Gex: Enter the Gecko

Chapter 4: Gilligex Isle

I quickly rolled to my side as a bunch of tiki baddies was throwing some fire at me. Looks like these guys like playing with fire! I rolled behind a tiki torch as they continued to throw fireballs at me when I noticed that some of the fire balls from the center pot was throwing blue fire at me as well. Thinking quickly, I dived out from cover and tail wacked the incoming blue flame, sending it back towards one of the tiki baddies and hitting him right in the face, sending him right into the boiling pot. Seems to me I found a way to end this fight!

I continued dodging behind tiki torches as fire walls were coming from both sides of me! I tail bounced to barely avoid getting my tail cooked and tail wacked another blue flame into another tiki baddie, sending him into the pot as well! Only one more to go! I leapt high above the tiki torch and bounced right off to avoid the flame and tail wacked another blue flame, sending it right into the last tiki baddie! But my celebration was cut short when he was still hanging on from the pot.

"Rez was right about you! You are a stubborn gecko!" He screamed at me as I peered over the edge.

"What does Rez want this time?! I already stopped him before and I can do it again!"

He laughed at me and saw the white in his eyes behind his cracked mask. "Rez always gets what he wants Gex! He will continue the Media Dimension and soon enough, he will control the world!" With a final laugh, the tiki baddie lost his grip and fell into the pot. A gold remote popped out from the pot and floated in front of me. I grabbed it and was quickly zapped out.

*Media Dimension*

I jumped out of the television and cheered as the gate in front of me opened up! Looks like these golden remotes are going to come in handy if I'm ever going to find Rez! I took a moment to breathe a sigh of relief and continued forward, knowing full well that I needed to continue if I was going to find Rez!

*Rezopolis*

Deep within the Inner Sanctum of Rezopolis, we see a bunch of television monitors with Gex on them from his journey so far. In the center of it all was Rez, floating on his makeshift throne of broken monitors and scarp metal as he watched.

"Your highness, I told you that gecko would follow us into the Media Dimension again!" Called a voice from the shadows.

"Heh, Gex stopped me before Mooshoo because of his love of television! He knows that so long as I exist within the Media Dimension, he won't be able to watch his reruns!" He snarled at his underling.

"Ay, but he seems to be still behind in terms of getting to us. Maybe it is time for me to introduce myself and have a fun chat with him!" Mooshoo laughed as he headed towards one of the monitors.

"Go then Mooshoo and don't disappoint me like the others!" Rez declared as Mooshoo was zapped into one of the monitors. "Gex, this time, you have truly met your match! HAHAHAHA!"
