I do not own Tokyo ghoul or Code Geass, I think this may be one of the last times I will repeat this because this has already taken up so much of my writing and lets just get on with it!

C.C. look down on Lelouch, he was ready for a snarky comment on whatever he was doing, but she caught him off guard yet again.

"Your just going to stay there unmoving?" She asked, that smirk still there. He didn't know how to answer, she seemed absolutely unfazed by the dead body and the missing fingers, or by his lips covered in blood.

"So? Or are you so dumbfounded that somebody talked back to you? Don't tell me that the lelouch in this timeline is overly arrogant" C.C. kept on going, now this time he was sure she was looking down on him. In a flash, Lelouch got back up, carefully checking he didn't get any blood over his clothes, and licked away the blood on his lips.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, now standing taller than her, he felt wanting to exaggerate that, however he knew that she would use it against him.

C.C. seemingly unaware of his thoughts, answered his question:"I was walking down the streets when I see a familiar man eating someone, I decided to make my presence known".

"There are over 30 million inhabitants in this city, I don't believe in such a coincidence".

"Believe what you will, I'm not here to convince you otherwise" her snarky response. 'She most certainly used her connection with mr through Geass to find me. However, how did she get here...´

Appearing unfazed by her previous comments, Lelouch answered:" I have a question though. How did you get here?".

She looked at him curiously, as if that question could be answered with thoughts alone. She then opened her mouth to speak.

"Well, after your meeting with Empress Nunally and her knight, I had asked the collective unconscious if I could come here."

"And they agreed? They don't seem the bunch to agree in exchange for nothing".

"You may have ordered god to continue the march of time, yet I am the code that allowed to carry on with Ragnarok."

"That makes no sense, why would they reward you for trying to kill them?"

"If you would let me finish boy, I would explain. If connection wasn't active, They do not believe you would have been able to finally defeat Charles and Marianne, that is what they said, and they also wanted to thank me for keeping you alive for so long."

"I see" was his short reply. It could be seen that way. Whatever it was, he was thankful for having her around. It would make his plans easier.

"Are you done asking questions? If you do not mind, I would like to leave this damp alley". Ordering him around, if he didn't know any better, he'd say she's a spoiled brat. However, now was not the time to fall for her teasing.

"Indeed, however, lets take a different exit, I would not like the police find the body and see me exit the very alley he was found dead" he answered.

"Well, they already saw you enter the alley, what do you have to say to that?".

"Look, lets just do as I say, I would feel safer that way" he answered, his mind was still processing many facts.

"Oh? Grown paranoiac?" She slightly smirked , yet, she didn't continue as they set for the direction C.C. came from.

The alleys were mostly empty, there was the occasional person here and there, but no one special. It started taking a while, Lelouch, was starting to think he was lost, he didn't recognize where he was, but he kept walking further and further into this labyrinth.

Suddenly though, he could smell something...delicious, almost the same smell as the one before, and he stopped, before turning to look to C.C. which had a slightly raised eyebrow.

"Have you finally decided to tell me we are lost?" He suppressed the urge to show annoyance yet again.

"No, i think I've found our exit, I can smell it". Lelouch said, looking forward.

"Are you sure eating humans has not dulled your sense of smell?" She casually replied as they kept walking forward.

"What surprises me most is that your taking my new cannibalistic tendencies a little too casually for my tastes, even from you." They reached an intersection and he turned left, C.C. followed behind.

" I have lived for centuries, one of my contractors resorting to cannibalism is a first, but not the worst thing I've seen".

"You make it sound as though everyone you ever made a contract with were determined to murder so you could have a higher chance of getting muttered when they finally achieve the final form of their Geass". He looked over his shoulder, yet her expression remained passive, unwilling to share any emotion on her face.

" Mao was no murderer when I contracted him, he was a child, not a serial killer." They took another turn, and for Lelouch, the smell was getting stronger and stronger.

"It still surprises me."

"I've seen bigger surprises come out of you than cannibalism, so I see no reason to act shocked". After that last comment, they remained silent for a while. Simply walking down the maze of alleys. The only sound their footsteps.

Lelouch stopped at a corner, and slightly looked over. It was a man with long black hair who seemed in his thirties, maybe older, and both of his eyes black, feasting on a corpse. C.C. peeked over as well, but both of them stayed hidden.

"Your sense of smell lead us to a human corpse, I'm really starting to believe your into that now". She commented.

"I think I'm not blind...well, I'll just ask this man for some directions." Lelouch whispered. C.C. Though kept talking with her voice, not too loud, but bound to be caught if the man paused from his meal.

"He is bound to recognize you from some secret cannibal cult."

"Worst case scenario, i will Geass him, and you stay hidden here."

" there are so many ways this can go wrong. If i see things go out of hand I will interfere." Whiteout answering her question, he walked around the corner and looked straight at the man, a bit of fear at the back of his mind. This was a ghoul, a creature that he believed he had become. If every ghoul was like Rize, then he would most likely have some sort of weapon, all he had was his Geass, the power of the king...it was his only advantage, no one knew of it, and it would be best that way.

Unknowingly, his Kakugan flared in his left eye, and Lelouch couldn't feel the sensation of his Geass.

'What? It isn't working? But I used it just an hour ago...this makes no sense' his mind started to panic as the man turned to look at him.

"Why are you here?". The ghoul looked at Lelouch's eyes, only finding one of them with the distinctive mark of a ghoul. "A one eyed? I didn't know that existed...".

The one eyed ghoul stood there unmoving, finally understanding. 'One eyed? One of my eyes ressembles his? Could this explain why I can't use my Geass?'.

"Well kid, this one's mine...your throwing me off with that look, do you want me to kill you?" The ghoul's anger was starting to show up.

Lelouch though did not know what to do, he was trying to find a plan. He looked behind him to see that C.C. Was about to jump into action.

"Are you listening to me?! I'll kill y-." His sentence was cut short by his head flying off onto the pavement. A man with hazelnut hair, most probably a young adult, kicked the ghoul's head right off. "Boom".

Lelouch looked up surprised at this unexpected arrival, who was talking on about his eating grounds.

'Eating grounds, ghouls act like animals on these things huh, it seems ghouls are mostly lone wolves then...it doesn't mean that there isn't a possibility of coordinated action, like a group of them.'

"And I have to deal with the other newcomer now...". The man looked at the raven haired boy, his twin kakugan in his eyes. He seemed a little surprised at only seeing one kakugan in his next target's eyes.

"Your a special one huh? You only have one of your eyes red, its kinda creepy...Doesn't matter, your tresspassing into my eating grounds." The man looked like he was about to jump at Lelouch and eliminate him, but he didn't.

"Another one...this one isn't human nor ghoul...who's there behind you?" the ghoul looked over Lelouch's shoulder.

C.C. came out with her usual bland expression. She looked at Lelouch and the man, it seemed she wanted to say something, but refrained from it.

"Your also a weird one...I thought this one was creepy, but you smell neither like a ghoul nor a human...I can almost associate your scent with death." The man commented looking at C.C. .The witch though seemed unfazed by that.

"Well...I guess I'll just have to kill you both...this is my eating grounds".

"Your eating grounds you say? It's not yours...it's Rize's turf Nishiki." A voice the Lelouch from before his takeover found familiar said, from above them. A woman with blue/purple hair, she as well looked young, if he remembered correctly, her name was Touka, which was a waitress in a shop named Anteiku in which he enjoyed having a cup of coffee.

'Rize owned these hunting grounds before? The way they speak means they must've met her, that man must be taking advantage from the fact she's dead to take over...the laws of nature at work.'

"Touka...did you know that woman died?" The hazelnut haired man took away his attention from Lelouch and C.C. To stare down his new arrival.

"So it's your now? Don't be stupid, management of the 20th ward is our job on the stability team." The woman jumped down, meeting Nishiki's stare head on.

"What? The stability team have no right to complain! This was my feeding ground until she came along, now that she's dead, it's mine again!" He roared.

"This feeding ground must be divided for the weaker ghouls, and besides, this back alley was stolen from you because Rize was the strongest one." Touka taunted him.

"Being treated by a fool by an upstart, impertinent brat like you...really pisses me off!" Touka charged Nishiki and responded:" for me, meeting idiots who think they deserve my respect, really pisses me off."

Both of them then engaged in a short battle where it seemed Touka had the upper hand as she hit her opponent multiple times. He though put on a mask of indifference to his wounds. "nothing but shallow hits...". He spoke too soon as these 'shallow' wounds started bleeding.

"Should I cut deeper next?" Her eyes were cold as she stared at the defeated ghoul.

"You damn woman!" He shouted as he ran out of the alley, bypassing Lelouch and C.C.

Touka then turned to look at the two others in the alley. "Mr Lamperouge? " she asked, uncertain.

"Ah yes, that's me" Lelouch answered somewhat confidently.

" I don't recall you being a ghoul last time you visited..." she looked suspiciously at him.

"He is just good at hiding his true nature, that is all." C.C. Spoke up from behind him.

"And who are you?" The ghoul asked the witch.

"This is C.C., don't mind her, she goes by her initials, she is a friend of mine." Lelouch interfered. Touka nodded, and turned around.

"If you ever need food, come by over, we will assist you." Was all she said before she jumped off and disappeared as well.

"Are you still a hit with the ladies? Because seeing this last interacting makes me think you aren't anymore." Leave it to C.C. To indirectly jab his looks.

"I do not feel obligated to answer that question." Lelouch sighed and looked around. He started walking in the same direction Nishiki took.

"Where are we going?"the witch asked, following behind him.

"I smell a heavy concentration of humans in this direction." Was his only answer.

"If we had gone with that, we could have avoided this whole mess, for a man who conquered the world, you truly are stupid." Another jab, this time his intelligence.

"I want pizza".

"We will get it on the way."

On this day, a demon's finances suffered greatly.

Author's notes: I am so so so so sorry for my lateness! I have no excuses, I hope you can forgive me. The next chapter is in the works, I'll try to get it out as soon as possible!

Yes, I tried to end it on a more humorous tone, this series lacks it. The demon can't always be serious after all! I try to get everyone to fit in, but it's going to get hard to fit everyone in character with the changes that are going on. Next chapter is in the works though, I'll try to update as fast as I can.

Leave a review, they are greatly appreciated!

Until next time, have fun !
