as she smiles.
"It's coming up on Thanksgiving. We need to get together and plan this." Reva says, as Josh walks up.
"You can call whenever." Sam says, as Reva nods.
"We'll talk soon."
"Good night then." Jeffrey says, as he turns away.
"Night all." Sam says, as Richard walks up again. "Congratulations again, Richard." She says, as he smiles.
"Be careful." He says, slipping his arm around Cassie. Jeffrey and Sam leave as they continue to talk.
Richard puts the boys to bed while Cassie's in the shower. She's coming out of the bathroom as he walks into their room. "Let me change." He says, as she nods. Sitting down on the bed, she reaches for her lotion. Squeezing some into her hand, she rubs it on her hands and arms. She moves onto her leg, feet and the rest of her body. She's sitting on the bed when he comes out. "Did you have something planned?" He asks, when he looks up.
"Ah no… I mean we can but I need some lotion on my back." She says, as he walks over to the bed.
Sitting down beside her, he squeezes some of the lotion into his hand before he begins at her shoulders, rubbing the lotion across her shoulder and down her back. When he's finished, he leans in and lightly kisses her neck. "I'll be right back." He whispers, getting up as she reaches for her gown.
Slipping it over her head, she stands up and pulls the covers back, lying down she settles into bed as he's in the closet getting ready for bed. He pulls on a pair of boxers and runs his fingers through his hair. Flipping the light off as he walks out of the closet, he walks over to the bed. Pulling his covers back, he lays down beside her. Once he's settled, she moves over to his side as he lifts his arm and she lays her head on his shoulder. "It was nice that Maggie brought the kids with her tonight."
"Yes it was." He says, playing with her hair. "I didn't get to spend much time with them." He says, sighing softly.
"Did something happen?" Cassie asks, looking up.
"No, nothing really. But I don't think I'll be seeing them much anymore." He says. "Not that I've seen them a lot anyway."
"Why not? Did something happen?"
"Julie saw the invitation to the announcement and she confronted Maggie about it." He says, still playing with her hair.
"Okay." She says, still watching him.
"Maggie told me that she told her about us going to Maggie's house and that she brought those boxes to us."
"Julie already knew about….
"No, she didn't. Maggie didn't tell her."
"She didn't tell her that she was bringing you the boxes."
"No."
"There's more." Cassie says, still watching him.
Sighing, he says. "I told her that she shouldn't bring the children around anymore. That I have to honor Julie's wishes to not see me."
"Richard, they are your family. It's your right to know your brother's children."
"She…."
"No, it's your right. You are not responsible for the accident that killed him. And she doesn't have the right to punish you for his death."
"I'm not going to force her Cassie."
"You should force her."
"Why?" He asks, as she pulls away. Sitting up she turns to him.
"Because I think your brother would want to know your family if the roles were reversed. I understand that she's hurt. I was hurt too, but I wouldn't punish her for something that Camille did."
"My connection to Camille…."
"Was through Will, she gave us our son back and then threw a temper tantrum when her plans didn't work out. Her decisions caused your brother's death, not yours. Stop blaming yourself for something none of us had control over."
"Come on, lay back down." He says, reaching for her. She looks at him for a moment as he tugs on her arm. "Come on." She lays down beside him. "I understand what you're saying, I do." He says as she moves away and he tightens his arms around her. "I'm not responsible for what Camille did. However…." She opens her mouth to say something. "However, Julie has the right to feel the way she feels."
"Maybe she does, but she doesn't have the right to deny you, your own family."
"So, what do you suggest?"
"I suggest that you see her again and you tell her that you're not going to be cut out off from your family for something you had no control over. She's not punishing you. She's punishing her kids by denying them the right to know their father's family."
"You're my little warrior princess." He says, turning his head and kissing her forehead.
"I'm no warrior princess, but I will defend you."
"Let's get some sleep." He says, settling deeper into their bed.
"I thought you wanted…."
"I want to hold you and we're both tired and I have to be up early tomorrow to meet with Kevin and Miles about our next step."
"Alright. One more thing." She says, looking at him
"Yes."
"Do you have Maggie's number?"
"Ummm, it's in my cell phone." He says. "Why?"
"I just wondered." She says, closing her eyes. For a moment, he lays there beside her before he finally falls asleep.
Jeffrey walks into their bedroom as Sam rolls over. 'What time is it?"
"Ummm, it's after ten."
"I slept that late. I didn't…."
"It's Saturday." He says, sitting down on the bed. "Sleeping late is part of the weekend and shouldn't we enjoy these days before he comes." He says, laying his hand on her stomach. He gets a resounding kick.
Laughing, she leans over to kiss him. "I think we know his opinion."
"He's probably right. Do you want to go shopping?"
"You know that you don't have to go shopping with me."
"I want to go shopping with you."
"You want to spend the day with me. While I'm in dressing rooms trying on clothes and you get carry all my bags."
"I'm here to serve you." He says, as she laughs.
"There's something else you could serve me with." She says, looking up.
"Ummm, there is."
"Yes."
"How's that?" He asks, leaning in closer.
She leans into him. "Like this." She says, kissing him.
He reaches for her, pulling her closer as he deepens the kiss. "I love you.' He says, pulling back. "In the morning, at night, all day….."
"You're going to get all soapy and sentimental when I'm doing this." She asks, reaching for him, gently caressing his erection.
He sucks in a deep breath. "Sam!" He gasps.
She pushes him back across the bed before she moves over him. "What?" She asks, watching him.
"I like this side of you."
"What side?"
"The aggressive side, you weren't like this before." She looks at him. "It's not a bad thing. You weren't like this… before." He says. It's his turn to watch her.
"Maybe you like that woman more than…."
"I don't want… I like you… I love you as you are now and like you were then."
"Are you sure about that? Maybe you like the girl that was sort of in awe of you more than you like the one that's comfortable in her own skin and knows what she wants." She says quietly.
"I like both of them. And why would you be in awe of me? You were always able to handle any situation, whether I was there or not."
"I pretended a lot of the time." She says, settling against him.
Slowly he moves his hands up her thighs, gently caressing her. "You always seemed to be in control."
"Of course I did, I was a female agent working with some of the most chauvinistic men in the world. I learned to always pretend like I was in control. My father taught me never to show emotion."
"You show great emotion." He says, reaching up to caress her face. "And I love every side of you, all of you." He pulls her down to him, kissing her softly.
"J!" She whispers "I need you." She whispers, deepening the kiss.
"I know." He groans, after he pulls away. "I can feel it." He says, reaching for his shirt and slips his hands underneath.
Slowly he pushes it up as she reaches for his hips as she braces her hand beside his head. After several moments, he pulls away. "We have to stop for a moment." He groans, as she slips her fingers under the waist band of his pajamas. "Sam, please."
Pulling away, she pauses for a moment and then crosses her arms. Pulling his shirt over her head, she leans up as he reaches for her panties and pulling them down. She lies down beside him, pulling her panties off the rest of the way. Kicking them off, as he lifts his hips and pulls his pajamas down, kicking them off as she moves over to him.
Kissing him again, she moves over him. Settling against him as he wraps his arms around her, he sucks in a deep breath, holding her tightly while they kiss. She pulls away, sitting up. He looks up slowly, moving his gaze over her body. "You were pretty before but now you're beautiful." He says, moving his hands over her stomach. "I have never seen anything more beautiful then you being pregnant with my child. I dreamed about this before…."
"I know."
"But in my dreams, it was nothing like this."
"I dreamed about you and sometimes they were dreams like this, but then I would dream about you finding out that I was alive and your reaction was nothing like I dreamed."
"What did you dreamed?"
"That you would turn your back on me like I turned my back on you."
"You didn't turn your back on me. You were protecting me, always protecting me. Even when you thought I was a chauvinistic pig." He says, as she smiles.
"I loved you then and I love you now." She says, leaning over him.
"I love you too." He says, reaching up to caress her face. "I want our child to be exactly like you."
"That's fine as long as he looks like you." He leans up. Kissing her, bringing them back to what they were doing. Slowly he moves over to her neck. He can feel her pulse beating against his lips. The rhythm of her breathing feels his body, bringing his desire to incredible levels of needs. He moves down her neck, nibbling as he moves down her body. He looks up as he reaches up, cupping her breasts. "J." She sighs, her fist clinching the sheet beneath him.
His warm breath washes over her and she feels her body quiver inside, clinch tightly, in desperate need for him. She settles against him, as he takes her nipple into his mouth, playing with her. Closing her eyes, she let's her body relax in the need rushing through her. Slowly she moves against him. Wrapping one arm around her, he clings to her, Feeling fire licking at his body, driving his desire higher. He pulls her to him, clinging to her. Sucking into a deep breath, she lets her head fall forward. He looks up, and watching her he says. "I need you, Beca."
Lifting her hips, she reaches for and slowly guides him into her, savoring the connection between them. Laying his hands at her hips, he looks up and catches the absolute satisfaction on her face. Moving with her, he feels her body clinging to his. They move together. Lifting his hips, he slips deeper. "J!" She moans, sucking her lower lip into her mouth. He thrusts again. Her release rushes over her before she realizes its coming. "Yes." She breathes, her body quivering over his
He fights his bodies demand for release. Watching her loose control turns him on more than any other thing. Opening her eyes, she looks into his. Swallowing, he says. "You are more beautiful than I know how to put into words.
She sags against him. Her head tucked under his chin. Slowly she returns to reality and she can feel his body desperate need for her. She moves to set up, but he tightens her arm. Rolling to his side he lifts her legs, he lays it over his hip, he thrusts into her. "Beca." He groans feeling her respond.
Within seconds, they fall into their own rhythm, moving together. Their passion builds with each thrust. He surges into her over and over, building their desire to an almost consuming need. He feels her clinging to him, sucking him deeper into each other. The first fluttering waves of her second release moves through her. Leaning up, she whispers. "Come with me." Her release swells over them as he thrusts again. His release pulses through him, filling her with each throbbing pulse after each surge of her release.
