Wow, an update that doesn't take months! :P
On a (slightly) more serious note, looks like Remi broke Erika. This'll be fun.
Poke-Ball 18: Respect
This wasn't the boy's fault. Erika knew that. No one had intended to burn her Gym down, and certainly hadn't intended to burn away lives with it. It was a fiery whirlwind of bad circumstances that had torn her life to burnt shreds.
This was her fault. She ran when she could have stayed and maybe saved someone. She could have stopped the fight sooner. She could have called for help. She could have…
That was how it always was. She had a thousand choices laid before her, and somehow she always chose the worst one. She couldn't face her city, because soon she would be exposed as part of Team Rocket. She couldn't face Team Rocket either, though, because they were a big part of why her Gym was set ablaze. Why did she think joining this revived Team Rocker was a good idea? She hated war!
She gazed up to the empty sky as she and Blue went onto the roof. She hard;y apid attention to the words she spoke.
Only her father understood her pain. He was only where he was through Team Rocket's help. That was back when they were a good force, before it all went sour like milk in the sun. She hoped this new Team Rocket would be like the original…but she saw them rampage on the news. Targeting children and the elderly, stealing Pokemon that didn't deserve to be stolen, prancing around like schoolchildren pretending to be gangsters…She should have expected as much. That's what she got for placing her hopes on a rebellious child.
Three Pidgey circled overhead like vultures. Perfect. She sent out her Vileplume.
Blue sent out his Arcanine. She could tell that the child didn't understand her whims at all. She almost felt sorry for him. This boy knew nothing of war.
"Arcanine! Extreme Speed!" Blue ordered, though it lacked the usual snappiness.
The gigantic tiger-dog shot forward like a bullet, slamming into Vileplume.
The boy was holding back. At least he had some conscience. It was sad that the boy was still clueless. It was true that Vileplume was the only Pokemon left on her team, but…
"Toxic," said Erika flatly.
The huge red flower released a burst of purple vapor that enveloped the Arcanine. She heard the mystic canine cough, but she didn't know if it was successfully poisoned.
She didn't care. It wasn't the target.
"Gust!" Erika shouted to the wild Pidgey above.
The little birds, ones she had tamed long ago through their frequent visits to her garden, flapped her wings rapidly. Their tiny gales blew the toxic cloud from Arcanine to Blue. The boy started coughing, then wheezing.
"Whirlwind!' Erika shouted.
This time the Pidgey created a much bigger tornado, one so powerful that it carried Arcanine off the rooftop and away into the city sky.
"Arcanine!" Blue yelled hoarsely, before going into a coughing fit. "W-Why?" His body was trembling.
"Because someone needs to teach Red the real cost of war," said Erika coldly, as Blue collapsed. "Maybe then he'll finally learn to respect life."
IIIIII
So that went from 0 to 60 in nothing flat...I may have just seriously screwed with your plans, Remi XD
