Melyway: Ummm, wow, new person. Yeah…this story is pretty much only enhanced by things that I add into it. If it doesn't happen in the manga most often than not it won't happen in this one. I will see if my brain is mean to make me change something majorly. Well, more majorly than it will be very soon. Not going to give away what my brain has already planned but you guys might want to keep an eye out for the fight between Sasuke and Naruto. That's all I am going to say.

Cassie07: I will be doing two more quick chapters after this one and it will be a while afterwards that another one will come out. My family is doing great for now, but soon comes more doctor appointments to better understand everything my daughter is going through. We settled out on her epilepsy so that doesn't seem like it is an issue right now. Just need her behavior to be looked at closer. So here it is going to be a trial trying to figure out if they will put more meds in her system. I hope not but who knows.
Chapter Twenty-Three
Standing before the moderator, the two stare back at each other when Gaara giggles out crazily, causing Sasuke to look into his crazed eyes. "Begin!" The moderator shouts starting the match. Immediately Gaara's sand starts floating out of his gourd.
'So this is the sand Kakashi mentioned.' Sasuke thought as he starts to quickly back away from the teen. A cry of pain comes from Gaara and he grabs a hold of his head like he has a sudden headache starting. Sasuke looks at him, confused because the sand is starting to move sluggishly.
"Don't…get so angry…" Gaara says wearily. "Mother…"
'What's he talking about?' Sasuke wonders.
"I fed you some nasty blood earlier…I'm sorry…but this time…it will be delicious." He says manically while his sand starts to move around his body.
"Finally 'conversation' has begun…this is bad…" Kankuro says.
"I've never seen Gaara like this before a fight…is he really that much of an opponent?" Temari asks. Gaara cries out in pain again then starts panting when his face goes completely emotionless.
"Come." He tells Sasuke when he looks at him.
"You remember when we met him in the hospital?" Shikamaru asks Naruto as they both still sit in the stairwell. "That time, he…said that he will definitely kill us and for us to wait…that's what he said, but he didn't do it. It was a perfect chance for him. He wasn't even concerned by our presence."
"We…aren't enough." Naruto says, her eyes narrow.
"Right now, the only one who can make him experience what he wants is…" Shika stops and looks at the girl.
"It's Sasuke." She finishes for him. She remembers what Gaara said and the crazed look he had in his eyes. She started getting cold chills and shaking.
'Naruto…' Shika looked at her with a worried look. Naruto stands up in a hurry.
"Shikamaru…I'm going to find Kakashi-sensei." She says with a panicked look on her face.
"What are you planning to do?" He asks. "Hey!"
"I'll stop…this fight!" She starts running full speed and finds him standing along the aisles of the stands in the audience. "Kakashi-sensei!" She yells to get his attention and everyone turns to look at the girl.
"Naruto-chan!" Lee says with a smile on his lips, when he saw the blond in pig tails. Both she and Shikamaru were panting.
"Hn? What's up?" Kakashi asks.
"Sensei! Stop this fight right now!" Naruto yells out in protest. "He's totally different from us! He's not normal!"
"Naruto…what are you talking about?" Ino asks.
"He lives to kill others! Anyway, at this rate…Sasuke will die!" Down in the ring you could see the ball of sand that Gaara is encased in while his eyeball of sand is forming. Sasuke is showing the fight with some scrapes and cuts. "Kakashi-sensei!"
"Well…don't worry. He and I…weren't late for nothing…" As Kakashi says this Sasuke wipes the blood from his cheek and smirks. Sasuke starts running to the huge ball of sand and kicks it. His foot only bounces off of the sand, no damage was even shown.
'As I thought no good…' Sasuke smirks and then hears Gaara muttering to himself inside of the ball. 'Hiding in there…I don't know what he's up to but…this is perfect, since mine also…takes time…' Sasuke clenches the muscles in his hand right in front of his face, making it look like he was forming his hands into a claw.
"Sensei, what do you mean that you weren't late for nothing?" Sakura asks.
"Hn? You wanna know?" He looks at the girl.
"Look, we don't have time for this!" Naruto growls out.
"Be quiet and watch him…" Kakashi says to her and turns to look back at the match. "You'll be surprised." Sasuke back flips a few times to get himself some momentum before he jumps up halfway to the top of the wall. Using his Chakra he sticks to the wall and starts forming seals. When he finishes the seals he starts using the Jutsu by rushing Chakra through the canals quickly enough that it comes out in shocks of electricity. It covers his complete hand and sparks fly off every which way.
"No way…is that…?" Guy asks as he looks over his shoulder at the white haired male who is smiling under his mask.
"The reason I trained Sasuke is…because he is…the same type as me." As the waves of electricity get larger from his hand it makes a small crater in the wall. A smirk appears on the teens face as he looks at the ball of sand. He takes off running down the wall holding the ball of electricity to the side. The wall's outer edges crumble, making a path as he goes.
"Heightened flesh?! I see…so that's why you only trained in Taijutsu…and had him greatly raise his speed." Guy says.
"Yup." Kakashi says with his eye showing his smile.
"Incredible…you can clearly see the Chakra in his hand…what's going on?" Sakura wonders.
'Impossible…that Jutsu…so this is the Uchiha clan…' Guy says watching every step of the way.
"Yeah…I'm going to rip off his head…" Gaara says from the inside of the ball. "Then crack it open so the brain comes out…huh? The head. Then tons of blood will flow out…You can have all of it. Kyahaha. I'm always a good boy…Yeah, let's do it, mother. I'll be watching." Sasuke jumps off of the wall about fifteen feet from the ground and sped towards the ball.
"What is…that?" Naruto asks as she stares at the eye ball floating in the air by the ball. The Chakra emitting from the teens hand is making sounds that could imitate the sounds that birds make.
"What is this technique? And this sound…" Sakura yells out.
"A simple stab." Guy says.
"Huh?" The girl sounds confused.
"But it is…the Leaf's number one technician, copy Ninja Kakashi's sole original technique." When Guy says this Naruto looks at him in confusion. "It's a technique specially for assassination. The speed of the stab and the great amount of Chakra that creates the heightened flesh, because the Chakra is concentrated in the hand and with the speed of the user, you hear…chi chi chi chi chi…It produces a special sound like a thousand birds are running towards you. Thus that technique is called this…" As he is explaining Sasuke reaches the ball of sand and quickly brings his Chakra covered hand toward the ball of sand. Making ripples in the sands surface as it comes closer.
"Chidori!" Sasuke's hand plunges into the sand and disappears from everyone's sight. Their shocked expressions are almost comical compared to the smirk on Sasuke's face. Sasuke holds his hand inside of the ball of sand that looks like the protective spikes are melting.
"Chidori…or as it's also known, the Lightning Edge." Guy says with a smile on his face.
"Lightning Edge?" Sakura asks.
"The lightning edge is…a nickname earned when Kakashi cut of a bolt of lightning with that technique." Guy explains.
'Hah? Cut lightning? Huh?' Sakura looked confused.
'Yeah right…' Ino thought as she looked like she didn't believe.
'W…wow!' Choji looked shocked.
"Its true name is Chidori. It is known for its stabbing speed that pushes the limits of the human body…and the huge amount of Chakra that is focused in one arm. That arm then becomes the blade of a sword that cuts anything. But…what a truly ridiculous technique it is…" Guy states.
"Like you should talk…right Lee-kun?" Kakashi says looking at the teen in front of them.
"Well…it's beyond my level of understanding but…what an amazing technique!" Sakura exclaims.
'I can understand…I wouldn't run with that speed straight into my opponent in that manner…Actually, I can't do it…a straight forward attack makes it easy for the opponent to counter…and I don't have the "eye" to see that counter…I'm jealous of your unease…Sasuke-kun. That one time we fought in the past, I told you this… "Even if you can see it, if your body can't move there's nothing you can do"…that was my sense of superiority…but now…you have the same body speed that I had…but you also have the Sharingan!' Lee thinks while looking at the brunette in the arena.
"I've got you." Sasuke says while watching the ball through Sharingan wielding eyes.
'Heh…the girl that was worried about Sasuke a second ago…is now jealous of him…' Shika thought as he watches Naruto standing there gripping the railing and suddenly the railing is totally destroyed and breaks under the slim but firm grip that Naruto has on it. 'Crap, I forgot the rules. She's now pissed because Sasuke didn't follow them. What the hell are we going to do when she goes on a rampage over her own boyfriend not following them?'
"What's…this warm stuff…mother…what did…" All of a sudden Gaara lets out an agonizing scream. "Blood…My…My Blood!" Sasuke's eyes widen up when he feels something gripping his arm tightly. He starts struggling to remove it from the sand. When finally he just gets royally pissed and amplifies his Chakra to create lightning to remove it. When he does there is a disfigured hand wrapped around his arm. He quickly makes it release him and he backs away from it quickly.
"What's that?" Guy asks. Sasuke stares at the hole in the sand ball with his Sharingan still activated, trying to get a glimpse of what is inside of it. When he saw the eye peaking out he looked shaken up.
'What's this…feeling…?' The moderator wonders as he stares on at the two still in their match. Finally, the ball starts cracking and the sand showers down on top of Gaara's body, revealing the teen holding his right hand to his left shoulder as blood is dripping from his wound.
'No, it wasn't those eyes…what was that…thing that was looking right at me?' Sasuke wonders. Suddenly, in the crowd an ANBU casts a Jutsu putting everyone in the audience to sleep.
'Huh…what's this?...In front of my eyes…' Naruto's eyes started getting heavy and they were closing of their own accord, when Kyuubi growls out.
"No, kit. Don't fall asleep. This is just a Jutsu that puts people to sleep. Flare up your Chakra and cover yourself in a tiny layer of it while I do the same and we won't fall asleep."When she says this Naruto's eyes widen and she concentrates her Chakra to cover hers while boosting it at the same time. "It's just a Genjutsu that we have been learning together, so you should have no issue deflecting it now." Naruto nods.
"Kai!" She releases the Genjutsu and the others around her widen their eyes and do the same.
"Kakashi, this is…" Guy doesn't finish.
"Yeah…It's Genjutsu." He replies back to the man. They both release the Genjutsu.
'Heh…the Leaf elite are impressive…using Genjutsu deflection.' One of the ANBU thought while looking over to see Naruto still awake. 'Oh…what's this? It seems that there is more to meet the eye with this one.'
'What's going on?!' Sakura wonders as she releases the Genjutsu. Suddenly a huge explosion is rocking the floors when the Hokage's sitting box is blown up. After explosion you could hear more circling the entire village. Huge snakes with what looks like bibs appear from the cloud of dust. They break through the gates almost as soon as they appeared. Four ANBU zip up to the Hokage's box trying to get into position to protect their leader.
" 'Li' team, above! 'Ro' team, below!...Protect the ministers!" The leader says and they split up. As soon as they get closer to the box two figures fly out from the dust towards them. "Out of my way!" Before they could attack them the ANBU slice the two in half. Everyone's attention flew to the Hokage's box and as a form appears from the dust. The Kazekage appears holding a Kunai to the Hokage's throat. They disappear up on the roof. The two figures that were split in half disappeared and four forms sped off from their bodies. The shocked ANBU team's looked up to see the figures following after the two village leaders. "Pursue them!" The four figures landed on each corner of the roof when the ANBU team arrived.
"Do it!" The Kazekage says.
"Yes!" They formed signs. "Ninpou: Quad Purple Flame Wall!" A wall with a violet hue shows up surrounding the two men. When the closest of the ANBU team hit the wall he was set on fire that killed him almost instantly with a scream.
"Urh, a barrier eh…" The leader says while he and his team lands right before it. Below them more Shinobi's appear besides the one disguised as an ANBU.
"He's the one who used the Genjutsu?" One of the village Shinobi's asked.
"Seems like it…" Another answers.
"This is bad…" Kakashi says.
"Nine traitors…" Guy says.
"Gaara, the plan…" The teen's sensei says.
"I knew it." Temari says when she looks at her little brother.
"What's wrong?" Kankuro asks.
"Fool! Trying to transform into your complete form before the signal!" Their team leader growls.
"He's experiencing the side effects. It's impossible to proceed now." Temari says.
"Then what are we supposed to do?! Do it without Gaara?!" Kankuro shouts.
"Abort the mission." He tells them and they look at him with wide eyes. "You guys take Gaara and retreat."
"What about you!?" Temari shouts at him.
"Damn…" Kankuro grits out.
"I'll join the battle. Go!" He tells them.
"Y…yeah." Temari stutters out and they take Gaara and leave. Sasuke's eyes widen as he watches them go over the arena wall.
"Is the leader of this party…Orochimaru?" The Shinobi asks as he stands in front of Sasuke protecting him.
"Who knows? Let's just join the fun." The man says with a smile on his face.
"Hey! What's going on?" Sasuke yells.
"Sorry, but the Chuunin exam is now over. You go pursue Gaara and the others." He tells the teen. "You're already at the Chuunin level. If you're a Leaf Shinobi then make yourself useful."
'Geez…' Sasuke looked around. 'What is this!?' He then takes off.
'Sasuke…' Kakashi watches as his student went over the wall.
