Lelanie's POV

I slowly fluttered my eyes open, a massive headache hit me like a ship, and it took me a while to adjust to the dim lights. I had no idea where I was, or who I was, and no idea how I got here. I only had a few dreams, but they were too hazy to figure out. I tried sitting up, making my headache worse, but I was too weak. I rolled onto my back and decided to look around first.

The room was dimly lit by a few candles, but even the light from the moon wouldn't be enough to see what was going on. Everything looked black and gloomy, blending in perfectly with the rest of the room. It was impossible to figure out where everything was, especially with my headache, so I closed my eyes hoping to wake up from this nightmare, but when I opened my eyes, nothing changed.

My headache got worse every time I thought about what happened, or tried to think about escaping. It was impossible to think of anything, so I continued laying on the floor motionless, trying to clear my mind. After a few minutes the pain started to go away, eventually I gave in to my tiredness and fell asleep, even though my gut was telling me to stay awake. I had no idea what happened, or how I got here, or where I came from, but I knew somehow I would escape. Somehow...

Author's POV

The girl was awake for about an hour, obviously suffering from a headache, because she didn't move. Her blonde hair was tangled and all over the place. Her arms were a little brused and were laying lifeless next to her body. Her green eyes occasionally looked at the room, but it was too dark to see anything. Eventually she fell asleep, the only thing moving was the rhythmic rising and falling of her chest. After watching her for a while I got up and went to my master to report the situation.
