I want to apologize that in the rush of excitement to post the first chapter, I forgot to indicate the date of when it took place. I can't correct that now without losing all the comments - which I enjoy too much re-reading , so I am making this correction now, the first chapter took place in 354BC.

Now, despite this story being mostly AU, I'd like to follow the main timelines and events (that we know of); as usual inventing my own to fill the too numerous gaps. For me personally, knowing the age of the main characters is rather important. Unfortunately, many of them are not known and could be anybody's guess and approximate estimate (this tautology is on purpose….).

I don't know if it will be helpful, but I made a list for my story with approximate dates of birth for the main characters. The alphabetical list is below, it is rather long but all the people mentioned will be part of my story:

Alexander – 356 BC

Amyntas IV, nephew of King Philip – 365 BC

Amyntor, father of Hephaistion – 383 BC (his age is anybody's guess, I made him a year older that Philip, following Alexander/Hephaistion pattern)

Antigonus the One Eyed – 382 BC

Antipater – 398 BC

Aristotle – 384 BC

Arrhidaeus – 358 BC

Artabazus – 389 BC
