Two hours ago…

"What's a Davy Back Fight?" Aiko asked, she had heard about such a thing from rumors, but she never got the full details of what it actually was.

Marco, who was always full of random facts and knowledge explained with a somewhat interested tone. "I heard it originated from Pirate Island, yoi. Started by pirates that wanted to strengthen their crews, but weren't powerful enough to get certain crew members to submit to them. The Captains agree to play a set number of games where the winner gets to choose the Jolly Roger or a member of your crew. That mate chosen then has to swear loyalty to the Captain that won and if your Jolly Roger is what's taken then you can never raise it up again, yoi."

"Wait…" Aiko looked down towards Foxy, before pointing to the ocean where the remains of their ship was floating about. "I'm guessing Luffy took your symbol then gave you that new one to raise up?"

"Yea." He answered gloomily.

"AHAHAHAHAHA!" Aiko immediately doubled over in laugher. So, the one that had drawn that extremely crappy looking Jolly Roger was Luffy? She had to admit, these guys had guts for displaying that thing proudly. The kid still drew like he did when he was seven. She was glad that they had a good drawer, because if Luffy was the one that drew their Jolly Rogers the Strawhat crew would be treated like a joke.

"DON'T LAUGH!" He yelled, tears streaming down his face as he thought about his Jolly Roger, his two main subordinates patting his back to console him.

"So…" Aiko turned back to the Phoenix commander who was smirking in amusement. "What kind of Captain would agree to taking and giving crew members?"

"The worst kind, yoi." Marco answered, hostility back in his voice as he stared down at the crowd of Foxy Pirates below them. His mind wondering if that was how they were able to amass such a large crew? It was a disgusting thought, winning mates.

"Unfortunately," Aiko called down to the overly emotional Captain. "Our Captains aren't here to agree at the moment, so we have to decline your challenge."

Foxy looked around as if now just realizing that there were only two of them on that small ship. He looked at the sail and realized that it was plain white which meant only one thing, no affiliation. Were these two really even pirates? They didn't look like ordinary civilians, though they didn't really look overly strong either. His eyes drifted back to his wrecked ship for a moment, his mind wondering if he could just jump them and steal their small ship. That tiny ship was better than no ship and it looked really sturdy, not a scratch on it which was strange for a ship in the Grand Line, a sea where one was constantly attacked by sea kings and horrid storms.

"A-A-A-A-AAAHHHH!" The group of pirates turned their heads around to look at one of their mates who was wide eyed and gaping as he pointed with a shaking hand at the two lone pirates. His entire body was shaking so badly that he dropped the newspaper he had been reading through.

"What?" Foxy asked with a sneer.

"T-T-Th-That's…" He continued pointing at the two pirates, his hand began shaking more and more uncontrollably. One of his mates grabbed and shook him by the shoulder to snap him out of whatever star struck trance he had gotten into. The other mates looked down at the paper he had dropped, before they too seemed to freeze in shock.

"WHAT?!" The two with Foxy yelled out in exasperation.

"PHOENIX MARCO AND KILLER PUNCH AIKO!" They all yelled and the three leading the crew snapped their attention to the two New World Pirates. Aiko was smiling happily as Marco looked as bored as ever, though he was just able to school the cocky smirk that threatened to break out.

"Yes?" Aiko responded at the sound of her name, the amusement clear. They all seemed to stay frozen in place, their stunned silence bored her and so she turned to her blond companion and asked, "You think our mates see us in the news, Phoenix?"

"Probably, yoi. They're probably making fun of me behind my back too." He muttered, looking out to the sea when he sensed another incoming ship. He saw three large Marine warships quickly heading their direction in all their pristine justice filled glory.

"I think mine are cursing you to Hell and back." She said with a grin, remembering how Shanks' and Rho were practically yelling at her to not let Marco within a ten feet radius or if that wasn't possible to at least stay two arm's length apart at all times. She then looked in the direction that caught his attention, letting her Kenbunshoku Haki flow outwards towards the large ship. Seems the Marines had finally caught up, hours before the Log Pose set too. She said with a small grin, "It's weird how I hated the squabbles the Marines and Pirates would get into on this island, but here I am, the one bringing the fight here."

He shrugged in that nonchalant way of his, before gesturing to the frozen solid crew before them. "What should we do with these guys, yoi?"

"Let the Marines clean them u—"

Purupurupurupurupuru…

Purupurupur-.

Kacha.

The raven haired woman took out the baby Den Den Mushi designed after Shanks from her pocket and quickly answered. "Aiko here."

"AIIIKOOO!" He yelled out, "What took you so long to answer?!"

"It was two rings, Capta—"

She was once again cut off as she heard a loud 'thud' before Benn Beckman's voice came out. "Sorry about that Aiko, Captain's drunk."

She rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, is that Whitebeard Pirate there with you?" He asked, getting straight to business.

"Of course he is!" Yasopp's voice could be heard, "They're gonna be tyin' the knot soon and then we'll have this whole family of crazy in laws."

Marco's eye twitched at the comment. The only one who'd be getting crazy in laws if they were ever to marry would be him. Who would want party lovers as in laws? The Red Hair Pirates were known for their parties, their Captain so persuasive that he could even get the serious Dracule Mihawk to have a banquet with him.

"WHAT?!" Shanks' yelled out, suddenly sobering up a bit at the sharpshooter's remark. "NO! THAT'S NOT FUNNY! DON'T JOKE ABOUT THAT!"

"She's ours!" Rho's voice protested as well, the doctor's only reason for joining was Aiko. Being the gentleman he was, he couldn't leave her in a crew filled with crazy men, or so he told himself. "Whitebeard Pirates can't have her!"

"YEA!" She could hear most of the Red Hair crew yell out in agreement, their drunken shouts filled with determination. She bet they would've insulted Yasopp and told him to shut up had he not been one of the main members of the crew.

"He's here." Aiko quickly intervened, answering Benn's question, before an entire stupid conversation was started. When she heard the sound of a door closing and screams of protest, before the other side of the line suddenly got quiet, she knew Benn had gone to a more private place to talk.

"Ah. Good." Aiko could hear him as he let out a puff of smoke. "He should be getting a call from Whitebeard soon. We contacted you to let you know that we'll be sending out Rockstar and a few others to go and retrieve the fruit. Go ahead and carry on like always, they'll catch up to you when you guys make out a plan on which island you want them to meet you."

"Where are they now?"

"They should be in Paradise in a few days. Stay in contact." He ordered.

Aiko nodded, not like they he could see it. She wondered if the Whitebeard crew would be sending out their own guys, if so, then they'd have much planning to do. Arranging a meeting on an island where Ace was currently travelling would be a bit difficult, especially if there was a sudden change in plans. She could see from the corner of her eye, Marco listening to every word coming from her first mate's mouth. "And? Which fruit is ours?"

"About that, actually they though it would be more fun if you tw—"

BOOM!

"Bennie!" Shanks called out, suddenly sounding a lot more sober and a lot more serious. "G-5 Marines. Let's get rid of them."

"Yea, sorry Aiko. Ask the Whitebeard Pirates for the details." Benn said slowly, clearly not in a rush even though they were being attacked. "We'll call again later."

"Take care." Came Shanks' serious voice, said in such a sincere way that Marco found himself feeling slightly off. It felt like a burning sensation that filled and stung his chest, travelling to his head to irritate him then going through the rest of his body just to piss him off. Was this… jealousy? Him? Jealous of Akagami? Impossible. He cleared his head, shrugging the feeling off as he watched Aiko smile fondly.

That seriousness in Shanks was over in half a second though as the man went right back to his usual teasing, joking ways. Aiko could just imagine the stupid grin adorning his face. "If you don't, as your boss I'll have to order you."

"I don't recall having a boss." Aiko said back with her own large grin.

"S-so… SO COLD! Bennie did you hear that?! This is because I sent her out on her own! I KNEW it wasn't a good idea! I was against it from the start!" Shanks yelled out, the Den Den Mushi captured his gaping expression perfectly. "YOU CAN COME BACK AIK—"

Kacha.

"Sorry about that, Phoenix…" She said looking at him, she noticed that the frozen Foxy Pirates before her seemed to refreeze when they heard the sound of the famous Yonko Red-Haired Shanks' voice. When she looked out to the sea, the Marine war ships were much closer than they had been. They'd be hear in ten minutes tops. She hoped some of these Foxy Pirates would disperse, they were just drawing unnecessary attention to their small boat. Attention they wouldn't need, especially with the Marines only a few minutes away. "I wonder when you'll get your cal—"

Purupurupurupurupuru…

Purupurupurupurupuru…

Speak of the devil, Marco fished out his own baby transponder snail from his pocket. His in the shape of Whitebeard, Aiko practically squealed in delight at the mini white moustache it had. It even had a black bandana over its little head.

Purupurupurupur-.

Kacha.

"Pops, yoi."

"Marco." Whitebeard greeted in his gruff voice, he could hear the chatter in the background indicating that the rest of the commanders had gathered. He knew though that none would dare tease him right now, since Pops' was talking and no one was stupid enough to interrupt the large man. His Pops though was silent for a minute, so Marco took the time to update him on the current state of things.

"We're on Saké Island, yoi. I got you guys a few dozen crates."

"GUARARARARARA! I look forward to it, son." Whitebeard said, the small snail copying his large grin. "We'll be sending someone to retrieve the Fruit."

"Roger. I'll be able to give you our plan once we get to the next island, yoi. We'll be following Ace's exact trail." Marco explained, "Though he most likely already knows we're after him, yoi."

"Yea. You two have been all over the news lately, if my memory serves me correctly, the latest was destroying a castle. I see your wreaking havoc in my name." Whitebeard said with amusement, Marco only shrugged his shoulders, wondering if the small snail copied that action as well. He hoped it did. "Is the woman with you?"

Marco's eyes moved to Aiko for a second, she met his gaze before looking down at the small snail in his open hand. "She's here, yoi."

"HIII! AIKO-CHAN!" Came Izou's voice, Marco's eye twitched at the sound of his fellow commander.

"Is that sixteenth division commander, Izou?" Aiko asked the Phoenix and he just simply nodded.

"So glad you remember my voice! How is that Marco treating you?" Izou practically sang out, voice all milk and honey.

"You know~~!" Aiko gave her best pouting voice as she complained to Izou. She was way too comfortable with this, getting into the crew's strange pace, that is. "All this oversized flaming turkey does is tease me and he's been accusing me of flirting with other men!"

"What?!" Came the okama's pleased reply at the Red Hair Pirates easy going attitude. The snail imitating his face filled with mock surprise. Others in the crew openly snickered at what she had called their almighty first division commander, the only one not from their crew that could get away with something like that. Hell, even members of their crew couldn't get away with calling Marco a flaming turkey without some kind of injury.

"I swear!" Aiko said loudly.

"Oi, oi!" Marco bit out exasperatedly, "I've only ever treated you with the utmost respect. Dinner and everything, yoi."

"Ohhh… What about that night on Elbaf?" Aiko challenged.

The first division commander scoffed, before replying almost instantly, "Don't act like you didn't enjoy that play, yoi."

"WHAT?!" Marco cringed back slightly at the sound, the blond swore all one thousand plus members of the Whitebeard Pirate crew screamed that in unison. "WHAT HAPPENED ON ELBAF?!"

"Wouldn't you guys like to know?" Marco said into the receiver with his usual blank voice and a quick roll of his lazy eyes, not giving away a thing. No way in hell was he going to give details about that. If he had his way, they wouldn't even be speaking to the woman right now, or ever for that matter. Besides, the private details of what went on between the sheets weren't for their ears.

"WE WOULD!"

"Oi! Marco! SPILL!" Izou's voice came out once again.

"Just how long has this little relationship been going on behind our backs?" Fourteenth Commander Jil asked with his trademark grin, the snail changing expressions each second to try and relay what they were all trying to say. The poor thing was practically sweating.

"It's not really a relationship." Aiko was the one that answered, making Marco turn to her for a split second before focusing back on his embarrassing mates. "More lik—"

She was interrupted by Vista's smug voice, "Then how long has this thing been going on?"

There was a slight pause, all silent for a moment as they waited for an answer to Vista's question. Marco knew that if he didn't answer then they'd just keep pestering him, but if he did answer then they'd leave him be for a while, that is until they were able to create an entire new set of new questions. The Phoenix sighed and said a bit reluctantly. "A little over twelve years now, yoi."

"WHAAAAAAATTTT?!"

"Oi, oi! It's not like I went out of my way to go see her, yoi." Marco defended himself, but his mates were having none of that. They began asking questions left and right. Questions neither he nor Aiko had any intention of answering.

"GUARARARARARA!" Whitebeard's laugh boomed, drowning out the rest of the rowdy crew. "Has one of my sons finally decided to give me grandkids?"

The crew erupted in laughter and endless teasing as Marco sighed loudly. Aiko stared down at the transponder snail in surprise, did she just hear that? No. That was impossible. She definitely must've misheard because Whitebeard, Edward Newgate, feared Emperor and revered as the strongest man in the world, the man closest to One Piece had just said that he wanted grandkids. Not just any grandkids either, but from two people whose crews were natural enemies. If they were to be together, what then? No matter how overly friendly the red headed Emperor was, there was no way that Shanks and Whitebeard would form an alliance, the New World would fall to an imbalance and because each pirate in their crew was setting out to make their own Captain the Pirate King it would be impossible for them to get along once Raftel was in their sights.

A decisive battle for who would be King would soon come. A battle that would shake the world off balance and in no way would Aiko hesitate to off Marco should he stand in the way of Shanks becoming King. So, she continued to stare in surprise at the small Den Den Mushi. Only the sounds of teasing from the Whitebeard crew could be heard, she shook her head trying to get the thoughts out. Whitebeard was joking. He had to be joking.

Because her?

With… Marco?

WHAT?

Marco looked at her from the corner of his eye, before saying, "I think you broke her, Pops."

"Huh?" It was Blamenco's voice this time, he tried to copy Marco's lethargic face and voice as he repeated what the Phoenix had once said. "Didn't you once say 'Roger,' to that order?"

Marco rolled his eyes, did they really have to bring that up now of all times? He just said that, so they'd shut up. A bad move on his part, because when he looked over at Aiko to gauge her reaction she was looking at him with an eyebrow raised in silent question, obviously already over her initial shock at his Pops' words. He silently cursed Blamenco for giving her more teasing ammunition against him, this was yet another thing she'd never let him live down.

"Oi, Blamenco." Marco's voice was a warning. Intimidating all that heard it and making shivers run up the spines of everyone currently on the Moby Dick. "Your face is going to be shoved into the nearest wall next time I see you, yoi."

"Marco… brother." Blamenco's voice was slightly pleading, obviously regretting the things he just said. "We're sorry, right guys?"

"What's this 'we'?" The other pirates quickly said, "You brought it up on your own."

"TRAITORS!"

Aiko was laughing so hard at the conversation, she had never seen Whitebeard Commanders, other than Thatch and Marco interact before. At least, interact while not in a party. They reminded her so much of her own crew that it was refreshing. She only usually saw them serious, this was a good change of pace. In the end, pirates were just pirates. They'd joke around and act stupid when comfortable enough.

"GUARARARARARARA!" Whitebeard laughed again, before addressing Aiko. "And how is my son?"

"A pleasure as always." She answered with a smirk in Marco's direction, her suggestive tone making Whitebeard laugh again. The two pirates could hear some of the others choke on their own saliva at her reply.

"That's good to hear! Let him take care of you." Whitebeard answered with amusement, before he went on to more pressing concerns. "Marco, about that fruit…"

"Yea?" The Phoenix spoke up indicating that he was listening as he faced Aiko, covering the woman's face with his palm before shoving her playfully. She retaliated by stepping on his sandaled foot with a heel as hard as she could, making the Phoenix wince slightly as he glared at her.

"The Suppress Supress no Mi…" Whitebeard began, the two were still playing around, it was a good thing that his Pops wasn't around to see them. "Fight for it."

Aiko and Marco immediately stopped their antics, eyes darting to the small snail in the Phoenix Commander's tanned hand. Their eyes widening in different degrees of surprise. Both not really believing their ears at the sudden order.

"Fight for it." Whitebeard repeated when there was no response. "That red haired brat thought it would be more fun this way and your brothers seemed to agree. Let loose, my son."

Aiko cursed her childish Captain to hell and back. She'd drink the sake she bought for him in front of his face the next time they saw each other. Fighting the first division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates was beyond horrible. It called for too much effort than she was willing to put in. Fighting him was like being chased by a cat, playing with their food first before finishing them off.

"Roger." Marco answered the order, Aiko could see the sadistic gleam in his eyes and she instinctively began to tighten her gauntlets, preparing for a fight. Even though she didn't want to do this, she needed to; for the sake of winning that Devil Fruit. The Suppress Suppress no Mi would be a great asset and Shanks was entrusting her with this. She knew that the two Captains would have to agree on somethinga bit outlandish, so that the side that got the weaker fruit couldn't complain.

But… Still.

"As if I'd fight you…" Aiko muttered under her breath and the Phoenix let out a smirk.

"Are you scared, yoi?"

Her eye twitched. "What was that, birdie?"

"It's alright," Marco continued, ignoring the insult. "Red Hair Pirates are rathe—"

"No Phoenix healing." Aiko quickly cut him off, laying out a few ground rules as she began dropping unnecessary baggage such as her wallet and what not onto the deck. "Not until after the fight."

"No fighting on the ship, yoi." Marco said next with that creepy smirk as the two walked towards the docks, he ignored the calls of his mates. No, it was more like he could no longer hear them as he hung up without a care in the world.

The two stepped down onto the docks, the frozen Foxy Pirates still there in front of them. Aiko continued, "The border of the fight will be the island."

Marco nodded slightly, "No throwing me into the water, yoi. But you're fair game."

"PHOENIX MARCO! KILLER PUNCH AIKO! SURRENDER NOW OR FACE DEATH!" Some Marine Commodore yelled out, trying to get their attention as him and his men began apprehending some of the Foxy Pirates that finally seemed to wake up. Each of them scrambling off into different directions. The two pirates though didn't even hear the Marine and his constant warnings. Both too focused on the other to really give a damn about anyone else at the moment.

Aiko too busy grinning at his last rule, before she nodded and got into a stance. Marco getting into his own with a sadistic grin, his blue flames lighting up his body in the creepiest way possible. That glare of his was making Aiko's Bunsoshoku Haki come to life under her fingertips, her body fully sensing and reacting to the threat that was Marco the Phoenix. "Are you ready then, hot stuff?"

"Always."

Present…

Aiko punched a Marine out of her way, the man flying straight into a building as she then moved to elbow Marco in the abdomen. A blow he immediately caught, stopping it with a hand that had two broken fingers. With his unsteady grip he grabbed the crook of her arm and threw the woman with all his might, only for Aiko to grab a fistful of the long sleeve of his jacket, tearing the thing as soon as he threw her away from him. She landed a few meters away in a crouch, her body aching from all the abuse she had taken so far. When she stood up properly, she was holding a large piece of his torn jacket with a smug smirk on her face.

Marco's eyes flashed in pure irritation for a moment at the loss of his favorite jacket, before he hid them behind that neutral mask again. Shrugging the entire thing off and throwing it towards Tofu, where it landed on the deck, safe for him to mend later. She was definitely going to pay for that one. He kicked some Marine that thought it wise to attack him and took the guy's sword. It was stupid of them to think that just because he was focused more on Aiko, it meant that he didn't pay attention to those trying to interfere in their fight. Now that the jacket was completely off, he could clearly see all the blood and bruises that decorated his chest, he was having trouble breathing meaning that the woman probably punctured one of his lungs with those annoying punches. His head ached and he could taste the blood running down from the disgusting gash on the side of his head. He tightened his grip on the sword he had taken from the Marine, ignoring the pain of his broken fingers as he did so.

Aiko watched him carefully, trying to catch her breath as he took a sword from a Marine he kicked off into some random part of the island. All the townspeople had left the place in fear, probably running off to the nearby forest as the two pirates continued their fight. The town was in ruins, its cobblestone paths kicked up this way and that, its buildings mostly knocked over and the bodies of Marines and pirates alike littered the surroundings. But, the two of them could not care right now. Eyes focused only on the opponent in front of them.

Aiko tied the piece of his jacket that she had torn off over her shoulder in a tight make shift bandage. His talons had severely embedded themselves in it at the beginning of the fight and he must've really fucked it up because right now, she was having a hard time getting her arm to cooperate. Her nose was broken and she had bruises littered all over her body from his powerful kicks. His kicks alone were already crazy powerful and proved to be a huge problem and here he was picking up a fucking katana. Aiko wanted to yell at him.

He took a few steps forward before dashing towards her at a speed that reminded her of Admiral Borcelino's Devil Fruit. He brought the sword down on her like a pro, she immediately took a step back to dodge and grabbed the nearest weapon sticking out of some poor pirate's body. Once he made another lunge at her, she quickly used the thing to block realizing only then that she had picked up a saber. They began attacking each other, Marco was able to cut her thigh, tearing the pants she wore. She was about to get a clean slice at his ribs, before he jumped up arms in his hybrid form as he made a move to kick her head only for her to immediately drop to a crouch. However, Marco wasted no time, bringing his sword down to slice at her neck only for her to move slightly to the left and instead of connecting with her neck the steel blade took a clean slice of her already ruined shoulder.

Aiko yelped in pain and quickly threw her saber towards his head like an oversized dart, he dodged the thing easily and aimed a kick right at her side which she blocked with an unsteady hand fueled by her Haki, her fist on fire. He ignored the heat though, his talons once more digging themselves into her flesh. Her fist was shaking uncontrollably from the pain of his claws embedded in it. His razor sharp talons slowly broke through a piece of her steel gauntlets, Aiko's eyes widened considerably at the sight and before he could fully register their Bunsohsoku Haki clashing, her bare hand clamped down onto his leg shattering the bone as he dropped the sword he was holding in surprised pain, expressing his pain with a feral snarl.

He quickly retracted, assessing the damage of his now broken leg as he flew high in the air. Roger, he wanted to heal the damned thing. If they didn't have restrictions on his healing then he would've won this fight ages ago, but fighting with her was just… too fun. His eyes were pissed beyond belief by the fact that she broke one of his goddamn legs, but his grin was as sadistic and battle hungry as ever. He looked down at her, her entire left arm was no longer moveable, the useless limb hanging limp by her side. Her shoulder was in need of serious medical attention and her hand was a bloody open wound that continued to bleed all over her gauntlet and the floor. What was interesting though, was the fact that she didn't seem to concern herself with her mangled arm and instead just stared shocked at the broken piece of her gauntlet on the floor in front of her.

"Oi." Marco called, speaking for the first time since they had both gotten serious about this. He ignored the stinging pain of his leg as he spoke, keeping his voice even, so as to not show her any weakness. "What's with that? When I broke your gauntlet, you completely shattered my leg, yoi."

"It helps me control my Haki." She said with a frown and he was reminded of her saying that once when they had fought back on the Moby Dick. "I can't control it while fighting."

"Your arm's out of commission anyway, yoi." He gestured to it with his head. "If you're worried about the other one breaking, take it off."

Her eyes widened and she was about to open her mouth to protest, but he cut her off. "I can handle it, yoi. Just who do you think you're dealing with?"

She looked a bit reluctant, but after a small stare down with the Phoenix, she slid her fixed one off and threw it towards the ship where it landed with a small 'thud,' safely next to his jacket. Marco could see her scarred hand and once again wondered how that came to be, but he didn't let his mind dwell too much on it.

Once she looked back at him with determination in her gaze, he went back to their previous beat. Not wasting any time as he aimed a kick at her, a kick she dodged, before throwing a flame heated punch at the side of his body. Marco's face contorted in pain at the blow, he could hear his bones breaking, the feel of something rupturing made him cough out blood, but before he could fly off from the force of her punch he grabbed onto her wounded shoulder making her cry out in pain as the two pirates fell to the floor. Where they didn't fall quietly, they immediately began grappling at each other, placing Haki infused blows on any piece of body they could touch.

After their little tussle on the ground, Marco came out the dominating one. He had her pinned to the ground under him as the two took a minute to breathe heavily, chests rising and falling at an incredible pace. He had a dislocated jaw and found that –he didn't know how it happened- her head had taken one of his fists head on because she was now sporting a large bruise on the side of her forehead, the thing already turning a strange color.

Aiko was quick to grab the side of his neck, her Haki hurting him even more and before he could counter her sudden attack, she leaned up and kissed him fully on the lips. His eyes widened for a moment, one small moment as his brain registered that she was actually kissing him in their beat up states and that he was hardly acting like a man because he was doing absolutely nothing about it. He shut his eyes and began kissing her back in full force. Tongue invading her mouth, the taste of blood lingered there as he fought with her for dominance. She was always fighting, always fighting him back, even in this state. It's what he liked most about her. His hand moved to rest on her neck, the other fisting itself into dark locks as he deepened the kiss. Forcefully tasting every inch of her mouth with that skilled tongue of his.

For Rogers sake, he wanted her. Wanted to trap her, corner her and monopolize her until he was the only one left in her mind. Until the first person that she'd think of whenever something bad or exciting happened was him. Him, alone.

He could feel her large mounds pressed up against him, only urging him to draw her closer. She was soft against him and he was probably hurting her with how tight his hold was, but he could care less. He wanted more, more of her, more of whatever this was. His free hand moved to rub small circles on her side as his mouth went down to explore the expanse of her neck, leaving small red marks and a trail of saliva in his wake. Ignoring the pain of his broken fingers, his free hand pulled at her hair, bringing her head back, so that he could nip at that spot on her collarbone that he knew always made her weak. His broken leg ached in their current position, but he was able to ignore it as she forcefully brought his lips back to her own.

She let out a small moan, a sound he hadn't heard from her in far too long and before he could make her let that sound out again, he quickly pulled away, coughing out copious amounts of his own blood as incredible pain erupted from his front. He swore he had heard his bones breaking. It felt like his sternum had completely shattered and when he saw the reason why, his usually indifferent eyes widened as he cursed his own weakness.

She had punched him.

Fucking punched him.

What kind of fucking cheap shot was that?

He raised irritated eyes to meet her inert honey ones, his anger disappearing as she fell lifelessly back to the ground with a 'thud.'

"Mar…co…" Her voice whispered and he stared at the puddles of blood coming from both of them, mixing and pooling around them. They had really gone all out. Was this really the result of not having someone to stop them from letting loose? He looked around at the pure destruction they had caused on both the town and the people. Buildings barely stood and so many bodies littered the floor, it was a wonder that he hadn't noticed it before.

"Yea?" He replied, he needed to give her a transfusion. It was a good thing they had the same blood type. He also needed to get that left arm of hers fixed up, the cloth of his purple jacket that she made into a make shift bandage was stained red, he could see up close how much his talons had wrecked her skin. She closed her eyes, fully prepared to pass out.

"Did I win?" Aiko mumbled.

He grinned at that.
