A Fresh Start
Chapter Two Hundred Thirty Nine
Richard walks into his campaign headquarters early Saturday morning. Kevin is already there, along with Miles, Holly and Martin Westbrook. "How did we do?" He asks, as he takes a sip of coffee, looking at Holly."
"So far the coverage has been positive. It's too early to tell if that's because you don't have an opponent right now."
"When will we know?"
"Within a few days of an opponent's announcement."
"We need to capitalize on the free publicity." Richard says.
"I've already got the staff looking into ad buys for WSPR and all the local radio stations. The only possible issue is that the Springfield Journal is following the campaign right now as well."
"I'm not that worried about the Springfield Journal." Richard says, turning to Kevin. "What do we have coming up?"
"We're lining up several fund raising events to coincide with fundamental groups we think you'll need to support to be elected. We've already sent out invitations for these fund raisers."
"Let me see the list?" Richard says, holding out his hand.
"It's the standard Fraternal Order of Police, Teachers Association, several unions, the Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau."
"I'm not going to be the union's guy. They want to support me that's fine, but make sure they know that I won't be used once I'm in office."
"Sir, the unions…."
"Have the right to protect their members. I have nothing against that but I won't take their support if they believe it buys them special treatment from the Mayor's office. What about the religious leaders?"
"We've put in a call to Father Ray."
"I'm Catholic, but I want a meeting with all members of the clergy. I want a meeting with local industry too. I worked hard to bring new business to Springfield, but I want them to understand that I'm there for them as well." Richard says, sitting down next to Miles.
"What are you prepared to do if this race turns dirty?"
"It's a clean campaign."
"Your likely opponent will be the Deputy Mayor. He'll look for ways to discredit you." Kevin says.
"We talked about this. He can come after me."
"He's likely going to come after your family as well as your personal history."
"We'll cross that bridge when it comes. When is the first fund raiser?"
"Monday night with Citizens for Springfield." Kevin replies.
"What is this group about?"
"They mostly look at ways to improve Springfield through measures that protect the environment. And with your present position, I don't think we'll have to work hard to get their support."
"Do any of these look to be difficult for us to gather their support?'
"Maybe the small business association, and only because most of the companies you've brought to Springfield have been large corporations."
"Then why are we asking for their support?"
"While Springfield has a growing corporate population, a lot of the town considers it a small town with a lot of our city income coming from the small businesses downtown."
"Alright, I want to meet with them early. Miles take your time with that speech. We'll have work with them directly to bring in their support."
"Sir, we need to discuss how will your wife be involved with the campaign?"
"Cassie will be with me for the fund raisers and other events, but she is pregnant and it is a high risk pregnancy. So she needs as little stress as possible."
"I think we should have Mrs. Winslow speak with the women's groups. The ladies Aide, The women of the Fraternal order of Police, the Lighthouse Committee as well as Ladies order of the Chamber of Commerce."
"We should also have her speak with the Teacher's association." Miles says. "She worked with Education while she was Princess and First Lady of San Cristobel. She built the Children's Museum on her own, running the fund raising herself."
"I'm okay with that. But we're not going to push her to be at every campaign event. It'll be too much for her and the baby."
"She needs to be by your side as much as she can. She will be the First lady of the City of Springfield once you're elected."
"Her health and our unborn child's health comes first. I'm not risking it. I'm the one running for office, not my family."
"Your family comes with it, sir." Kevin says.
"We don't need an agreement right now." Miles says, looking at Kevin.
"Were do we stand financially." Richard asks, looking at Martin Westbrook.
"I'm Martin Westbrook." He says, as Richard nods, holding out his hand. They shake hands and then Martin says. "I estimate that last night we raised about a quarter of what we'll need to run this campaign."
"So, we're at about a hundred and twenty five thousand."
"Yes sir, we have to have as many fund raisers as possible to start buying ad time on WSPR and the local radio stations. Our opponent will likely start producing ads before he announces."
"Do we have anything for today?"
"Yes, there are a couple of civic conventions we need to speak to."
"Alright, when."
"This afternoon, and Cassie should be with you."
"Cassie, can't. I'll speak to this groups and we'll work out a schedule for me and Cassie to do events together. Is there anything else?" Richard asks.
"No." Kevin says.
"I'm going home to be with my family." Richard says, pulling on his coat.
Once he's left the room, Kevin turns to Miles. "You're going to have to talk to him."
"About what?" Miles asks.
"He has to realize that Cassie has to be a part of this campaign." Miles opens his mouth but Kevin raises his hand. "I realize that Cassie's health comes first, but she has to be more involved with this campaign. He's never had to run for election…."
"He ran for President of San Cristobel."
"He was contested in that race and the former Prince. Even if he had an opponent, that election was his."
"He ran for that office without pushing his former title. He wanted that office but not because he was the former prince. He wanted to help San Cristobel."
"He's still never been in an election where he's contested. He will have to work harder than he did when he was in San Cristobel or any other time in his life."
"I think he's always worked hard."
"All I'm saying is he has to allow Cassie to be more involved in this campaign."
"He's always been protective of her. And they were both devastated when they thought their son had died especially after they were told that they could never have another child. Now they've been given a second chance and they're both going to take it and fight for it."
"Can you talk to him?"
"I speak to him." Miles says, looking at Kevin. Nodding, Kevin leaves the room.
Jeffrey and Sam walk out of the baby store on Main Street. Jeffrey has about five bags in his hands when Sam turns to him. "Would you let me carry some of those?" She asks, reaching for a bag.
"No, I've got…."
She stops in front of him and says. "Stop being such a man, I can carry some of those. And are you not supposed to have your hands free in case my brother…."
"Hello, Sam." Jeremiah says, from behind her. Sam swings around as Jeffrey drops the bags and pulls her to him.
"Stay away from her." Jeffrey says.
"Relax Mr. O'Neill. I'm not here to hurt her. She is my sister."
"A fact you conveniently forgot when you tried to kidnap her from her own wedding, or when you attacked her at our reception and when you sent one of your men to kidnap again this past Monday. I guess I didn't make it clear then. She's not coming back to you." Jeffrey says
"You have a very active imagination, Mr. O'Neill. I simply came to see how my sister and my niece or nephew are. How are you doing?" Jeremiah asks, looking at Sam.
"I'm fine, but let's not pretend that you give a damn about me, my husband, or my unborn child. You sent someone to kidnap me Jeremiah and don't pretend that you didn't. We spoke with Arianna's mother. And she told us that the man that called to schedule a meeting with me was actually one of your men."
"And naturally you believed her over your brother."
"Of course I believe her over you. You do nothing but lie and manipulate people. Father taught you well." Sam says, as Jeremiah takes a step towards her. Jeffrey is in front over her before either one realizes he's moved.
"If you do anything to my wife and my child, you will answer to me." Jeffrey says. "I thought I made it clear that you were not to contact them."
"It's a free country, Mr. O'Neill."
"Yes it is. But freedom can be lost Mr. Whitmere. Sam did her job and she's doing what she must do to correct the injustice you set in motion." Jeffrey says, as Sam walks around him.
"I must say I'm very disappointed in my sister. But she knows the rules." Jeremiah says, looking at Sam.
"I know the rules Miah. I can also see that they're wrong. Something you refuse to see. You cling to father's "doctrine" because you're afraid of being a man." Sam says, taking a step towards Jeremiah as Jeffrey puts a hand on her arm to stop her. She shakes him off. "He's not going to hurt me, are you Miah? At least not here in public, this isn't about that, is it?" Sam asks, looking at him.
"What is it about?"
"You won't do anything because you can't do anything. You have to have your lackey's do it for you because you're too much of a chicken to actually do something to me. You would rather attack and hurt young girls."
"Arianna knew the rules. She broke them."
"She spoke to a boy in her class! She's sixteen!"
"Like you and Megan were sixteen." Jeremiah asks.
"This isn't about me or Megan. Why can't you see what's going on. Father is gone but yet you cling to his doctrine."
"It's Gods…!"
"What our father demanded was not God's doctrine! It was his own pathetic obsession to control everyone and everything. It destroyed him and it destroyed our family and it would be so much easier if you would accept that. He was a sick, desperate, obsessed old fool and you're as much a fool to continue following him." He tries to say something but Sam holds her hand up. "I'm not going to argue with you. You will believe what you want to believe as will I. I will testify on behalf of Arianna's mother. And you, well you'll try to stop me."
"You will not bring down everything our father worked for." Jeremiah says, taking a step closer. Jeffrey reaches out to pull Sam back, but she raises her hand to stop him.
"I gave up being intimidated by you years ago Jeremiah. Now if you'll excuse us, I need to check on a patient and then we are going home. I'm going to spend the rest of the day and my life with my husband, raising our child and you will have nothing to do with my life, as it has been for the last twenty years." Sam says, taking Jeffrey's hand after they both pick up the bags Jeffrey dropped. "Jeremiah." She says, before they both walk around him and he turns to watch them walk away.
Richard is walking up to his car when his cell phone rings. Opening the door to his car, he pulls his phone out. "Hello." He says, as he gets in the car.
"It's me." Jon says, looking out over the backyard. Watching Sarah play with the nanny he hired to stay with her while he's at work.
"Hello, I thought you would probably call." He says, closing the door with a slight shiver. "What's going on?" He asks, settling back.
"Not much here, I think more is going on with you."
"You heard the announcement?"
"More like I read about it. I thought you were through with politics."
"Jeffrey approached me about running. Are you okay with it?"
"It doesn't really affect me."
"Maybe not directly, not yet anyway. But I don't think anything will come to you."
"We will be fine."
"How's my little girl?"
"She's fine. Growing up, I hired a nanny to look after her while I'm at work."
His tone catches Richard's attention. "Is something more going on?"
"No, she takes good care of Sarah."
"But there's something else about her too."
Jon looks back outside. "No, it's all fine."
"If you're worried that we'll be upset with you moving on, we won't be. You deserve to be happy."
"I'm happy taking care of our girl. Nothing is going on with anyone."
"I know the last couple years have been extremely hard for you. You lost your entire family. You needed time to mourn that, but if you're ready to go out and move on, then you need to go and we won't be upset."
"Reagan is the best thing that happened to our girl. She takes good care of her. I don't want to mess that up by changing the dynamic between us. What happens now?"
"We start campaigning."
"Do you even have an opponent yet?"
"No, but I'm sure that's going to change." Richard says, starting the car. "I was on my way home to get ready for an event this afternoon." Richard says, as Reagan brings Sarah in.
"I need to go. Our girl needs me."
"Alright, I'll talk to both of you later." Richard says. Putting the car in gear and backing out.
"Be careful and give my love to everyone."
"I will." Richard replies. They hang up as Richard pulls into traffic.
Thirty minutes later, Richard pulls up to the farm. The boys are outside and they run up as he gets out of the car. "Good morning, boys?"
"Daddy, can we go riding this afternoon?" Will asks.
"Not this afternoon. I have a campaign event this afternoon. But we'll go, after mass tomorrow morning." He says, as Will looks slightly disappointed. "Is your mom inside?"
"Yes sir. I think she's in Tammy's old room." Rj says.
"You boys stay close to the house." Richard says as she turns for the house.
Cassie is upstairs in Tammy's room. Richard walks up to the door. Leaning against it, he watches her until she turns around. "Hi." She says, walking over to him.
"I thought you were with Kevin, working on the campaign."
"I was, but it's all taken care of. But we do have an event this afternoon."
"What time?"
"Four." He says, walking into the room. "Can I ask why you're in here?"
"I thought I would come in and try to plan the room." Cassie says, as Rj and Will come up.
"Mom, can we go over to Peter's house?" Rj asks.
"Are they home?" Cassie asks.
"I don't know." He replies, as he shrugs his shoulders.
"Do you know their number?"
"No." He says.
"Alright, let me call and see if they're home. If they don't mind you and Will coming over then I don't." Cassie says, walking towards the door. She stops and turns around again.
"Go." Richard says, smiling as she turns around again.
Cassie goes downstairs as Richard looks around the room before he leaves it. Downstairs, Cassie dials the number for Peter's house. After couple rings, a woman answers. "Hello."
"Shirley, this is Cassie."
"Hi, how are you? It's fantastic that Richard's decided to run for mayor."
"Thank you, but I'm calling about the boys. They want to come over and play, if that's okay?"
"No, it's totally fine. The boys are here so bring them over."
"Alright, I'll send them over, through the pastor."
"Great, I'll tell the boys they're coming."
"Thank you and send them home whenever you need too."
"I will."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome." Shirley says, hanging up a few seconds later.
"You both can go over, but go through the pastor and you both come home whenever Ms. Shirley says." Cassie says, as Rj and Will run for the door. "And walk, both of you." Cassie says, as they slow down to a fast walk. She smiles, watching them leave. When the door slams closed, turns for the stairs. Less than a minute later, she walks into Tammy's room expecting to find Richard there. He's not. "Richard." She calls, walking out into the hall.
"I'm in our room." He calls back. She walks across the hall. Leaning against the doorframe, she watches him as he reclines against the headboard. He turns his head and looks at her with a smile as she pushes away from the door and walks over to the bed. "I thought since the boys are at the neighbors, we could spend some time together. We haven't had much time for just us."
She slips off her shoes before she moves onto the bed. He lifts his arm as she lays down beside him. Wrapping his arm around her, he pulls her closer. "You were working on the nursery?"
"I was looking it over, I know we're putting the crib in the corner away from the windows but I was thinking about other things."
"Like what?"
"Well, mostly about how I didn't have a nursery for Tammy. Her crib was in our room, Rob's and mine. It was the only bedroom on the whole apartment. And I was thinking about her playpen being in the middle of the room while Rob sold drugs and the day that social service came to take here away."
"Tammy had a good life."
"It started out hard. And I was thinking about this baby will have a different start, different than any of my kids. Hart died the day Rj was born. Tammy had me and Rob but it was never easy for us. Will was with us but he lost you so soon after we left San Cristobel. We all did. And…."
"And now I'm back and we're going to be together until the baby gives us twenty grandchildren." He says, as she laughs.
"I don't know if they'll give us that many." She says, looking up. "Are you scared?"
"Scared, why would I be scared?"
"We'll be there for the whole time, together and we won't have maids and nannies taking the children when we get to busy."
"We don't have that now and we manage."
"I know but we're going to have so much more when this baby comes. You'll be mayor, or close to being mayor. We have….."
"We have each other. Are you having second thoughts about me running? Because if…."
"No, never. I want you to run and win. I want you to be mayor. I'm just thinking about everything. We'll be back in the spotlight."
"A less intense spotlight, but still the spotlight." He says, turning to kiss the side of her head. "We're not the only ones thinking about changing their lives."
"Who else?" She asks, looking at him.
"Jon called while I was driving home."
"Is everything okay? The government in…."
"He and Sarah are still safe in San Cristobel. The new government is honoring William's asylum. No, I think he's thinking about dating again."
"He is!"
"You say that like you're surprised he would move on from Tammy."
"No, actually I didn't really think about it. It's completely natural for him to find someone to be a mother for Sarah."
"And a wife for him. He's a young man."
"I know. It's just something I never thought about. Why do you think he's thinking about dating again?"
"He was telling me that he hired a lady to look after Sarah while he's working. His tone when he was talking about her and the fact that he said that he doesn't want to change the dynamic of their relationship leads me to believe he's interested in her."
"What's her name?"
"Reagan. He didn't really tell me much about her, other than she's Sarah's nanny."
"What did you tell him?"
"That we want him to be happy and if he wants to start dating again then he should. I also told him that we all want him to be happy, including Tammy."
"She would want him to be happy. I know he loved her as much as you love me, but Tammy would want him to move on and be happy. It will be an adjustment to see him with someone else, but Tammy would want that." They lay there for several seconds before she asks. "What did Kevin say this morning?"
"We're basically waiting for our opponents to announce. Martin estimates that we raised about half of what we will need for the campaign. They've got several events scheduled for me. We're trying to build up my support base before anyone else enters the race. In fact, I have an event we need to attend this afternoon, if you feel up to it."
"Of course I'm up to it. Who's it for?"
"Ummm the Farmers Association, we'll likely have some issues getting their support since I've been working to bring large business to Springfield. He wants me to reassure them that I support farming and agriculture."
"Of course you support farming and agriculture, you worked hard to bring reforms for the sugar cane farms in San Cristobel."
"I'm not sure I can use that as an example."
"You can't hide from your past Richard. You were Prince and President of San Cristobel. That give you extensive experience running a government."
"Some would say being Prince and President is different than Mayor."
"How, you're still the head of the city government." She says, pulling away to sit up.
"Now don't get upset. I'm not going to ignore my time in San Cristobel, but I'm not going to push it on the people of Springfield. I'm going to let them decide if they want to accept that part of my past or hold it against me, as you say." He says, pulling her back to him. "I lead the government of San Cristobel and I hope the people of San Cristobel feel like I did a good job."
"You know they believe you did a great job. And they would've let you continue being President and Prince if Camille and Dax hadn't interfered." When he doesn't reply, she pulls away and sits up. "You know that don't you?"
He reaches up and tucks her hair behind her hair as he says. "Yes, I know that. I will tell everyone about San Cristobel and I'll let them decided. Do you feel up to going with me later?"
"Of course I'm going with you."
"What about the boys?"
"I don't really think they should go with us. I'm not sure exactly what will happen, but I don't think they would want to go with us." Turning, she reaches for the phone. "Who are you calling?"
"Shirley." She says, dialing her number
After a couple rings, Shirley picks up. "Hello."
"Shirley, its Cassie."
"Hi, the boys are here."
"Good, thank you. I was calling to ask a favor."
"Okay, what can I do?"
"Richard and I have something that we need to take care of this afternoon. And we think the boys would rather stay with you and the boys then come with us. So would you mind keeping them for us?"
"No, not at all."
"We'll come and get them as soon as we're finished with this."
"That will be fine."
"Thank you so much." Cassie hangs up soon after she lays the phone on her nightstand before she turns to Richard. "She's going to watch them."
"Good." He says, settling back. She lays down beside him.
When they're away from Jeremiah, Jeffrey reaches for Sam's arm and stops her. "What?" She asks, looking up.
"Are you alright?" He asks, brushing her hair back from her face.
"I'm fine."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. " She looks away from a moment and then says. "I know what Jeremiah is. I can't do anything about it. I've never been able to convince him about our father. And he's never accepted my life or my choices."
"It still hurts."
"Hurt shapes the person." She says, as he pulls her into his arms.
"I'm sorry. I hate to see you hurting." He says, as Megan and the boys walk up.
"Jeffrey, Sam." Megan says. Jeffrey releases Sam. Turning around, he slips his arm around Sam. "Is something wrong?"
"We just ran into Jeremiah." Sam says.
"What happened?" Megan asks, taking a step closer.
"Nothing serious. We talked for a bit and then we left." Sam says.
"What did he say?" Megan asks, looking at Jeffrey.
"I think he's holding on to what he knows is gone and he can't admit that."
"Did he threaten you?"
"No. We just talked about Arianna and her mother's trial and we talked about Daddy. It was really the same argument we've had for years." Sam says.
"He told you nothing?"
"No, he wanted to play the same games that father played. He's becoming exactly like him." Sam says, her voice filled with hurt. Jeffrey pulls her closer.
"You can't change him." Megan says, looking at Sam.
"I know. It's past saving him or changing him. He doesn't know it, but soon his life will change and there will be nothing any of us will be able to do about that." She looks up. "I want to go home and we still need to go by the hospital."
"You're okay. There's nothing wrong with the baby?"
"No, I'm fine. I just had a checkup and we're all fine. I need to check on a patient I'm working with."
"Okay." Megan looks around. "Boys." She says, seeing them standing in front of one of the windows.
Turning around, the boys run over to them. "Hi, Aunt Sam, Uncle Jeffrey." Mattox says.
"Hi, babies." Sam says, bending down to hug them.
They hug and then step back. Madisen looks at Sam and then he says. "Aunt Sam, you're getting fat."
"Madisen!" Megan says.
"It's alright. I am getting big. Do you want to feel my stomach?" She asks with a smile.
He looks at Megan and she nods. He holds his hand out and Sam takes it, putting his hand on her stomach. His eyes grew huge when he feels the baby's foot pressing against his hand. "What is that?" He asks, looking up.
"That is your little cousin." Sam says.
"I want to feel to." Mattox says, not wanting to be left out. Sam takes his hand and putting it on his hand on her stomach. He feels the baby press against his hand. "That's totally weird." He says, as Sam laughs.
"Can you feel that?" Madisen asks, watching Sam and Mattox.
"Yes, I can feel that." Sam says, looking at him.
"Doesn't it feel weird?"
"No, it actually feels comforting."
"Boys we need to go." Megan says. "You'll call me if you need anything?"
"I will." She says, hugging her and the boys again.
"Bye." Megan says, turning to leave with the boys following her as they wave.
"Are you ready to go?" Jeffrey asks, turning to her.
"Yes, let's go by the hospital to check on Blake and then we can go home."
"Good." He says, slipping his arm around her as they walk towards CO2."
Turning to him, she looks up, watching him. "What."
"You look innocent and beautiful." He says, as he lightly caresses her cheek."
"Is something else on your mind?"
"No, you reminded me of when you were standing at the window at the palace and you were sick with measles and we were both fighting out feelings. And you kept me at arm's length, by claiming you were worried about Tammy and Rj…."
"I was worried about the kids…."
"I know, but how much was about keeping me away and worry about the kids."
She pulls away after a couple moments. "You already know the answer to that." She says, looking at him with a sweet smile.
"He reaches for her, pulling her to him as she moves closer. Deepening the kiss, as she reaches for him, burying her fingers in his hair, he rolls to his back, bringing her with him. She straddles him as he sits up. Slowly he moves his hands down her back, pulling her closer. He can feel her body against his, sweet waves of desire rushes over him. Breaking the kiss, he pulls back. "I love you." He says, reaching up to put his hand against her neck. Her pulse beats against hand. Slowly he moves his thumb over her pulse and feels it jump.
"I love you too." She says, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist.
He leans forward, softly kissing the side of her neck. Reaching for her waist, he gathers his shirt up and pulls it up as she leans in, kissing him. Slowly he pulls his shirt up. His hand gently tickle her back and she shivers as he looks up. Swallowing as desire surges through him. She pulls back and looks into his eyes. Reading the fire within, she kisses him as she moves her hands up his chest, gently scratching him as she raises her arms and he pushes her shirt up.
When he reaches her breasts, she reaches for the shirt and pulls it over her head, tossing it to the floor as he leans back, bracing his hands against the bed. Slowly he moves his eyes down her body. After a moment, he leans on one hand as he reaches for her breast. Cupping it, he looks up and watches her reactions. He smiles when he feels another shiver of desire charge over her. He moves his finger over her nipple and she sucks in a breath, holding it as she swallows. He teases her for several moments as she closes her eyes. "Watch me." He says. "I want to watch your desire build." He says, as she opens her eyes.
Sparks flash, as he squeezes her nipple, rolling it gently between his thumb and finger. She arches her back, offering her body to him. He knows what she wants but he wants to drive her a little crazy. Reaching around her, he unfastens her bra and she shrugs out of it. Leaning back, he continues, cupping her breasts as he leans in kissing her. If asked, she would swear she was burning up inside, leaning in, he flicks her nipple with the tip of his tongue before taking it into his mouth. Heat consumes her. She reaches for him, burying one hand in his hair while she clings to him, refusing to release him. If asked, there would be no way she could accurately describe the fire building inside her, except to say that she was desperate for him and him alone.
After several moments, she decides to give as good as she's getting. Laying her hands on his shoulders, she looks into his eyes when he looks up. Crossing his arms, he reaches for his shirt and pulls it over his head and tossing it to the floor. Looking up, he swallows when he reads the fierce demand and challenge in her eyes. Tightening his arm around her waist, he continues playing with her breasts. She leans in, nipping at his lower lip as she moves her hand from his shoulders down his chest as she whispers. "You want to tease me. You know two can play that game."
A throbbing pulse of heat rushes through him. His body tightens as he sucks in a deep breath. Whatever he does, she counters. Playing with his nipples as their breathing gets deeper and the fire of desire burns hotter. Bending her nails, she scratches him, pausing for a moment, to tease his nipple. "Cassie!" He groans. Smiling, she rolls her hips against his erection, teasing him
Desire jumps from a controlled burn to a raging fire of need and desperation from that simple though not innocent move. His hands drop to her hips, holding her against him. She leans into him as he pulls away. Settling his hands at her waist, he moves to lift her as she smiles. Catching his mouth, she kisses him, distracting him long enough for her move back. The moment he feels her body pressing against his, he pulls away. He reaches for his waist. Pulling his belt free, he opens his jeans while she watches him. Lifting his hips, he pulls his jeans down as she moves off him. Reaching for his boots, she pulls them off, pulling on his jeans as he settles back. She drops them on the floor as she looks up.
His erection stands tall, reaching for her. He watches her for a moment before he says. "I need you, please!"
She looks up, catching his gaze. "You wanted to drive me crazy." She replies, her expression challenging him. Reaching for her, he answers the challenge. Reaching for her jeans, he opens them. Unzipping them as he leans in, kissing her. Slipping his hand under her panties, he reaches for her desire, teasing her. After a couple seconds, she gasps. "That's not fair." He slips a couple fingers inside her as she gasps, caressing her. "Richard!" She moans, rolling her hips against his hand.
A small part of him thought about pulling his hand free, but he couldn't do that to her. Deepening his caress, he watches as her desire building, rushing her towards an intense explosion of desire. He feels her take him deep as the first tingling waves of her release swells over her. Pulling his hand free, he wraps his arm around her as he moves her onto her back, kneeling in front of her, he looks up for a moment.
He reaches for her jeans and panties as she lifts her hips. He pulls them down and over her knees to her ankles. She kicks them off as he moves off the bed. He stands up as she leans up, bracing her weight with her arms she slowly moves her eyes down his body, taking in the rhythm of his breathing and his throbbing erection. As she sits up, he lays a hand on her shoulder as she looks up.
He moves onto the bed as she lays back. Leaning over her, placing his hands beside her, he kisses her for a moment before she reaches for him.
He pulls away, moving down her body, gently teasing her breasts before he moves on. He dips his tongue into her navel, teasing her more. He plays with her for a moment as he lays his hand on her hips as he looks up. She watches him before slowly opening her body to him. She expects him to touch her, but he pulls away from her navel. Moving down until he's hovering over her desire. He takes a deep breath and her scent feels his body, driving his desire to a point of almost desperation. He leans in and gently kisses her as she arches her hips. "Richard!" She cries, arching her back.
He slips his tongue inside her, playing with her, slowly moving his tongue over her desire, pushing it higher and higher. He goes in deeper, as he reaches up, slipping a couple of fingers inside her, mimicking their own personal rhythm. Arching her back, she reaches for the sheet beneath her. She clings to it as she rolls hips against his mouth, moving with him, as he takes her higher still. Suddenly the dam breaks, arching her hips higher, staggering waves of release rolls over her.
He pulls back and sucks in a deep breath. As much as he wants to push her to the edge, he goes with her with each caress. His erection is beyond throbbing. He wants her so much that he's not sure how long he can last. He rolls to his back, sucking in a deep breath, holding it for a moment before he releases it in a slow whoosh. Turning her head, she watches him. Sitting up, she turns to him as he holds up his hand. "Give me a moment." He says, taking deep breath as he fights for control. With a soft secret smile, she leans over him, kissing him. "Cassie!" He groans, as she moves to straddle him.
Heat rushes through him again. "You think you want to wait, but I think you want me to drive you over the edge." She says quietly.
"I'm afraid…." He takes a deep breath as she reaches for his erection, gently moving her hand over him. She pauses for a moment at his tip, pay explicit attention to that portion of him, caressing him, watching him as he fights for control. "Darling, I'm going to…." He sucks in a deep breath when she releases him, before she moves closer. Taking him again, she sinks over him, guiding him inside as he grips her hips. Her body clings to his. He sucks in another breath when he realizes that small fluttering waves of her release still washes over her.
"You want this." She says, leaning over him.
Bracing her hand on his chest, she rolls her hips. Savoring the feel of him inside her, she starts at a slower pace. He's fighting every moment to hold on. She looks up and reading his expression, she sets a steady rhythm, moving over him as he lifts his hips, thrusting into her and slipping deeper. She ditches the slower pace. Rocking her body back and forth, savoring each caress until suddenly her release rolls over her and her body clinches around him. That first throbbing pulse brings a surge from deep inside him
When it's over, she sinks down. Lying on his chest as he wraps an arm around her, they lay there for a several moments struggling to catch their breath before she sighs. He reaches up, brushing her hair back so he can see some of her face he asks. "Are you okay?"
She turns her head. With her chin resting on his chest, she smiles. "Yes, I'm fine. Actually, I'm more than fine. I'm wonderful, stupendous, awesome, exuberant…." She pauses for a moment.
Smiling, he says. "I get the point."
"I want this to go on and on and on and on and on and on and on."
"That many times, is it the hormones?" She lightly slaps him as he laughs.
"You know what I mean."
"Yes, I do." He says, lifting his head to kiss the top of her forehead.
They lay there for another few minutes before she finally pulls away. Sitting up, she looks at him and smiles. "Now I think I'll take a shower."
Smiling, he asks. "Do you want me to come with you?"
"It's up to you. But it might be a longer shower." She says, as she moves off him.
He sits up as she moves of the bed. "Already thinking about the next time."
She turns to him and smiles. "I think about you more than you know." She says, leaning over to kiss him.
When he pulls back, he looks up and smiles. "Good answer."
Smiling, she pulls him up. They walk into the bathroom together.
