Hey guys happy late Easter! So far my schedule looks like I'm writing a chapter every two days, but when I get inspired I'll just write them back to back. Sorry for the long wait as you know, sometimes my personal life calls! So I'll try and get them out faster next time! I have two chapters written in advance, so hopefully they'll be put out relatively quickly after being looked over for mistakes and plot holes and whatnot. Also, just to give you guys some suspense, I was thinking of killing off a certain character, so let me know if that's something you'd be interested in reading! Thanks guys and hope ya like it!

"Rex, what the hell happened out there?!" Nia said just as everyone calmed down.
"I don't know! One second I was putting on my gear and the next thing I knew a kid was on the ground!" Rex retorted. He didn't know why Nia was even mad.
"Alright well, at least your safe. For now I'm just gonna go heal the kid who got hurt. When I get back I want you to tell me what that guy said and how he got away, alright?" Nia said as she put her hand on Rex's shoulder walking past him. She was angry he had let the man get away, but she couldn't be mad the guy. After all, he did stop the man relatively fast. She couldn't give him flak for it.
Rex needed a break. Everything was happening so fast especially after what had happened with Torna and the Aegises. Rex sighed as he walked up to his room once again. What could he do? He felt Pyra and Mythra stare him down as he walked up the stairs. In the forefront he was indifferent, but in the back of his mind he wanted either of them, or even both of them, to be with him for the day...even the night. He needed help, but didn't know how to ask for it. He opened the door to his room and lied down on the bed. He let his eyes shut as he dreamt of Pyra's warmth and Mythra's calming aura.

"Hm, how do we decide this?" Pyra asked as she and Mythra were butting heads currently with the main problem being the obvious. The pair were both in their pajamas with Mythra wearing a short white nightgown and Pyra wearing one of Rex's shirts and shorts. They knew Rex stared at them while they weren't looking and if it was anyone else Mythra would probably kill them on sight, but if it was Rex...well there was a little more leeway with him. Not too much, but still a little bit.
"There's nothing to decide!" Mythra said as she acted like she crossed her arms.
"So, I can go up to Rex now?" Pyra asked teasingly.
"I mean...no! Yes! Wait, I mean no! Aargh!" Mythra yelled in frustration.
Pyra laughed at her sister. Mythra still wouldn't be open about her feelings towards Rex. Pyra knew Rex loved all three of them vying for his attention, but she knew because of their connection, that he loved Mythra and Pyra much more than Nia. In her mind he liked Nia, but he loved those two and she knew that. She knew they wanted to cheer her up.
"Listen, Pyra, there's something I need to check out alright? I need to go down to where the third Aegis was. There's something I need to check out. Based on what Rex told us they could have finally been created. By Rex finishing off the shadow Addam's he let out the darker intent of Addam and therefore were created by them." Mythra said very warily.
Pyra knew what her sister meant. The Shadow Aegises were finally present. The Aegises spawned by Addam's darker intent inhabited core crystals which formed into the opposites of Pyra and Mythra. Addam had told Pyra and Mythra about them before and even Amalthus knew. However, they were never touched because they held the same power Mythra and Pyra held and that destructive power mixed with evil intent would destroy the world. If they were finally active it could be catastrophic. However, Pyra knew there was no way. The only way for them to open is if Rex or a Leftherian would only be able to activate them. Since nobody had been to the end and back there was no way for them to open.
"You're crazy Mythra. There is no way they're active. We sealed them with Addam ourselves and Rex only sealed them further, but it's a good idea to check. Take Azurda with you just in case though." Pyra told her sister.
"Alright, sounds good." Mythra said as she hugged her sister as a form of reassurance. I'll go find Azurda. Now you go save our boy!" Mythra turned Pyra around and gave her a push as she ran out the door.
"I wish she was more open with her emotions…" Pyra sighed as she smiled at her counterpart.
Pyra began up the stairs and walked down the hallway until she was in front of Rex's door. Right now there was nobody home. Tora and Poppi had left a while ago to go back to Torigoth and Morag and Zeke had to leave due to political purposes. Nia was out healing the wounded and Mythra had left. Corinne was probably off somewhere helping the children, so right now she and Rex were alone. She thought back to when she offered to help Rex. She blushed, but contained herself as she knocked on the door.
"Rex? I'm coming in alright?" Pyra opened the door to a scene that gave her deja vu. Rex was standing in front of the window looking out over the new ocean. Just like when Vandham had passed. Pyra only wished she could've done more for the boy back then and she wouldn't make the same mistake now.
"Pyra...it was my fault." Rex said as he turned to her.
"Rex, of course it wasn't your fault," the blade said as she walked towards her driver. "Nobody could have predicted that we'd be attacked again."
"But the note! If I had just listened to it and got out of Fonsett sooner we would've been fine! Nobody would've had to be hurt." Rex said obviously conflicted.
"What note?" Pyra said as Rex pulled it out of his back pocket. Pyra read it over. "Rex, why didn't you tell me?" Rex sat down as he listened to his partner.
"I just learned this morning. Morag gave it to me before she left. Apparently she is sending soldiers over here, but she still thought it was a hoax." Rex explained. "If I had just listened to it and left...none of this would have happened."
Rex looked down. Pyra placed a hand on the boys shoulder and the two sat like that for awhile.
'C'mon Rex pick yourself up! She's sitting right there so show her what you can do!' Rex told himself as he thought back to the kiss they shared before. He wanted that feeling again and it gave him a sense of confidence as he thought about it. Rex blushed, but hardened himself against going with his embarrassment. He wouldn't hide his feelings any longer.
"Listen Rex, I-" Pyra tried to say, but was cut off by a sudden movement from the boy in front of her. Rex kissed Pyra and grabbed her shoulders as he did so. At first Pyra was stiff to the boy, but she eventually relaxed into Rex's arms as she wrapped her arms around his neck as he moved to her hips. Rex's face was a dark red, but soon faded as he felt Pyra relax. He shifted and Pyra followed his lead. She laid back on the bed as Rex was on top of her. Her hand found his and entwined itself with his as she let out a small gasp as his other hand began to explore her hips instinctively. The pair stopped kissing for a moment and looked into each other's eyes.
"Rex…" Pyra said as she was breathing heavily.
"Pyra...have I ever told you you're gorgeous?" Rex said as he looked deep into the blades eyes.
"Never that blatantly." Pyra said as she giggled. Rex's face flushed, but in retaliation he kissed her again in surprise as he began to explore her body once again. Desire had taken over Rex. He had held these emotions in for so long and his nervousness always got the best of him. How could he not lose control when the girl he loves is wearing just her pajamas and they're alone? He didn't care anymore. He just wanted to love her. They were about to get even more intimate as Rex reached for Pyra's chest and she waited anxiously, but there was a sound to the left of them. Rex ignored it as he heard a small yawn. The pair stopped what they were doing and looked to their left. They looked to their left. Rex's eyes widened and his mouth dropped. Pyra took in what she was looking at for a minute.
"'Master...I'm hungry." The small girl in front of them stared blankly at Rex and Pyra.
"W-w-w-what?!" Pyra yelled as she shot up and Rex was pushed off of her. He went flying off the bed as Pyra was dumbfounded at the girl. Rex hit the ground hard.
"Ow...Wait Lapis!? What are you doing here?!" Rex said as Lapis stared at him. Rex felt a sharp pain in his back. His old wound still wasn't fully healed and the impact was enough to make it hurt just a little. Rex flinched outwardly and Lapis noticed.
"Master, would you like me to kill her?" Lapis said blatantly.
"Wha?! No! I mean why would you do that?" Rex said flustered.
"Rex..." a red aura was coming off Pyra. "Why is this girl calling you master?!" Pyra said raising her voice just a little. Rex couldn't see her eyes, but was obviously angry. Rex knew she was jealous, somehow he knew. It would've been cute if Pyra didn't have a murderous aura coming off of her.
"Uh...Py...ra?" Rex said quietly.
"EXPLAIN!" Pyra said finally yelling.
"ALRIGHT!" Rex said definitely scared.

"So you're telling me when you went missing you found a temple, met this girl, and now you're her master? Also, she told you she's the core of Elysium and knew who Claus was?" Pyra said as she was sitting on the bed. Rex was on the floor and Lapis was resting her head on his lap.
"Yes I swear!" Rex said confidently. Pyra was obviously considering it for a moment.
"Alright, I believe you." Pyra said after consideration. "But no more hiding things from me and Mythra, alright?"
"Yes ma'am…" Rex said as Pyra got up and kissed his head.
"We'll continue later some other time, alright?" Pyra said with a wink. She walked out of the door and closed it behind her. Her face was dark red. She had a very hard time hiding her embarrassment in front of Rex.
"Looks like your relationship is moving fast, huh?" Mythra called out as she walked up the stairs.
"WHA? Mythra! O-oh, I don't know what you mean?" Pyra tried to save herself, but failed.
"I need to talk to Rex, can he still move?" Mythra said with a wink. The girls heard a loud noise come out from Rex's room and heard Rex yell.
"Rex?!" Mythra charged in and the door flew open. Her mouth dropped and her eyes widened as the scene in front of her played out. Rex had his shirt off and Lapis was naked sitting on the floor again. Rex was holding a maid outfit and Lapis looked at him with a smile. Rex looked to his left and wanted to cry.
"AH MYTHRA!?" Rex looked at her, then at himself, then at Lapis. "WAIT, IT'S NOT WHAT I-" Rex tried to get out as Mythra charged him and slapped him across the room.
"You idiot, horndog, pervert!" Mythra yelled as she charged him.

"Are you serious!? Do you think I'll believe that?" Mythra said as Rex was again sitting on the ground with Lapis. Rex was getting more deja vu. He had just explained everything and she believed it, well, everything except the Rex trying to dress her part.
"I swear! I was just trying to get her to put clothes on and I only had Poppi's clothes!" Rex pleaded.
"Mythra…" Pyra said trying to get her to calm down. Mythra couldn't refuse her sister.
"Alright fine! But next time you want her to put clothes on give her to me or Pyra." Mythra said as she stormed out of the room jealousy filled. Pyra looked from behind her and waved with a sorry look. Mythra slammed the door.
"Master, why are they so mad?" Lapis asked.
"I want to die…" Rex said as he fell backwards on the floor. He looked to his left as a black blur.
'The note, huh?' Rex picked it up and read it again. 'Something I stole…' Lapis stood over him and looked at him. Something he stole...he stole...stole…Rex looked at the insignia on the paper. 'An insignia that looked like the Aegises core crystals and a tree.' Rex now recognized it. Where though? Where had he seen that? 'That's it!"
Rex ripped his glove off and looked at his hand. The exact same insignia. Same sign and same tree. Rex had a realization. He figured out what he had stolen. He knew what they wanted.
"Lapis…" Rex said. "You said you're the core of Elysium right?"
"Yes sir!" Lapis said.
Something important to Elysium. Something Rex stole and would have taken from him. It all made sense to him now. He had stolen the core of Elysium. That's what the Remnants of Addam wanted!
"Lapis, we're moving out!" Rex said as he ran out of the room. Lapis nodded and went back to being in Rex's body.
Rex ran downstairs and didn't see Mythra or Pyra. He walked outside trying to find them. He saw a explosion come from he forest in front of Fonsett. Rex put the situation now out of his mind as he immediately ran toward the scene. He ran past the gate and continued onto the edge of the forest. The town was still in shock so when everyone heard the explosion they all went inside their houses. Nobody wanted anything to do with violence here.
"Rex!" Isaac screamed out from in front of him. "Listen, I'm going to get everyone situated in town and make sure nobody gets hurt alright? I know it's a lot to ask after the attack earlier, but right now you're the only one I can count on!" Isaac pleaded. "I saw Pyra and Mythra head that way so they may already be there!"
"Right thanks Isaac! Good luck!" Isaac nodded as Rex ran into the forest. He heard the clashings of swords and saw flames and light flashing everywhere. He was going too slow.
"Lapis speed me up!" Rex said as he felt his body become lighter and faster.
He reached a break in the trees and pulled out his sword.
"Pyra! Mythra!" He said as he charged into the battle. He saw his blades looking at him with worried eyes as Mythra screamed out something. It looked like she had said no, but he was going way too fast to hear it. Suddenly, Rex felt something hit him hard in the chest and he got sent back a few feet.
"What the?" Rex looked up and saw two girls who looked identical to Pyra and Mythra, but more shadowy and with darker clothes and colors.
"Wha...who are you?" Rex asked looking up from the ground.
"We're your girlfriends, but stronger." The girl in front said as she picked Rex up and pulled him into a kiss.
