(Acheron Fokkusu's POV)

One day, I was just driving my own 2-door coupe on a road that leads to Savanna Central. I was heading over there to pick something up that I reserved not too long ago. While I was driving, a white van turned from the corner and it drove past me. At first, I ignored it but as I turned my head a bit to the left, I could see the glimpse of the back door of the van opening and closing on its own.

'What the hell? That door hasn't been secured properly. I better tail him then.'

I changed the gears as I followed the van.

After I tailed the van for more than 15 minutes, we're approaching to a stoplight. Before we could approach even further, the van drove to an unsuspected pothole. The force of it causes the unsecured door of the van to swing wide open. I watched in horror as the boxes of baked pies fell onto the ground.

'Oh shit!'

Immediately, I honked my car at the van.

'Hey! Your unsecured cargo were falling off!'

The van then pulled over to one side and I did the same. As I disembarked, a red fox dressed with his baker's apron also disembarked. I then approached to him.

'Hey, dude. Your merchandises were not secured properly.'

'Really?!'

'I'm afraid so.'

The red fox checked the back of the van and he could see the now open van door and the boxes of pies scattered in a pile of mess. To make things worse for him and I, the other boxes that fell on the middle of the street was now being ran over by other vehicles passing by.

'Damn! I'm so sorry to see those, man.'

The red fox simply grumbled at himself. He then checked the other boxes that were still inside on the van. Luckily, there were still some remaining. He then sighed.

'Good thing not all of them were lost.'

'I suppose so.'

The fox then checked the door. We both noticed that the lock was now corroded and that might be the cause of this untimely mess.

'I think my lock's broken. Damn it.'

'It is.'

I sighed.

'I don't want to say this to you but to be honest, I been tailing you back there because I saw your van's door that wasn't been shut properly.'

'Really?'

'Yeah. Sorry for not telling you about it right away. I tried to call you but you're driving too fast. Good thing I stopped you right here near the stoplight'

'I see.'

'Yeah.'

He then sighed.

'I guess this mess is all of my fault. I never knew that the door wasn't locked like it was supposed to.'

'I won't blame you and don't blame yourself, man. Everyone makes mistakes too.'

'Yeah. Thanks.'

He then started to load up the dropped boxes onto the van. Since I don't want there to stand, watch and do nothing, I helped him in loading the extra boxes.

'Let me help you with these.'

'No thanks. I'll handle those.'

'What? No, man. I insist.'

My words make him a bit speechless. I helped him in loading back the cargo and after all of it were being loaded, I told him to wait.

'Wait there.'

I took something from my car. When I returned, I replaced the corroded lock with a new one of my own. With it in place, I looked back at the fox that I helped.

'There ya go, man. I secured your merchandise with a new lock.'

'T-Thanks.'

'Pleasure.'

I then gave him the keys to the lock. He then looked at me.

'What's your name?'

'The name's Acheron. Acheron Fokkusu. Yours?'

'My name is Gideon Grey.'

He then extends out his paw.

'Nice to meet you.'

'Nice to meet you too, Gideon.'

We pawshaked with one another
