Chapter 6: Steph's Decision
The next morning Ranger and Stephanie were packing up. They were going to Ranger's house or also called the bat cave. Abel, Carlos brother was picking them up. So they could go to Stephanie's apartment to pick up her crappy SUV that she had. Hopefully they could use it. Abel came up to Tank's house and knocked on the door.
Tank answered it, and gave Abel a hug.
"They are all packed, so let's load them up. Ranger really wants them to stay at his house so they are going to his bat cave." Tank told Abel.
"Bat Cave?" Abel questioned Tank.
"That is what little one calls it." Tank told him while they were leaning against Abel's BMW SUV. Stephanie walked out of the house and stood still. She looked at Abel like there could be two Rangers. His build was almost the same; he was buff just like ranger had the same colored hair and same eyes. Stephanie tongue was almost hanging out of her mouth.
"Babe, you are staring" Ranger told her.
"Hey Bro." Carlos yelled and gave his brother a hug.
"Is that your girl, the one you want to marry?" Abel asked him.
"Yeah, I can't wait until the family meets her. Come on over and I will introduce her." Abel and Carlos walked over to Stephanie.
"Stephanie Plum this is my younger brother Abel. Abel this is Stephanie Plum." Carlos introduced them.
"Time to go Babe we have to see if your car is drivable." Ranger eyed his brother who was looking Stephanie up and down.
They all piled in to Abel's BMW SUV and drove to Stephanie's apartment building. When they parked in Steph's parking lot, they could not find Steph's car.
"I left it right here next to the dumpster and now it is not here where is my car? Who could have taken it?" Stephanie cried. Ranger put her arm around her shoulder, "Babe we will use one of my personal cars until we can get you a new one." He whispered in her ear.
"Okay Bro looks like you are bringing us to my house let go." Ranger smiled a huge smile.
They continued to drive for about forty five minutes, until they reached the out skirts of Trenton New Jersey. The trio took a left off the pike and drove for another ten minutes. The three of took a left onto a dead end road. Stephanie was looking out the window when she saw this huge Victorian mansion and whistled.
"This is your bat cave?" she asked him with an open mouth.
"You mean our bat cave babe!" He replied to her. She looked at the two story mansion, with a balcony on the second floor that looked out to lake about a hundred yards out from the main driveway. She noticed the garage that held three cars next to the mansion. The mansion was all done in brick from top to bottom, with a shingled roof. She noticed that it had two gigantic brick chimneys. While she was looking at the mansion Ranger was telling her about the inside of it.
"There are eight rooms, 3 full baths, a gym, a pool with a spa in it and let's not forget the stables with four full Arabian horses which includes 1 stallion for stud purposes. Yes this is our home." Ranger told her, taking her into his arms.
The three of them parked and Abel opened his truck so Ranger and Stephanie could get their suitcases and Tux as well.
The kitten was meowing up a storm because he did not like to been in his carrier.
Ranger took her suitcase and followed him into the house. She was on the lower porch that had chairs and tables on it with a bench at the far side of it.
"Babe are we ready to go in the house?" He asked her softly.
"You call this a house, are you nuts, how am I going to take care of this place it is huge?" She told him in shock.
"My brother forgot to tell you about the ten people of staff that works to keep this place clean" Abel almost sang it to Stephanie.
"Come on in Babe, it is okay trust me" Carlos told her softly.
Stephanie walked into the mansion and saw a large old stair case leading to the up stair that had a large balcony going off to the rooms. A maid came up to her, "Hello Madam may I take your suitcase up to the master bedroom?" She asked Stephanie.
"Yes, please" Stephanie answered her in shock. She walked to the right and saw a dining room that could seat at least twenty people at the huge table. She looked up to the ceiling and noticed the crystal chandelier that looked like candles on the bottom level, and icicles on the top levels of it. She looked at the ancient wood work on the walls of the dining room.
"Wow I can't believe that this all this is yours." She told him in shock.
"Darling it is yours as well, after we are married." He told her, "{now why don't we go upstairs and I can show you the master bedroom"
"Yeah, okay but I want to look around before we do any of the stuff you are thinking of" She said. She went upstairs to see the bedrooms.
Carlos walked up to his brother and told him, "Thanks for the ride let mom and dad know that that are invited to come over anytime as long as they call first including you too."
"Well do have fun" Abel said and left the mansion.
Carlos went into the master bedroom and saw his future bride on the balcony looking out to the stables, and the horses.
"Do you know how to ride Babe?" He asked her as he came up and put his arms around her waist.
"No" she whispered and looked at the horses.
"Well don't worry I will teach you." He told her in her ear. He started to nibble at her earlobe.
"Carlos this place is amazing" she turned around only to find his mouth go onto hers. She let the kiss continue. He put his arms under her shirt and undid her bra. Stephanie put one hand under his shirt. He picked her up and put her on his king sized bed. He took of her pants and underwear, threw them on the floor. She undressed him. He was on top of her in an instant. He could hear her moaning, as he sucked on her breasts. His hands were moving down her thighs. He spread her legs, and entered her.
"Oh Carlos, this is wonderful." She whispered softly and she was sleeping.
"You can check the rest of the house out later, Babe" Carlos told her, He fell asleep next to her.
