I know it's been a while, I had the worst writers block ever and my life took many turns.

I plan to have the next one out as soon as I'm finished with it. Hope you enjoy, and please Review.

They finished straightening up and retying ties, both men fold out of the car gracefully. The building was huge and fancy looking. Saskue wasn't often marveled by things in high-class any more, but this was a damn-fancy looking building. But hey, he looked damn fancy didn't he?
Kakashi set off, and Sasuke kept pace, the white haired man walked with great pride and grace. Sasuke mimicked him as best as he could without feeling like a child all dressed up playing pretend with fancy suit and his cane.

After about the fourteenth person, Sasuke lost track of names, but he'd memorized the piece about all of his gems and played the part well of showing them off and selling them with sultry-sounding additions to their descriptions.

Sasuke presented confidence all night, even if he was the most nervous he has ever been in his life. There were so many people of high power and even higher wealth here, he almost felt like a scrub. No wonder why people craved money so much, at every level there is a higher level that makes what you have done feel like nothing again.

He let out a sigh at the bar. He'd not seen Kakashi in almost an hour now, after he excused himself to talk to client. Apparently he'd played is part well because many people came to talk to him and find out who he was. One gentleman sporting a tropey wife offered an incredible amount of money for the cane in the spot. Sasuke smoothed over with him that when his advisor whom he was assisting come back from his meeting he would find him and they could talk business.

"What can I get for you sir?" The bartender asks breaking him from his thoughts.

"Something strong and sweet, but no cocktails," Sasuke says putting his face back on and straightening up once again.
Halfway through his drink, Kakashi came strolling back up, scooping up his drink and taking a taste. "That's delightful," he notes, calling over the bartender with a hand motion. "Sorry that took so long, I was trying to get him to schedule at the company so he could see the store floor, but boy was he full of questions. Same please," he tells the bartender.

"There is a gentleman somewhere around here that we will find again, who offered a riddiculus amount of money for the cane. He hunted me down from across the room I think. Almost wouldn't let me go without it," Sasuke chuckles a bit, feeling instantly more comfortable with Kakashi at his side again.
Kakashi sighs a little bit and takes a good drink, "fine, but after that, I say we scoot on out of here, I doubled the projected profits for the night, and if you're talking about someone seriously wanting the cane and I sell it tonight as well, then we dont really need to be here any longer, and it will make us look more...exclusive."

Sasuke was a little taken back, "you want to leave?""

"Hey, I was hired to make a name for the company, not to make hugh profits, even though mine are the highest, not the point. If I sell some of the pieces we are walking around with, the one of a kinds, and sell the 'one-of-a-kind' points, our pieces end up becoming priceless and people will pay to have their own," Kakashi defends confidently. He sure didn't sound like and ex-teacher right now. Sasuke wondered how many lives Kakashi has lived before he'd met him all those years ago. "And leaving, means that people have to go look us up and come in to the store, which is always a better selling point."

Sasuke raised and eyebrow at him and finished the last of his own drink. "I think you just want to leave."

"We missed dinner, on the ride here," he says nonchalantly.

Sasuke blushed ever so slightly. The silver fox was right, as his own stomach took a turn at the thought of food. They hadn't eaten all night and the driver must have decided it was better not to stop before they came to the showing. That drink was hitting him a little hard too, consequence of an empty stomach.

They tracked the gentleman down quickly, but it was far from a quick leave. Nearly and hour and half later, and one less cane, Kakashi was calling in a check number from the back seat of the limo as they headed for some fancy restaurant Kakashi gave to the driver.
Kakashi looked up from the check and out the window, with the phone still pressed against his face. Before he could really grasp the concept of what was happening- his phone falling to his lap, as he is slammed backwards, throwing his arms up over his face. His eyes locking with Sasuke's for a split second and his face sped towards his and into the window behind him.

All Sasuke heard was a split-second's worth of tire squeal, and his face hit the window in front him with a force that crushed his nose and immediately knocked him out. The moment of fear in Kakashi's eyes crushing his heart against this window too.
