A little note: As seen on Dokuga. Originally this was an interconnected drabble collection created with the prompts from dokuga_contest. However, since dokuga_contest is no longer running, I'll update as I see fit with prompts I select myself.

Totosai

Moo!

Totosai could have sworn he felt the energy in the air shift. He recognised the tingling sensation - he had felt it countless times before during the reign of the Great Dog General of the West.

"Myoga, I thought you said this Inuyasha only used the Wind Scar once?" Totosai asked.

"He did!" Myoga the flea exclaimed.

"And he was unable to do so again?"

"Correct!"

"Huh," Totosai hummed. Then why could he feel the energy usually associated with it in the air surrounding them? Maybe this half-demon was not as useless as he anticipated. He urged Mo-Mo to move faster.

"There he is!" Myoga exclaimed a few minutes later.

"Huh? Where?" Totosai asked as he looked around. "Since when do inu-youkai fly?"

Myoga had to fight the urge to slap his forehead. "Down there, you imbecile!"

Totosai looked down at the valley below them. There were a group of people gathered, two of which appeared to be inu-youkai. One he did not recognise, but the other one...

"Is that Sesshomaru?" Myoga asked nervously.

Totosai had signalled for Mo-Mo to stop. He turned his head to look down on the flea sitting on his shoulder.

"I'm not going down there."

"What? Why not?" Myoga asked, alarmed. "Lord Inuyasha is down there! You promised you would help."

"Sesshomaru wants me dead."

Silence. Myoga stared at his old friend, confused. "Why?"

"I may have told him to shove his ego up his arse when he requested a sword more powerful than the Tessaiga."

Another moment of silence.

"Oh. You're dead, then."

Totosai wailed. "I'm going home!"

Myoga huffed and hopped onto Totosai's head so he could pull the youkai's hair. "Oh no, you don't!"

"Ow ow ow!"

The two struggled for several minutes, Mo-Mo growing anxious at the movement happening on his back. The cow youkai considered lowering to the ground, but before he could do so, Totosai slipped from where he sat. Myoga paused his pulling when he realised things did not feel very stable all of a sudden.

"Totosai?"

"Yes?"

"Did you just fall off your cow mid-flight?"

"...Yes?"

The two youkai looked down and screamed when they realised the ground was getting dangerously closer. They landed smack bang in the middle of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's fight. Mo-Mo came flying down seconds later.

Totosai sat up and rubbed the bump on his head. "That hurt."

Then he seemed to notice the two inu-youkai glaring at him. "Oh, hello?"

Inuyasha blinked. "What the heck?"

Mo-Mo chose that moment to add his piece to the unfolding events: Moo!
