Hey guys! I have to write a huge essay though and I have a Biology test in a little less than an hour, but I'm going to write this instead of reviewing. Feel special. Because you all are *hugs all around*

Anyway, yesterday I got to play Skyrim at a friend's dorm! I brought over some popcorn (that his roommate and I burned to a black crisp, I kid you not) and chai tea. :D Gaming night! Whoooo! I really miss playing basketball though. I played all four years of high school . . . maybe I'll borrow my roommates ball and play this weekend. Yeah. That sounds good. And play more Skyrim, of course! Last week I had a Biology Midterm (my second for the same class) and the class average was 58%. I got a 75%, which is an A (because it's over one standard deviation of the average ), but still. That was a ridiculously tough test! D:

Ok. College ramble over. It's Yukio's turn to head to Gehenna. Let's ink this idea.

...

Yukio's POV

...

Rain tapped the windowpane and thunder shook the room. Lightning struck outside, creating cracks in the gloomy sky above that the thick clouds covered moments later. Yukio stared at the floor, his lips forming a thin, hard line.

What he was about to do was going to go against everything he taught. He had been taught to mercilessly dispatch demons, to slaughter them where they stood, to destroy anything to do with Gehenna. That training had led him to reject his brother, a rejection that his heart rebelled against and finally overcame his strict mentality.

Maybe that moment was the beginning, Yukio wondered, raising his head. His hair brushed past his face. Now not only was Yukio teaming up with two demons and making a trip to Gehenna, but he was going to Gehenna not to destroy it and yet risking his very soul itself - something that he wasn't against - but he was also going to save the son of Satan, something that the Vatican would have had killed if it wasn't for Mephisto's scheming.

"No." Mephisto's voice rose above the patter of the raise, and twin violet eyes locked with Yukio's own. The demon's smile was gone, replaced by a bitter frown that made Yukio cringe. "You're going to save your brother."

Yukio's eyes widened - could Mephisto read minds? - but the mere thought was insane, and therefore forgotten. The young exorcist faintly smiled. "Yeah." The demon smiled back.

"Yukio, will you be all right?" Yukio glanced towards Shiemi; the girl's emerald eyes were wide and full of fear.

"Of course," Yukio replied, ruffling her blonde hair. It was something that his brother would have done, and the gesture surprised him for a moment. However, he had other pressing things to worry about, such as his very existence. He turned his turquoise eyes to Mephisto; they were harder and colder than the gem they were colored after. "I'm ready," he stated.

Angel stepped beside Yukio. "And I as well," he added. He was holding his claymore in his hand; the white metal gleamed in the sporadic lighting. He had a confident look on his face, but Yukio could see the Paladin's unease by the way he stood, the way his shoulders were squared. The younger exorcist pretended not to notice.

Mephisto grinned. "Fabulous," he replied, and raised his hands.

Bon's POV

...

Bon raised his head and looked at the sky, that dark sky past the dark rim of his umbrella. The rain sounded like gunshots when it hit the water-proof material and, for not the first time, he wondered why the hell he went outside in the first place.

A noise to his left reminded him. "I got the comics!" Konekomaru shouted, running out of the comic book store. His tan umbrella bobbed as he ran, though his steps were made awkward thanks to the bag he was holding. He ran to Bon, grinning. "Thanks for coming with me."

Bon made an intelligible noise. "Where's Shima?"

Konekomaru turned around. "Still inside."

Minutes passed, and the rain continued to fall and fall and fall. Children splashed in the puddles and their mother's scolded them, and people ran across the street with newspaper over their heads like it would help any.

Bon's thoughts wandered, wandered back a month to the moment the madness happened. They were all going to celebrate the twin's birthday, and then demons started pouring out of the Vatican. Next thing they knew, all of them were being sent away from the school. Bon had tried to contact Yukio and Rin several times; Rin's phone was always turned off, and Yukio had never answered his. He had talked to Shiemi, since she lived on campus, but all she would say was that Yukio was really busy. She never mentioned anything about Rin and dodged the subject, but lately she wouldn't pick up the phone either.

Something, Bon frowned, is very, very wrong around here.

Suddenly Konekomaru pulled on his arm, snapped his thoughts in half. "There's Shima!" he shouted, pointing towards the store. Shima was walking out with a proud look on his face.

"Looky what I got," he said when he got close, and very discretely pulled out the top half of a magazine out of his bag. Bon scowled at the pretty colors, then saw the obvious shapes of the female anatomy and resisted the urge to punch the pink-headed idiot in the face.

"Seriously?" Bon demanded. Konekomaru turned bright red.

Shima scowled at the both of them. "It's limited edition!" he defended, tucking the magazine safely back into the plastic bag. "It's art!"

"I'm no artist," Bon argued back, "but that was definitely not art!"

Shima only shrugged. "Guess we have different tastes," he said, then grinned back at the bag and practically sang, "Ahhhh, what a beautiful day."

Bon grimaced at Shima and, as Konekomaru berated the exorcist, he turned his head back towards the sky. The rain was still falling; once in a while, lightning would split the sky.

Today was a lot of things, but beautiful wasn't one of them.

Yukio's POV

...

One moment Yukio was watching Mephisto, wondering how one's soul fell to Gehenna to begin with. The next, the room wavered as if he had been thrown underwater. A gasp escaped his lips as the room seemed to peel away like wet wallpaper, and underneath it all was the gloomy world of Gehenna. Mephisto's laugh echoed in Yukio's ears as he struggled to keep his eyes open, struggled to regain his sense of self as a tugging sensation burned in his chest.

The last thing he heard was the dim cry of Shiemi before the room fell away completely, and darkness took its place.
