Hey guys! I am back with another chapter of Through Time and Space! I'm trying to get as many chapters as possible out to you guys before school starts. I'm off today, so I'm getting another chapter done. I can't believe I'm going back to school in like a week. It's crazy. This is my Senior year in college. I may not be going back to school at all after this year, and that blows my mind. Anyways, I'm watching LilSimsie on YouTube. Enjoy the chapter!

Magician's Apprentice Part 1

When I opened my eyes again, I was in a Tardis I recognized immediately. I'm in the 12th Doctor's Tardis! I got up to look around for Clara or Bill. Nobody was in the console room though. The Doctor comes in.

"Kate! Great timing! I was just about to talk to the Head of the Sisterhood. Come along." Head of the Sisterhood? Should I remember them? I followed him out to a rocky place with a pool. I vaguely remember this from an episode. What are we doing? The Doctor made it to the place and was talking to the leader as I got there. I go over to them.

"He has asked to see the two of you. His servants seek you everywhere. Will you go?" The leader asks.

"No." The Doctor says.

"Why do you always lie?"

"Why do you always assume I'm lying?"

"It saves time. The truth...will the two of you go?"

"No."

"When?"

"Soon."

"Why? Did something happen?"

"No."

"Was it recent?"

"Yes." Was this a season premiere? What is going on? Who's after us?

"Whatever it was, you owe that creature nothing."

"We've known each other a long time."

"You've been enemies for all of it."

"An enemy's just a friend you don't really know yet. Sorry. What, was that me being cynical again?"

"Aren't we friends, Doctor?"

"That's different. I don't like you!" The lady laughs.

"Which means you can trust me."

"You know who to give that to?" The Doctor gives her a disc. "I won't go straight away. I'll hang out for a bit. Probably meditate on a rock somewhere. Take Kate somewhere we haven't gone yet. Get ourselves ready." Ready for what? What is going on?

"You are embarking on an enterprise that will end in your destruction."

"You could say that about being born."

"Wherever you go, there are people who care enough to find you."

"Look after the universe for us. We've put a lot of work into it."

"Anyone can hide from an enemy, Doctor. No one from a friend." At that, we went back to the Tardis.

"What's going on?" The Doctor doesn't answer my question. "Doctor!" He goes over to the console room and has us flying. "Doctor! If we are dying, I want to know who's killing us and why we're dying." We land, and he leaves without a word. I follow him out into a large dining room. Almost like a castle style...did he just take us to a castle? I find the outside after I loose the Doctor to see we are in a castle. There's some servants everywhere. They take care of me as the Doctor meditates. I'm not allowed to see him, and it's really starting to annoy me. I spend most of my time in the library. I was reading Pride and Prejudice when the Doctor comes to see me again.

"Come on, we're leaving." I lay the book down and follow him to the Tardis.

"Are you going to tell me what we're doing?" The Doctor continues to say nothing. We land and leave. We're in a place that super foggy. Oh, we're in this episode. I remember this episode now. We hear a boy yelling for help. He surrounded by hands coming out of the ground. The Doctor throws his sonic screwdriver at the boy.

"Your chances of survival are about one in a thousand. So here's what you do. You forget the thousand, and you concentrate on the one. Pick it up." The boy doesn't pick it up. "I said, pick it up!" The boy finally does. "I'm straight ahead of you about fifty feet. Can you see me? The device in your hand is creating an acoustic corridor, so that we can talk. Do you understand?"

"Who are you?" The boy asks.

"Oh, I'm just a passer-by. I was looking for a bookshop. How do you think I"m doing?"

"This isn't a bookshop."

"No, this a war. A very old one, going by the mix of technology. Which war is this? I get them all muddled up."

"It's just the war."

"Where am I? What planet is this?"

"I don't understand."

"Well, neither do I. I try never to understand. It's called an open mind. Now, you have got to make a choice."

"A choice?"

"Yes, you have got to decide that you're going to live. Survival is just a choice. Choose it now."

"If I move, they'll get me."

"I told you, you have one chance in a thousand, but one is all you ever need. What's your name? Come on, faith in the future. Introduce yourself! Tell me the name of the boy who isn't going to die today."

"Davros." Me and the Doctor freeze. "My name is Davros." The Doctor doesn't say anything. "Hello? Are you still there? Please, you've got to help me. You said you'd help me. Help me!" We get back into the Tardis and leave.

"Doctor?" He continues to ignore me. "Are you going to tell me what the heck is going on." Nothing. "We stay in this huge castle for a few weeks and won't talk to me. I couldn't even see you. I deserve to know."

"Davros wants something from me."

"What?"

"I'm not sure, but this could kill the two of us. I've been trying to figure out a way for you to not die."

"I'll be fine, Doctor. I always am." He makes a sad face and continues with the console. The Doctor grabs his guitar and leaves again. We're in some kind of garage like place because there's a tank in here. The Doctor is already on it. He extends his hand to me, and I climb on. We drive into a courtyard filled with people as the Doctor plays the guitar. The crowd loves it. The Doctor finishes and bows. I bow too not wanting to offend anyone.

"Dude! What is that?" A man asks.

"You said you wanted an axe fight." There was a few laughs. "Oh, come on. In a few hundred years, that'll be really funny. It's a slow burner."

"A musical instrument is not an axe."

"Yes, and a daffodil is not a broadsword, but I still won the last round!" The Doctor exclaims. "What do you think of my tank? Don't worry. It isn't loaded."

"I don't like it."

"No, neither do I. I bought it for my fish."

"We have a fish?" I ask quietly.

"No just making it up as I go."

"Your fish?"

"I mya have ordered online!" Nothing. "Oh, come on? Fish? Tank? Kate, come on you have to think that's funny." I shake my head. "Honestly, this stuff will be hilarious in a ver few hundred years. Do please stick around." The Doctor starts playing again. I look to where he's looking and see Clara and Missy. "Now, you lot. I have been here all day, and it's been a great day!"

"You've been here for three weeks."

"Three weeks? It must be nearly bedtime. Well, we've partied." The crowd cheers. "Yes! I helped you dig a well, with a first-class, child-friendly visitor's center! I've give you some top-notch tuition in a fun but relevant way, and I have also introduced the word 'dude' several centuries early. Let me hear you!"

"Dude!" The crowd yells.

"Are you a Renaissance?"

"Dude!"

"Are you a Medieval?"

"Dude!'

"I am a dragon-slaying?"

"Dude!"

"We are all the young?"

"Dudes!"

"I like it, but I've got some sad news for you, dudes. Tonight, me and my wife are going to have to leave you." The crowd cries no. "But before we do, I'd like you to meet a couple of friends of mine." There's cheering as Clara enters the courtyard and waves.

"How did you know I was here? Did you see me?" Clara asks us.

"When do I not see you?"

"What, one face in all of that crowd?"

"There was a crowd, too?"

"Wow, we're doing charm as well, now, are we? Which one of us is dying?" The Doctor hops down and hugs Clara. "Okay, and we're doing hugging now, too. I can't keep up." I get down and stand next to the Doctor.

"Well, you know what they say. Hugging is a great way to hide your face."

"Okay, look. I guess a party, but not like this. What is this? This isn't you."

"I spent all day yesterday in a bow tie, the day before in a long scarf. It's my party, and all of me is invited." Missy suddenly enters.

"What the Hell are you up to, man?" She yells.

"It's the wicked stepmother! Everyone hiss!" The crowd hisses.

"Apparently, you think you're going to die tomorrow." She holds up the disc that he had given to the lady earlier.

"Well, I've got some good news about that."

"Oh, yeah?"

"It's still today!"

"Oh, that's very good."

"Bors, is it a marble again? Did you swallow one of the marbles I gave you? Don't swallow marbles." The Doctor says after Bors had started choking. He had snake around his neck that the Doctor pulls off.

"Doctor and Kate, your friends have led me to you. You will come." A man says approaching us.

"Says you and whose army?" A giant snake and a lot of little snakes come out from under the man's cloak. "Nobody dies here. Not one person, not one of our friends, do you understand?"

"Davros, creator of the Daleks, dark lord of Skaro, is dying."

"So I hear."

"We would speak with you again on the last night of his life."

"Then you will harm nobody in this place. Not one person. Are we very...very clear?"

"Are you so dangerous, little man?"

"You want to know how dangerous we are? Davros sent you. You know how stupid you are? Huh? You came!" The man hisses. "Is that supposed to frighten us? Snake nest in a dress? Now, explain, politely. Davros is our arch-enemy. Why would we want to talk to him?"

"No, wait, hang on a minute." Missy says offended. "Davros is your arch-enemy now?"

"Hush!"

"I'll scratch his eye out."

"Davros knows. Davros remembers." The man says. He holds out a sonic screwdriver and throws it as us.

"That's yours." Clara states.

"Er...it was."

"Was?"

"i don't have a screwdriver anymore."

"Ooo. Never seen that before. Doctor, the look on your face. What is that?" Missy asks.

"Shame. You're ashamed. Doctor? What have you done?" Clara turns to me. "Kate?" I say nothing.

"Is your ship in orbit?" The Doctor asks.

"It's a trap." Missy says.

"Prepare yourself for teleport." The man says.

"Doctor, Kate, listen to me. I know traps. Traps are my flirting. This is a trap."

"We are prepared."

"You sent me your confession dial. You two threw yourself a three week party. You know what this is."

"Yes, goodbye." He turns to Clara. "Goodbye, Clara." Snakes tie mine and the Doctor's hands behind our backs.

"We're coming with them. Both of us, her and me." Clara says.

"No! No, no, no, no. Under no circumstances! What are you doing now?" The Doctor asks as they join us.

"Voting. We are a democracy. It is agreed." Snakes tie Missy and Clara's hands.

"No, no, no! I forbid it, no! No! No! No! No!" The Doctor exclaims as we're teleported.
