Chapter 8: Steph's Decision
When Ranger got inside, he noticed Tank sitting in his office.
"Babe Tank is here let's see if we can get some work done" Ranger told her. She followed him past the kitchen. She noticed him turn right and go down another hall. She went down the hall after she lost Ranger. She heard his voice at the end of the hall. She found him in the last room on the left of that hallway.
Stephanie knocked on the door.
Tank opened the door, "hey there little one did you get lost?"
"Yeah, I have not really seen this place, except for some of the outside, the pool and the master bedroom." She replied to Tank.
Ranger turned a shade of red and Tank noticed but said nothing.
Stephanie took a chair against the wall.
"Okay now that we are all here, let's call the insurance company." Ranger picked up the phone on the desk, and dialed a number.
The three of them got a recording, with a menu, Press one if filing a new claim, press two to change your policy and so on.
Ranger first pressed one, and he was put on hold.
After a few minutes, Charles More picked up the phone, "This One Insurance Company how can I help you?"
"Hello Charles this is Carlos Manoso, I have to file a claim on my building, someone bombed the seventh floor on the 20th of November."
"Was there any casualties?" Charles asked.
"None, the seventh floor, mainly my apartment was destroyed." Carlos told him.
"Okay, we can take care of that. The claim has been filed is there anything else I can do for you Mr. Manoso?" Charles asked him.
"Yes, I want Stephanie Plum to inherit Rangeman if anything should happen to me." Carlos told Charles.
Stephanie's mouth dropped open.
"Say that again?" Stephanie replied out loud.
"Okay I will send you the paper work so you can sign it, is there anything else?" Charles asked
"No that will be all, get me the paperwork as soon as possible." Ranger hung up.
"Ranger what did you just do?" Stephanie yelled at him.
"Babe, you will be my wife, if anything should ever happen to me, I want you to take my part of Rangeman." He calmly told her.
"Okay" she shook her head, "Is there anything else that you are giving me if you should die?" She could not believe the words that were just said.
"Yes, but we can discuss that later. Tank any idea as to what is happening now, do we know how bombed my apartment?" Ranger asked his friend.
"No not a clue, there were some prints but they were not in the database at Rangeman, so as Morelli said it could be someone without a record and not in any system." Tank told him while shaking his head.
"Stephanie I am here if you need me, and I will help you in any way I can if it comes to the point that you inherit Rangeman" Tank told her.
"Thanks Tank let's hope that it does not come down to that" She answered her friend.
Steph then started to looked around Ranger's home office, on the desk was a computer, and on the opposite wall was a doctorate in Business made out to Carlos Manoso from Yale. In front of the desk were two chairs which Tank was in one, and Stephanie was in another one against a side wall.
"Okay keep posted." Ranger got up, followed by Tank and last Stephanie.
"I am going have someone from Rangeman stay with the both of you, Lester and Hal just to make sure it stays quiet here" Tank told them both. Tank left them in the mansion.
"Carlos, are you sure you want me to inherit Rangeman if anything happens to you?" she looked at him with a serious face.
"Yes, Babe I love you and I want to make sure you are taken care of, now follow me and I will give you a tour of our house. The two of them walked through the hallway that the both of them walked through earlier.
"Okay babe, you saw the dining room, the pool, and the outside including the stables, now let me show you the rest of the house. First we have a one room for a guest to use down here across from my office. To the left of that is a bathroom on this floor. We have a total of three full size bathrooms with a spa in each of them." Ranger opened the door to the first bathroom.
Stephanie looked in the neutral colored bathroom. She saw his Bvlgari Show Gel, in one corner of the shower. She also saw the double sink next to the toilet, and then the closet with the stocked towels.
"All the bathrooms are the same, so when you seen one of mine you have seen them all."
The walked toward the end of the hall and turned left. "Here is a sitting room, where we can read, talk, or watch TV if we have time." She saw a couch with a coffee table in the front. She also saw a flat screen TV with speakers all across the room, but no pictures anywhere.
They walked out of that room in to the hallway you enter when you enter into the house. She saw a curved stair case to the right side of the room, close to the kitchen.
Stephanie started to walk up the stair case, when she got to the top she paused to look down and see Ranger smiling up at her. "Hey are you coming up?"
"Yup right now" He followed her up the stairs, she went in the first room on the right, and "Nice gym" she told him. The gym was fully stocked with free weights, weight machines, Treadmill and a boxing bag. She closed the door and went into the first door on the left, and found it was the room where she woke up in yesterday. This must be the master bedroom. She said it out loud and did not notice Carlos standing behind her putting his arms around her waist.
"You are right" He tried to coax her to the bed. She stared to the right and saw a huge closet and on the wall where a fire place was she saw the other bathroom.
She found a bureau also opposite the bed. A couple of night stands on either side of the head board.
"Babe the rest of the house is the other bedrooms; they almost look exactly alike except the other Bathroom is in the gym. This is your house babe; you and I are going to start a family here."
Ranger got up off the bed and pulled Stephanie to the bed. He gave her a long passionate kiss.
"O'boy" She put her arms around Ranger's neck. He sneaked his arms under her shirt undid her bra. He pulled her shirt up over her head. She moved her hands down to the bottom of his shirt and pulled it over his head. He looked at her naked top part. "I love you so much" he growled. Steph put her hand down his cargo pants, and felt his hardness. "Wow" he said, he threw her pants across the room. He took of her underwear. He managed to put her on the bed. Ranger joined her. He was sucking her breasts. She was biting his neck while his hands were on her thighs, and then behind her on her butt. "Ranger please take me now?" she begged him. He was inside her thrusting wildly. She could follow every move he made. When he was done he rolled to the other side of her. "Wow babe that was the best." He softly told her then he kissed her slightly on the lips and wrapped her in his arms for the night.
