A Fresh Start
Chapter Two Hundred Forty Seven
Richard walks into the house after seeing the boys onto the bus. Closing the door, he shivers slightly as he walks over to the thermostat and turns it up a little bit before he goes upstairs. Walking into their bedroom, he stops for a moment to listen. Cassie's singing in the shower. He smiles as he walks over to the bathroom door. Opening the door, he leans against it while he watches her outline in the shower. After a couple moments, he pushes away from the doorframe and walks in. Closing the door quietly behind him, he shrugs out of his robe and pajama bottoms. He walks over to the shower door and opens it.
Spinning around, Cassie stares for a moment and then spins back towards the water as shampoo rolls into her eyes. "Ouch." She mutters as he closes the door behind him and she splashes water on her face.
"What's wrong?" He asks and for a moment she doesn't answer as she rubs her eyes. "Cassie, what's wrong?"
"I got shampoo in my eyes." She says, blinking as she looks up at him.
"Are you alright?" He asks, trying hard not to smile.
"I'm fine. What are you doing here? I thought you were gone."
"I took the boys up to the bus stop and waited for them to get on the bus and then I decided to come back. I don't have anything really pressing this morning."
"You're supposes to meet with….
"I'll meet with Kevin later." He says, slipping his arms around her. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"I'm fine. It's just stung a little bit. I've got to go to the Beacon. We've got last minute things to do before the holiday. And then I thought I would go to Cedars and see Blake or do you want me to wait?"
"No, you can go see her."
"I think she would love to see you."
"We can go tomorrow after we see Dr. Sedgwick."
"Alright, well I need to finish…." He leans in and kisses her. Slowly she wraps her arms around his neck and steps closer. After several moments, he pulls back and she asks. "What was that for?"
"Do I have to have a reason to kiss my wife?"
"No, but you do." She says, looking at him.
He smiles as he replies. "I was standing in the doorway and I was listening to you sing and it reminded me of the night we made our arrangement and you tricked me by telling me you were in love with me after you told me that you sing really bad to the car radio."
"And I still can't sing."
"You sounded like an angel."
"And you're full of it." She says, as he laughs.
An hour later, after telling Cassie good-bye, Richard walks into his office at City Hall. Amelia is at her desk when she walks in. "Good morning Sir."
"Good morning." He says, as he walks into his office. Sitting his briefcase down, he sits down at his desk as Amelia walks in with a cup of coffee. "Thank you." He says, taking as sip as he turns his computer on.
"Your first meeting is with Southern International at ten. Do you need the file?"
"Yes." Richard says, looking up.
"I'll bring it in. Is there anything else?" She asks, as he shakes his head no. She turns to go and then turns back around. "Oh, here are your messages." She says, handing a few slips.
"Thanks." He says, taking the slips.
Two of the messages are from companies looking to expand into Springfield. When he gets to the last message, he stares for a moment. Written on the slip is Julie's name and number at her office. He wasn't quite sure what to think. Julie made it clear she didn't want anything to do with him, so why was she calling him. Sitting up, he reaches for his phone and dials her office number. After a couple rings, she picks up. "Julie Winslow." She says.
"Ummm Julie, its Richard." He says tentatively.
"Hi." She says, quietly sitting back in her chair.
"I'm sort of surprised to hear from you." He says, after a few moments of silence.
"I know." She pauses for a moment and then she says. "I know I was emphatic about no contact between us."
"It did seem like you were determined." He says, sitting back.
"I know." She pauses again and then she says. "I'm sorry."
"Okay." He says.
"Would there be any way that we could have lunch again? Maybe this afternoon."
"Ummm, we can have lunch, but today isn't a good day. I've got meeting as well as a strategy session with my campaign manager…."
"I heard that you were running for office."
"I guess you would. It was on WSPR."
"It was but I knew beforehand. I saw the invitation you sent my mom."
"I didn't know that she hadn't told you about the boxes or that she brought your children to see me. I didn't mean to over step…."
"It's alright. Listen, I have to go to a meeting but could we have lunch tomorrow?"
He sits up and opens his calendar. "Actually, tomorrow will be fine. Do you want to meet at the Lakeview again?"
"No, I'll come to Springfield."
"Okay. There's a restaurant across from Cedars. Do you know where that's at?"
"Yes."
"Good, I'll meet you there."
"Alright, what's the name of the restaurant?"
"Oh sorry, Company. It's across the street from the hospital. I'll meet you there say one o'clock." Richard asks, looking at his calendar.
"That's fine. I'll see you then." Julie says, as he sits up.
"I'll see you then." Julie replies.
They hang up a few moments later. For a few moments, Richard stares at the phone before Amelia buzzes him. "Yes." He says.
"Sir, your ten o'clock is here."
"Thank you Amelia. Send them in." He says, standing up. The door opens a few moments later and he walks around his desk as he pushes the call with Julie to the back of his mind.
Sam comes out of one of the exam rooms. Standing just down the hall, is Julien. She glances his way before she turns towards the front of the office. Stopping at the receptionist desk, she finishes making notes in the file she has before she turns it over to Leah to file. As she's handing the file to Leah, Megan walks in. "Meg are you okay?" Sam asks, as she walks up.
"I'm fine. Why didn't you tell me he was in Laurel Falls?" She asks, looking at her.
"Leah, can you take Ms. Reynolds for me." Sam says, turning to her.
"Of course." Leah says, as Sam turns to Megan.
"We'll talk in my office." She says, walking down the hall. She stops when she reaches Julien. "Julien, I would like to introduce my sister, Megan. Megan, this is my bodyguard, Julien." Sam says, as Megan looks at her.
"Bodyguard, why do you have a bodyguard?" She demands.
"I'll explain everything." She says, before she turns to Julien. "I'll be in my office. If you hear any loud voice, everything is fine. No need to rush in and save me." She says, as he smiles.
"I'll be discrete." He replies as Sam nods. She walks across the hall to her office.
Opening the door, she lets Megan enter. Following behind her, she close the door as Megan turns around. "What's going on? Why do you have a bodyguard and why didn't you tell me that Jeremiah is in the area?"
"Can we sit down? I'm sort of feeling tired." Sam says, walking over to the couch. Megan follows and sits down beside her.
"I didn't know he was in the area until a few weeks ago."
"How did you find out?"
"I had a patient come into the clinic right after Halloween. She was brought in by a lady claiming to be the nurse from the girl's school."
'Why would the nurse from Laurel Fall's bring a student to see you? Why not take her to a local doctor?"
"The patient was afraid." Sam says, sitting back as she held up her hand. "While I was treating her, a man came into the clinic demanding that I turn the girl over to him. I refused and ordered him to leave, which he refused to do and the police were called and Jeffrey showed up as well."
"Why would Jeffrey show up? He's not the police."
"I assume Frank told him about the call."
"That sounds like something he would do." Megan says, as Sam looks at her. "What happened?" Meagan asks, stalling Sam's question.
"Afterwards, I treated the girl and she was released to Family services. I later found out that the woman that brought the girl to me wasn't the school nurse, but the girl's mother. I also found out that she was arrested for kidnapping. Jeffrey tried to keep me out of it, ordering Frank no to tell me what was going on in the investigation, but I found out anyway and confronted Jeffrey about it."
"What's Jeffrey's issue?"
"He was protecting me, knowing that this was unsettling for me because it reminded me of my own childhood. That's why he got the bodyguard."
"Did someone threaten you?"
"Not exactly, after I found out that the girl's mother was arrested, I volunteered to testify at the woman's trial. Jeffrey's nervous about that, but he understands why I have to do it. Anyway, the man that came to the clinic, demanding that I return the girl to him came back to my clinic."
"Sam!"
"It's fine. It turns out that he was undercover, investigating Jeremiah. He came to explain why he was there and what was going on. Some other things happened."
"Like what?"
"Well, after everything settled down between Jeffrey and I…."
"You've been fighting?"
"He's overprotective sometimes, especially now."
"Which is understandable."
"Understandable, but I've never hid from Miah or my past. He wants to protect me from that and him. Anyway after I was able to convince him that I wasn't going to go after Jeremiah on my own, he agreed that I should testify for the girl's mother. I was contacted by a man claiming to be the woman's attorney and wanting to speak to me. Jeffrey was here when I got the call and he insisted that he come with me for the meeting. We were supposes to meet with the guy at Company, Monday afternoon. The guy never showed, which made Jeffrey suspicious and he called the public defender's office and found out that the guy I was supposed to meet wasn't the woman's attorney at all. And that made him suspicious all over again. He went to speak with the girl's mother and she ID'd the man as being one of Jeremiah's men. So now I have a bodyguard until after this is settled with the trial and Jeremiah is in jail."
"And Jeffrey's still insisting that you have the bodyguard with Jeremiah in jail."
"We both know that even if he's in jail it will not stop him from trying something. I've got too much to lose to relax. So I have a bodyguard. "
"You're right." Megan says, relaxing for the first time since she heard that Jeremiah was in town.
"There's something else I should tell you." Sam says, as Megan looks at her. "I went to see Jeremiah before he was arrested yesterday."
"You went to see him, Jeffrey let you…."
"Of course not, Jeffrey went with me."
"Why did you go see him?"
"I needed to tell him something. Actually I needed him to hear something." Sam says, moving to get up.
"Where are you going?"
"Upstairs, you should hear this too." Sam says, as Megan gets up. She follows Sam out of her office. "We're going upstairs for a moment." Sam says to Julien.
He nods stepping in front of her. They follow him through the break room to the stairs. "Wait here while I clear the laundry room." He says, walking up the stairs.
"He's serious." Megan says, watching him walk upstairs.
"He's been trained by our agency." Sam says, waiting as he opens the door to the laundry room, clearing it. He turns to her and nods. They walk upstairs into the laundry room.
"I'll clear the house before you come in." He says, as Sam nods. Opening the door, he walks into the living room and the main floor of the house. A few minutes later, he comes to the door. "It's clear."
They follow him into the living room. Megan sits down on the couch as Sam continues upstairs. "I'll be right back." She says, as Megan nods. Sam walks upstairs as Julien follows her to the stairs. "There's no need to follow me." Sam says, looking at him and he nods, stopping at the bottom of the stairs. Sam quickly walks upstairs and into hers and Jeffrey's room. Going into the closet, she goes to the closest. Opening the box, she looks for the tape but it's not there. She checks several other boxes but the tape is gone. She walks downstairs when she reaches the bottom step, she asks Julien. "Did you clear the upstairs?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Did you notice anything out of place?"
"No, why?"
"The tape is gone." Sam says, as Megan turns to them.
"Are you sure you put…?"
"Yes, I know I put it back where I've kept it for years." Sam says, reaching for her phone.
"Who are you calling?"
"Jeffrey." Sam says, dialing his office number.
After a couple rings, Stace picks up. "Springfield City Hall, Mayor's office."
"Stace, its Sam."
"Yes ma'am, cam I help you?"
"Is Jeffrey busy?"
"Ummm, he's finishing up a meeting I believe. Do you need him?"
"Yes, please." Sam says, walking over to the couch.
"Can you hold?"
"Of course." Sam says, as Stace puts her on hold.
She buzzes Jeffrey. "Yes." He says.
"Sir, your wife is on line one." Stace says.
"Okay." Jeffrey says, looking up at Councilmen Walters. "I need to take this." He says, as the man nods. Pushing the button for line one, he says. "Sam, is something wrong? Is it the baby?"
"No, the baby's fine and I'm fine. Megan's here and I was going to play the tape for her but when I went to get it, it's not there."
"I know. I brought it to the office with me this morning."
"Oh, okay. At least I know where it's at. I thought maybe someone took it when I couldn't find it?"
"I'll bring it home, if you want me too."
"Ummm no, I can play it for her later." Sam says.
"Alright, was there something else?"
"No, sorry to interrupt your meeting. It's just that I couldn't find it, I was worried that maybe someone broke in and took it."
"I should've told you that I was bring it to the office. It's locked up and safe."
"Alright, that's fine. I'll see you later."
"I should be home by five." He says, sitting up.
"Okay, love you." She says, sitting down next to Megan.
"I love you too, both of you." He says, with a smile.
"We love you." She replies, hanging up a few moments later. "It's fine." She says, turning to Julien. "He took it with him to work, to lock it up." She says, as he nods. "If you want to go downstairs, we'll be okay." She says, looking at him.
"Of course, I'll be downstairs if you need me." He says, walking over to the laundry room.
When he's gone, Megan says. "Very subtle Sam, I'm not sure he realized that you wanted to interrogate me without him hearing."
"I'm not going to interrogate you." Sam says, looking at her.
"But you've got questions."
"Well actually, I only have one." Sam says, holding up a finger.
"Only one….
"Sarcasm doesn't benefit you."
'What's the question?"
"What's going on with you and Frank?"
'There's nothing going on between us. He's annoying and I don't want anything to do with him."
"Now that tells me that there is something going on between you."
"Nothing is going on!"
"But you want something to."
"What I want is for him to stay out of my business. He can stay on his side of town and I'll stay on mine."
"You're protesting too much Meg, so what happened?"
'Why do you think I'm protesting? I'm only stating the facts. He needs to stay out of my business."
"You said the same thing when you first met Patrick."
"Frank and Patrick are completely different men." Megan says, looking at her.
"Alright." Sam says, holding up her hand.
"I'm sorry. It's just that he gets to me?"
"Why?"
"I don't know." Meg says, as Leah comes in.
"I'm sorry to interrupt." She says, as Sam turns to her.
"What's wrong?"
"There's an emergency at Cedars." Leah says, as Sam gets up.
"What happened?"
"The attending physician called and Ms. Owens was brought into Cedars about ten minutes ago. She's been beaten pretty badly." She says, as Sam starts for the laundry room.
She's halfway there when she remembers Megan. Stopping she turns to her. "Go." Megan says. "We'll talk later."
"Follow me downstairs, so you don't set the alarm off." Sam says, turning for the laundry room. Megan and Leah follow her downstairs. When they reach the first floor, she turns to Megan. "We'll continue our discussion later."
"There's nothing to discuss. Go take care of your patient." Megan says, as Sam turns away and she leaves.
Dj is at his office, looking over paperwork for the youth center when he phone rings. Absently he reaches for the phone, answering on the third ring. "Dj, here." He says.
"Hi." Leah says quietly.
Hearing his mother's voice grabs his attention. "Why are you calling me?"
"I wanted to talk to you about the holiday."
"I see no reason for us to discuss that. I've already made plans and they don't include you."
"I'm your mother, your family. We should…."
"You're my mother but you're not my family."
"What do you want me to do, Dj? I have apologized to you over and over again and yet you insist on punishing me…."
"Don't ask me to feel sorry for you?"
"I'm not. I want your forgiveness."
"You want my forgiveness!" He laughs scornfully. "I'm not my… the man I thought was my father." He says, as he reaches for the papers he dropped when he heard her voice.
"You know what, there comes a point when all this righteous anger you profess to feels is no more than a child throwing a temper tantrum. I've apologized continuously for what happened between your father and me."
"That man is not my father."
"He is your father. You can accept it and get to know him or you can keep throwing this tantrum, but for this holiday coming up. I expect you to be at my house for it. Whatever plans you've made, change them." Leah says, hanging up without giving him a chance to reply.
Later that evening, Dj is at his girlfriends. They are sitting together after dinner and he's surfing the channels when he says. "I spoke to my mother today." He says, as she looks at him. "She wants to discuss the coming holiday."
"What did you both decide?"
"What would you say to us going out of town next weekend? You're parents and your brother is traveling so we have not family obligations for the day. We could rent a cabin up at the lake north of Laurel Falls and spend the weekend up there."
"What about your mother? Don't you think you should spend the holiday with her?" She asks, looking at him.
"Why should I do that?"
"You know I agree with you about what happened, but she is your mother."
"She's the woman that lied to me for years. She slept with a man that wasn't her husband, simply to punish him for leaving her."
"There is probably more to it than that. The holidays should be spent with your mother and family."
"I want to spend them with you, alone, in a cabin."
"You want to avoid your mother."
"Is that so wrong?"
"No, but at some point you will have to face what happened and the fact that your father is Josh Lewis. And I have to say, Josh isn't that bad for a father."
"How do you know?"
"I went to school with his daughter Marah. And she's a famous designer in Paris now."
"And her father got that job for her."
"No, but maybe you should think about something else."
"What's that?"
"You had a great father and you loved him a lot. You were happy growing up, with your mom and dad."
"Yes."
"So, how exactly did your mom sleeping with Mr. Lewis really affect your childhood?"
"She lied to me."
"Yes, she did. She also loved you and took care of you, as did your father and what do you think would've happened if she told about Josh, let's say when you were ten. What would that have changed?"
"I don't know. But she would always preach about telling the truth and then she was lying every day of my life."
"Parent's do that sometimes."
"You say that so causally."
"That's because I've been where you are and I've accepted that fact that my parents are not super human heroes. They're people, they make mistakes."
"You're dad's affair."
"Yeah, I caught him one day with her. It wrecked my world for a while. I was exactly like you, angry, defiant, insisting that I would never accept his affair or my step mother."
"So what changed?"
"I realized how much energy it was taking from me to hold onto my anger. It was a wall in the middle of my life, holding me back and coloring everything in my life, so I let it go. I still wish that my dad hadn't've done what he did, but I can't let his actions dictate my life, and right now that's what you're doing." She says, moving to get up.
"Where are you going?"
"Bathroom." She says, getting up and leaving him alone.
Richard walks into the farm house around lunch as Cassie comes out of the laundry room. "Let me get that?" He says, putting his coat across one of the kitchen chairs. He takes the laundry basket and sets it on the counter.
"I thought you had a meeting with Kevin." Cassie says, as he leans in to kiss her.
"I rescheduled it for later." He says, releasing her and walking over to the refrigerator.
"Why?"
"I wanted to see you. I thought maybe we could possibly finish what we started this morning."
"Umm hmm." She says, looking at him like she doesn't believe him.
"Seriously, you don't want to spend some quality time together." He asks, reaching for her.
"Sure, I'll spend some quality time with you." She says, as he moves closer. "But not before you tell me the real reason you rescheduled that meeting."
"That…." He looks at her. "Alright, there was another reason."
"What happened?" He opens the refrigerator door and reaches for a soda. Pulling one out, he pops the top and follows her into the living room. "So." She says, sitting down on the couch. He sits down beside her as he takes a drink. Putting the soda down, he pulls his tie free and shrugs out of his coat before he settles back.
"I got an unexpected call this morning." He says, as he crosses his feet at his ankles.
"From whom?"
"Julie."
"Julie, wait Julie, Matt's Julie, she called you, why?"
"She asked me to lunch."
"Why would she ask you to lunch? She's made it clear she wants nothing to do with you and she wants you to stay away from her and your brother's kids."
"I don't know." He says, as she looks at him. "I don't."
"I believe you. I'm just surprised."
"So was I. She mentioned the invitation I sent her mother for the campaign announcement so maybe that's why she wants to have lunch again. She wants to make sure that I know she doesn't want me to have anything to do with her or her kids."
"She could tell you that over the phone."
"Maybe she wants to make sure I get the point, not that I haven't already gotten it." He says, as she moves over beside him.
"Where are you having lunch?"
"Company." He says, putting his arm across her shoulders. "How are things at the Beacon?"
"Everything is fine. Reva's helping out a lot. Ava's wedding is being handled by the staff so I don't have a whole lot to do until next spring."
"What about the holiday parties?"
"The staff handles the day to day parties for private companies." She says, laying her head on his shoulder.
"You know the boys won't be home for a couple hours and I don't have to go back to the office till the morning."
"You took the rest of the day off."
"Well, I gave the remaining meetings for the day over to my staff." He says, playing with her hair.
"You have a staff now?" She asks, pulling back to look at him.
"Ummm, Jeffrey thought that maybe I should start training someone to replace me after the election."
"Jeffrey thought. The election is almost a year away."
"Yeah, and I think he wants to free up my time for the campaign."
"You never said anything about this."
"I didn't know about. Personnel sent him to me Monday and we've been going over the different companies expressing interest in building in Springfield. So, I have the afternoon free."
She looks at him and then reaches for him. He reaches up to brush a strand of hair from her cheek before he leans in to kiss her. She pulls away after a couple moments. He pulls her to him as she moves closer, deepening the kiss, as she reaches for him, burying her fingers in his hair as she moves onto his lap. She straddles him as he slowly he moves his hands down her back, pulling her closer. He feels her body pressing against his while sweet waves of desire rush over them. Breaking the kiss, he pulls back. "I love you." He says, reaching up to put his hand against her neck. Her pulse beats against hand. Slowly he moves his thumb over her pulse and feels it jump.
"I love you too." She says, wrapping her arms around his neck.
He leans forward, softly kissing the side of her neck. Reaching for her waist, he gathers her shirt in his hands pulling it up as she leans in, kissing him. He gently tickles her back and she shivers as he looks up, swallowing as desire surges through him. She looks into his eyes. Reading the fire in them, she kisses him as she moves her hands up his chest, gently scratching him as she raises her arms and he pushes his shirt up.
When he reaches her breasts, she reaches for the shirt and pulls it over her head, tossing it to the floor as he leans back. Slowly he moves his eyes down her body. After a moment, he reaches for her breast. Cupping it, he looks up and watches her reaction. He smiles when he feels another shiver of desire charge through her. He moves his finger over her nipple and she sucks in a breath, holding it as she swallows. He teases her for several moments until she closes her eyes. "Watch me." He says. "I want to watch your desire build." He says, as she opens her eyes.
Sparks flash, as he squeezes her nipple, rolling it gently between his thumb and finger. She arches her back, offering her body to him. He knows what she wants but he wants to drive her a little crazy. He continues and if asked, she would swear she was burning up inside. Leaning in, he flicks her nipple with the tip of his tongue before taking it into his mouth. Wrapping his arm around her, he plays with her nipple as he moves his hands up her back. Unsnapping her bra, he pulls the straps down until her breast fall free. Releasing him, she lets the bra fall between them as he leans in again. This time take her breast directly into his mouth, treasuring her while he teases her at the same time. She reaches for him, burying one hand in his hair she clings to him, refusing to release him. If asked, there would be no way she could accurately describe the fire building inside her, except to say that she was desperate for him and him alone.
After several moments, she decides to give as good as she's getting. Laying her hands on his shoulders, she looks into his eyes when he looks up. He swallows when he reads the fierce demand and challenge in her eyes. Tightening his arm around her waist, he continues playing with her breasts. She leans in, kissing the side of his neck, pressing her tongue against the pulse beating in his neck. She can feel the rhythm rushing through him, driving onward, moving her hand from his shoulders down his chest as she whispers. "You want to tease me. You know two can play that game."
She reaches for his shirt, pulling it free before she slips her hands underneath. Slowly she moves her hands up his stomach to his chest. Gently caressing his chest as she moves up, she pauses for a moment to tease his navel before she continues. He seems to be frozen as she moves her hands over him. A throbbing pulse of heat rushes through him. His body tightens as he sucks in a deep breath.
Reaching for her again, he slowly moves his thumb over her nipple and whatever he does, she counters. Playing with his nipples as their breathing gets deeper and the fire of desire burns hotter. She settles closer to him, their bodies touching, trapping their hands between them. "Cassie!" He groans. Smiling, she rolls her hips against his erection.
Desire jumps from a controlled burn to a raging fire of need and desperation from that simple though not so innocent move. His hands drop to her hips, holding her against him. She leans into him as he pulls away. Settling his hands at her waist, he moves to lift her as she smiles. Catching his mouth, she kisses him, distracting him long enough for her move back. "I need you, please!"
"You wanted to drive me crazy." She replies, her expression challenging him. Reaching for her, he answers the challenge. Reaching for her waist, he reaches for the snap on her jeans. Popping it free, he slowly tugs on her zipper as she works his belt free. All the while, they are kissing, tasting the desire burning through each of them. Finally he slips his hand under her panties, reaching for her desire and teasing her. After a couple seconds, she gasps. "That's not fair." He slips a couple fingers inside her as she gasps, caressing her. "Richard!" She moans, rolling her hips against his hand.
A small part of him thought about pulling his hand free, but he couldn't do that to her. Deepening his caress, he watches as her desire builds, rushing her towards an intense explosion of release. He feels her take him deep as the first tingling waves of her release swells over her. Pulling his hand free, he wraps his arm around her as he moves her onto his back. Standing, he slips his shoes off as she kicks her slippers off. Unfastening his pants, he tugs his zipper down, being careful not to hurt himself. A small amount of relief rushes over him.
Sitting up, she reaches for his pants and gives them a tug, being sure to bring his boxers with them. She looks up, watching him. She watches as a pulse of desire rolls over him, kneeling in front of her, he looks up for a moment. He reaches for her jeans as she lifts her hips. He pulls them down and over her knees to her ankles. He stands up as she leans up, bracing her weight with her arms as she slowly moves her eyes down his body, taking in the rhythm of his breathing and his throbbing erection. As she sits up, he lays a hand on her shoulder as she looks up.
Kneeling beside her as she lays back, he leans over her, placing his hands beside her, he kisses her for a moment before she reaches for him. He pulls away, moving down her body, gently teasing her breasts before he moves on. He dips his tongue into her navel, teasing her more. He plays with her for a moment as he lays his hand on her hips as he looks up. She watches him before slowly opening her body to him. She expects him to touch her, but he pulls away from her navel. Moving down until he's hovering over her desire. He takes a deep breath and her scent feels his body. Driving his desire to a point of almost desperation, he leans in and gently kisses her as she arches her hips. "Richard!" She cries, arching her back.
He slips a couple fingers inside her, playing with her. As he slowly moves his tongue over her desire, pushing it higher and higher. He goes in deeper, mimicking their own personal rhythm. Arching her back, she reaches for the back of the couch and clings to it as she rolls hips against his mouth. Moving with him as he takes her higher still, suddenly the dam breaks, arching her hips higher while staggering waves of release rolls over her.
He pulls back and sucks in a deep breath. As much as he wants to push her to the edge again, he feels his own desire burning out of control His erection is beyond throbbing. He wants her so much that he's not sure how long he can last. Kneeling over her, he sucks in a deep breath, holding it for a moment before he releases it in a slow whoosh. Leaning up, she watches him before she turns to him as he holds up his hand. "Give me a moment." He says, taking deep breath as he fights for control. With a soft secret smile, she leans over him, kissing him. "Cassie!" He groans, as she moves to straddle him.
His blood burns hotter as he settles into the couch. "You think you want to wait, but I think you want me to drive you over the edge." She says quietly.
"I'm afraid…." He takes a deep breath as she reaches for his erection. Gently moving her hand over him, she pauses for a moment at the tip, pay explicit attention to that portion as she caresses him, watching him as he fights for control. "I'm going to…." He sucks in a deep breath when she releases him and before she moves closer. Taking him again, she sinks over him, guiding him inside as he grips her hips. Her body clings to his. He sucks in another breath, realizing that small fluttering waves of her release still washes over her.
"You want this." She says, leaning over him.
Bracing her hand on his chest, she rolls her hips. Savoring the feel of him inside her, she starts at a slower pace. He's fighting every moment to hold on. She looks up and reading his expression, she sits a steady rhythm, moving over him as he lifts his hips, thrusting into her and slipping deeper. She ditches the slower pace. Rocking her body back and forth, savoring each caress until suddenly her release rolls over her and her body clinches around him. That first throbbing pulse brings a surge from deep inside him.
When it's over, she sinks against him as he wraps an arm around her. They stay there for a several moments struggling to catch their breath before she sighs. He reaches up, brushing her hair back so he can see some of her face he asks. "Are you okay?"
She nods, closing her eyes, savoring the fluttering waves of her orgasm. "I'm fine. Actually, I'm more than fine. I'm wonderful, stupendous, awesome, exuberant…." She pauses for a moment.
Smiling, he says. "I get the point."
"I want this to go on and on and on and on and on and on and on."
"That many times, is it the hormones?" She lightly slaps him as he laughs.
"You know what I mean."
"Yes, I do." He says, kissing the top of her forehead.
They lay there for another few minutes before she finally pulls away. Sitting up, she looks at him and smiles. "Maybe we should go upstairs." She says, as she yawns. Before he can stop her she moves off him.
He sits up as she holds out her hand. "Already thinking about the next time." He asks, as he stands up.
She turns to him and smiles. "I think about you more than you know." She says, leaning over to kiss him.
When he pulls back, he looks up and smiles. "Good answer."
Smiling, she tugs him along behind her. Not really tugging him, because he's freely going where ever she is. They walk into the bedroom together.
She lies down and he moves in behind her. Laying his arm across her stomach, he pulls her back against him, gently kissing her shoulder as she settles back. "Pull the blanket up." She mumbles.
Sitting up, he pulls a blanket up over them, settling into his previous position. They're both asleep within a matter of minutes.
