Chapter 21 Steph's decision
While Steph and Ranger were in the spare bedroom. Tank was trying to get rid of Morelli and Diesel. All three of them were standing at the front gate, when all of a sudden Morelli and Diesel were gone. All Tank could see was a puff of smoke.
"Oh no, this is not good" Tank said. He took the key card and opened the gate and walked through it and then the gate shut behind him.
The next thing Morelli realized was that they were inside the old castle.
"How the heck?" was all Morelli could say.
The both of them could hear a lot of moaning from the stairway.
"Okay now what?" Diesel asked Morelli.
"I want see Stephanie."
"I don't think now would be a good time." Diesel answered him.
"Dad!" Julie yelled as she came into the living room and did not recognize both Diesel and Morelli.
"Oh, shit we forgot about Julie." Morelli slapped his palm against his forehead.
"Ranger" Stephanie stopped in the mist of taking off her shirt.
"I heard." Ranger slid off the bed in two seconds threw his cargos on and stampeded upstairs only to find Morelli and Diesel in the living room trying to get Julie to be quiet.
"What the heck?" Ranger said a loud.
Julie raced up to Ranger and wrapped her arms around his waist.
He bent down to her level, "are you all right?"
"Yes, now but they appeared out of nowhere they just showed up in a cloud of smoke." Julie said to her father.
"Morelli and Diesel what are you doing here in my home?" Ranger snorted at them.
Both Morelli and Diesel turned around to see a very angry Ranger.
"I came to see Stephanie, and this goon says that he is Steph's cousin." Morelli told him as he pointed a finger to Diesel.
"He is my cousin" Stephanie replied to Morelli as she finished coming up the stairs in a t-shirt and a pair of shorts.
"oh, Cupcake I am so sorry about what I said, please come back to me I really miss you and I am ready to settle down and start a family." Morelli said as he got down on one knee.
"Morelli, I have made up my mind I am going to marry Ranger, he is my true love and the father of my children." Stephanie told Morelli in a serious tone.
All of a sudden Tank appeared out of nowhere.
"Tank"
"Sorry boss one minute they were in front of me the next gone" Tank answered while shaking his head.
"It is not your fault Tank my cousin has a habit of doing that." Stephanie told him.
"Ranger, let's go back to what we were doing and let Tank finish this up." Stephanie whispered softly in Carlos's ear.
"Sounds good to me but after seeing your cousin and Morelli proposing to you, I lost the mood, sorry babe. He gently kissed her on the lips." Ranger took Stephanie's hand and they went back to bed for a while.
"Hey dad, I schedule a tour for a school in this area, it is called the Broadway School, and it is close by to this castle." Julie told her dad and future mom.
"Ranger I have heard very good things about this school" Morelli told him Tank looked at him and just shook his head again.
"How would you know?" Stephanie asked and she then remembered that one of his brother's kids go to that school.
"One of his nieces goes to that school Ranger." Stephanie told him.
"you to bed, or what doing up anyway?" Ranger asked his daughter
"I could not sleep." Julie told him
"Alright I will be up in a minute go on." Ranger told his daughter, "besides I heard a whoosh and then a bang, so I came down I saw them." Julie told her father.
"You know the rest" Julie beamed at her father.
"Stephanie take Julie upstairs and I will deal with them" Ranger said shaking his head now.
"Come on Julie let's your dad get to work" Stephanie told her.
Once Stephanie and Julie were gone. Ranger told them to come to his office down stairs.
"all right I will tell you this once and only once. You need to lay off both of you. Morelli face it she chose me not you live with it. You have a choice you can move on or you can cause trouble, but I don't think you want to do it. As for you Diesel please give her some space. I don't want to know why you are here, but I hope to god it does not have to include me, Stephanie or Julie. You are getting one warning only and this is it." Ranger told them very sternly.
Diesel was looking around Ranger's office so was Morelli.
"Do you two have anything to say?" Ranger asked them.
"Nope I am good, you Morelli?" Diesel asked him.
"Nope I just want you to know that I am never giving up on Stephanie." Morelli stormed out of the castle. Diesel went away the only way he knew how in a puff of smoke.
