Eclipse bolted to her feet as she realized the voice was another mind-reader. She had not been protecting her thoughts, so this person, no, they weren't human, this thing was reading her mind.

She sat down again at the thought that they couldn't hear her or even see her. There was no way anyone believed in her anymore. But why was she getting the feeling that there was something watching her? She could feel its presence behind her.

When she looked down at her lap, she saw the familiar white-bladed scythe with small floating dark purple triangles that were supposed to represent her name. Solar Eclipse, a curious name for a spirit of death. "Hmm." She thought as the presence grew closer "maybe they're a spirit too." As eclipse looked back at the forest behind her. She saw a person staring right at her.

he immediately shot a bolt of stone from his hand, Eclipse was surprised that she was being attacked or even seen, but he could see her, and he was attacking her. the bolt clipped her arm and she hissed in pain. he shot another, but he was to slow. Eclipse shot into the air, her white and purple wings unfurling.

"Why is he attacking me?!" Eclipse thought to herself as she dodged more and more startling attacks from the boy. She looked into his mind to find more about him but she was blocked out while he was concentrated on attacking.

She knew to kill him was a bad idea, but she couldn't help but think of it. "How DARE he." She thought "attacking the spirit of life and death!"

As she was pondering his attack, a sudden flare of light hit Eclipses left wing. She cried out in pain as she tumbled out of the sky.

"What happened?" This time it was Eclipse thinking it. She felt like her wing was on fire. Her head was spinning. She wasn't completely aware of what was happening. "What is that?" She thought. There was a whispering in her mind she couldn't block out. "Oh, it's the voices." Answering her own question. "But why couldn't I hear them before?" She pondered.

"Hmmm... where did that boy go? And why couldn't I tell what race he was?" Thoughts raced through Eclipse's mind.
