Eleventh Day: Puppet

Written in 2014.

"They're so fuckin' fake, yet they get all the damn jobs. Where's the fairness in that?"

"It's fair because they do the dirty work, Paul. There's nothing else to it."

"It's bullshit. Get these fuckin' robots out here to do the work, when some of us are practically dyin' for jobs."

The man's companion chuckled. "Yeah, well I don't see you trying to find a job."

"That's cause those bastards took 'em all!"

Deidara rolled his eyes and ignored the old bickering men. This was the one reason he didn't take the subway anymore. Huffing out a breath, he moved his too long hair out of the way to put wireless earbuds into his ears. He swiped his thumb across a bracelet on his wrist and a hologram appeared on the underside of his forearm. He found his music, and pressed it to start playing.

In an instant Beethoven's ninth symphony began playing and Deidara scowled before swiping at the hologram again. Half the songs were not his own. "Fucker, un," he muttered under his breath. He couldn't count how many times he told Sasori to not take his things when he could easily build his own models. But Sasori never listened to him, just like when Deidara told him to not take apart the car for his latest gadget.

Deidara was nearly at his wits end, but Sasori had always stated that Deidara liked him too much to actually find a way to disable him. Most of Deidara's time was spent pondering how he had managed to fall in love with a fucking android.

Deidara let Beethoven play for a little while longer.

Once he had reached his stop, he walked another two blocks to get to his bus; yet another form of transportation he despised. He was really going to let Sasori hear it today.

The bus smelled like too much motor oil and urine, per usual, but this time there were four children. One, a little boy was throwing a fit because he wanted ice cream, while a baby girl, judging by the clothes, wouldn't stop wailing. Probably due to the noise of two brothers arguing over which android boxer was the best.

Deidara nearly began hitting his head against the window.

It felt like an eternity before the bus came to his stop and he only had to walk one block to get to his town house. It was just a line of houses stuck together, similar to apartments, but bigger and way more expensive. Deidara wondered if Kakuzu would try to skip out on his rent again.

Deidara passed by his parked car and opened the hood to see if the parts were put back in. Nope. Groaning loudly to himself, he slammed the hood down, before unlocking the front door and stepping in. Not even bothering to step out of his shoes, he stomped his way upstairs to see that the kitchen table was littered with greasy parts of metal Deidara couldn't even begin describing.

"What the hell is this, un?" Deidara set down his backpack and gestured to the table where the oil was leaking into the wood.

"Inner workings of the stove. I needed a spring," a monotonous voice called from the kitchen. Deidara could easily see over the counter that separated him from the android, but his voice was lower, still probably taking apart the stove.

"First you take apart my car and now your wrecking the appliances, un," Deidara hissed just as Sasori stood up from the floor, wiping off grease from his hands with a dish towel.

"If I recall correctly, half of the funds to purchase the vehicle came from my own accounts. Therefore, half of the vehicle is mine. I took part of my half," Sasori stated, his brown eye half-lidded as he started down at the oil marks on his synthetic skin.

Deidara scoffed and kicked out a chair to sit down in. His day was way too long to deal with this shit.

Sasori finally looked up and raised a brow at the action. "You didn't take your shoes off," he pointed out blandly.

"And your ruining the table, un. See, we're both doing things we're not supposed to do."

Sasori put down the rag and his chest moved from inhaling and exhaling. A sigh. Sasori didn't need to breathe, but he had adopted humanoid actions to appear normal. Deidara wanted to point out every time that if Sasori wanted to present himself as normal, he would have to dye his hair to a realistic color. Once when he had mentioned it, the android had touched a hair near his ear, the crimson locks shining dully in the light. "But I like this color", he had replied and Deidara knew he would never actually make Sasori change. The bastard was too recalcitrant.

"You're upset."

Deidara was going to make a captain obvious sign one of these days for Sasori. But for now, he just rubbed his eyes and took out his earbuds which had stopped playing music as soon as he stepped into the house. "Yes, un," he answered dryly. "I know that you can't get the new parts from the lab at the moment, but I would appreciate it if you did not take apart the house. The landlord will find out and Kakuzu will freak out from the bill, un."

Sasori seemed to consider his words and he walked around the counter and stand by Deidara. He placed a hand on his shoulder and Deidara put his hand on top of his. "I will put the stove back together now." That was about the closest thing as an apology that Deidara would get but at least it wasn't aberrant.

"Did you take anything else apart, un?" Deidara stripped off his jacket as he watched Sasori pick up the metallic pieces from the table.

"I am confused by the accusation. Do you think me so reckless as to even take the screws from the walls?"

Deidara rubbed his eyes and shook his head. "For the love of God, no, un. You know, for someone who requested an emotions chip, but the least functioning one, you are getting defensive." He stood and grabbed the dirty dish towel that Sasori was using to wipe down the table. "And you didn't answer my question, un."

"I believe that we are running out of food for you and Kakuzu. We can go this evening if you have the energy," he equivocated once he ducked down by the oven again.

Deidara glared at him over the counter and waited for Sasori to begin talking.

"… Your blowdryer. I put it back together but it did not have the parts I needed."

Deidara swore and continued wiping. "I honestly think vacation is bad for you and everyone around you, un. You get too fucking bored and bug everyone. Why the hell would an android need a vacation?"

"I remember you distinctly saying I do not give you enough attention. Granted, I was not created for that purpose, but Chiyo believed I needed some time away from work."

"Well, you're stressing me out now because all you do is stay indoors. Why don't you go take a walk in the park, get some fresh air, un?" Deidara threw the dirty towel into a corner to be picked up later.

Sasori didn't comment on needing the air but he did shrug. "I merely have nothing to do. You are gone nearly nine hours out of the day and I have nothing else to occupy my time. I did find all of your outdated pornography on your laptop but that could only entertain someone so much."

Deidara wanted to admonish him for being officious but it was pointless. "Did you take apart my laptop, un?"

"Yes, but I put it back together and it is running more smoothly now. You're welcome," Sasori said it as if he was the most munificent being out there.

Deidara nodded and moved around Sasori to get a beer from the fridge. He just needed to unwind for a little while. Sasori could probably handle his grumpy moments but it tired Deidara out to no end. He hated being angry.

He moved to the living room without a word and turned on the television to see what new history program Sasori had recorded. He knew that the android liked listening to it while he worked. That, or instrumental music.

It was nearly a half hour later that Deidara fell asleep with a warm beer in his hand. When he had woken up, the bottle was placed on the coffee table with a coaster, his shoes were taken off and placed on the shoe-rack. The smell of oil was gone and the house looked cleaner than it had in days.

Groaning, Deidara rubbed his eyes and sat up. The show was still going on, or Sasori had put on another one because Deidara liked falling asleep to noise, but Deidara simply ignored it.

He went up the second set of stairs to see that their bedroom door was ajar, Sasori tweaking at one of his arms, near the elbow, with a screwdriver

Deidara stepped in and fell back on the bed, trying to jostle his boyfriend as much as possible. Sasori was unaffected. "Whatcha doin', un?"

"It seems that you are in a better mood now. Do I need to give you alcohol more often now so you do not 'bite my head off' in the future?" Sasori's idea of a joke. "This screw is bothering something and I cannot figure out what. I was looking for a spare one in your blowdryer but there were none."

"You know you can only improve yourself so much," Deidara mumbled as he ran his hand down Sasori's leg in comfort. It wasn't the android's comfort, but his own. Deidara was afraid that one day Sasori would augment himself so much that he would find a better purpose in life than hanging around a human who's job was to clean up after other artists.

Sasori's lip twitched upwards and it was his version smile. He hummed in humor. "This isn't something to improve my capability. The screw has been worn for these past few weeks and a replacement is needed. The lab has plenty but I am forbidden to come back until my leave has been completed."

Deidara smiled sleepily and threw an arm around Sasori's waist. Sometimes, the android knew him better than he knew himself at times.

"For now, I will just have to tighten it every day." Sasori continued to talk to Deidara, wanting to pervade every single detail and it made Deidara want to fall asleep again.

"Do we still need groceries, un?" Deidara mumbled in his sleep.

Sasori looked up from another part of his arm and narrowed his eyes at the wall which held a screen. It could was more advanced than the television in their living room and also acted as a computer and a phone. He swiped his hand through the air and a holographic, green keyboard appeared in front of him.

"I will send Hidan the list."

"Mm, send Kakuzu with him, un," Deidara cracked open an eye to stare up at Sasori. "Hidan doesn't care what he grabs because he doesn't eat any of it."

"Yes, but Kakuzu will want us to pay him back with interest," Sasori countered as he finished typing and sent the message. he swiped his hand, and the screen went black. For humans to do so, it required a bracelet, but Sasori had programed the hologram to read the prints on Deidara's palm instead of searching for the chips inside Sasori's arm. The landlord would be pissed if he found out how much Sasori upgraded the home.

Out of all the androids that Deidara had known or seen, Sasori was the only one who seemed the most human out of all of them. When Sasori interacted with humans, most knew right away that he was an android, his speech too formal, little habits that he had picked up not covering for them. But the thing that set him apart from all of those other androids was his imagination, his somewhat cognizant way of thinking when it came to creating.

Sasori could easily put that skill to behaving more like a human but it wasn't necessary. He wasn't created for that in the first place.

Deidara had met Sasori teaching a wood shop class at the art institution he was studying at the time. He had peaked in to see this so not human thing interact with all of the students, teaching them this or that, but when he taught or explained things to them it wasn't mechanical. He had his own opinions, preferences even if they weren't seen as the best options by others. This was the first android Deidara had seen that thought for himself.

Granted when Deidara talked to him for the first time, Sasori was a stuck-up little shit but Deidara's curiosity won out and he spent some more time with him when he had a few minutes to spare between classes.

Sasori was subbing for the class because he owed a favor to a friend and he didn't plan on continuing to teach even though it intrigued him to see student's horribly wrong opinions. It entertained him.

They still saw each other afterwards in little places, usually the art store. At one point, Deidara gathered up enough courage to ask Sasori about his past, more specifically why he was so different.

They were in a café, Deidara having a mocha where Sasori had nothing. The android's smile was pathetic in size, but Deidara could see the mirth behind it.

"I am a second generation android–" Deidara nearly spewed his hot drink, but he had just enough politeness to choke instead. In all honesty, it would be hard to find a generation three android roaming the streets. Sasori raised a brow and continued, "I was created fifty years ago, and I was the first android with the prototype of an emotions chip. Although before that, I still functioned the same. The chip," he had to pause and Deidara wondered if he was just doing it for dramatic effect. "I understand how human's can be so irrational now. It is so easy to fall under things like rage, bliss, and lust." he glanced at Deidara with a tilt of his head for a moment before looking out the window.

"Although some may say that I am still too callous and abrupt, I think I would be like that either way. But I was created to create." His smile held a different kind of humor now. "I have proved my resourcefulness to my creator and her peers. I am responsible for many of the improvements in androids today. Although some would say that it was my creator's brilliant programming that did that and that she should get the praise. Whenever someone would tell her this, her instant reaction would be to throw something sharp at them. But that is always Chiyo."

Deidara tightened his arm around Sasori's waist, his thoughts now back on the current situation. Sasori was old. Most androids could not open up their arm to tweak something. Everything would work smoothly, like a real arm, wires imitating muscles. Sasori still had to tweak with himself. That was why the android was so good at improving his own kind. Sasori experienced the problems and knew the best way to fix them.

Deidara knew he shouldn't get mad if Sasori took apart a few appliances to find spare parts, but it worried him sometimes.

An arm came around his shoulders and he looked at Sasori again whose countenance was one to tell him not to worry. Just a few minutes ago Deidara was worried about Sasori becoming so great, that he would leave. Now he was worried about Sasori becoming obsolete and scrapped.

Groaning, Deidara buried his face in the android's lap. At times Deidara wondered if it would be easier to date a human.

"Would you like me to cheer you up?"

Deidara gave a full body shudder as he felt Sasori's lips move right next to his ear, the words whispered huskily. He felt the arm slide down his side and a hand rest on his hip before he was being massaged gently. Deidara knew what he was implying – it was pretty damn obvious, but then again, that was Sasori.

Contrary to belief, androids could have sex, and not just the sex-bots that you found in the red district brothels. Androids nowadays had a very basic nervous system to feel, which Sasori had created and tested out himself, and pleasure was something that most had wanted to experience.

But Sasori could not experience physical pleasure, his system too outdated to do so. And it pained Deidara that whenever they had sex it was mostly for him, but afterwards, the android would always reassure him that it was satisfying for him as well, to see Deidara wrecked and panting for more. Sasori liked seeing the emotions, but didn't like to have them for himself at times.

So whenever Sasori offered to have sex with Deidara, the blond couldn't not feel guilty.

He sighed and he felt Sasori kiss a spot behind his ear. "It's all right if you don't want to, Deidara." Sasori nearly moved his hand away but Deidara moved up slowly and gave an non-platonic kiss to the android. Sasori's smile was slighter bigger than normal as he cupped the back of Deidara's neck to kiss him more roughly.

It felt real, all of it, and Deidara didn't know how any of it was possible, even though Sasori tried to explain it to him once. When Sasori laid him down on the bed gently, the androids hands skimmed over his arms, as if Sasori was hesitant as he straddled him. It all seemed very human.

Most of the time, the both of them were eager, nearly tearing off clothes as they attacked each other with hungry mouths. Sasori had the strength to overpower Deidara ten times over, yet he sometimes allowed himself get dominated and let Deidara ride himself to exhaustion.

Deidara sometimes thought he was a sweetheart. Especially when he was being so gentle. He asked permission to take off his shirt this time, and once the garment was removed, Sasori began kissing down his chest and arms, not marking, just re-memorizing.

He's trying to get me to relax, Deidara thought with a content sigh. A sweetheart.

It took nearly a half hour for the both of them to be naked and have Deidara impaled with three of Sasori's fingers, cursing as he tore at the sheets under him.

"Sasori… now, un!" he looked up at the android who just shushed him and told him to be patient for a little while longer. Said the most impatient being ever.

It was nearly two whole minutes later when Sasori removed the digits and Deidara was left feeling empty and panting like a bitch. Sasori looked at Deidara tenderly and spread his legs just a little more to allow him to get into position. He placed a pillow under Deidara's hips to get more comfortable, all the while not breaking eye contact with him.

When Deidara felt the head of Sasori's phallus at his entrance, he relaxed and let the android in. Sasori was kissing Deidara's face the entire time he entered him, making sure to take his time to get Deidara adjusted. Instead, this just wound Deidara up even more, making him want to buck his hips to get him in faster.

Even when Sasori was buried to the hilt, he made sure to be careful with him. He cradled Deidara close to him as he gave minute thrusts that made Deidara nearly cry out in frustration. Sasori did the cross-word puzzle more vigorously than this!

When he looked up at Sasori, he saw the android's countenance fully content and Deidara realized this wasn't just for him. Sasori's emotions were minimal and seeing him react was what Sasori really got out of this. Deidara was feeling like a selfish asshole again about sex, but Sasori seemed to sense his thoughts and he shushed him gently before kissing him at the corner of his mouth softly.

After that, Sasori picked up his pace but it was still gentle. It left Deidara writhing and gasping out little whines as he clawed at the android's back. Sasori could feel pain, something that he needed if he was working with something dangerous and had to get away quickly, but he didn't arch away from Deidara's hands.

He pushed his back into the nails and exhaled softly, reveling at the feeling. His thrusts became harsher in their passion and Deidara arched his back off the bed once Sasori struck his prostate. His high-pitched gasp was cut off by Sasori's lips on his, tongue soon delving deep into his mouth, and Deidara threw his arms around his neck to keep him pulled close.

Soon, they became nothing but a tangle of limbs and if an on-looker were to identify which ones were human and the other android, they would not be able to tell. At the moment, they were both the same thing and that thing was driven by desire, both physical and mental.

At one point, Sasori actually pulled out and Deidara keened at the loss, throwing Sasori the most pathetically malice-filled look. The android kissed his nearly swollen lips before moving to turn him over onto his stomach. Deidara knew his goal and hoped that the neighbors wouldn't be too mad.

Sasori pulled Deidara up by his hips and thrust in with half-concealed eagerness. Deidara gasped and supported himself on his elbows. Sasori bent over and bit at his ear before whispering, "Let me hear you."

After that, Deidara became a mess. He couldn't stop wriggling and Sasori's hands didn't allow him to move far. The thrusts displaced him more often than not, but Sasori would just pull him back into position and continue to take him apart from the inside.

Deidara knew that Sasori liked to look at his face when he took him, but in this position, he could go deeper and hear him better. Every fifth thrust or so, Sasori would touch him somewhere new to hear a different sound. When he pinched his nipple roughly, Deidara would yowl and try to move away, unconsciously taking Sasori inside him deeper. When Sasori would lick and bite between his shoulder blades, Deidara would hum deeply.

He would touch him everywhere but his cock and most times Deidara had to beg him to touch him there too, sounding like a harlot. Sometimes to embarrass Deidara, Sasori would repeat the words to him when they were in public and he would savor the reaction of Deidara becoming flushed. Other times he would whisper to them in bed to get Deidara more riled up.

"Do you want me to touch you here as well, Deidara?" He didn't sound half as wrecked as Deidara, but Deidara could almost hear how Sasori was having a hard time restraining himself. A second later, Sasori's hand came around Deidara's cock, barely touching it and Deidara's hips bucked into his hand, accidentally pulling himself away from the android's own member.

"Sasori, p-please, un," he whined as he was caught between the two things he wanted. He had to primal urge to just rut into Sasori's hand, but there was also the pleasure from behind that made him see stars constantly. Both at the same time made him a mess.

Sasori had once tested to see if Deidara could come from just penetration and it was one of the longest experiences of Deidara's life. It took nearly an hour and even though Sasori had the stamina, Deidara wasn't a spry teen anymore. He was exhausted half-way through and he hadn't even come yet. But true to Sasori's filthy words, the android did make him come and so violently that Deidara had passed out for a few minutes.

Deidara didn't like to be tormented like that unless he knew that he was extremely sex deprived and would get relief within ten minutes.

This was another torment that Deidara hated. "Oh, God," Deidara huffed as he clutched at the sheets in front of him. "P-please, keep going, Sasori, un."

Sasori hummed and nipped at Deidara's ear as one of his hands moved down his arm to lace his fingers with Deidara's. "You know what you haven't called me in ages, Dei?"

Deidara groaned and bit his lip as Sasori thrust in deeply, his breath taken from him. "Danna," he whispered harshly, before taking a deep breath. "Fuck me, un."

Sasori hummed and continued to do just that.

The androids fingers were still laced with his and it seemed to anchor Deidara some way through the hazy feel of being taken apart. When Deidara had enough breath to gasp out a moan, Sasori would do something else to him to take his breath away again. Deidara could barely get out a word or command, but in the end he was begging to be fucked harder.

Sasori's hold on his hand became harder as he began to drive his way into Deidara's body and in no time Deidara was coming all over the rumpled sheets, his mouth opened wide in a gasp. Sasori continued to pound into him through his orgasm and Deidara nearly sobbed at the over stimulation that felt too good.

Deidara noticed that Sasori was staying still to give him a little time to rest, but Deidara just hummed and moved away a little, giving Sasori the okay to pull out. Before Deidara could even collapse to the bed, Sasori pulled him close to his chest and laid them both down, avoiding the wet spot in the middle.

"I am cheered up beyond belief, un," Deidara mumbled into Sasori's shoulder and the android smiled down at him.

"Next time we should close the door. Hidan came home earlier than expected."

Deidara nearly froze and peaked up at Sasori with an exhausted look. "Where is he now, un?"

"In his room," Sasori replied, nodding his chin to the closed door that was exactly across the hall from theirs.

Deidara groaned and put his head down, biting Sasori's shoulder, but the android just raised a brow at him. "He's never going to let me live this down, un."

Sasori hummed and snuggled up with Deidara. "I could just adjust his memory a little bit when he's not looking."

Deidara chortled and smacked his arm. "Kakuzu will find out and beat the shit out of you, un."

Sasori just shrugged. "Whatever you want, Deidara."

Staying silent for a moment, Deidara just thought. After a few seconds he closed his eyes. "Would you like to go somewhere, un?"

"Where to?"

Deidara shrugged to the best of his ability in Sasori's arms. "I don't know, but my Summer Break is about to start and I'm sure Chiyo could give you some extra time off... Just to get out of the house. The country, un. We could do something different for once."

The issue would still be there. Sasori becoming obsolete, bitter people who wanted the androids gone, Deidara trying to cope with all of it.

But it would be a distraction, and a welcomed one. It would made Deidara feel more than better. And he could be with Sasori for days on end, perhaps just the two of them.

"I would like that very much," Sasori said into Deidara's hair before tightening his arms around the human.

Deidara smiled and snuggled closer. He knew really that this was a machine made to look like a man, but he was still so much more. And when Sasori held him as well, Deidara knew that he would spend the rest of his life proving it.

To himself or others, Deidara didn't care. He just wanted Sasori to be there with him.

You can tell that I wrote this in high school, cuz I got my vocabulary list and wanted to use EVERY NEW WORD I HAD LEARNED.

(Also sorry I posted this later than usual, I was at D&D and totally spaced it lol)
