You guys, I have started on my main base stories so if you want to read them they will be put on Wattpad under my pen name AnnieAngel69. There is also going to be drama ahead in my family, since I can foresee it I just wanted you to be warned about it since it might make it difficult to put up chapters. Also, on the story I'm working on Wattpad I've been doing increments of five on them so you will get more than one chapter each time I update. But with all the family drama it might actually take a while to get another one out on this story.
Chapter Eight
Naruto looks around trying to see if she could catch sight of Haku. "That guy…Where did he go?" She notices that the area surrounding started to be visible through the fog. 'The mist has suddenly begun to clear…' Then she noticed some figures in the fog. 'Huh?! Over there!' She starts running towards the forms. 'What… What's going on here?' He came and saw that Kakashi had his hand going through Haku's chest.
"Is that the masked boy…?" Tazuna asked as he stood next to a shocked stricken Sakura. Haku grabbed the arm protruding from his chest.
'He jumped in to protect Zabuza…' Kakashi muses and watches as Zabuza starts chuckling.
"Great job…Haku." He says as the boy pulls the arm further into his chest.
'This boy…Is already…dead.' Zabuza brought his arm up to start a swing. 'He plans to cut through both of us!'
"Kakashi Sensei!" Sakura shouts out a warning.
"I sure picked up something useful! Giving me this final chance!" Zabuza shouts out as he rushes his blade towards them and Kakashi grabs a hold of Haku and jumps away from the attack. Yanking his arm from the teen he gently lays him on the ground. "Hehe…With Haku dead you can move."
'Unforgiveable…' Naruto starts shaking.
"Naruto…Stay there." Kakashi demands as he looks down at the dead teen in front of his kneeling frame. He shuts Haku's empty orbs then glares up at Zabuza. "This is my fight."
'Naruto….?' Sakura says as she looks the girl over. "You're alright!"
'Sakura-chan.' Naruto looks at her and her chest starts hurting.
"Huh? What about Sasuke-kun?" She asks. "Naruto! Where is Sasuke-kun!" At this question Naruto's face turns shocked then sad and she looks quickly away from Sakura's face. Realization hit the pink haired Kunoichi and she's speechless.
"Kakashi! This is no time for sightseeing!" Zabuza shouts out as he starts running at the man with his blade drawn back in preparation for a full on swing. Kakashi is still kneeling and he boosts most of his weight onto his hands and kicks the man in the stomach. Sakura starts shaking and Tazuna looks at her.
"I'll go with you. Then you won't be breaking your Sensei's order." He suggests to the young girl. Her hand clutches his.
"Ok." She starts pulling the old man and they ran past the mourning blond who is trying with all of her might not to start crying for her own lost loved one. They stopped right in front of where Sasuke's body lays, Sakura staring widely down at the form of her crush that lay dead on the floor. Tazuna quickly looks away from the body as he is now looking like a pin cushion. Naruto clutches her heart as she hears the high pitched wails coming from Sakura wishing she too could break down from losing her only loved one.
"Why…Why can't I keep up with him…?" Zabuza wonders as he pants from exertion. "Damn it!" He rushes at Kakashi again and gets deflected with a backhand across the face. Zabuza stops himself from falling and swings his large blade at the man. He hits nothing but air as Kakashi grabs the back of his neck.
"You can't beat me in your current state." Kakashi says as he looks at the man from the corner of his eye.
"What?!" Zabuza grits out.
"You haven't noticed…" Kakashi cuts himself off.
"Hehe…So what's going on…" Zabuza asks. Kakashi spins two Kunai on his fingers then catches them in his grasp.
"This is goodbye…DEVIL!" Kakashi says as Zabuza looks over his shoulder at him with shock filled eyes and he watched the Kunai moved to stab him. He quickly swung his sword around to slice him and Kakashi stabs both Kunai into his bicep making it where his arm was immobile.
"Ugh!" Zabuza grits out as Kakashi moves back from the man with the sword spinning madly out of control. Naruto looks on speechless as she is amazed at the fight that was going on right in front of her eyes.
"Now both arms are useless. You can't even perform a seal…" Kakashi says as Zabuza grunts out from all the pain.
"Ooh…You're getting your ass kicked." A male voice grits out as he stomps his cane down on the bridges surface. "How disappointing…" Kakashi and Zabuza looks at the short man that appears at the end of the bridge. Behind the man was a huge crowd of his gang. "Zabuza."
"Gatou, why are you here…? And what's with all these men?!" Zabuza growls out.
'So he's…' Kakashi stops his thoughts.
"Hehehe the plan has changed…Well actually, I planned to do this from the beginning. Zabuza, I'm going to have you killed here." The man snarkily replies as they looked at the small group.
"What?" Zabuza asks.
"I never planned on paying you any money. Hiring a normal Ninja from the village is expensive and they may betray me….So I get you missing-nins who are easy to take care of afterwards. I have the Ninjas battle each other and once they're weakened I kill them off with numbers…It doesn't cost me anything, good plan don't you think?" He chuckles as he grins at them. "The only problem in the plan was you…Zabuza. The Devil of the Hidden Mist? What a joke, if you ask me…Hehe, you're just a…" Zabuza's glare deepens. "Cute little baby devil."
"We can easily kill you now!" The men shout at him.
'Who are these guys? So many of them…' Naruto wonders.
"Kakashi I'm sorry…This fight is over." Zabuza says to the man as the group of thugs laughs loudly. "Now that I have no reason to go after Tazuna. I have no reason to fight you."
"Ah…" Kakashi hums out.
"Huh?" Naruto says as she continues to watch the two older men.
"You're right." He says as he is still kneeling down.
"Oh yeah…" Gatou says as he walks towards Haku's body. "I owe this one…" Both of the Ninja's look at the short statured framed man. "You squeezed my arm until it broke…" He says as he nudges the boy's cheek with his shoe. "Heh." He kicks Haku's hand. "He's dead."
"What are you doing?! You bastard!" Naruto shouts out and she starts running to attack the short man. Kakashi grabs the back of her jacket and yanks her to a stop.
"Hey! Look at their numbers, don't just jump in!" He says as he listens to Naruto's feminine grunts.
"Say something! Weren't you friends?!" She shouts out to him.
"Shut up kid. Haku is already dead." He says to the girl whose expression went from angry to outrage.
"Don't you feel anything at all?! Weren't you two always together?!" She screeches at the man.
"As I was used by Gatou, I used Haku. That was all it was. I've said it already…In the world of the Shinobi there are only those who use, and those who are used." He says as he turns his head towards Naruto. "We Shinobi are simply tools…What I wanted was his blood, not him…I have no regrets."
"Hey…Do you really mean that?" She quietly asked the man. She jerks herself out of Kakashi's hold.
"Stop Naruto! We are not fighting him anymore. Plus…" Kakashi says to the girl.
"Shut up! My enemy is still him!" She says as she points at Zabuza. Her breaths came out in pants.
"Who is this annoying kid?" Gatou asks. Naruto points at Haku.
"He…He really loved you!" She says as she remembers every bit of the conversation that her and Haku had. "He loved you that much! Do you really feel nothing?! Do you really…Really not feel anything?!" She says as tears start pouring down her cheeks. "If I become as strong as you…Will I really become like you?! He threw away his life for you!" She screams out. "Without his own dream…To die as a tool…That's…Just too sad…" She says as she starts sobbing.
"Kid…" Zabuza pauses as Naruto notices drops of water hitting the ground. "…You don't…Need to say anymore…" He says as he looks down into her tear-filled gaze. He looks back at Gatou and Haku. "Kid…It pained him to have to fight you…Haku fought not only for me…He fought for you guys too." He ripped the bandages around his mouth off with his teeth. "He was too kind. I'm glad I got to face you guys in the end. Yeah kid...You may be right…"
"Huh?" Naruto looked at him with confusion filled eyes.
"A Shinobi is still a human…We may not be able to become emotionless tools. I've lost…Kid, let me borrow your Kunai!" Naruto's eyes widened in shock.
'Huh? Oh…' She takes out a Kunai and tosses it to him. "Yeah." Zabuza caught it with his teeth and sped off towards Gatou.
"Waa…That's enough kill them!" Gatou shouts out to his men.
"Sure thing!" One shouts while another roars out a "Yeah!"
"One badly injured Ninja against these numbers? You think you can win?" One shouts out at him. His eyes widen as he watches Zabuza charge forward as he saw what looked like a demonic aura coming from the man. 'A…A devil!' Gatou stood back as he watched Zabuza single handedly on the whole group. His eyes widen as he saw the Ninja tear through the whole group with just a Kunai even though he was steadily turning into a weapon holder by all of the weapons getting jabbed into his back. Even though he steadily pushed through the crowd rushing forward toward Gatou. He reached the short male and jabbed the Kunai into the man's chest.
"Die already!" The men shout as the stab him with their swords.
"I…If you want to go to the same place as your friend…Then go." Gatou grits out as blood pours down his chin.
"Unfortunately…I don't plan on going to the same place as Haku…" Zabuza says around the Kunai he still held in his mouth.
"Wha…What? You won't survive…Gah…" Gatou grunts out.
"Heh You and I together…Are going to hell!" He growls out at the man. "Even the unremarkable Devil of the Hidden Mist…Can die and become a real Devil in hell…" He says as he yanks the Kunai out and Gatou grunts out in pain. As he wobbles on his feet he reels back from Zabuza who kneels down in preparation for his next attack. "This will be fun! We'll have plenty of time to see if I'm a baby Devil down in Hell!" He swings his body up decapitates Gatou. His men scream as the head bounces around the group. Naruto's face held a small bit of green tinge as she watches. Kakashi closes his eyes as Zabuza stands there. He starts thinking about all of the years he spent with Haku. With these final thoughts he lets himself fall to the ground. Naruto's eyes widen in shock and just when she was about to look away Kakashi stops her.
"Don't look away. The end of a man who lived a difficult life." He explains to the young girl.
"Yeah…" She says as she silently looked at the man.
"Naruto!" Sakura shouts out to get her attention.
'Sakura-chan!' Her eyes widen.
"He's alright! Sasuke-kun is alive!" As she says this Naruto's eyes zip quickly to the now standing Sasuke. He holds his hand up to show her that he is doing okay and tears start forming into her eyes. She starts thinking about the last thing Zabuza said to her and smiles while trying to hold off her tears.
"I've been worried but…Sasuke is also alright…That's great." Kakashi says as he stares at the trio standing a bit off from them.
"Hey! Hey! Hey!" The band of men says in front of them. One banks Gatou's cane on the floor. "You guys are too at ease!" Their eyes flew to the men. "Damn Ninjas…You killed our meal ticket…! You guys are dead! Now we're gonna pillage this city. And take anything of value!" One shouts. "Yeah! Yeah!" They all get their weapons ready. "Let's begin!"
"Damn…This is bad." Kakashi says to Naruto.
"Kakashi Sensei, don't you have a special Jutsu to defeat them all?" Naruto asks him as she starts panicking.
"I can't…After the lightening edge, Summoning and Sharingan, I used too much Chakra!" As he says this an arrow lands in front of the group of men drawing everyone's attention to the entrance of the bridge.
"If you come any further onto our island…The citizens of this country will…Stop you with everything we've got!" The villagers shout.
"Inari…You…" Tazuna as he stares at his grandson with tears forming in his eyes.
"Inari!" Naruto shouts as a huge grin appears on her face.
"Hehe a hero shows up at the last second right?" He says as he grins at her.
"Ok! I can help out!" She says as she creates a few signs. "Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!" She creates a small army of clones.
"Eh?" The bandits look at the clones with confusion.
'I can do that at least…It might fool them…' Kakashi does the same. "Kage Bunshin No Jutsu! Kakashi version." Everyone's eyes widen as they saw the bigger number of clones. "So…You want some of this!?"
"No we don't! Uwah! Let's get outta here!" The bandits start running off.
"We did it!" The villagers cheer. Kakashi and Naruto release their Jutsu and Kakashi walks over to Zabuza.
"It looks like it's over…Kakashi…" He says as he looks up at the silver haired Jounin.
"Yes…" He says quietly.
"Kakashi…I have a request." He says as the man pulls his Hitae-ite down over his Sharingan activated eye.
"What is it?" He asks.
"I want…To see his face…" Kakashi holds his hand still over his head band.
"Sure…" He picks the man up.
"Huh?" Naruto looks up and notices the snow falling down around her. "It's snowing."
"Snow at this time of year…?" The villagers mused. Kakashi places Zabuza down besides the teen's body.
"Thanks…Kakashi…" He starts looking towards Haku and runs his barely mobile arm and caresses Haku's cheek. "If I could…I'd like to…Go to the same place…As you…" Naruto starts bawling.
"He…Was born in a snowy village…" She says as she sniffles.
"I see…He was a boy as pure as the snow…" Kakashi says as he watches the snow fall.

Naruto stretches in her bed after waking up. She looks down at her breasts and sighs when she notices that they have become even bigger since her last mission. "Owell." She shrugs her shoulders and gets out of bed showing that she is only wearing a shirt with her underwear. She goes and makes herself a breakfast of ramen, toast and milk and gobbles it down. After she showers she dresses and locks the door to her small apartment. "Yaa! I'm going to kick ass on today's mission! Uwaaaa! Mach 5!" She shouts as she runs off. She finally found Sakura and Sasuke waiting for her.
"Oh!" Sakura says when she noticed Naruto.
"Good morning! Sakura-chan!" She shouts out then notices Sasuke. Since she is still angry at her boyfriend she ignores him. Sasuke's eyes flared some hurt then cover that up with annoyance. They both look away and make "hmpf" noises. They all continue to patiently wait for their sensei and the longer they wait the more their patience starts to dwindle. After waiting for three hours Kakashi finally shows.
"Hey guys! I got lost!" He says as he waves at them.
"Stop lying with a straight face! Give it a rest!" Sakura says yelling at him.
"You're a failure as a Ninja…" Naruto muses as he stands further back shaking his head at his Sensei in annoyance. "Hey hey! Kakashi Sensei! Lately all of our team 7 missions have been too easy! I want a more, you know, hot one! Where I can shine! That follows my Ninja path! And my heart like…!" Naruto starts crabbing at the man.
"Yea yea…Sigh…I pretty much know what you are going to say…" He says as he rubs the back of his head in exasperation.
'Damn it…This guy…Always making me look bad and stealing the spotlight…I won't lose!' Naruto glares at his boyfriend. 'Even if I love him to death he should trust me more about my strength and that I won't get hurt. Today I want to…Say something like that!"
"Hey Naruto, what are you doing? Let's go!" Kakashi says as he notices the girl is daydreaming.
"Oh yeah!" She says as she catches up with them.
"You are really annoying today!" Sakura shouts at her. They finally finish their mission and Sakura is helping an injured Naruto walk because she wouldn't let Sasuke touch her. "It's because you push yourself to much."
"Pft…Can't you take care of yourself?" Sasuke cockily goads her. Naruto starts glaring at him and shaking.
"God damnit!" She shouts out.
"If you don't calm down, I'll finish you!" Sakura yells at her as she starts wringing her neck. Sasuke walks off with a disappointed look since he knew she was still mad at him.
"Hmm…Teamwork seems to be suffering lately…" Kakashi muses.
"Yeah! Yeah! You're the one ruining our teamwork, Sasuke! Always hogging the spotlight, you bastard!" Naruto shouts at him.
"That's you. You moron. If you want me to stop making you look bad…Then just…Become stronger than me…" He says as he slowly looks at her over his shoulder. She glares at him with hurt filled eyes.
'They're somehow worse than before…' Sakura thinks as she looks between the fighting couple.
'Damn it, there are tons of guys stronger than me out there, yet I have to do these stupid missions.' Sasuke thinks as he bites his nail while looking at the girl he loves. 'How can I protect her and defeat my brother if I cannot become stronger?' Kakashi turns his attention from his students to look in the sky at the Jounin messenger hawk.
"Ok, that's it for today. I have to go submit this mission report…" He says as he looks at each of his students.
"Then I'm going home…" Sasuke says as he turns around.
"Oh! Hey Sasuke-kun, wait. How about right now…" Naruto looks at the girl with fury as she knows what she is going to try. "We work on our teamwork, just the two of us…"
"You're the same as Naruto." He says as he crushes her hopes. "If you have time to bother me, practice a Jutsu or two. Frankly, your ability is below Naruto." She becomes even more crushed when her flirting didn't work.
""Sakura-chan! Forget Sasuke, let's train together!" She says trying to make the girl feel better and since she is still mad at Sasuke she won't follow him to his house. Kakashi disappears while the team is distracted. "Huh?" 'Sensei's gone? So I got abandoned again?' She sighs out loud. "Ok! Since I'm still mad at Sasuke! Time to train!" She shouts out as a square card board box starts slinking towards her. "Huh?" She says as she turns to look at it. 'Is that supposed to be a rock…?' She wonders and starts walking away from it. "I act like I'm looking forward…But feint! What kind of rock is square with two holes! I see right through that!" She shouts at it. The box lifts up to reveal three kids underneath.
"That's the girl I view as my rival!" Konohamaru shouts out as the other two stand slightly off from the side.
"Oh it's you Konohamaru…Huh? What's with the goggles?" Naruto asks as she puts her arms behind her head while looking at the three.
"Hehe, we're copying the old you, sis!" He says as he adjusts the goggles.
"Ahh…" She says as she thinks it is cute.
"What do you mean "Ah..."?! Hey! You're cold lately sis!" He says as he points at her.
"So…What do you want?" She asks as she waits patiently for them to talk.
"Umm…Leader, are you free?" Moegi asks shyly as she looks up at the pigtailed blond.
"Nope! I'm training!" She says as she points her thumb at herself.
"What?! But you said you'd play Ninja with us today. Hey!" Konohamaru yells at her.
"Oh…Haha, oh yeah…" She says as she rubs the back of her head. 'If I play with them it will take all day…'
"Um why would a Ninja…"Play" Ninja…?" Sakura asks as she slinks up to them still reeling from what Sasuke said to her. She looks closely at Naruto who is still rubbing the back of her head. 'I'm below her…?'
"What is it?" Naruto asks Konohamaru as he tugs on her opened jacket.
"Hey sis, who's this girl?!" The young boy asks loudly.
'She's making me nervous looking at me like that…' Naruto says as her brows furrow with worry.
'She's staring at sis like she wants to kill her…' Konohamaru gets an idea. "Not bad sis…"
"Huh?" She wonders what he is talking about.
"She's your…This." He says as he sticks his finger out. Both Sakura and Naruto look at each other then at the boy. 'Best friend' is what he is referring to.
"Hehehe. Wow…You brats are very perceptive…" Naruto says as she rubs her head harder.
"Wrong!" Sakura says as she punches Naruto right in the face sending her off flying.
"Sis!" Konohamaru shouts out as he watches her roll from the hit. "How dare you!" They all run off to Naruto's side. "No! Leader! Don't die!" They all shout at Naruto. Konohamaru gets even angrier and turns around to glare at Sakura. "You ugly bitch!" Sakura cracks her fist as her inner self growls out in outrage. She hits Konohamaru aside the head and walks off.
"Konohamaru-kun, are you alright?" Udon asks and helps his friend to sit up.
"Damn it…That ugly huge forehead…Is that really a girl? Seriously, sis?" He asks Naruto whose eyes are now huge on her head at what the boy just says. Sakura turns slowly like a robot and looks at them. Then starts running towards them as they get up and runs away from her screaming until Konohamaru runs into someone. "Ouch!"
"That hurt…" A guy says as he looks down at the small boy. A blond girl stands next to him. The guy picks up the boy by the front of his shirt.
"Konohamaru!" Naruto shouts out at him.
"That hurt you little piece of shit!" He says as the boy grunts from the rough treatment.
"Don't, we'll get yelled at later." The blond girl says as she stares at her brother.
"I'm sorry, I was messing around…" Sakura tries explaining. 'Who are these people?' She wonders as Naruto starts get angrier and angrier.
"Hey fatass! Let go of him!" She screams at him. The guy looks at her headband and notices the furious blue eyes that look at him. He smiles flirtily at her.
'Hmm…Looks like a Leaf Genin…' His smile widens and he looks her up and down. "Let's play a little before the boss comes." He says as the boy whimpers in his grasp.
"Bastard!" Naruto growls out as she starts running at him. The guy attaches a Chakra string to her foot and makes her trip showing the spandex shorts under her skirt making the man disappointed. 'What was that?' Naruto looks up at him with confused eyes.
"Oh, Leaf Gennins…Are weak." He says as he looks at her shapely legs.
'These are foreign…Why are they here…?' Sakura muses.
"Konohamaru-chan!" Both Moegi and Udon shout out.
"Let go of me…" Konohamaru whimpers out as he grits his teeth.
"Hey! You fat pig! If you don't let him go I'll make you pay! Fatass! Idiot!" As she says this Sakura grabs her into a choke hold.
'You idiot! What are you thinking?!' She thinks as Naruto continues to choke.
"Hey, you're annoying…" The guy says to the group. "Basically…I hate midgets…" He smiles more as the boy continues to grunt from the pain. "Especially younger ones that are rude…Makes me want to kill them." The small group looks at him with panic filled eyes.
"Oh well…I'm not involved…" The blond says as she closes her eyes. And Sakura loosens her grip around Naruto's neck.
"You bastard!" Naruto shouts out.
'What's with that guy…?' She wonders.
"Well, after this one I'll take care of that other annoying midget!" The guy says as he balls up his fist. Naruto's expression turns to panic as she watches him pull his arm back and swing.
"Hey!" She shouts out as she tries to hurry to Konohamaru's aid. A rock flies and hits the guy's hand making him drop Konohamaru.
"Hey!" The guy says as he holds his hand. He looks up into the tree where the rock came from to see Sasuke sitting on a branch tossing a rock up and down.
"What are you bastards doing in our village?" He asks looking at them with an emotionless face.
"Sasuke-kun!" Sakura shouts.
"Uh…" Naruto groans at the clueless girl. The Ninja looked at Sasuke.
'He's pretty handsome…' The blond thinks as she blushes. Konohamaru runs towards Naruto.
"Ah…Another guy who pisses me off…" The guy says as he holds his injured hand.
"Get lost!" Sasuke says as he looks down at him.
"Kyaa! So cool! Get him Sasuke-kun!" Sakura cries out as her and Moegi look at him with heart filled eyes. Naruto is glaring at the girls as she doesn't want any more competition at all from them. Konohamaru finally reaches Naruto.
"Naruto sis…You suck…I believed in you…" He says as he points his finger at her with tears pouring down his face.
"No dummy! I could easily defeat that guy!" She tells him truthfully and the boy starts crossing his arm and hmpfs her in disbelief. 'Damn you Sasuke! Why are you always making me look bad?!' She thinks as she glares at her boyfriend.
"Hey punk, get down here!" Sasuke ignores the order and looks quickly at Naruto to make sure she didn't get hurt by them. "I hate show-offs like you the most." The guy says as he takes the bundle off of his back.
"Hey, you're even going to use Karasu?" The blond asks him as she starts panicking.
"Kankuro, stop it." A figure behind Sasuke says as he looks from his brother to the blond pig tailed girl in the group. His eyes widen in shock then quickly he put an emotionless mask. Sasuke is shocked when he hears the voice behind him. "You're an embarrassment to our village." Everyone looked up to see a red haired Ninja hanging upside down on a branch in the same tree that Sasuke is in. They don't notice that the guy's eyes are trained solely on Naruto.
"Ga…Gaara." Kankuro gulps out.
'Him…When did he…? That's Kakashi level sneakiness…' He follows the Ninja's gaze and his eye widen when he noticed his girlfriend drew the man's gaze.
"Losing control of yourself in a fight, how pathetic…Why do you think we came to the Leaf Village?" He asks as his gaze trained back on his older brother.
"Listen Gaara, they started it and…" He panics.
"Shut up…I'll kill you…" Kankuro starts to shake.
"Ok, I'm sorry…" He gasps out.
"I'm also sorry…Really sorry…" The blond says as she starts to sweat.
'So this one's the leader…He has strange eyes.' Sasuke thinks. 'Even though he should keep them off of what is mine.'
"Sorry to you guys." Gaara says to Sasuke then disappears. 'To be able to hit that Kankuro with a stone…He's good…' Gaara thinks as he disappears. He pops back up between Kankuro and the blond girl who look startled. "It looks like we got here too early but…We didn't come here to play around."
"I know that…" Kankuro says as he takes a step back.
"Let's go." Gaara says.
"Hey wait!" Sakura shouts at them and runs a short distance away from them.
"What?" Gaara asks her.
"Judging from your head protectors, you guys are…Ninja's from the Hidden Sand Village, right?" She asks. "You may be allies with the Leaf Village but…It is forbidden for Shinobi's to enter each other's villages without permission. State your purpose. Depending on it, we may not be able to let you go…"
"Hey talk about clueless…You don't know anything?" The blond girl says as she whips out her pass. "You're right, we are Gennins from the Hidden Sands. We have come to your village to take the Chuunin selection exam."
"Chuunin selection exam…?" Naruto muses and the girl explains it to her. "Hey Konohamaru! Think I should enter this Chuunin exam thing?!" She asks the young boy interrupting the girl from her explanation.
"You bastard! You asked the question, listen till the end!" She screams as Sasuke appears directly behind Naruto putting a comforting hand on her shoulder showing the others that he and Naruto is an item. He looks at Gaara showing the guy he doesn't like competition.
"Hey you, what's your name?" He asks.
"Huh? You mean me?" The blond asks with a blush on her cheeks.
"No. You with the gourd." As he says this she looks disappointed and the others look at him as Naruto stands up and the arm that wraps around her middle. Gaara shows a tiny glare at the arm.
"Gaara of the Desert…I'm also interested in you, your name?" He asks not liking how natural the two looked as they touched.
"It's Uchiha Sasuke…" He says with a smirk as he noticed the guys gaze on his possessive arm. They both glare each other down.
"Hey! What about me?! Huh?!" Naruto asks as she gets excited to meet new people.
"Not interested. Looks like you're taken anyway. Let's go…" He turns around with a disappointed face and Naruto looks at him, confused. All three of them disappear.
'Heh, this is getting interesting…At least I warned him off of my Naruto.' Sasuke thinks as he smirks.
"Konohamaru, do I look weak?" Naruto asks as she pouts behind Sasuke.
"Weaker than Sasuke, yes." The boy answers her honestly.
"Sasuke! I won't lose to you!" She growls at him as she gets right in his face. He kisses her small nose and she growls out loudly. "What's your problem?!"
"You guys go play over there for a few minutes, please?" Sasuke asks as he drags Naruto to the tree and presses her against it. "If you want Naruto we can train later and then go on a walk or to the onsen again." He says as he cups her cheek and places a hand besides her head. Naruto pouts and looks into his eyes.
"You still haven't apologized to me about calling me names and treating me like I'm weak." She says as she sulks and Sakura stares at them longingly.
"I am so sorry, Naruto. I just don't want anything to happen that could get you hurt. I know I am being mean to you and I am trying to stop and act nicer but to me you are more important than anything." He says and kisses her lips lightly. "I'll tell you what…" He says as he takes her ear lobe into his mouth. "We train for a few hours then I can make it up for you in the onsen, okay?" When she nods her head he reels back to look into her deep blue eyes and kisses her passionately.
