Prompt: Life
A hand came up and rested on her stomach. Eyes closed as a small smile grew on her face. She couldn't believe this was happening. Something she wanted since she was a little girl. It was almost too real.
Hearing the doorbell ring, she sprang to her feet and went and opened the door. "Teddy, you came."
He nodded, smiling as he kissed her forehead in a greeting. "Of course, I did. You said you wanted to talk."
"Teddy, come sit down." She pulled him over to the couch, so he could be ready.
Teddy nodded as he found himself in a seat before turning back to look at Victorie as she paced around. "You okay?"
She nodded as she drank some water before sitting down once again. "Teddy, I'm pregnant."
There was silence between the two of them before he spoke. "You're sure?"
She nodded. "Yes, Teddy, I'm sure."
Teddy glanced away a second, hand rubbing the back of his neck. He closes his eyes before he's looking over at her again with a small smile. He leaned in, pressing his lips against hers in a small kiss and for a moment, she knows she's right.
She known she's done the right thing and told him about the life growing inside.
