I do not own Tokyo Ghoul nor Code Geass, its like saying i am the president of the USA…wait a minute…does Donald Trump write Fanfiction?
It was a hospital room, that much was sure for Lelouch. He was saved, it seems that his time wont be limited here…he finally came back, the Lelouch Lamperouge this world formed is on leave, Lelouch Vi Britannia has taken his place.
The raven haired boy looked around, trying to take into account his surroundings. He was in a basic hospital bed in a basic hospital gown in a basic hospital room. It was good enough though. It was probably early morning, since the sun was quite low and the darkness was fading.
However, there was his Zero mask on the table next to the bed, the reflective visor looking right at him, Lelouch looked at himself. He was the same as in his old world, maybe a little more fit, although he had gained some strength towards the end of his crusade, it was nothing compared to Suzaku. But this might prove useful in the long run. Now then back to mask.
How did the mask get here anyways? He was only spiritually in C's World…logic probably doesn't work in C's world anyways, no point thinking much into that, he had a plan to apply, once he understood what situation he was in.
Lelouch could easily see the solution to this. It was the relationship between ghouls and humans. The ghouls ate humans as they were their only food source, and humans feared them for it, even going to tracking them down to "deliver justice". Sure, most ghouls killed humans no matter who they were, according to media, but he was ready to bet that some ghouls had found solutions, they were still humans, just somewhere along the line they mutated into something else.
Ghouls, no matter their intentions, were considered evil, that was the line all of humanity had drawn, even his previous self in this world believed that. Discriminated for their birthright, he knew how it felt like, the son of the commoner empress, the commoner prince, ignored at best by most of his family, and at worst despised and openly attacked, but it never involved killing, until V.V. took it too far.
The solution was to mend the relationship, that was the solution. But to get to the solution was far harder. Murder, no matter if it was a criminal, was not accepted in this world, in most countries at least, exterminating either side so that only one remained was unthinkable as well, just simply because of the amounts of deaths and he was sent here to 'repent'. The main problems were the survival of ghouls in the equation and the already established human fear and hatred towards them.
Ghouls could not last if they were to stop killing humans. They could eat suicide victims, serve as machines of war, or even as the executioner in countries where it the death penalty was allowed, but the fact was that there would simply not be enough of each, and the last two ideas would not deal with the human fear and hatred factors. It would take a long time to do this. Maybe he couldn't even fix it, but just place it on the right track, give it all the factors, just like the zero requiem. That may be an idea. Become the most hated man on the planet. However, repenting meant not to commit atrocious things or threatening to commit them. So, for now, he would just have to gather information and come up with something later.
For now though, its time for breakfast.
Breakfast was…to put it bluntly, disgusting. Everything tasted horrible, maybe its just how hospital food was like, however even then it tasted worse than some meals he had to take quickly before black knight operations, and those were sometimes quite foul.
Lelouch had barely eaten anything and he was trying to go back to sleep when the nurse came in.
"Mr Lamperouge, you haven't eaten breakfast yet, do you not feel hungry? Well, after the accident you went through i guess its expected" she noticed he was sleeping, or at least she thought he did, because she picked up the tray and exited the room. "Good day mr Lamperouge".
After the nurse left, Lelouch tried to find sleep, there was just a sensation of something wrong, but he couldn't put his finger on it, so he was back to trying to get some rest, and after half an hour of struggling, he did.
It had been a week he spent in hospital, and he was set to be released today, but Lelouch was hungry, quite hungry. For some reason or another his taste buds (he highly doubted that hospital food tasted that bad) were processing taste with foul add ons. It quickly ruined his hunger for an hour, before coming back and almost tearing his stomach apart. Well, it felt like it.
Right then, a man with white hair and eldery features came into his room and white doctor coat on his chest. Dr Kanou was the one in charge of the hospital, and that saved his life by ignoring a few rules and taking the backlash for it. He was grateful towards him, but every time he would see him, he felt as if something was wrong. His smile changed when he told him that he hadn't been eating and it tasted foul, he said it was related to trauma, but Lelouch had seen worse, this was not related to trauma, something else seemed to be at work.
"Ah, Mr Lamperouge, i hope i did not disturb you at any importunate time." The doctor said as he sat down on a chair next to the raven haired boy's bed.
"No doctor, i was just looking at the mask my friends brought me, it reminds me of some adventures i had."
"Oh? Very well, well i will make this short" the doctor answered.
"Take as much time as you need doctor, i am in no hurry" Lelouch kindly proposed. He wanted to get out of here and get to work, so he could finally die, and save this world. But basic decorum and manners had forced him to reply like that. Old habits die hard.
"No no, i wouldn't want to disturb you more than i already have" dr Kanou politely declined
"Now then, i saw that you haven't eaten much at all, even today, do you still feel that the food taste is…awful?" He asked Lelouch which was holding the Zero mask that was on the nightstand in his right hand, staring through the reflective surface, reflecting his stare right onto doctor Kanou's face.
"Yes, i imagine it will get better after a while, this accident was a frightening thing." He casually responded, the doctor's smile twitched upwards, barely noticeable, but the master of masks knew something was going on.
"I hope so too. Now…you said you had no direct family members…ah yes, do you wish to have sessions with a therapist to help you recover from the accident?"
Lelouch smiled kindly at the older man "No, it should be fine, i will contact you if my condition worsens, otherwise, i wouldn't want to burden you with such a thing." He replied.
"Well one last question then. A woman visited you today but she left no identification card and only went by the name C.C. Do you know who she is? A friend?"
This question shocked him.' C.C. ? Here? That can't be possible…only Nunally and Suzaku know of me…even though she has a connection with C's world…could she have been the one that tipped off Nunally about the Sword of Akasha? How did she get here? Damn witch, so unpredictable…i wonder where she is….' Lelouch was deep in thought until he gave an answer.
"She is someone i made a promise a year ago, she is a good friend, she goes by her initials don't mind her" was his response.
"Very well Mr Lamperouge, i will trust you on this matter" the doctor then gave Lelouch a smile, and started talking again.
"Then everything checks out Mr. Lamperouge, have a pleasant day." " you too doctor" he answered back. The doctor then got up and left the room, closing the door, and he heard him talking with someone on the other side. Lelouch finally placed the mask back down.
'Schneizel has a better mask than you doctor. But i will get on your case another time' he smirked a bit, and looked out the window.
'Well then…'

Lelouch had left hospital later that day. The zero mask in his bag. He headed straight for his apartment. When he reached the tall building in Tokyo, he had a nagging feeling of hunger, but waved it off. He was getting used to being hungry now. When he unlocked his apartment door and entered his home, he was pleased with himself. The cleaning he had done prior to assisting Kaneki on his date. Date.
He hadn't thought of that day yet. He was more focused on solving questions, but remembering Rize and the ghoul she was gave him a whole new perspective on the matter.
'Rize…a terrifying ghoul, maybe the one that was on television, she had those eyes, black and red, with those 4 red tentacles coming out her back.' If it was the previous Lelouch, seeing her blow her head apart would have been something to vomit over, but not him. He had seen worse in his torture chambers when he was hunting down the last of Schneizel's contacts and supporters.
He made his way to his kitchen, dropping off his bag, still thinking, and filled up a kettle with water and heated it up.
'Of course…some ghouls like Rize would probably be against his ideas. They enjoy murder and the fresh look of terror on their victims. Those would have to eliminated…but how? I do not possess much power apart from my Geass, and i should use it more as a trump card. If someone figures that out, i will loose my only weapon to killing a ghoul.'
The water had finished boiling and he poured himself a cup of coffee, Lelouch made his way to the living room to pick off where he left off with his book, cup of coffee in hand, for now, it was time to relax. He grabbed the TV remote and turned on the television to the news, a routine his old self did in this world. The raven haired boy was surprised that his old self had some of his taste of furniture and cleaning, or he would've praised his old parents for having correctly raised him.
He sat down on the couch and picked up where he left off, removing the bookmark. It would now be an enjoyable afternoon. At least he could forget his hunger until night time. Then he would have diner.

"Mr Ogura, why can't ghouls be satisfied by eating the same food as humans do?" The question asked by a woman on TV caught his interest. Ever since the topic about ghouls had come up with this specialist on the set, he had been paying close attention to it.
"No, ghouls are only able to derive their nutrition from people. Not to mention that their tongues work differently than ours do. When they taste human food, it tastes horrible to them" the specialist continued, and now Lelouch was wondering.
'Could this be the problem i am affected with? I have no memories of my previous self being a ghoul…Rize…the woman that was brought with me…they transferred her organs in me! But…It has to be a specific organ…one around my abdomen region…since my lung was only punctured…could it be…my abdomen? No…they wouldn't bother replacing that, or back in my old world they didn't. Then it has to be something more vital…a kidney. It was possible. The woman's tentacles came out of her lower back. Could it be that the organ that allows ghouls to unleash their tentacles be in the same region as a kidney? Maybe that could explain why the doctor looked pleased when he said that he didn't eat. He must've done it on purpose. Well, only one way to find out'. Lelouch got up, grabbed his empty cup of coffee.
'But then…how could i drink coffee whiteout feeling disgusted or anything? This makes no sense…i'd rather be certain though'. He placed his cup in the sink, and cleaned it swiftly, then Lelouch opened his fridge and pulled out a half empty bottle of milk. He removed the cap and drank for it. Immediately after, he felt bile coming up his throat and turned to the sink, vomiting all of it out.
'This doesn't make any sense…how come can i drink coffee, but not milk?' He put the bottle away and closed the fridge. There was one last way. He had heard ghouls are attracted to human flesh through smell. Tokyo had a huge population, if he smelled something delicious in the streets, then he would have to come to accept what he now was.
Putting on his coat, Lelouch left his apartment, locking the door behind him and left into the streets of tokyo. At nighttime, workers were heading home. So it was full of people. And almost right away he was hit with a delicious smell.
'Is…it true?… ' He couldn't finish that line of thought, he needed to get away before he pounced someone in the middle of the street and devoured him. He entered an alleyway and rested against the wall.
However, someone appearing at the end of the alleyway. Someone that smelled human flesh. He had sunglasses, a hoodie and long jeans. Lelouch had lost all self control and walked up to the man. His geass glowing in his eye.
"Die".
"Of course" was the man's only reply. He pulled out a pocket knife out of his hoodie and stabbed himself in the heart with it. A mugger most probably. Crime still is a problem in this world isn't it.
The man collapse onto the ground, and he pulled the mugger around the corner, leaving traces of blood on the ground. He had surrendered to his hunger and bit off a large chunk of the man's fingers, eating them and spitting out the bones.
'I truly am a ghoul…on the bright side of things…my plans will be easier to complete this way, or i hope so' he kept eating the man, whiteout a care in the world of what was happening around him. Suddenly though the demon emperor felt something smashing his chest in, cutting off his breath.
'Damnit! I can't be caught yet!' He exclaimed mentally. His head was spinning but he managed to see a woman in white clothes, somewhat familiar, looking down at him
"So you finally have become a demon in flesh, Lelouch. But i should not be surprised" A voice said in the dark alleyway.
"Reveal yourself!" The new ghoul commanded, and surely enough, a woman with lime/green hair came out, in white clothes.
"It has been a while, has it not, Demon Emperor?" That smirk, the smirk that witch would always give him plastered on her face, but he couldn't care about that right now. She was there before him.
" the witch has come to help the warlock as requested" was all she. Added in, staring into his eyes. Purple and amber clashing violently. All the things that had happened before, and the contract they had. She was a good friend of Lelouch, and would always be.
"C.C."
On this day, a demon remembered a promise he made.

Author's notes: well don't have much to say, except that i am sorry that this chapter came out late, sorry for that. The next chapter will include Anteiku. I simply left them out here because i did not see a scenario where Touka would find Lelouch in the streets looking for food. Unless i coincidence is a boss.
C.C. Is now part of this world, the consequences? Well, you will just have to wait and find out. For now she is Lelouch's confidante, and is also that in the anime. For now, there are no pairings until one of you convince me or i find something interesting to do. But it still is a top candidate.
I also thank the reviewers, you guys really made me want to finish this chapter as quickly possible, and i did. Although i might be a bit late. But i will get the next chapter put be next month, maybe even July, but i'll make it as long as possible.
Until next time, have fun.
