I do not own Tokyo Ghoul or Code Geass, just to make it clear…is it clear? On with the story.

Chapter 3: Nunally

He didn't know why he was in this place, but he could make up a few theories. Lelouch was in C's world, the Sword of Akasha specifically. It was still as destroyed as it was, which satisfied him. He didn't want a world stuck in the past. Especially when his only access to his home world was through the world of C. For now though, he simply wondered why of all things, after his little awakening, he would be stuck here and not in hospital. Lelouch hoped it was his consciousness and not body that was here, because it would be quite weird for the doctors if he just vanished. He chuckled a bit at that thought. Well, if he was even found, chances are he's dead.

"So, if you are here, you must've changed the course of the timeline you were sent to by a lot, we assume you are the one that was attacked by the ghoul?" Voices rung through the world, welcoming Lelouch with a question.

"Indeed. I believe that if i wasn't there, Kaneki would've been the one right? And through the hands of luck he would've made it out alive". Was Lelouch's assumption. Of course, if he wasn't there to warn his innocent self, he would've probably changed nothing, and he would've been mostly a spectator to everything. Of course, he wouldn't let that happen. Zero changed fate, and he changed the fate of his second world, for the best or for the worst.

"Correct. That was what was supposed to happen, of course, you changed that, or else you wouldn't be here" the voices answered. Now, to why he was brought here, now of all times.

"So, why am i here? I hope this is only my consciousness, and i would like to get to work as soon as possible. This new world has plenty of things to change." Lelouch asked the Collective unconscious.

"We can understand that now that you have taken an interest into this world that you would like to get to work as soon as possible. You are correct, this is only your consciousness, And to answer your question, someone requested that they would like to see you as soon as possible, and, since we gave you access to this place from your new world, we decided we might as well grant their request." The Collective Unconscious responded.

"People wish to see me? Who? And why?" Lelouch asked, intrigued and a bit surprised. How did they know? How did they discover this place? Why would they want to see me? Who were they? These questions swirled inside his mind as he made way for one of the pieces of rubble in the 'shrine', and sat down on it.

"That is for you to see and figure out, after all, there would be no point in their coming if we told you everything" the voices answered. At least Lelouch could see the logic behind that.

"Very well, when will i see them?"

"Right about now, we have just informed them that you have arrived." Was the last statement the voices made before the world of C returned to silence. Lelouch waited a minute. Two minutes. Suddenly wind appeared, and clouds settled a few meters from his seat. At least from what he knew, that would mean that the visitors had arrived, and sure enough, the clouds cleared, and out of them came out 2 figures he never thought he'd see again, well, not in the flesh.

In a wheelchair and in white colored Imperial clothes, the butterfly necklace in place, was Nunally Vi Britannia, with a surprised look. The same beautiful hair, eyes and skin. She probably didn't age a single day, behind her, pushing her wheelchair was Zero, well, more likely Suzaku, but he also heard a gasp of surprise from the mask.

"N-Nunally?" Was all Lelouch managed to choke out before they arrived before him. Right now, she was barely a meter away from him, smiling cutely at him, just like she would always do back when they were at Ashford.

"Its me…how are you, big brother?" Nunally said, she seemed on the verge of tears. He was as well, but he tried to keep it all in. He had to act strong, at least for his little sister.

"…i'm fine Nunally, just surprised to see you" he replied, staying strong.

"When they told me that we could see you, i thought they would be joking, but apparently not, since your standing before us in the flesh" Zero spoke up, the booming voice, resembling his zero voice, it was adapted like that so people couldn't tell the difference.

Suzaku…is it still you behind the mask?" He asked. Although he was pretty sure of the answer.

Zero raised his hand to his mask, the plates shifted, and he removed the chess king shaped mask. Brown curly hair came down, emerald eyes and a serious/soft look. Lelouch was sure then, that Zero was still Suzaku Kururugi.

"Its good to see you again, Lelouch." Suzaku said, holding his mask in his right hand. A reunion of old friends, if he had to choose a few words to describe the feeling, it would be 'feels just like home'.

"Suzaku…Nunally, i'm so glad to see you both again" Lelouch closed his eyes to stop the crying, but he felt he felt a soft hand wiping away his forming tears. He opened his eyes again snd raised his head to look right into Nunally's eyes, which were crying as well. Immediately, Lelouch wiped away his sister's tears.

"Big brother, i can take care of myself now…" Nunally was pouting cutely, Lelouch chuckled a bit at that.

"That's no good now is it?" Nunally giggled a bit, she was still smiling like an angel. "How am i supposed to spend my brotherly affection then?"

"How about a hug? They are free!" He looked up at Nunally, and softened up even more.

"I'm sure i can do that" The older brother hugged his younger sister, and she patted him on the head. She then looked up at the unmasked zero.

"Suzaku, come on join in! He's your best friend isn't he?" Susakucould not deny the puppy eyes she was giving him, so, he got closer, and hugged them both.

'It truly feels just like home' the ex-demon emperor thought. It was him, his sister, and his best friend, just like old times. They stayed like that for a while, until Nunally finally let them go, Lelouch and Suzaku then proceeded to stand back up.

"Well…that was…nice" the young empress nodded at her older brother's comment. It sure was nice.

"What now?" He continued,

"Well, can we get to know how your still…amongst us?" Suzaku asked, serious mode back on, it seemed he only can get soft for very special occasions, however that occasion ended.

"The collective unconscious gave me a second chance, one to save a world from its current course, that is the only reason i can give you, or at least the only one i know of."

"Save a world? Big brother, what do you mean by that?" His younger sister seemed interested, and judging the fact she was his little sister, there was very little he could do to hide the truth. After all, he once promised to never lie, however, that promise may not stand anymore.

Lelouch spaced out, Nunally was getting more and more intrigued about what her brother was thinking about.

"Lelouch, did your mind have a crash?" Suzaku got closer and waved his hand in front of his best friend's face, still wearing the same frown.

"Excuse, me i was just lost in my thoughts, i too am trying to figure out how i'm supposed to save a world. But, if its about the same saving i did for this world, then i…" suddenly, the demon emperor made an expression of surprise, intriguing his younger sister.

"Big brother?"

"Nunally…did Suzaku tell you of…the Zero requiem? And how did you know it was Suzaku in the first place?" Instead of Nunally answering, the unmasked Zero stepped in to answer in her place.

"She had mostly figured it had by the time she had asked me. You know Lelouch, your sister is very straightforward, i mean, she had asked for Suzaku, not Zero. I was shocked and surprised at how much she had figured out by the time she confronted me, the only thing she got wrong was the ."

He chuckled, yes, his little princess had gotten very sharp, there was no other way to describe it. She has to relied on her innocence and age to surprise anyone, especially in the world of politics, there was no other explanation. The stress from his previous realization gone.

"So, getting back on topic, indeed, if its like i did, then saving this world should be easy, play the bad guy again, get everyone to hate me, and then i die, quite simple" however, his sister was not of the same opinion.

"Big brother, that's no good, you were given a second chance no? You should be happy about it! They can't be all that bad! You made some friends didn't you? You should stay in that world and make it a better place, and not be the bad guy…you don't deserve to be the bad guy…"

Nunally had a point, this second chance, this second world, this second life. It was given to him, and like life, should not be wasted, god, the unconscious, was forgiving, no matter how many he killed, it would give him a second chance, it probably gave a second chance to his parents.

Now that got him thinking, were his parents from his new world his original parents that seeked redemption? That question would have to be saved for a later date. No matter the deaths his father committed, all the evil, was in pursuit of happiness. For all evil is resulted from a human's pursuit of happiness, and as his brother Schneizel said, it would also lead to greed. Simply put, no human was completely evil, they deserved a second chance, but with the lesson learnt. Yes, this had to be why he was given a second chance, the collective unconscious probably used his debt as an excuse.

"Lelouch? This is the second time you've spaced out, might want to wake up" Suzaku was waving his hand in front of his face. Again.

"I'm sorry, i just realized something. Thank you for the insight Nunally, i will try to not play the bad guy this time, for your sake, the one's i left behind here, and the new ones i made in my new world." Nunally nodded in approval.

"Alright, then i would like to see you again if i'm not being selfish…is that alright?"

"Its fine Nunally, i'll see when i can, i'll get the collective unconscious to tell you when i can, after all, i have access to this place"

"Thank you big brother!" His little sister beamed with happiness, and pulled him down for a hug, which he returned happily.

"Anything for you, Nunally" he patted her on the back of the head, and when the hug ended, he kissed her forehead and got up.

"Suzaku, do you mind if i take the mask?"

"Umm…not really, i have a few spare ones, but why?" The face of pure intrigue on his best friend amused Lelouch. But he passed the mask nonetheless.

"It will remind me what I am fighting for, and for who" he stared into the reflective visor of the Zero mask. Lelouch swore he could see for a second who and what he was fighting for, but no tume wondering if he's gone mad.

In the meantime, Suzaku and Nunally had a conversation, he could tell by the scolding the Empress was giving the second Zero, it was probably related to the mask, Lelouch was sure it was due to the fact he'd have to walk all the way to his room maskless. Still, its nice to see that death and almost dying a second time didn't totally destroy his mind functions.

"It was nice seeing you both again" this interrupted their friendly spat and quickly composed themselves. Was this Nunally's way of scolding Suzaku? A little pouty face and menacing to not being able to have physical exercice? The demon emperor would kill for such…wait, already did that, need a better argument. Too bad Suzaku answered before he came up with one.

"Yes it was".

"Until next time then" Nunally waved goodbye at him, and he waved back, slowly, the wind picked up and the dust created a blanket of smoke, when it settled, Lelouch Vi Britannia had returned to his world.

The demon has found his purpose again.

Author's notes: well that wraps this chapter. Took around 2 weeks to write this, However, with the final exams in a month or two the update rate will slow down, sorry about that, but i'll try to keep to the rhythm of a chapter at max every month, but right now, its still every two weeks (kinda) so try not to fear, i will do my best to keep it at that rhythm!

Anyways, involvement of code geass characters? Check. I also already know where to bring the story to (the next few chapters) except for shipping, but i'm very open on that idea. Especially since Code Geass is back in the mix.

I hope i didn't mess much up in this chapter anyways.
