Hey guys! I am back with another chapter of Through Time and Space! Wow, it's been a bit hasn't it? School plus work has been kicking my butt. I'm trying to get these out as quick as possible though. Y'all are still very important to me, and I want to continue this story. I want to get to the things I have planned, and I want to get through this section at least before I stop. Anyways, I'm watching Kitchen Nightmares. Enjoy the chapter!
Magician's Apprentice Part 2
When I open my eyes again, we are on a ship. I'm assuming we are going to be taken to Davros. I've never actually met Davros before, but I guess it was bound to happen one of these days. I wanted to grab the Doctor's hand, but our hands are still tied behind us.
"Who's Davros?" Clara asks after standing around for a while.
"Davros is the child of war, a war that wouldn't end. A thousand years of fighting, till nobody could remember why. So Davros, he created a new kind of warrior, one that wouldn't bother with that question. A mutant in a tank that would never, ever stop, and they never did." The Doctor says explaining Davros. I had some idea of him, but I hadn't realized the war had been going on that long. Even longer than what I had learned from what was discussed, which really wasn't all that much.
"The Daleks?"
"How scared must you be to seal every one of your own kind inside a tank?" The Doctor pauses. "Davros made the Daleks, but who made Davros?" There was a sudden woosh and suddenly there were stars outside the window.
"Okay, great. Coming out of hyperspace." Missy says. That is still so weird.
"So that's where he ended up."
"What is that?" Clara asks pointing to something in the distance.
"I don't know. A hospital?" We are led into what looks like a hospital. It almost feels like the first episode with Martha in the hospital on the moon. Naturally, we are forced to sit in waiting room for a bit.
"How long have we been waiting?"
"Who knows? It's always the way with hospitals." Finally the door across from us opens and someone comes in.
"You will come with me." He says pointing to me and the Doctor. I'm going? "You will stay." He says pointing to Missy and Clara. This is still very odd.
"Fair enough." Missy says.
"Doctor, you sent Missy your confession dial." Clara states.
"Well, we've known each other a long time. She's one of my own people." It slightly hurts that I didn't get any kind of confession dial. I'm supposed to be his wife who he has known for a really long time right?
"My point is, we both saw her die on Earth, ages ago, and obviously you know that wasn't real. Or worse, hoped it wasn't. Either way, I think you've been lying."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize. Make it up to me. There, see? Ha. Now you have to come back." She looks directly at me. "Both of you." I walk over and give her a hug before I follow the guy who came in with the Doctor. I wanted to grab the Doctor's hand, but our hands were still tied. We walk into a large room where Davros is connected by many tubes keeping him alive. I've never seen him before in real life, but he's just as terrible looking in real life as he does on television.
"Doctor? Kate?" Davros asks as we walk inside. We walk in front of him, so he can see us. "Doctor, Kate."
"Davros." Me and the Doctor say at the same time.
"I approve of your new face, Doctor. So much more like mine. Kate, you look as beautiful as you always do." Shivers went down my spine. "Colony Sarff, untie our guest's hands." Sarff comes over and unties our hands. I still wanted to grab his hand, but I didn't want to show weakness to Davros. "You may leave us." Sarff nods and leaves. "You came, then."
"Clearly." The Doctor says.
"Did you suspect a trap?"
"We still do." I say.
"Then why are you here? Did you miss our conversations?" Davros says pushing a button. A screen on the wall starts playing some clips from the Doctor's different regenerations. The thing was I wasn't in every clip that played, which worries me. Where was I?
"If you had created a virus in your laboratory." The first clip of the Fourth Doctor says.
"We're not here as your prisoner, Davros..." The Fifth Doctor says.
"Unimaginable power! Unlimited rice pudding!" The Seventh Doctor says. I let out a chuckle at that.
"Everything we saw. Everything we lost." The Tenth Doctor says.
"But did you bother to tell anyone they might be eating their own relatives?" The Sixth Doctor says.
"Yes, yes, yes, okay, you've made your point." The Doctor here and now says.
"Have I?" Davros asks.
"If someone who knew the future pointed out a child to you and told you that that child would grow up totally evil, to be a ruthless dictator who would destroy millions of lives, could you then kill that child?" The Fourth Doctor asks. The Twelfth Doctor finally turns off the screen.
"I get the point." He says.
"Do you know why you came, Doctor? Kate? You two have a sense of duty. Of guilt, perhaps. And certainly of shame." I just looked at him confused. "Oh, young Kate. So naive and so hopeful. That's not going to last very much longer."
"You flatter us."
"Pity. I intended to accuse. I believe that for the ultimate good of the universe, I was right to create the Daleks."
"You were very wrong." I say.
"This is the argument we've had since we met."
"It ended in the Time War." The Doctor says.
"It survived the Time War, but it will end tonight. That is why you two are here." As he says that, an alarm goes off. "It seems your friends have gone exploring."
"No!" The Doctor and I yell realizing what was happening as the window opens.
"Skaro! You've brought me to Skaro!" I may have never been to Skaro, but I've seen the pictures.
"Where does an old man go to die, but with his children?" Me and the Doctor turn to each other.
"Clara!" We yell at the same time. We go over to the door and try to open it.
"You cannot help her now, Doctor and Kate." Davros taunts. The Doctor turns around furious.
"What are they going to do? Tell me, what?" He asks approaching Davros.
"Who can say? You know what children are like."
"Daleks! Pay attention!" Missy says on the screen.
"Don't. Just don't."
"You know what this is? This thing you're about to destroy? I'll tell you! It's the dog's unmentionables, and you know all about those, don't you?" Missy continues. "This is a Tardis. With this, you can go anywhere, do anything, kill anyone. With this, the Daleks can be more powerful than ever before." I notice Clara moves towards the door of the Tardis. "You just need one thing."
"No, Missy, no!" I yell.
"Me. You need me. A Time Lady to show you know it works. With this and with me, everything can be yours. And you can burn it all, for ever and ever and ever." Long pause. "Or would you rather just kill me?"
"Maximum extermination." The larger Dalek says.
"Exterminate." The Daleks keep saying as they fire at Missy. She disappears in the mess.
"Please! Please, I'm begging you. Please, please. Please, save Clara." The Doctor says going over to Davros.
"I gave the Daleks life. I do not control them." Davros says. The Daleks turn to Clara. Tears come to my eyes. I knew she was going to survive, but it's not easy to watch. The Doctor finds his way back to me and pulls me in to him.
"Oh, Clara. Oh, my Clara."
"See how they play with her. See how they toy. They want her to run. They need her to run. Do you feel their need, Doctor, Kate? Their blood is screaming kill, kill, kill! Hunter and prey hled in the ecstasy of crisis. Is this not life at its purest?" The Daleks fire at Clara and she disappears screaming. I turn my head into the Doctor as he pulls me closer.
"Why have we ever let you live?"
"Compassion, Doctor and Kate. It has always been you greatest indulgence. Let this be my final victory. Let me hear you say it, just once. Compassion is wrong."
"Destroy the Tardis!" The main Dalek yells.
"Destroy!" The Daleks yell as they shoot at the Tardis. The screen soon goes white.

After three months, this chapter is finally done! I have one more final at the time of writing this note. I have four weeks of break, so I will be able to write a lot more after tomorrow. I have not stopped this story. It continues on! Anyways, I hope you guys have an amazing day! Bye guys!
