A Fresh Start

Chapter Two Hundred Fifty Two

Rolling her onto her back, he leans back and looks down. Watching her for a moment before he moves closer, kissing her. Reaching up, she wraps her arms around his neck, deepening his kiss. Moving to his side to keep his weight off her as he nibbles gently on her lower lip until she opens her mouth, slipping his tongue inside, he plays with her mouth until she sighs softly. He pulls away and looks down. "Well have I proven why you're with me and not someone else?"

"I don't know. I never kissed Mark..."

He silences her with a kiss as she laughs. "I think I'm going to have to do more to prove my point." He mumbles, moving from her mouth over to her ear. He teases her, knowing that it will drive her insane with desire.

"J!" She sighs softly, slipping her hands into his hair. She holds him to her, closing her eyes and savoring the fill of his soft lips and the heat of his breath washing down her neck. Heat rushes over her and she decides to give as much as she's getting.

Reaching for his waist, she slips her hands between them. Bending her fingers, she moves her hands up his chest, scratching him. Fire rushes through him, feeling the heat, he shivers slightly before he lefts his head to look into her eyes. "You don't have to prove anything to me." She says, looking into his eyes. "I didn't want anyone but you then. And I don't want anyone but you now."

Smiling, he lays down beside her as she rolls to her side. Pulling her against him, he lays his hand on her stomach and immediately he feels his child push back. He moves his hand over her stomach and everywhere he touches their baby pushes back. She's watching him as he moves his hand. "What are you thinking?" She asks, reaching up to brush back a strand of hair.

"I think he's high fiving me." He replies, moving his hand again.

"Why do you think that?"

"Because everywhere I move my hand, he presses against it." He says, demonstrating what he meant.

"That's because he wants to be close to his daddy." She mumbles, as she tries to stifle a yawn.

"You need to go to sleep. We have a big day tomorrow." He says, lightly kissing her forehead.

"We do?" She says, pulling away.

He tightens his embrace, holding her still. "Tomorrow is Black Friday, and we have Christmas shopping to start."

"You want to do the Black Friday sales. You hate Black Friday and you've never cared what you paid for something."

"But we have a child to think about."

She laughs as she pulls away and he lets her go. "That would work next year. He's not here yet."

"So does that mean we can't get started early." He says as she laughs softly, snuggling against him, closing her eyes and within moments she's asleep. He lightly kisses her forehead, holding her until he falls asleep.

Rolling to her side, Marah stares out her bedroom window. It seems extra bright outside. Pushing the covers back, she shuffles over to the window and pulls the curtain back. The ground is covered with about an inch of snow. She stands there staring at the snow. She's still standing at the window when Reva knocks quietly. She turns as the door opens. "I didn't know if you were up." Reva says, standing in the doorway.

"Now you know that I am." Marah says, walking over to her bed. "But I actually think I'm going to go back to bed." She says, reaching for the covers.

"It's the first snow of the season."

"I saw that." She says, pulling the covers up.

"And you're not going to go out and play..."

"I'm not ten any more Mom." She says, leaning against her headboard.

"Marah, you can't hide..."

"Hide! Is that what you think I'm doing? I'm hiding. Why would I do that? Oh wait, I know. You think I'm hiding because I left Paris after the man I thought loved me actually used me, just like every other man has... well every other one but Jeffrey and he turned out to be my Uncle! So you think I'm hiding because I left Paris six months before my contract is up. I am not Reva Shayne. I don't go off half cocked. I need some time to collect myself and consider what my next step is." Marah says, looking at her. Reva stands in the doorway for a moment. "I'm actually tired. I didn't sleep well last night, or for that matter, I haven't slept well since I found out what Adam did. So can I have some time to catch my breath before you push me to get in some one's face?" Reva gives one slight nod before she slips out of the room. As soon as the door closes behind her, Marah feels guilty. She wasn't even upset at Reva. In fact, she realizes that she's only got her best interest at heart. Sighing, she lies back down and stares up at the ceiling, listening to the silence.

Josh is waiting downstairs when Reva comes back down. "Was she up?" He asks, as he looks at her. "I'll take that look to mean she wasn't happy about you coming up to check on her."

"No she wasn't. She was standing at the window when I knocked and opened the door. She wants a moment to collect herself and figure out what her next step is. She said she's not me, going off half cocked." Reva says, walking over to the coffee pot. She pours herself a cup before she turns to Josh.

"I don't think that's so much to ask. From what I found out, she's dealt with a lot in the last few months in Paris."

"You checked up on her?"

"No, I called Mindy to find out if she knew anything about what's been going on with her. She said that she was involved with a designer over there. They were doing well until a few months ago, when she accused him of stealing her designs. There was a huge fight and he fired her."

"So she didn't walk out on her contract. Why did she act like she had?" Reva asks, sipping her coffee.

"Probably because she doesn't want us to think she failed."

"Do you think this guy stole her designs?"

"I don't know. Mindy believes her. Apparently this guy she was involved with has somewhat of a dubious history. And from what Mindy said, there was some type of investigation after she was fired."

"Jeffrey wouldn't set her up with someone that was going to take advantage of her." Reva says, sitting her cup down.

"No, he didn't set this up. Apparently a couple months after she went over there the fashion house she was designing for changed leadership. This guy was the grandson of the man Jeffrey knew."

"So this guy used her and when she confronted him, he fired her."

"That's what Mindy said, and after she was fired, Marah spoke with an attorney and sued the fashion house for breach of contract. They settled out of court, with the grandson being fired from his position. I'm not sure what Marah received from the settlement. So I think we need to give her time to catch her breath and decide what she's going to do."

"Alright."

"So, do you want to get the tree?"

"We have a foot of snow out there."

"It's not a foot, more like an inch or so. It'll be gone by next week."

"You want to get a Christmas tree."

"She is home and if one thing will make her feel better is Christmas." Josh says, glancing upstairs.

"Alright, let me get dressed." Reva says, walking towards the stairs. They leave about twenty minutes later. Marah is laying in bed, listening to them and sighs when the door closes downstairs. Slowly pushing the blanket back, she gets up and walks over to the window and watches as they carefully leave the driveway.

Megan and the boys are finishing up breakfast when Frank walks into Company. He sees her but decides not to bother her. As they are leaving, Mattox ask Megan. "Are we going to have a real tree like we always do?"

"I don't know." Megan replies, handing Buzz the check. "I'll have to see if I can find a lot that sales them."

Frank overhears her as Buzz asks. "Are you looking for a real tree?"

"We usually have a real tree." Megan says, taking her change.

"There's a lot on Main Street. It opens today. And they have the best trees in town, don't they Frank." Buzz says, looking at him.

"Yes, the best." Frank replies, glancing at Megan.

"It's on Main Street?" She asks, looking at Buzz.

"Yes, across the street from CO2. A local family grows them."

"I'll have to check it out, thank you." Megan says, as she turns to go. Buzz looks at Frank.

Frank stares at him for a moment before he turns to Megan. "You know, I can help you with that if you want."

"Help me with what?" Megan asks, looking at him.

"Those tress can bet pretty big and it'll take more than one person to get any tree you buy back home. I can help with that."

"I can handle..."

"Do you really want to deal with a bulky tree and I've seen you're car."

'"What is wrong with my car?"

"There's nothing wrong with your car, but was it made to haul Christmas trees."

"My car..."

"Is a small compact car..."

"And it's not made for cutting down trees." Buzz says, as Frank smiles.

"Alright, fine." She says, looking at him.

"I promise, I won't do anything more than haul the tree for you."

"Thank you." She says, nodding as he smiles at her.

Cassie's in the bathroom the next morning, when Richard walks in. "Good morning Darling." He says, walking over to her.

"Hi." She says, turning to him.

"How are you feeling?"

"Alright, my stomach has settled for right now."

"Did you have morning sickness like that with Will?"

"It was there, but to be honest I had other things on my mind at the time, so I didn't notice how bad it was."

"Do you feel like going out? Maybe take the boys to the mall for some Christmas shopping."

"We can do that. There is one thing we can do today." She says, putting her toothbrush away.

"What's that?"

"We could take the boys and pick out our tree. The Christmas tree lot on Main street will be open now."

"You want a real tree."

"Well, it'll be better to have one this year than next, with her coming, next year it might be a little hard to have a real tree."

"That's fine and then we'll take the boys to the toy store by the mall."

"You want to take the boys to the toy store by the mall." She says, looking at him.

"What?"

"I think you want to go to the toy store by the mall and the boys are your excuse to go. You're going to spoil them just like you spoiled Tammy and Rj in San Cristobel."

"I didn't spoil Tammy and Rj when we were in San Cristobel."

"Well maybe not as much as you could have but that was only because I wouldn't let you spoil them."

"But you'll let me spoil you." He asks, slipping his arms around her waist and pulling her to him.

Smiling, she leans up and kisses him. "You can't spoil me. I have everything I want right here in my arms."

"Good answer." He says, leaning in to kiss him again. They are still kissing when Rj comes into the bathroom.

"Mom, Dad, will you please tell Will to leave me alone?" Releasing her, Richard looks at Rj as he looks up. "Yuck, you're kissing Mom again."

Cassie bursts out laughing, as Richard releases her. "Let me finish getting dressed and you can settle this latest crisis." She says, looking at Richard.

"Alright." He says, stepping away from her as she turns back to the mirror. "So, what's the problem?" He asks, leading Rj out of their bathroom.

"He keeps bugging me to play his game, but I don't want to." Rj says, as he follows Richard out of their bedroom, Smiling, Cassie listens as they leave.

"Emma, come on." Ava calls, as she pulls her coat on. Emma comes out of her room, carrying her coat.

"Can we go to the toy store by the mall?"

"We'll see if we have time." Ava says, as she looks at William. "It's cold outside so put your coat on." She says, looking at Emma.

Stopping, Emma pulls her coat on as William opens the door. Following her and Ava out the door, he locks up before he turns to Ava, slipping his arm around her waist as they walks downstairs.

Sam comes downstairs as Jeffrey comes in with a arm full of wood. "How long have you been up?" She asks, walking over to him.

"About an hour." He says, putting the wood in the box before she turns to her.

"Thought you wanted to get up early and go shopping." She says, leaning up to kiss him good morning.

"You looked so peaceful while you were sleeping that I decided to let you sleep. We can get up early next year."

"It seems like I need so much sleep now." She says, yawning.

"Well you are sleeping for two." He says, slipping his arms around her.

"I'm not sure that counts, but he is the reason that I'm tired so much."

"Is it normal being tired, or is something..."

"It's normal." She says, releasing him. "Did you eat?"

"Actually, yes." He says, as she looks at him. "I can cook."

"Since when?"

"Since I had to learn or starve." He says, walking into the kitchen. "Are you hungry?"

"I'm or I should say he's always hungry."

"Then go lay down on the couch and I'll fix you some breakfast." He says, turning her towards the living room. For a moment, she stands there watching him as he goes to the refrigerator. "I'll be fine and I'll put everything back where it belongs." He says, as she reluctantly backs out of the room.

Ten minutes later, he brings her a plate with eggs, bacon and toast on it, sitting it on the coffee table he sits down beside her as she sits up and looks at the plate. Picking up her fork, she starts to eat while he watches her. When she's finished, he takes her plate to the kitchen and then come back to her. When he sits down, she moves over to him and gives him a kiss. "Thanks for breakfast."

"You're welcome." He says with a smile when she sits back. "Just curious did you look outside before you came downstairs?"

"No, why?"

"Go look and see." He says, as she gets up and walks over to the front window. She turns to look at him when she sees the snow. "It snowed last night."

"Yes, I'd say about an inch, probably less. It'll be gone before the end of the week."

"Well, I guess we have to stay in."

"We don't have too." He says, as she looks at him.

"I put chains on my car after I saw the snow this morning."

"You put chains on your car."

"Yes, I thought maybe you might want to go out."

"What if I want to just snuggle up on the couch, with you."

"We can do that later." He says, walking over to her and putting his arms around her. "I know you and you want to go see the shops on Main street. And I'm sure you want to go to the baby store. The Christmas tree lot will be open too."

"Let me get dressed." She says, turning away from the window.

Thirty minutes later, he's closing the door for her before he walks around the car and gets in. Starting the car, he backs out of garage and they leave.

After a couple hours of shopping, Jeffrey and Sam are walking along Main Street when Jeffrey asks, nodding towards CO2. "Do you want some hot chocolate?"

She looks over and then smiles. "I'd love some." She says, as he helps her across the street. Leading her to a table, he goes to the counter while Sam sits down.

Marina looks up as Jeffrey walks up. "Hi, what can I get for you Mr. Mayor?" She asks.

"Two hot chocolates." Jeffrey says, reaching inside his coat for his wallet. Pulling out a twenty as Marina fills his order.

"Here you go." She says, putting the cups in front of him as he hands her a twenty.

"Keep the change and get yourself one too." Jeffrey says, picking up the cups.

"Thanks." She says, with a smile.

"You're welcome." He replies, before he turns around to find Sam talking to a woman. Carrying the cups over to the table, he's surprised when he walks up and finds Arianna's mother standing there. "Mrs. Owens?" He says, handing Sam her cup. "How did you get out of jail?"

"Ummm, Mrs. Bauer spoke with the judge and convinced him to let me out on bail. I was released yesterday with the stipulation that I stay away from Arianna until after the trial." She replies, as Jeffrey sits down beside Sam.

"Well, that's wonderful that you're out. But Judge Reynolds is not someone you can play with." Jeffrey says, sipping his hot chocolate. "If he's ordered you to stay away from Arianna, then that's what you need to do."

"I know, and I haven't contacted her. I'm actually out looking for work. Now that I'm out on bail I need to find a job so that I can show that I'm able to support Arianna after the trial."

"Mel's a good lawyer but this is going to a fight." Jeffrey says, as Sam looks at him. He catches the look. "I don't mean to discourage you. Getting a job and a place to live is the next step but you also have to be aware of the possibility that there could be a different outcome than what you're hoping for."

"I know, but I want to be ready and this is the first time in months that I've felt like I have some chance of getting my daughter back. I have to do this."

"Then go for it." He says, as Reva and Josh walk up to the CO2.

"I have a lot to do. I just wanted to thank both of you for your support."

"You're welcome." Sam says, taking her hand. "I'll be there to testify."

"Thank you. I know this has put you in some danger and I appreciate the chance you're taking." Debbie says, as Reva and Josh walk up.

"Hello." Reva says. "I hope we're not interrupting."

"No, I was just leaving. I have a few more stops to make before it's too late. Thank you again." She says, looking at Jeffrey and Sam.

"You're welcome." Jeffrey says. She leaves as Reva and Josh sit down.

"Who was that?" Josh asks, watching her walk away.

"That is Arianna's mother." Sam says, sipping her hot chocolate as Reva and Josh watch her walk away.

"You mean that's the mother of the patient you help and the reason your brother tried to have you kidnapped." Josh says, looking at Sam.

' "Yes, she was released on bail I'm assuming yesterday and she wanted to thank Jeffrey and I for our help with her case. I'm scheduled to testify at her trial and Jeffrey spoke with Mel Bauer and she's agreed to represent her."

"You're still going to testify after your brother tried to stop you by kidnapping you." Josh asks.

"His attempted kidnapping had more to do with the fact that I'm no longer a part of his organization than it had to do with me testifying at her trial."

"Sam, you know it's more than that." Jeffrey says.

"Yes, but my rejection of our father's teachings and the fact that I married you in front of a priest..."

"A Mexican priest." Jeffrey clarifies.

"Okay, he was Mexican. I was ignoring that point in my brother's objection to our marriage, along with the fact that I was pregnant before we got married. Those are the true driving forces behind his attempt to kidnap me. Debbie and Arianna are simply excuses for him to do what he's done."

"What I don't understand is how you ended up the way you are and he's so completely off." Josh says.

"I'm the way I am because I questioned the things our father taught us, especially after I started seeing my mother behind our father's back. Miah would never listen to me when I spoke about the things my mother told me and Megan, well Megan was too young to really catch on to what was happening until they tried to force her to leave Patrick. But enough about my familial issues, how is Marah?" Sam asks, surprising both Reva and Josh.

"She's okay, I guess." Reva says.

"I think she needs time to figure out what her next move is." Josh says.

"Do you know what happened in Paris?" Jeffrey asks.

"From what I could gather from Mindy, the fashion house she was working for was caught stealing her designs."

"Well, not the house but one of the other designers." Reva says.

"Jean Paul wouldn't do that." Jeffrey says, rushing to his friends defense.

"That's what Mindy said. Apparently shortly after Marah arrived in Paris, your friend's grandson took over control of the fashion house. He and Marah started dating and they were living together, when she found out that he was stealing from her."

"How did she find out?" Jeffrey asks.

"I'm not sure. Mindy didn't know either when I asked her. But when Marah confronted him about it, she and this guy got into a huge fight and he fired her."

"He fired her?" Jeffrey asks.

"That's what Mindy said."

"He wouldn't be able to do that." Jeffrey says.

"Why not?" Reva asks.

"I made sure Marah had a clause built into her contract that if any unethical dealings were uncovered, she had the option to back out of the deal. If she can prove that he was stealing her designs, he has to pay her $218,567.22. That's the conversion amount from Euro to US, for the amount setup in the contract." Jeffrey says.

"Does Marah know about this clause?" Josh asks.

"Yes, I pointed it out to her. I made sure she knew about it so that she would know that she's covered if anything wasn't on the level. I trusted Jean Paul, but he had other designers working for him and there was always a chance one of them could've done something."

"Mindy said that Marah sued them, but she didn't know how it all turned out." Josh says.

"Maybe you could talk with her." Reva says, looking at Jeffrey.

Jeffrey pauses for a moment before he says. "I'm not sure I should be the one to talk to her about it."

"I'll have our one of the Lewis lawyers speak with her." Josh says, as he looks at Reva.

"I think maybe we should get going. We've still got some shopping to do." Reva says, as Josh stands up.

"You don't have to go." Jeffrey says, standing up as Reva gets up.

"It's getting late." She says.

"It was good to see you." Sam says, as she and Josh nods. They turn to go as Jeffrey sets back down.

He looks at her as they both take a sip of their hot chocolate. "I hope I didn't offend them." He says, as he sits his cup down.

She looks at him for a moment before she says. "I hope you didn't decline to talk to Marah because of me." When he looks away, she sighs. "I know it's awkward but she's your niece, you can't avoid her."

"That's not the only reason I told them that." He says, as she looks at him.

"What was the other reasons?" She asks, looking at him. " That's what I thought." She says, when he doesn't say anything.

"Do you want to look at some other shops?" He asks, trying to drop the subject.

She looks at him and then sighs as she nods. "We still have a couple to look at." She says, as he stands up.

Helping her up, he slips his arm around and draws her close to him. Turning his head, he lightly kisses the side of hers. "I love you.

"I love you too, but we're not through talking about this." She says, putting her arm around his waist.

A couple hours later, they are walking out of one of the shops when Ava and William walk by with Emma. "Dad." Ava says, as he looks up.

"Hi, sweetheart." He says, reaching to hug her. They hug and then he and William shake hands as Sam and Ava hug.

"We're going to buy a Christmas tree." Emma says, after hugging Sam and Jeffrey.

"You are." Sam says, as she nods.

"And then we're going to the toy store."

"That sounds like fun. I loved going to the toy store when I was a kid." Jeffrey says, as she nods.

"I'm gonna show William and Ava everything I want for Christmas." She says.

"Well, remember to save some things for Santa." Jeffrey says.

"I will."

"I see you've both been shopping." Ava says.

"Ummm, actually she's shopping. I'm carrying the bags." Jeffrey says, looking at Sam and smiling.

"Actually, half of those bags are yours." Sam says, looking at him. "Why is that men like to pretend that it's all women when it comes to shopping. He would by out the store if he could. And do you know what he suggested last night."

"I'm not sure I want to imagine that." Ava says, as Sam smiles.

"He suggested that we get up early for the Black Friday sales so that we can start Christmas shopping for him." Sam says, laying her hand on her stomach.

"Thankfully William did not suggest that."

"That is because I knew better." He says, as Ava looks at him while Jeffrey and Sam smile.

"I was surprised when Jeffrey suggested we get up early." Sam says, looking at him.

"Oh, so that's where she gets it from." William says.

"I am perfectly fine getting up in the morning." Ava says, as William looks at them and smiles.

"Do not even think about talking to him until he's had a cup of coffee." Sam says.

"I am not that bad." Jeffrey says, as Sam looks at him with one eyebrow lifted.

"I remember a time when you jumped all over me..."

"We went to bed two hours earlier and had been out drinking at the end of an assignment. If I recall, you weren't that chipper that morning either."

"I want to hear about this." Ava says, looking at them.

Jeffrey looks at Sam and then says. "We could tell you but then we would have to kill you."

"Come on, you could at least tell me where you were at."

"Somewhere in Central America, I think. It's sort of fuzzy." Jeffrey says, looking at Sam. "But I will say this do not shoot tequila with her."

"I can't help I if you can't hold your liquor."

"Hey I can hold my liquor. I can so hold my liquor."

"You're the one complaining about not keeping up." Sam says, as Richard, Cassie and the boys walk up.

"What's this about liquor?" Richard asks.

"It's nothing." Jeffrey says, after greeting them.

"Dad was telling me about one of his many escapades with Sam, something about Central America and shooting tequila." Ava says, looking at Jeffrey as Richard and Cassie both look at him.

"And that's all the details we're giving." He says, as Sam laughs.

"He doesn't want to admit that I beat him at tequila shots. Point of fact after that night, I haven't been able to shoot tequila since." She says.

"What are you guys out doing?" Jeffrey asks, looking at Richard and Cassie.

"We were getting a jump on some Christmas shopping." Cassie says.

"And we're going to get a tree." Rj says. "We're going to have a real tree like we had when we lived at the palace." He says, as Jeffrey nods, remembering the Christmas he spent there as Richard.

"The tree in San Cristobel was beautiful." He says, as he looks at Sam. "They had two huge trees at the palace."

"One would be in the front entrance and one for the family upstairs." Richard says, remembering the tree.

"How big were they?" Ava asks, looking at William.

"Ummm, sixteen feet both of them and they there was the public tree in the square outside the Cathedral downtown. That one was over twenty feet." He says, looking at Richard.

"I think it was twenty two feet to be exact. The rest of the palace would be decorated with white Christmas lights and garland. There were poinsettias in every room too." Richard says.

"The only thing missing from the holiday was the snow." Cassie says.

"No snow!" Emma says, looking at them.

"Nope, it's too hot." William says. "It snowed on Mt. Winslow, but only at the highest elevations."

"But in the capital it never snowed." William says.

"Speaking of snow, what did you guys think when you got up this morning?" Jeffrey asks, looking at Rj, Will and Emma.

"I wanted to go out and play in it, but we came to town instead." Will says.

"You can play in the snow when we get home." Cassie says, looking at him.

"It'll be too late." He says, looking at the melting snow as Richard ruffles his hair.

"I promise this is not the last of the snow." He says, as Will looks at him.

"But it's the first snow and we could have snow ice cream."

"Not with the first snow." Sam says.

'Why not?" He asks, looking at her.

"It's the dirtiest of the season." She says, as he looks at the snow.

"I don't understand. It doesn't look dirty."

"It's dirty because it has all the pollutants from the up in the sky. This was only a couple of inches of snow. If you want to eat snow ice cream, you'll need to wait till it snows more." She says, looking at Will.

"Alright." He says, shrugging his shoulder. He goes back to talking with Emma and Rj.

"We need to go if we're going to go to the toy store." William says, as Rj and Will turn around.

"Can we go to the toy store too?" Rj asks. "I want to look at the new games."

"Me too." Will says.

"You only want to look at the games because I want to look at the games." Rj says, looking at Will.

"I do not." Will says.

"Boys." Cassie says, stopping the fight before it gets started. "We'll go to the toy store, if you stop arguing."

"Yes." Both of them say with a fist pump.

"Ummm, something to look forward to." Jeffrey says, looking at Sam.

"Have either of you talked to Josh or Reva about Marah?" Cassie asks, looking at Jeffrey and Sam.

"We saw them a couple hours ago at CO2."

'"Did they say anything about Marah?"

"Nothing more than what she told us yesterday." Jeffrey says.

"I guess I'll call her when I get home." Cassie says, before she hugs both of them along with Ava and William.

"We're going to go too." Ava says, hugging Jeffrey and Sam again.

"We'll need to get with Reva again about Christmas." Sam says, looking at Ava and Cassie.

"I'll mention it to her when I talk to her and let you know." Cassie says before they all leave.

When they are alone, Jeffrey turns to Sam. "Where to now?" He asks.

"I'm sort of hungry." She says, looking at him.

"Alright, pizza." He asks, as she nods.

When they finish eating, they walk over to the Christmas tree lot. And after picking out a tree, Jeffrey arranges to have it delivered the next day. Their last stop is to get Christmas decorations and a tree stand for the tree before going home. He's sitting on the couch when Sam comes downstairs from putting the rest of their shopping up. "I rented a movie for us." He says, as she sits down.

"Which one."

"It's A Wonderful Life." He says, as she settles against him. "Do you want some popcorn?" He asks, as she shakes her head no.

"I'm still full from the pizza." She says, as she tucks her feet under her and laying her head against his shoulder.

He puts his arm around her as the movie starts. About half-way through the movie, she notices that he's running his fingers through her hair, gently massaging her scalp. She looks up and then turns her attention back to the movie. For the first half of the movie, he's been aware of her hand sitting on his thigh. And after she notices that he's running his fingers through her hair, she begins noticing other things, like the heightened rhythm of his breathing, the increased body temperature and the way he subtly shifts his position from time to time. Leaning up, she reaches for the remote. When she turns the TV off, he looks at her. "How long do we have to watch that?"

"Umm, it's for the weekend." He says, looking at her.

"Good." She says, moving onto his lap. "Because I think you've got other things on your mind." She says, as he looks up and she leans in, kissing him. Wrapping his arms around, they settle into the kiss.

He slides his hands up her body, caressing her breasts through her shirt. After several moments, he pulls away to catch his breath. He nibbles his way along her jaw to her ear where he plays with her ear, running his tongue along the outline of it. She closes her eyes. Bending her nails, she scratches his stomach with each breath that he draws. Relaxing her fingers, she glides them up his chest towards his nipple as she moves over to his ear, copying him. He groans softly as her warm breathe washes against him. He pulls back, laying his head on the back of the couch as she teases him. He pulls her closer. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she kisses him again. He reaches for the hem of her shirt wanting it off her but her kiss distracts him. He wraps his arms around her as she moans softly. After a couple minutes, he breaks the kiss, gasping for air as she leans up and looks into his eyes. "This is a wonderful life." She says, as he laughs.

He reaches for her shirt, pulling it up as she reaches down pulling his shirt up, working it free of his pants. Once she has it free she slip her hands underneath, bending her fingers so that she can softly scratch his stomach. He's momentarily distracted by her nails and hands caressing him. Groaning in ecstasy he leans down and captures her breast, caressing it through the material as he pushes her shirt up. When he reaches her breasts, he leans back watching as he reveals her body to him. Reaching for the hem of his shirt, she pulls it up. Leaning up, he reaches for his shirt, pulling it over his head as she does the same. They both toss them on the floor as he settles back. He slowly moves his eyes down her body. Laying his hand her stomach, he feels a soft kick and smiles before he looks up. "You are so beautiful." He says, looking her in the eye.

She leans forward, kissing him as he reaches around her. Finding the clasp of her bra, he unfastens it. Sweeping it off her shoulders, she moves back to let it fall between them. Reaching up, he pulls her against him and sucking in a deep breath when he feels her breast pressing against his chest. He reaches for her. Slipping his hand between them and cupping her breasts. For the moment, he's satisfied to simply hold her but after a couple seconds, she wants more. Pressing her body into him, he moves his thumb over her nipple. "J!" She moans, as a surge of desire rolls through her body making the muscles clinch deep inside her. She pulls him closer to her; wrapping her arms around him she arches her body towards his and allowing him to do whatever he desires. He wants to drive her crazy. Leaning forward, he replaces his thumb with his mouth, teasing her nipple with his tongue. She reaches for him, and finding his nipple she teases him until he groans. Moving back, she leans in and copies him, teasing him. Reaching for her, he turns his attention to her breasts. Softly nipping, he plays with her nipples. Arching her back, she moans as she presses her nipple into his mouth, holding him tightly.

After a while she slips her hands between them. Moving her hands down his chest, she pauses for a moment at his waist. When she's sure, he's aware of what she's doing, she reaches for his belt, working it free and then she pulls the button free. Once she has them open she reaches for his zipper and her hands brushes against his erection. He groans loudly, pressing his body against her. She reaches into his pants as he reaches down and unsnaps and unzips hers. Both reach inside caressing the other, nails softly scratching, fingers gently rubbing against the other, each silently crying for release. She arches her back, reaching for him as he pulls his hand free. "Stand up." He says. His is voice hoarse with desire.

"I want..."

"I know." He says, moving his hands to her waist. "Stand up."

She pulls away, looking at him for a moment and then moves to stand up. He helps her up and then follows her. When he reaches for his jeans, pulling them down, she realizes his intentions and follows him, pulling her jeans down. He holds onto her as she steps out of her jeans and then he steps out of his. She slowly moves her eyes over his body. He sucks in a small breath when her gaze settles on his erection and she quickly licks her lips. She watches his bodies reaction to that silent invitation. She looks up and whispers. "I so need you, now."

He sinks back down to the couch, reaching for her hand. He pulls her to him. Straddling him, she settles against him, his erection, pressing against her desire. Slowly she rocks her hips against his, teasing them. "Beca!" He groans, holding her against him as she continues. He tries to slips inside her, but she's too close to him. "Beca, please." He groans helplessly.

She continues until he can't take it anymore. Lifting her, he enters her slowly, feeling her body close around his. Groaning, as her body reacts to his invasion. Soon the need for movement overcomes them and she moves against his thrust, as he lifts his hips, burying his body deep inside hers until she cries out. "Oh yes, J!"

"Yes, baby." He groans, holding onto her sliding hips.

She pulls him deeper into her body, possessing his mind and soul. With each thrust they come closer to their release and just as they are about to reach it he stops her as she cries out. "Please, J!" Arching her body against his, begging him to let her continue.

"I love you. Do you know how much I love you?" He asks, looking into her eyes.

"Yes." She swallows. "And I love… you too… but I… need… you now…" She gasps, her muscle clinching around his erection involuntarily.

He thrust into her, then again, then once more. Her release crash within her, pulling him deeper, milking his erection, he pushes deeper, drawing out her release. After a moment her release triggers his. She collapses against him as gentle waves of their release sweep through them. Turning his head, he lightly kisses her neck as he whispers. "I love you."

"And I love you." She replies in a soft whisper.
