Hi again! Been a little...like most of the time XD. Thank you for your continued patience with these erratic updates.
Poke-ball 17: Short-sighted
Many people came to Sabrina asking why she didn't foresee the fire at the Gym, including Red. Why did no one understand, no matter how many times that she repeated it, that she only foresaw possibilities? There could have been a fire, or there could have been a normal battle, with either Red or Blue losing. There even could have been no battle at all, either because Red successfully recruited Blue, or because Blue never went to Celadon that day. He could have just as likely gone to Celadon instead.
So she had not mentioned the fire, because it seemed the most remote of outcomes. She doubted that trying to warn Red against it would have changed much anyway, knowing his reckless attitude. Still, she wondered. Then again, she always wondered whether her predictions or silence were more deadly.
People reacted to Team Rocket's resurgence in two different ways: they either hid in their homes, or pranced about proudly alongside their trusted Pokemon. Everyone wanted to be the next Red, and some were brave and short-sighted enough to attempt it. Battles with Team Rocket grunts waged everywhere. For now, that was fine. The grunts needed the practice, and it would separate the strong from the weak and disloyal.
But now the time had come for Sabrina to betray Saffron City. She didn't think she had much attachment ot the place, being the embodiment of everything she hated about Kanto, yet she still felt a little sadness. There were nice people here too, and she hoped they had the sense to get away quickly. She couldn't warn them because that would undermine the plan. As rash as this plan was…well, there was no going back now. Every possibility pointed to bedlam.
Sabrina walked out into the city in black, with gold trimming on her long coat. On the inside of the coat was a golden R, but she wasn't ready to reveal that yet. During her stroll she spotted Blue, lost in his own thoughts. Like Red he seemed unsettled. How unfortunately perfect. She talked with Blue briefly, as much to distract herself as him.
It was long enough to plant the subtle mental impulse to go to Silph Co, however.
Sabrina continued on to her Gym. She needed to prepare its transmutation into a fortress.

So, slowly but surely, we have more plot forming. We might even have something like (gasp) a plan. Though that's sure ot mutate like all long stories do...
